SEASON 3 BABYYYYYYYYYY (sobbing)

I have started season 3! Here are my thoughts that I am adding to everytime I pause the first episode

SO, everyone appears to still have their powers, well Gus does. But last time Luz was there (Season 1 finale maybe? I forget when) Luz was unable to use the glyphs, which makes sense. No world magic in the Human Universe, but the magic people have magic in their heart thing (??) so, it makes sense they can still do magic

AND I FORGOT GUS IS A HUMAN NERD! He had the whole human club thing at Hexside, and now he gets to witness the magic that is bubble wrap, amazing. ALSO, this is a Gus fanpage, HE HELPED LUZ'S MUM WASH THE DISHES! I love him.

Hunter and Luz bonding over not telling the others things in their secret things. Poor little kids just confused. They don't deserve this.

"Thank you for providing us shelter ma'am" "Please never do that again" HUNTER YOU PRECIOUS CHILD, poor Luz's mum now has like, 6 kids (including Vee) overnight, she is struggling, especially with the magic terms and Belos and Collector story.

...THEY HAVE A VERSION OF DUOLINGO!?! Oh Hooty is going to LOVE this. AND VEE!! Vee is adorable I love her, she has basically perfected a WHOLE DIFFERENT LANGUAGE!

Gus' magic thing becoming an earring is also not being unnoticed, I am absolutely seeing it, and going insane over it, and now want it, despite not having my ears pierced, I also want to dress like how he is dressed, god someone tell me where Gus gets his human clothes from, his overall vibes are immaculate

Whatever Flapjack is looking for is also noted, I will keep this in mind, but please magic birdy, don't ruin these floors, they have just done this building back up (/lh)

...Gus being obsessed with a book and accidentally hinting to Hunter he knows about the Grimwalker thing, was hilarious. But NOT as hilarious as Gus creating a whole shrine to this book series in a tiny closet in the basement, I love Gus

GOD I ALSO LOVE CAMILA, she is studying so many books and paper and making notes etc to help find something for them to eat I AM GOING INSANE

AND SHE IS DEFENDING LUZ SO MUCH AHHHH, I LOVE CAMILA SO MUCH, I also relate to little Luz, I too was weird and did weird stuff without realising it was weird, god I feel so sorry for Camilla, SHE IS A WONDERFUL PARENT, if I see anyone ever insulting her I will go feral, she is under my protection now, if she has 1 fan, its me, if she has 0, I am dead. SHE EVEN HAS THE SNAKE PJS FRAMED!! AND THE BI LOVE BRACELET! God I am going insane

Oh but couldn't Belos actually be there, but in the mirror like Luz and the Collector did? Which is why Hunter saw him there but he isn't actually in the house?

ANYWAY, I have gone through like, half the first episode and I have put a lot of thoughts here, so this is part 1 of s3 episode 1 reaction, will upload the second part when I finish the episode but YEAH, so far, absolutely loving this season, I like that its all blind reactions, I usually see stuff about the shows and that's what makes me watch it, but instead I am truly coming into this not knowing anything, which is fun!

He’s a dork who’s just worried ☹️ Jungkook deep down is a pretty level headed boy who’s tired and just wants Mc to be safe and YES we finally get to meet Yoongi.

As for who the half brother is…HEH guess we’ll just have to find out 😎 and aNd AND!!! Your remark about Taehyun 🥹🥹🥹🥹 it’s SO true!! He’s tired but he totally thinks Jungkook is like the coolest person in the castle (would never openly admit that) and he’s constantly working harder and harder just like Jungkook does 🥹 (even if it really isn’t healthy)

YESSSSS 🤌🤌🤌 I always LOVE being able to give MC a pet and I felt this was VERY fitting for MC, and also it’s like!!! A fresh start for her and Jungkook and he’s secretly really excited to gift it to her because he knows how heartbroken she was about the whole situation and now she had a pup to take care of aND- 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 *shhh this is a surprise tool for later 😏*

Ahhh I’m so happy you loved the chapter my dear!! And I totally agree with you, while it was more filler related, I felt like this chapter was VERY vital to Jungkook and MC’s relationship because it’s the very first where we can see them openly embrace one another and be receptive to one another, in conversation and touch and we can see this sort of softness develop between them that needed to happen during this chapter because the next arc of the story is very fun, in a lot of ways, but they’ll need to be closer for it to work! It’s also kind of nice to take a break from all the melodrama sometimes for sure haha!

I’m also so sorry for your loss my love! And I’m glad this little story of mine can provide some relief and a good distraction meanwhile and I hope you stay well hydrated and the universe is kind to you this coming week 🥹 as always seriously!! Charlie's just Turbule's big brother. It's like if you took the Canon!Aduece + Grim and Yuu relationship, reduced it to two(2) people, and made it a tiny less chaotic. Turbule drags Charlie into whatever seems like a "tall person" problem that they can't solve.

Anyway, Turbule still doesn't hesitate to ask her dorm members for anything. Whether that be for a quick game or if they have any spare Kool-Aid. Hey, it's an essential.

