AAAAAA im so so sorry i could have sworn i answered this but i guess i didnt??? i promise i didnt mean to leave this in the inbox this long on purpose i think i must have lost track of stuff </3 regardless, i hope you enjoy! admin must admit, asides from presents and the christmas tree, he doesnt do many holiday activities so... admin is underqualified for this but hes still gonna try! a lot of the character segments intertwine in this btw! like not in a "similar idea" thing but in a "they are actually overlapping and interacting with one another" way so !! side note unrelated to the post eheheheh the second batch of macarons have been piped! theyre now on the counter set out to dry, and ive got my ganaches out to get to room temperature so i can whip em up into a frosting :3

CAINE:

oh i just know that caine would lean hard into holiday stuff, plus i think he has the best sense of time in the digital world out of everyone.. plus he just seems like the kind of guy to celebrate all sorts of holidays, not just christmas! year round stuff, you know? not just winter... so you guys would likely team up and totally deck out the grounds to match the holiday spirit! sure caine on his own already puts in way too much effort decorating everything, he even makes it snow! but with you around he cranks it up to 11! lets just hope there arent any scrooges around, though.... also prepare yourself because he would definitely find a way to have christmas music play on loop in the background... somewhere... ambient music but its festive songs... i think caine is also the one responsible for most of the presents, since he can basically get most things with just a flick of his wrist! ooooo perhaps a date (platonic or romantic! up to you!) where you guys wrap the gifts together!

POMNI:

funny enough, while i usually think pomni would SUCK at cooking, i think she can make a mean hot coco. granted, hot coco and/or hot chocolate arent the hardest things to make, but... i dont know, its just different when she makes it... (recommendation from the admin, add a bit of cinnamon or nutmeg to your hot coco its a game changer frfr, this goes for a lot of chocolate stuff, actually. its like the chocolate-coffee effect but like. makes a different flavor profile. add a bit of nutmeg to your chocolate chip goodies. rn.)

anyways! pomni always keeps you supplied with hot coco, and honestly it benefits you both! keeps you nice and warm, plus its delicious; and it gives pomni something to do... i mean, its christmas... surely she can take it easy from trying to find the exit... just for the season... helps with her anxiety about the whole situation, you know? making digital food sure is weird, though...

RAGATHA:

as mentioned in gangles part, she joins you and gangle in helping making a skirt for the tree! keeping up with the idea of sewing things, i think she would also make stockings for everyone; leaving most of them blank so everyone can customize them however they like... but you and her get together to decorate your own together and just !! i just think thats sweet! depending on how soon caine starts putting the christmas stuff around, you and her might be able to make some ugly sweaters for yourselves! thats a christmas thing, right? oooo and they match.... OOOO YOU GUYS MAKE AN EXTRA LONG SCARF FOR YOU GUYS TO SHARE!!!! rolls around... she makes you mittens so you can go mess around in the snow caine put all over the grounds

JAX:

snowball fight. and i mean really intense once. in fact it wouldnt be too much of a stress to call it a snowball WAR! honestly jax might just be the type to put rocks in his snowballs.... but because this is meant to be nice and sweet, he wont... just this once, and because he feels TOO mean crushing your holiday spirit (even if your digital body would quickly recover from the possible injury...)

you guys make forts and go absolutely ham. the stuff ragatha had made for the two of you! i mean sure you guys cant succumb to hypothermia, buuuuuuuuuut being really painfully cold still sucks... but the sweaters help you guys stay out for longer to play! and you can perhaps ask pomni to make some hot coco

ooo perhaps you convince jax to make snow angels and snowmen with you... though, i think jax would make the snowmen purposefully unappealing... but maybe you think hes actually trying his best... oh you jolly little thing..

KINGER:

okay so i admit this one might be a stretch and its mostly because his robe already has the fur and he gives off grandpa energy (even though hes only 48 but hey some grandpas become grandpas young) but imagine somehow someway he dresses up as santa (and i say that loosely, his robe turns red and the fur turns a plain white), bonus if he wears a hat to tie in the entire look. while caine is the one getting the gifts and wrapping them, i like to think kinger would ask to be the one to put them under the tree at an ungodly hour. sweet man. chews

as for an interaction with the reader... hmm.. hes the last character im writing, everyone else already has their parts done... the one christmas activity i can think of that hasnt been taken yet is baking! honestly i can see him being a decent chef! maybe its the dad/granddad energy speaking to me again... perhaps its the admin projecting... buuuut imagine you two make shaped cookies togehter; stars, candy canes, trees, bells, ect... and you ice them together! sure they may not be the prettiest or look the most professional; but does that really matter when youre having fun? they still taste delicious!

