Man I know I've sort of already floated this, but Adorpia appeals to me as a niche ship, not because they would be so GOOD and WHOLESOME together, but because they would enable each other's worst, most self-destructive impulses.

Adora would 'protect' Scorpia from everything that makes her sad or uncertain or uncomfortable - everything challenging - to the point of immobilization and suffocation; leving Scorpia to ossify in her shell of fantasy and denial.

Scorpia would 'support' Adora by reinforcing each and every one of her "I am special, I am The Only One Who Can Do This" self-martyring impulses, cheering Adora on as she shreds herself to pieces.

They would do these things with the full force of their considerable personalities, and make each other miserable, and then double down, because they think the only problem is that they just aren't trying hard enough.

Ship Opinion Bingo: Adora and Scorpia

It's not the right ship bingo for them T_T

they are a very funny and cute pairing and this ship chart is for things a bit more intense so i wasnt able to fill out much of it

adora and scorpia are a hysterical duo, they are constantly bickering and they have this sort of rivalry over catra, rather, scorpia is INSANELY JEALOUS of how much closer adora is to catra than she is... scorpia tries SO HARD and adora just WALKS AWAY and still catra cares more about adora!!!

it's funny but it's also kind of heartbreaking because scorpia doesn't realise that there's nothing she can do to win catra's love

adora and scorpia as a couple could be great at looking out for each other, "NOBODY hurts my strong tall wife" x2. They are both soldiers who would throw themselves in front of a bullet for anyone, there is a degree of solidarity here, and I'm pretty sure they're both neurodivergent.