Also they both livin that ex-deliquent life

(side note: i took 10 minutes to remember the word deliquent and i was ready to rip my hair out cause all i can remember is 'degenerate' and it sounded so harsh 😭)

Of course, Ruggies an obvious one here, he is, afterall, a big brother himself, so they kinda vibe a lot, he also feels bad that stinky (/lh) Leona always makes him do the chores so he helps him out

Funny thing is that, Ruggie was originally suppose to be the love itnerest for Charlie T0T but im a sucker for enemies to lovers troupe so i just made Leona into his prince charming (Although i still HC that Ruggie has one sided feelings so i can suffer)

As for Leona, theyre childhood rivals, went to the same school and everything, and saw each other quite a bit due to his mom being a seamstress and actually making clothes for Leona's family from time to time!

allow me to just answer the question in your tags via ask cause I don't know of a less awkward way to address it >_< I think I decided to just explain the differences with porky's happy happy dialogue in my post rather than including the Specific Lines because it's a case of "both versions read exactly the same except for one tiny thing, but that one tiny thing Completely Changes the Entire Scene's Context", but I know that'd just make me more curious about the specific lines too haha... so!

the one tiny thing is that very last line: ....ダメか。(.... dame ka.) which can translate as "no good, huh." or alternatively "I guess that's a no, huh."

(with the unspoken but very clear implication that porky wouldn't have been "lying" about it if ness's answer had been yes. ;;v;;)

Digital journal: Intro to Animation and application, Final Project Proposal Presentation, Final Project Process, Final product pt. 1

10/31

Animation Photoshop Notes:

Rename layers by double clicking

Fill and then bucket to add a greenscreen background

Click on the eye ball icon to switch between the two different backdrops and then you can highlight both backdrops, make new groups, folder to organize the background

How to make our own characters:

example: a ghost

Use the brush tool to make the overall shape of the ghost and fill it in with white. You can use the move tool to move the drawing you just made around. Ctrl click to duplicate the layer and then you can change specific elements of the ghost

Making a transition

opacity (how visible or invisible can object can be)

You can highlight all of the elements, transitions or layers and put them all into one folder

lasso tool that allows you to select parts of the layer of the background (allows you to manipulate what part of the background the character can go behind) -> like you want the ghost to go behind the tree, which is in the background. CRTL C to copy the highlighted element and CTRL V to paste it onto the green screen part of of the two backgrounds.

11/7 Animation Workshop Part 2 and Final Project discussion

Today was the day of our second animation workshop, and we were instructed to come in with our animation subjects with multiple layers to learn how to synthesize them together and officially animate. Prior to class, I encountered some issues. My computer is not equipped to run complex programs like Photoshop. This heavily hampered my ability to complete my layers before class, resulting in me not having the proper frames before class.

This being the case and the fact that I was not too satisfied with my original frames, I decided to start over. This time, it went smoother having my accumulated knowledge from last class and guidance. I ended with my final animation, which I unfortunately cannot attach because there was technical issues with uploading it to my hard drive. But here's a demo of my process of figuring out how to work the functions of Photoshop!

Prior to our animation workshop, as a class we had the chance to discuss our final project in which we have to recreate a scene that is at least 3 minutes and must include an animation element. I decided to partner with my friend Mya, because their ideas are thorough and I know that working with them, we will both produce a cohesive product. We got straight into brainstorming, as shown below:

SCENE IDEAS:

. Mean Girls: Regina writes herself in the burn book, and throws flyers around the school

. Spongebob: Sandy is looking for spongebob “I’m ready i’m ready” and Sandy responds “No you aint!” OR the krustkrab pizza scene

. Scary movie: cindy and her friend fight the grudge in their living room

MEAN GIRLS BRAINSTORM: (#1 IDEA)

Animation elements: steam coming out of regina’s ears, animating “AHHHHH” out of regina’s mouth and filling up the screen

Props: burnbook, printed photos of ourselves, car to stand by for beginning of scene, A LOT OF PAPER

With these ideas in mind, we can now move into our final project proposal, which we will be presenting in class next week.

11/13 (prior to class)

Tomorrow we present our final project proposals, and Mya and I synthesized facets of our idea into a slideshow, including our written script, our technical script with specific camera cuts, thanks to Mya, props, setting, actors, and more to give the class insight into our future creative process.

11/14 (final project proposal presentation)

Today we presented our proposal and got the chance to see what our classmates are planning to do. Looking at the proposals, it looks like all of us have a good amount of work cut out for us, and the due date is December 5th, which is pretty close, considering Thanksgiving Break. This made me extremely apprehensive given the technical responsibilities (operating a camera and new equipment such as rode mics and light kits) and the time constraint. Besides this, we put in a request for the needed equipment and to our dismay, the needed equipment was not available until after break, giving us limited time to film and get everything squared away before the 5th. I am hopeful that we can get this figured out before break.

11/27 (Back from break!)

Coming back from break, I got a lot of time to ponder about the stakes of our project, and so did Mya. We got together today and decided that the best course of action given that finals are coming up was to change our scene. By changing our scene to one that involves less people would make it easier for us to get as much done in our time frame and the new scene we have involves comedic relief, which shouldn't be too hard to emulate. We have devised our second final project proposal:

I’ve actually been trying to figure out your art and from what I can tell is that you use the blend tool and maybe gradient maps for the fabric?? But if you don’t mind, could you explain how you did the highlights on the first kylar and robin art you posted? the nose highlight on robin is very refreshing like he’s actually in the sunlight!! and kylar in a bathroom with dingy lighting (lmao)

You are absolutely right in that I severely abuse use both gradient maps and the blend tool yes! I basically use the blend tool on everything (including fabric) and by that i mean e v e r y t h i n g. lol

I'm not very good at explaining stuff nor am I the best person to learn from LOL but I'll try to explain how I did the lighting!