ZOOBLE:

ok i get it, i tend to lean hard into the zooble being negative and/or unimpressed with things a liiiiiiiiittle too often, but again zooble doesnt strike me as the type to enjoy most holidays. they seem more of a halloween person to me, you know? though, i think that they would switch out their antennae for ones that resemble antlers more... or if they dont have those, they string lights up on them! all for you, just because they know how excited the holiday makes you. they dont care about many things, but they care about you... and if it means doing (harmless) things they normally wouldnt do, then so be it! dont expect them to get in on many holiday activities, though...

GANGLE:

you and her make decorations for the grounds and the giant digital tree caine put in the main common area! handmade ornaments, paper stars and snowflakes, things like that! you and gangle stay up take cutting each thing, applying the colors and the glitter and any small details.... dozens of times.... because caine chose a tree that was way too big than it needed to be.... oh you might have to have gangle on your shoulders so she can reach the higher points of the tree! sits and thinks.... ooouuuuuuuuugh you guys make a skirt for the tree together with the help of ragatha... little group activity... sobs...

ELYSIUM | NCT DREAM x Reader

Summary: What do you get when five demigods are sent to the human realm as punishment for wreaking havoc on Olympus? Chaos. And a whole lot of trouble the mundane world is probably not ready to face, ever.

A/N: from the vaults. This is only a writing exercise piece for me because I need a quick refresh. Note: This is not based on Percy Jackson. I have personally not read any of the books but I admit there are similarities on some of the concepts (mainly the concept of a school/camp for demigods). Barely proofread so excuse any mistakes.

"Hey, have you heard the news?"

A grunt was the only response your best friend, Yangyang, got out of you as your eyes remained plastered on the screen of your phone. The day was too hot for you to bother about any gossip, so you continued doing your mindless scrolling through cat reels on your feed.

"Cinnamon honey rolls are back at the cafeteria?" You asked flatly, your thumb swiping lazily from one video to the next. The boy finally slumped on the bean bag next to you and ran a hand through his hair.

"No. That's great news, but it's bigger than that."

You shrugged in disinterest as you adjusted on your seat to try and find a more comfortable position. The Journalism club room is vacant as usual so you don't have to worry about taking up space, but goddamn the school really needs to stop cutting funds for air conditioning for dying clubs like yours. Unable to find a pleasant enough position in the sweltering heat, you finally grunted in frustration and rose from the floor so you could throw open the nearest window.

The moment you did, the loud gaggle of voices outside floated straight up to your third floor window. Frowning, you leaned over a bit to try and peer at the commotion happening in front of the school's doors. Throngs of students were standing there, whispering in excited voices as if they were waiting for something.

"What the hell is going on there?" You asked, curious, as you squinted at the crowd. Yangyang, upon catching the same noise, also stood up and joined you over to your spot.

"That's the news I was talking about. School admin just made the announcement, but we're getting five new students today."

You raised a brow at him, still confused at how this could be a big deal.

"Okay...? We get new students almost every month. How is this—"

"Not half-bloods straight from Olympus though, I don't think."

The rest of your words got stuck in your throat. Eyes rounding, you gave him a look of disbelief as you processed what he just said. Rosewood Academy is known to be the hidden training camp-cum-shelter for half-bloods in this side of the world, but it's never really been a place for the children of the big honchos way up in Olympus. No, those golden pearly gates are meant only for the direct heirs of the twelve gods, which means...

"You're shitting me... There is no way those elitists could come here. They hate the mortal world."

The last word barely left your lips when a sudden flash of light suddenly drowned everything in blinding radiance. It only lasted for a second, and by the time you looked back at the grounds below, the tunnel of beam which seemed to have come straight from the skies had already dispersed its last glow. What's left in the spot it hit, however, are five boys wearing various expressions ranging from boredom to blatant irritation.

