hi guys have some RANDOM SOUKOKU HEADCANNONS because i’m procrastinating my holiday homework lol (like i genuinely can’t bring myself to do it so i’ll just uh, cram it all before school actually starts)

contrary to popular belief, dazai is actually the good cook between the two of them :) chuuya burned down the entire kitchen once when he tried to make rice, so dazai removed his kitchen-entering privileges. dazai can actually cook well, he just enjoys seeing the shocked/scared faces of the people he serves his food to when he makes it nasty

dazai replaced their couch with a foldable couch bed because whenever he makes chuuya mad, he gets sent to sleep on the couch, and their old one was uncomfortable and not big enough for his lanky ass legs

chuuya once thought dazai was a burglar when he was drunk and smacked him in the face with a frying pan, which broke dazai’s nose. he (chuuya) cried while apologising when he sobered up

they have movie marathon nights, except they speedrun movies separately and fight to see how many more movies they can watch than the other before the clock strikes 7:00am and dazai has to go to work

when dazai did the “that’s what i love about you!” thing to chuuya when they were younger, chuuya actually wanted to punch dazai because he was so flustered. he actually went back to his room to punch his pillow and scream into it about how much he liked dazai back and how he messed up his response

chuuya likes it when dazai drives, because it’s so adrenaline inducing and it’s funny to see the looks on civilian’s faces when they speed pass them and almost crash into the lamp post

dazai’s home wallpaper is a picture of chuuya drooling in his sleep, and chuuya’s one is of dazai screaming and running away from a dog

i feel like they would both be really good at styling hair and doing makeup from kouyou’s lessons and all the infiltration missions they have to go on... although, i can picture chuuya trying to pry a bite of lipstick out of dazai’s mouth because he read the contents and tried to commit suicide by eating it lol

they have a built in wine cellar in their house (inspo from my aunt’s house lol. she has a fucking wine cellar in there stock full of expensive alcohol and there’s even a catalogue) and it’s super super cold. they have two silly fuzzy pairs of slippers, one is crab designed and the other is slug designed lol

i think he likes the funny atmosphere of everyone kinda messing up whenever they’re put on the spot to speak in class

like he just enjoys sports so anything that relates to that he finds really interesting

he likes the helping people aspect of sports med

and i’m in sports med as well which is actually so fun ngl

he eats with that

always crushes tests

i think he really studies for tests and actually tries

which allows him to get good grades🤓☝️

but he couldn’t care less abt classes he doesn’t like

bc of this, his fave classes are whatever he has the most friends in

other than that he thinks all classes are terrible and they all feel like years

math guy when he actually understands the concept

but the second things get hard he just gives up

or fights with other kids but we don’t talk abt that

any class where he can mess with the teacher

like either the teacher is chill and jokes around with him

OR the teacher actually sucks and two just makes them even more mad

lives for class laughter

like soda he enjoys more participation based classes, less the actual content

somehow he always gets sat in the desk right next to the teachers desk so they can keep an eye on him

barely ever gets to sit next to his friends for obvious reasons LMAO

obviously auto mechanic if the school offers it

otherwise he gives a science kid

like biology, physics, anatomy, stuff like that

his brain is just the type to get it

so those classes are barely hard for him

which is SO LUCKY

he the type to just go off about some technical concept the class is going over and explain it perfectly to his friend who needs help and then make a your mom joke the next minute

5/10 i hate physics and i hate how he’d be better at it than me

mike can be mean sometimes. and needy. he’s like a stupid cat, will ignore you if it’s something he needs to do but won’t let you rest if he decides he wants your attention in the middle of a task.

“psst — hello? earth to y/n?” he’s snapping his fingers in your face and you swear to god if you weren’t so enraptured by your homework you’d kill him, have half a mind to glare up at him and let him know that ‘do it again and you’re a dead man, wheeler’.

but you’re tired, and you really want to finish this stupid paper because it’s not like you enjoyed ignoring your boyfriend for math, so you simply shake your head and swat his fingers away with a mumbled, “m’busy, come back later.”

he sulks at first, falls back and perches on your bed, watching you. you can see his face through the mirror and he’s got the most pouty look on his face, it almost makes you break — but you avert your eyes anyway, more on the principle at this point than anything else.

he huffs, trying out a multitude of different tactics to make you break: tapping you, hovering, sighing at an increasingly loud volume. none of it works, and it really only takes ten minutes for him to get fed up and decides enough is enough.

he strides towards you, long legs crossing your room in three steps. you don’t pay attention at first, thinking he’s just going to annoy you again, and you’re already getting ready to deliver a biting reply when you feel long fingers grip your chin, strong enough to make your lips pout. your head gets turned, neck having to crane up to look at him, and you’re met with almost narrowed brown eyes.

“i think you need to take a break. yeah?”

you nod, easily folding under his glare. you don’t get much homework done that day.