These are just general guidelines! you can achieve all sorts of effects by playing around with colours and stuff;

see how much i abuse this LOL

basically i try to pay attention to values + colours to create a certain atmosphere, and to use lighting to guide the viewer's eye when i can

I used my robin art to explain it because its a lot closer to how I usually colour stuff; when i drew the kylar one I think I actually rendered it in greyscale and layered a gradient map over it. this is why his skin is practically grey lol. (but the thought process is essentially the same)

FUN FACT I actually colored his tongue red as a last-minute decision and i almost posted this lowkey-very-cursed green tongue kylar.

Hi! I'm a previous anon (the hopeless Leo fan anon) I just wanted to say that I binge read the entire thing a few times to see what I could catch because I love this fic 😭😭😭.

Of course I wanted to theorize about Leo because I am me... So, I am definitely pretty sure that the reason they decided to keep using this turtles and get the others instead of him was Leo himself. Maybe he's working as an strategist for the Kraang? (Since they do have more enemies like they said in the fic) I don't think he's seen much of Donnie. They probably are separated deliberately and only Raph stayed with Mikey because of the not being alone thing. They already have bodyguard duty covered by Raph and Mikey. Leo should have other tasks

Also he's probably the one that will be most useful for the Kraang or the one that will serve them longer and I say this not just because I am a fan but because I read the extra one shot when he said that he would never serve them and he was the last to get chipped (I do love me some angsty angsty irony)

I had more thoughts but I honestly can't remember right now.

This I didn't see in the fic but I would love if the Kraang moved against the foot because at this point they aren't very useful... (Come on 99% of their forces are Kraang robots it's like they are asking to be taken over by them!) Bonus round: if Leo took over we could have some foot Leo as a treat! (Shredder Leo parallels my beloveds)

But for now I am dying to see how Raph has been holding up and God. His reaction to having attacked Mikey??? To having to fight his little brothers!!?!!?!?! I love rise Raph. It's going to be great! I can't wait for the next chapter 😭😭😭

I have a lot of stuff I’m working on and am pretty far along into, it’s just been going a bit slowly for life reasons (we’ve been temporarily short-staffed at my job which has unfortunately coincided with bringing on some big new clients so I’m working crazy hours and then also took on a p big freelance project at the same time bc I make questionable choices but also bc it’s a v awesome project and I’m hoping to be able to brag about it soon)

THAT SAID I’ve got a lot of stuff p far along including:

ch 2 of swear! fully drafted, def in need of another major editing pass though. there’s a tension/tone through-line that’s not quiiiiiiite right and I’ve been trying to sort it out by writing Rio POV outtakes bc why not

ch 3 of swear! I’m trying really hard not to post for this fic until I have a chapter banked both for accountability reasons and also bc I’ve got a lot of threads woven into the fic that I’m trying to keep track of and it’s helpful to be able to bounce back a chapter and tweak things to properly set up stuff in the next chapter. I’m about a quarter/third or so into it but I’ve lowkey dropped it for now to focus ooooooooon...

the last chapter of song!! at last! it’s happening! highkey inspired to jump back in by a truly lovely comment @whiskeyjack left me and @xenalovesoq and her group chat’s unflagging enthusiasm, I am about 15K into the draft and *laugh nervously* a third of the way through my outline so that’s gonna be a monster

I’ve also got a bunch of other projects in various stages of outlining and drafting that are v much on my mind but def not a current priority like the others (Beth POV for listening, buffyverse if I can detangle the plot, the pacific rim AU I add a sentence or two to whenever I’m stuck on something else, the sex pollen I wrote half of and then paused to write swear).

so yeah, lots of stuff happening but nothing close enough that I’m comfortable predicting a timeline I’d inevitably fail at anyway. I’m not sure what’s going to get posted first tbh, I’d say probably song because that’s what I’m focused on rn but editing is going to be a bit of a thing given how long it’s shaping up to be (jfc oh god what am I doing) so idk!!

Her eyes dart from Rio's face to over his shoulder, sweeping the midway to see if anyone's watching them, and then back. The corner of his mouth tugs up like he knows what she's doing and it's funny. She locks onto the motion, the shrieking sounds of the carnival around them falling away. Midday sunshine giving way to deep, dark midnight blue in her mind’s eye.

Between her kids and then Rio having Marcus for a few days, Beth hadn't seen him since that night at the bar a full week ago. After she'd explained her plan to his satisfaction, she'd realized it was getting late, and she had to get home. He’d walked her out to the van and the unexpected gallantry of the gesture caught her off guard, and something bloomed, warm and sparkling in her chest. Then, alone in the parking lot, he'd pinned her up against the side of it, burying his face in her neck and pressing his hips into hers. Her moan when she felt him hard against her mingled with his answering one when she rolled her own hips right back, echoed together through the still, silent night.

Beth thought about yanking open the door of the van and tugging him inside. She knew he wouldn't object from the nearly frantic urgency of his hands gripping her waist, shoving up under her shirt, hot and rough against her skin. He'd cupped her breasts, his thumbs swiping across her nipples and pressing down. She'd gasped and arched against him, her nails digging into his shoulders through his shirt when he'd bit down on her neck in response.