"Your father really couldn't have given us a less flashy entrance, huh, hyung?" A dark haired boy murmured under his breath as his hooded eyes swept over the crowd of people crowding the entrance of the graying manor in front of them. His expression was calm, but his gaze alone was enough to make the gossiping students stumble back and disperse into different directions like scared kittens. He sighed, already tired, and buried his hands in the pockets of his pants.

"Now, now Jeno. You should be thankful to Uncle Z for giving us a ride. My Mommy dear wanted to drop me off here by having a gigantic owl fly me over," the boy standing next to him quipped, his expression more amused as he also observed the new place. He has lighter brown hair swept back over his perfect forehead, revealing boyish features that almost stood in stark contrast to the playful light in his eyes.

"You kinda deserve it. It was because of you we were thrown into this place anyway," a silver-haired young man shot the boy an irritated look before he finally took the first step towards the front steps of the academy. The way the rays of the sun touched his features made his beauty standout almost painfully in the starkness of the place. He looked ethereal, even with the ever so subtle displeased look masking his expression as he looked around. "Why does it smell so strange here...?"

"That's the stench of Haechan's stupidity. I just need a fucking air conditioner. It's so hot," another dark haired boy grumbled beside him, his almost feminine-like features in complete contrast to the irritated expression he was wearing. His close-cropped black hair gave him a different, almost chaotic edge despite the gracefulness of his form. He turned around now to the last member of their group who has remained silently standing on his spot, his eyes set on the visage of the academy.

"Mark-hyung. What now?"

A moment passed before the boy in question finally reacted. With a slight sigh, he finally nodded towards the place.

"I guess we stay here until our parents forgive us. They didn't give me anything, just that they already told the headmaster of this place that we're coming. I guess we need to find him."

He had barely taken a step when his wandering gaze suddenly stopped as they clashed with someone from one of the rooms above the school. A pair of brown eyes stared at him, their expression clear, but somehow unreadable at the same time.

"You said you wanted to keep our newspaper club from closing, right? Well, that's your golden ticket right there," Yangyang said beside you, oblivious of how you froze on your spot when your eyes met the boy's stare below. For some reason, you can't tear your eyes off of him and the others with him, but that still didn't stop you from hearing every word your best friend said.

"Jaemin Na, son of Aphrodite, Haechan Lee, son of Athena, Renjun Huang, child of Ares, Jeno Lee, heir of Hades, and Mark Lee, son of Zeus. You put those five in the cover story darling, and I'm sure we'll get that air conditioner..."

"And then some more."

We made cinnamon rolls as part of consumer science this week.

I’m trying to be super chill about homeschool this year. They do math and reading every day. They are practicing their instruments nearly every day. We are working other things in like science projects, a research paper, anatomy, and baking. I can’t do it all and neither can they. They are in THREE schools daily. It’s nuts!

DH has a job interview next week. Looks like he may also get offered a job in our school district that they are in the process of creating. We are talking about him going back to school to get his teaching license so he can have a legit career that also works for our family. He has subbed every day this week and the admin office is now just calling and requesting him which is super helpful as he doesn’t have to wait for a notification saying that there is a sub job available, and then have to respond in the middle of the night in order to have work the next day.

About Nathan:

•Basic infos, he’s 17, about Kyle’s age— just a month or two older than him.

•Of Brazilian descent but has Chilean blood in him.

•Full name is Nathaniel Frederick Bernadez.

•Has undiagnosed ADHD.

•He has an older sister Lucille (basically Luna from OnC but she’s more normal about CJ than her canon counterpart). They both fan about On Command together.

•Transgender FtM and biromantic with a preferable lean for guys. (Pronouns He/they/dusk)

•Was scared of EteleD shitless, so much that he basically cut ties with Kyle for taking it for a prank, and told everyone on school about it, which lead to them getting bullied for 9 years straight.

Kyle forgives him for it but they’ve made it clear they don’t want anything to do with him for the timebeing. The closest they get to interact is just small talk and hello’s.

Kyle did promise he’d open up to him in the future, he is just not ready to see him as of current.

•Has a crush on Will but is kinda scared to ask him out because of his own insecurities and also since Will’s already seeing someone else at the moment.