A part of her wanted that—him—quick and furtive in the back of the van, too desperate for each other to wait. But another part thought of the reality of Emma's Barbie's digging into her back, the graham cracker crumbs she’s pretty sure the seats spontaneously generate at this point embedding themselves in her skin, the smell of apple juice and kid sweat that never entirely dissipates hanging around them and that isn't—she doesn't—

This thing between them feels different now. New and precious and somehow heavier and more fragile than it ever has before. It's a beginning, and Beth wants more for it—them—than a rushed hookup in a parking lot before they go their separate ways.

So she’d gently pushed him away and he'd let go of her immediately, even if he'd taken a beat to inhale deep against her skin before stepping all the way back.

When he'd met her eyes, Beth had known she didn't need to explain, and when he reached out a hand, pinky extended, her own had fluttered closed as he'd gently nudged her hair back, tucking it behind her ear.

"Next time."

Impact against her thighs snaps her back to the present, and Beth realizes she's swayed forward into the table between them. She can feel her blush flare, heating her cheeks and chest, but can't bring herself to be too embarrassed when she sees the way Rio's eyes have gone dark and hooded.

His lips part, and Beth can see the tip of his tongue pressed lightly against his teeth. She imagines leaning in, closing the distance, and sinking her teeth into his full, lush—

“Jesus Christ!”

But HOO BOI??? 4/5 were peak S/V awakening chapters for most of you tbh. And I can’t blame any of you because SO many of my personal fave scenes come from those chapters too (wow I remember when my writing was semi-good????). I mean the almost kiss??? The church scene??? The warehouse shootout??? The hUG??? THE DINER SCENE (which was the scene back when I first thought of including Santino in this fic—it hit me like a bullet). Their bickering and Santino telling her that he knows she feels something for him. This was all before he knew John was back too.

I think it’s safe to say that had Helen died only a few months later, hence delaying JW1 events, there’s a very good chance that Santino would have broken through at last.

Favorite Sherlock season so far? (Even though I have no clue, but please, enlighten me)

I’m gonna do my best to not include spoilers I suppose so here goes

okay okay so I think my favorite would probably be...god this is so hard to choose, so haha sike ima choose season 2 and 3 (no I cannot make decisions). For season 2 I really enjoyed the development between Sherlock and John (tbh what I live for) and well basically almost every ep in the show had me mindblown at one point or another but I think season 2 was great, episode 1 with The Woman which was very interesting and confused me for a while but I think was able to bring out a side in Sherlock we usually don’t see. Also the goddamn passcodes. Facepalmed when I realized I should have guessed sooner xD Also loved the punching scene and vid call scene + bedsheet, absolutely hilarious. Episode 2, I just love the friends line that Sherlock says to John after throwing kind of a fit. For episode 3, it was like dAMN; like a turning point I think what with the big thing™ that happened and what led to it, it really kind of showed well the extent of Sherlock’s genius and Moriarty as a villain and how quickly public opinion can be turned just from a seed of doubt that someone has planted. Really interesting and made me cry and question everything and god John’s reaction made me cry ahhh

For season 3 I think what was great was again the dynamic between John and Sherlock after welp the thing™ that happened and how they navigate their friendship afterwards, and also especially Sherlock’s character development in this season was excellent, loved it. Oh the bomb scene, god I frickin laughed so hard afterwards but goddamn is Sherlock an excellent actor. Also don’t forget Sherlock’s speech which was hilarious and gr9 oh that ep made me so sad at the end. Mm also Sherlock drops everything for John And the special episode was also really interesting because basically almost the entire thing was conjured up in Sherlock’s brain so everything the other characters do...part of his subconscious speaking...hehe anyways yeah that was super cool kind of like him being in his own head and then also making a connection to another case. Love me some symbolism of Moriarty and John inside Sherlock’s head. Oh god also the pressure points, those made me depressed about Sherlock.

so yeah in conclusion I cannot pick so I picked 2 seasons, I love them very much <3 and I love the character dev in general and the dynamics, its all v 👌

extra commentary (more like rambling) on other seasons under the cut

okay so for season 1 really liked that one too, how John and Sherlock become friends and John’s just kind of dragged into everything and he’s like, well wth, might as well! which basically sums up their entire relationship lmao

Now for season 4 it has the lowest rating which I can definitely see why, I don’t like, hate it, but it did mess with my mind a bit. I like what they were exploring, but god, I really wish it could have been portrayed much better especially with the last ep of season 4. The end of it felt like it was rushed and I would like an explanation but I can see why they did it I suppose, but like, man the soldiers stuff I just, there was a plot twist but why not with Sherlock who is usually the one with those twists and surprises me all the time, ya kno? Gave some closure but left many unanswered questions. Whew tfp really had me for the entire ep until the end ahhhhh and the inclusion of moriarty in it was just, it just could have been done much better. Disappointed, but not as bad as I thought it would be.

Ahhhhh STWS 9, what a beautiful surprise. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I know Amelia doesn’t have a nickname to start this chapter off, but I’m bringing back Amelia the Brave because this is a really big step for her to go talk to Harry. When she was thinking about her parents/pressure, I wondered if that’s why she’s applied herself so much to her work and held on so tightly. Not saying that she’s going to slack off now, but it makes sense she’d apply the same mentality to work as school now

2) I love the little insights we get in this story, like Hazel calling it the Jelly Glass. The details are just 🥰🥰. I also love Harry thinking about seeing Amelia the way the rest of the world does get too (all relaxed) and how different his view is now to when he only got Thursday Night Amelia. Also how true Meils is to her character that she’s subconsciously going back to a workplace conflict seminar while trying to navigate this conversation with Harry. 3) because of course this is all new to her because she didn’t go for relationships. God, Katey, the LAYERS in this fic and these characters are incredible so seriously well done and thank you! My heart really went for Meils when she admitted about not knowing how to be loved (and how this connected to an earlier insight Harry had about her in another chapter?), but I’m also v v proud that she has opened herself up to admit that! Can we please also talk about the contrast between Dickhead Deon 3?) saying she’s kind of beautiful when she’s not sad vs Harry telling her it’s okay to cry while she’s sad and expressing her feelings? You really love to see it, that’s the emotional maturity she deserves. I also see the nicknames are back, including one for Harry as the Flustered Uncle! Do you have a favourite nickname in the fic so far? I’m also v proud of Meils for listening to and acting upon her instincts when Hazel was upset. She doesn’t give herself enough credit for those actions. 4) I love the sweet innocence of how domesticated (I don’t think this is the right word here maybe?) / familiar Harry has become with Meils’ kitchen. He goes from observing her friends in her kitchen to knowing how she takes her tea and where she keeps her wine glasses. He’s also a cheeky bugger but we love him for it. Amelia’s rage purchase makes a return! Again, he’s a cheeky bugger. 5) I feel like Amelia has more confidence at this quiz (or maybe she’s just now comfortable enough?) to bring out the monogrammed pen. That’s not something she would have done before. I’m glad they will be rid of their uni friends, they don’t need that chaotic and childish energy in their lives. Harry saying “let’s go home” made me feel v soft for them, so much growth over one chapter! I hope they replace Thursday pub quizzes with people they actually enjoy, like Hannah (or Hazel!). 👏👏👏

It’s time for my favourite reviewer!! Honestly, these are amazing, thank you!

Amelia the Brave definitely fits for the start of the chapter, I’ll allow it :) Jelly Glass was one of my favourite details this chapter too! Kids have such funny names for things something and they do tend to stick within families. Harry thinking about the difference between being on the inner and outer with Amelia is so lovely, because you know he thought he was already on the inner at the beginning. He’s slowly realised there is so much more to her than anyone could possibly get from a few hours once a week at a pub quiz (that she hates anyway)

I love the depth of the observations you make! You always dig out little details that I’m scared nobody will notice, and yes! there are a few earlier places Harry thinks about Amelia not knowing how to be loved or not being used to it (”he also knows that Amelia just needs time to be taught she's deserving—and in need—of love.” is one that came to mind straight away)

Flustered Unlce! Haha he says this chapter though he’s much better with them than he used to be! Can you imagine the mayhem Gemma might’ve come home to when Finn was a tiny tiny baby or when there was only Hazel? Harry’s had to learn to say no to that little girl or she’d walk all over him.

My favourite Amelia nickname comes in part 10 :) :)

THE PEN. THANK YOU ON THE PEN. She wants to bring out the pen in an earlier quiz but doesn’t because she can’t be bothered dealing with the shit that will come from it. But yes, it was definitely deliberate to have her using her own pen this time - thanks for picking up on that :)

THE FIRE GARDENS

Out in the gardens, there was a small family. A woman, a man, and a little girl, the child playing out with her family, near the small lake.

ASAMI

Come here, my little baby!

(She says with a cute little voice. While the man stands behind her and smiles)

RYOTO

She’s so cute at this age. Just worried about the coming years.

ASAMI

Honey, she’ll be fine. Just follow Justin’s example of raising Yue.

A servant had immediately come.

SERVANT

Your majesty, urgent message.

RYOTO turned to face him, concerned.

RYOTO

What is it?

SERVANT

Your friend. The Time Walker. He’s in trouble… in another universe? The Eternity is on its way.

Turning to ASAMI and his daughter.

RYOTO

My love, I…

ASAMI

Go… I know you love him like a brother. Go save him. We’ll be here, waiting.

Giving her a kiss on her cheek and then picking up his daughter and giving her a big kiss.

RYOTO

I love you both, I’ll be back, I promise!

CUT TO: UNIVERSE 528

PRESENT TIME

INT. THE ETERNITY. THE BRIDGE

The heroes narrowly escaped The Downward and LIBERIUS’ grasp and his Fire Demon army. Now resting from their initial fight against the villains of this new crossover.

CUT TO: THE DOWNWARD. THE THRONE

In fits of rage LIBERIUS, slashed and destroyed his own soldiers with his sword of flame. Slicing through their stone made bodies, absorbing the fire within them.

LIBERIUS

THEY ESCAPED!

Teleporting behind him an unknown figure arrived. LIBERIUS was familiar with who he is.

LIBERIUS

Valerin...

Turning toward this VALERIN... In view... he saw his appearance. Taking on the appearance of a scraggy man with long, thin limbs, a thin neck, and an angular face. He has black hair in a mop-top style with V-shaped bangs and devil-horns rising over the ears to points slightly above the top of his head. He has black eye shadow around his eyes appearing as He has arched eyebrows and sideburns that taper to a point.

His clothes are formal, and predominantly black but include a white shirt with a tall, stiff collar. Along with a cloak with red trims, attached to his shoulder.

VALERIN

Liberius. Long time no see.

His facial expression was blank and lacked emotion.

LIBERIUS

I could say the same to you. Where have you been?

VALERIN

Plotting here and there. Watching from my dimension. Oh... AND SEEING YOU FAIL!

His eyes turned bright red in his fit of rage. His face altered by his anger and the hue of his skin turning blue.

The ground shook and roars of thunder were heard. LIBERIUS had taken a step as his powers were not matched with a Chaos Lord. But had the guts to take back to one.

LIBERIUS

I don’t see you lending a hand in all of this?! YOU A CHAOS LORD!

VALERIN

Chaos takes time... (He said each word slowly, one by one) My pantheon... my FAMILY OF CHAOS CREATORS WERE TRAPPED! AND IMPRISONED IN STONE BY THE TIME WALKER!

His alter face grew worse, as he appeared more demonic-looking. Breathing hard, he releases every breath to compose himself. His face reverting back to normal.

LIBERIUS

And you will have that Valerin... you gave me the power to be a god! Now I return the favor. We will both have revenge on those who wronged us. Look what I’ve created!

LIBERIUS showed VALERIN the DESTROYER.

VALERIN

Is that, who I think it is?

LIBERIUS

Yes, The Savior but I call this one the Destroyer.

VALERIN

Very satisfying.

VALERIN simply nodded and grinned.

VALERIN

Let’s give you and your army an upgrade.

He summoned a crimson fire in his hand. Chaos energy ready in his hand.

CUT TO: INT. EDITH’S HOUSE. LIVING ROOM.

Their small battle in The Downward may have won them their lives, but the war was still coming. It was rest and planning for their unexpected war... the heroes were back in their normal clothing. JUSTIN having been bruised and slightly burned from the fight. His stomach was getting wrapped in bandages by EDITH. He winces as the bandage wraps moved and tightened.

EDITH

You’ll be fine.

JUSTIN laughs a little, to handle the pain. She pats his hand and hands him his shirt.

VIOLET stood near CLEMENTINE... she was here, her sister, right in front her once more.

VIOLET

Okay, we’re safe now... how are you back?

CLEMENTINE

The moment Justin erased my memories from the last battle... he came back and got me. Gave me back everything. He also informed me that my little sister is marrying a beautiful girl.

She got a little cheeky with her comment. VIOLET smiled at her comment, looking over to EDITH while helping bandage JUSTIN.

VIOLET

Yeah, she’s really something else.

CLEMENTINE

Aw! My sister’s marrying her true love!

VIOLET

Shut up!

CLEMENTINE hugs her in order to hide her embarrassed face.

RYOTO was dressed normal and walked in.

RYOTO

Hey buddy.

JUSTIN standing up but winces from the pain being ached.

JUSTIN

Hey, bud! I can’t believe you showed up.

RYOTO

I couldn’t just leave my little brother.

JUSTIN

I’m older than you, you do remember that right?

RYOTO

Yeah, but you act like you’re still a kid.

JUSTIN

You’re an idiot.

They both laughed.

JUSTIN (cont’d)

How’s Asami?

RYOTO

Doing great, and your goddaughter...

JUSTIN was shocked

JUSTIN

No way... Are you serious?!

RYOTO nodded, JUSTIN hugs his big brother but groans in pain.

JUSTIN (cont’d)

Congrats bud! What’s her name?

RYOTO

Kaori

JUSTIN

Perfect.

EDITH enters the conversation,

EDITH

You gonna introduce us to your friend from your universe?

She smiled with excitement.

JUSTIN

Guys this is one of my closest friends from my universe. Prince Ryoto Hotaru of the Fire Kingdom of the planet Sakura.

RYOTO bows,

RYOTO

An honor to meet you all. Justin has told me about you all.

He looked at each one and gave one a smile.

The Lost Fire, Clementine. The Ice Warrior, Violet. The Dark Angel, Noemi. And The Savior, Edith.

EDITH

Are you a samurai?! I’ve read about Samurai warriors in the archives of the old world. ARE YOU ONE?!

She excitedly asked.

RYOTO

Yes, I am.

Starstruck, her eyes widened.

EDITH

AWESOME!

NOEMI

You’re really warriors of honor?!

RYOTO

Of course, we have a code of honor.

VIOLET

Do you have special weapons?! I love weapons!

RYOTO

I can see that, I think I’ll show you my arsenal later.

JUSTIN

Ok, sorry to interrupt but let’s focus a little. We have to find a way to stop Liberus.

EDITH

Maybe the Fates have healed by now. We should go to the Temple.

JUSTIN

Good idea. Edith takes Clem and Vi. Noemi, Argento go do some research find any research on magics that can trap him or help with the banishment. Berry and Peri... just rest for now, thank you for your help.

CUT TO: TEMPLE OF THE FATES.

EDITH, CLEMENTINE, VIOLET had gone to the temple.

EDITH

Fates?

A flash of light teleports them to THE REALM OF FATES.

FOX in their shadow form and mask floating about.

FOX

Hello Nox... (Noticing CLEMENTINE in the room he freaks out) Cremite?! HOW?! TIME WALKER?! WHERE IS HE?!

EDITH

Fox calm down.

FOX

Ms. Nox, I’m sure you’re quite aware that anachronistic beings of the past are not allowed within the present time.

(They say with such passive-aggressive tone)

CLEMENTINE

Still the same as ever, aren’t you Fox?

FOX

Ms. Cremite, a very very long time. May you rest in peace once you’ve been returned your proper moment of taking. Not to be so rude but foreign presences like the Time Walker and yourself from the past are highly against our universal laws.

CLEMENTINE

Sorry to disappoint you. I was once a Savior.

FOX

That you were. Moving on, your mission to save Neydolya was a success.

EDITH

Yes, we blocked the portal entrance to the Downward. But we know it won’t hold on for long.

FOX

Good.

EDITH

He also stole some Creation Thread...

FOX

WHAT?!

EDITH

There’s an army waiting for us in the Downward.

FOX

Then you all must hurry, Owl, Cat and I have prepared a sealing thread for you. Create our symbol and you shall lock the doors of the Downward forever. You must hurry.

Sent away in a flash of light. The 3 ladies immediately run

Meanwhile...

CUT TO: EDITH’S HOUSE

JUSTIN, RYOTO, BERRY, and PERIWINKLE were back to back. JUSTIN and RYOTO holding their swords BERRY armored up and ready to fight. PERI with her wand and ready to create storms.

LIBERIUS and his army of Fire Demons stood and surrounded.

LIBERIUS

Uh oh. (He laughs maniacally)

In a flash of purple lightning, standing next to him. VALERIN an evil smile on his face.

VALERIN

Long time no see. Time Walker.

JUSTIN was in shock

JUSTIN

It can’t be!

thanks anon, although i think scientifically speaking, you are actually the best so we may have to agree to disagree….

anyway, let’s get onto the absolute delight that is jake debrusk, shall we?

Note: people seem to like em, so i’m currently taking requests for these posts! see here for more information, and a list of the ones i’ve done thus far :)

i thought we should kick this off with the image i feel summarises jake the best. the big oreo thing (what actually is it????), his big and slightly goofy grin, and his stupid backwards hat. i would, however, like to enquire further about the ‘home’ print hanging on the wall. is jake secretly a white suburban mom? or is that at his parents house or something? answers please

he’s always on a sugar rush from all the oreos and whipped cream, which leads to him doing random shit like this. JD got the moves. every time i see this gif there’s a split second where i think he’s about to dab and my soul leaves my body

oh my gosh. take a look at this very tiny, very young, and very blond jake.

Left Behind - Part 4

Summary: Newt, Frypan, Thomas, and the reader go on a journey to find Minho and are saved by Brenda and Jorge after getting into a rather sticky situation. After that, they find someone they never thought they would see again.

Pairing: Newt x Reader

Word Count: 1572

Warnings: Spoilers for The Death Cure movie, if that’s even still a thing??

A/N: Ahhhhh I haven’t made a new imagine in forever. I’m still v emotional about TDC but like... who’s not?? Anyways, I’m thinking of continuing this story until the end of the movie, so yeah!!!

You and Newt got into the back and Thomas got into the passenger seat. You drove for a while before reaching a sign that said:

MANDATORY INFECTION CHECK

2 MILES AHEAD

ALL VEHICLES MUST STOP. NON-COMPLIANCE WILL RESULT IN LETHAL ACTION.

Once you reached where the infection check was, which was marked by a sign, you stopped and got out of the car. In front of you was a tunnel, which was so dark you couldn’t tell what was inside.

“You want us to go in there?” Newt pointed to the dark tunnel.

Thomas pulled out the map and started looking at it.

“I don’t want to come across as too negative, but if I was a Crank, that would be exactly where I would be.”

“I don’t think we have much of a choice,” Thomas said.

You all looked at the tunnel, judging it for a second.

“Alright, I get shotgun.” Newt walked back to the car and you, Thomas, and Frypan shared a look before following him back into the car.

You drove through the tunnel, only the headlights of the car and the small lights on the side of the tunnel illuminating your way.

“Here we go,” Frypan said while maneuvering the car around other parked cars in the tunnel.

“Just take it nice and slow.” Newt shined a light for Frypan.

“Woah,” you said upon seeing the Crank in the tunnel.

“It’s okay, it’s just one. Take it slow, go around him. We’ll be fine.”

“Take it slow. Take it slow.” Frypan turned around and readied his hands at the wheel.

Newt rolled his window up.

You leaned back into your seat and looked to Thomas, but the woman, no Crank, outside the window behind him took your attention. You jumped and everybody else looked to see what was going on and jumped too.

“Help me,” The Crank outside pleaded, looking around. “Please.”

You heard banging on your window and whipped your head around to see a Crank with wide, crazy eyes looking inside.

Many more cranks started to slam their hands on the car as well.

“We gotta go,” Thomas said.

“Just go!” You screamed.

“Hold on!” Frypan pushed on the accelerator, causing the car to launch forward. A Crank stood in front of the car, and when you hit him, he hung onto the front. The Crank started to bang on the window and the window started to crack.

Frypan swerved around, unable to see because of the Crank and tried to get it off.

Frypan finally was able to get the Crank off of the car, and just when everything seemed to be okay again, Frypan hit something and the car was thrown over.

You felt pain in your arm. You looked down to see what happened and saw a deep wound, with blood surrounding it. You groaned in pain while Thomas, Newt, and Frypan were coughing.

“Cover your eyes,” Thomas ordered and kicked the window out.

Thomas managed to get himself out, but was not able to get Frypan’s door open and told him to go around.

Newt managed to get his door open and tumbled out.

“Kick my window out,” You told Thomas.

He nodded, kicked it, and it broke. You tumbled out just like Newt and cradled your arm.

You looked up and saw a Crank coming toward you.

“Frypan, I think we got to move, now!” Thomas yelled.

Frypan got a gun from out of the car and shot the Crank.

“Nice job,” You told him, patting him on the shoulder with your good arm.

“Thanks.”

You all then heard the sound of more Cranks, and saw them running towards you.

You, Thomas, and Newt get behind Frypan so he can clearly shoot the Cranks.

You all ran away from those Cranks, but you heard the sound of more Cranks coming from the way you were running to.

“Watch out.”

“Fry, you got ‘em?” Thomas asked.

“This way, this way!” Thomas turned, and Frypan shot a few on the other side.

Thomas turned again and Frypan tried to shoot, but was met with the sound of clicking.

“I’m out!”

“Shit.”

Through all of the noise coming from the Cranks, you heard a car coming. The car ran over a few Cranks before coming to a stop before you.

“Get in,” Brenda told you and stood up and started shooting the Cranks.

You, Thomas, Frypan, and Newt climbed in the back.

“Go!” Brenda yelled.

The car started moving again, out of the tunnel.

“I’m impressed,” Jorge said. “You guys almost lasted a full day.”

“Are you alright?” Newt asked, looking at the arm you were clutching.

You nodded and let go of your arm to not raise more suspicion.

Brenda turned around in her seat to look at Thomas and she shook her head.

“Sorry, I didn’t want to bring you guys into this.”

“Aye, I think what he’s trying to say is thanks for saving us.”

“You’re welcome,” Brenda said.

“Don’t get your hopes up. That checkpoint back there, that was the city’s last defense. If that’s overrun, chances are the city is too.”

“Yeah… unless they’ve figured out another way to keep the Cranks out.” Newt looked out the window at the city.

Everybody, including you, looked out at the city as well. Jorge stopped the car and you all got out.

The city was huge. The middle of the city seemed to be in great shape, while the outskirts were desolate.

“Funny. It’s been three years trapped behind walls tryin’ break out and now we wanna break back in,” Newt said while looking at the city.

“Yeah, it’s hilarious,” Frypan added from his position in the car.

“Jorge, how do we get in?” Thomas looked at Jorge and asked him.

“Don’t look at me, hermano. Those walls look new. I guess that’s WICKED’s answer for everything.”

“Well, we’re not gonna figure it out from here. Let’s go.” Brenda walked towards the car and got back in.

Jorge sighed and got into the car.

Thomas walked forward and continued to stare at the city, though. You shared a look with Newt, who nodded his head. You understood what he meant and got into the car to leave Thomas and Newt alone for a minute.

They spoke for a moment before both getting back into the car, and you continued on our journey.

You had gotten out of the car a while ago and were now walking the streets of the city.

There were many people walking around and talking, but you managed to stick together and finally reach the front entrance WICKED facility.

Many people were throwing things and rattling the fence, wanting to get inside.

You finally reached the front before Newt came up behind you. “Hey, guys, we gotta go now.” He redirected everybody’s attention to the men in masks that seemed to have their eyes trained on the group.

Suddenly, a loud noise came from the facility, cutting the people off from their yelling and everybody turned their heads to look at it.

A whirring noise started and contraptions that looked like huge security cameras on the facility turned to face the crowd. Many people started to run, but you stayed, until a huge explosion went off close to the fence. You, Thomas, Newt, Frypan, Brenda, and Jorge turned, crouched, covered your heads, and started running.

Other smaller explosions started to go off, and bodies flew through the air. You made a turn through a small alleyway that led to a bigger area. You saw Newt run into somebody but was cut off from looking at him because you ran into somebody. You felt them grab your shirt and pull you somewhere.

“Newt!” You yelled. He looked over to you and you held out a hand, which he held out one of his hands to. Your fingers brushed before you were pulled forcefully into a van, screaming the whole way.

In the van was Thomas and Brenda. You all sat along one part of the van, looking at the people who took you while they stared at you.

It was a short drive before you heard a banging on the hatchback of the van. The hatchback was opened and you, Thomas, and Brenda got out.

You heard yelling and grunts coming from the other van that pulled up with a screech. The two doors on the back of that van opened, and a man came flying out. Soon after, Jorge crouched in front of him and grabbed onto the collar of the man’s shirt and started punching him.

You, Thomas, and Brenda rushed forward to stop Jorge from punching the man before you and Thomas were stopped by the other people. One of the people in a mask pointed their gun at you and you held up your hands in surrender while you met the eyes of Newt. Brenda calmed down Jorge.

“Everybody relax. We’re all on the same side as you,” one of the men said.

“What do you mean ‘same side’? Who the hell are you?” Thomas asked.

Once the man holding you at gunpoint put down his gun, you rushed over to Newt and gave him a hug. You both looked to see who this mysterious man was.

The man pulled off his mask and revealed himself to be Gally.

“Hey Greenie,” he said, as if it was one of the most casual things ever.