•Keeps a heart-shaped locket at all times on himself— a gift from his grandmother, before she passed.

The locket contains a photo of her holding a newborn Nathan, with Kyle’s mom beside them. That’s how he and Kyle knew each other since their birth.

•He is the man that drinks milk before cereal and then eats the cereal dry /j

•Has that friendship-rivalry-thing with Sam as a joke because they used to hate each other in the past, but now are getting along pretty well.

•Basically the cool dad of the group. Also he’s the second tallest after Dan.

About Will:

•He’s 16— only 25 days younger than Sam.

•Of Belgian origin.

•Has three siblings and a cousin— basically the same people Rudolph (OyM) is related to

•Has never been close with their parents for unknown reasons, which means he and his younger sister was practically raised by their 2 older siblings in their absence.

•Their real name is actually Rudolph Forgers, but for confidentiality reasons had to psuedofy himself, so he currently goes by William Roberts.

•Currently figuring out their gender identity but knows they’re omnisexual. (Pronouns they/ey/he/she/rex)

•Does have a big crush on Nathan, but is scared they’d get rejected so they instead tone themselves and pretend he’s crushing on Cooper.

•He used to be jealous of Sam since Middle School because she was better than him in almost everything, and even had a loving mom. It never went beyond taunting and small shoving, though.

They’ve since sorted themselves out and are cool buddies.

•Looks abrasive and brash, but is a sweetheart who’d give their life to protect anybody dear to him.

•Only a tad bit shorter than Dan and Nathan, but taller than Sam, Cooper and and Kyle combined.

•Small fact: They’ve got little fangs. It’s a birth gene.

Happy Nice Ask Week! My question for everyone is: What’s your favorite meal to make OR what’s one thing you’d like to learn how to make in 2024?

you know, I used to really love cooking and spending Sunday afternoons with something delicious bubbling away on the stove. I've lost my cooking mojo of late though something something two kids, work, life admin, trying to do and be all the things

ANYWAY, when I used to cook a lot, I loved making Bill Granger's (RIP) coq au vin (served with sourdough and buttered green beans), or pork carnitas (with home made flour tortillas and a bunch of sides) or just a really great bolognese. And baking, oh my god, I loved to bake - all kinds of cakes, brownies, cinnamon rolls. I used to try new recipes all the time. These days I generally only bake my kids' birthday cakes and supervise my eldest kiddo if she decides she wants to bake something.

I think instead of learning to make something new in 2024, I want to try and rediscover my love of cooking and baking again.

The way Eret talks about the lore discord working behind the scenes is NOT normal or particularly helpful! She said back in last November that the discord has a lore channel that goes inactive most of the time because people plan lore exclusively in DMs and don't share it, that canon is decided largely by SBI, Discduo, Bench Trio, and anyone who tops 100k viewers on a stream even if smaller ccs have established lore they've done for longer that contradicts how things work. Like yes getting 40 people to do the things without issues is like wrangling cats but FUCK man a 40 person RP where people just add other people's characters into backstory without their knowledge let alone consent is NOT cool and Dream was! The server owner! And the guy with the biggest audience! And what he did was NOT management at ALL since that never rlly seemed to resolve???

like yes, the finale happened but we can still criticize dreams' ability to fuck up stuff. I hate the fact that smaller ccs will try to build up good lore but no one takes it seriously bc they don’t have a big enough audience. Other ccs will straight up ignore them, contradict them, ruin their storylines, etc for fun or bc they simply don’t care enough to ask. 

Like Ponk, Hannah, Eret, etc. Or like the egg stuff! The Eggpire arc was genuinely so cool but bigger ccs just didn’t participate in it much.   You could argue that at the start, stuff wasn’t scripted so it would’ve been hard to adapt to that for dream, especially with the number of people on the smp. But like guess what! He’s the one that added that many people, it’s his fault. If he couldn’t handle it he should’ve not added more people to the smp every time he felt like it was dying or when he got himself into another controversy to distract the stans.

As the admin, as the owner of the server, as the owner of the discord server as well, he is responsible for that stuff. He could’ve asked for help and asked if others had more experience with stuff like this. He could have discussed this with the members of the smp to see what kind of system would work the best. Hell, he could’ve fucking, dmed people like Grian or MumboJumbo and asked them how they plan lore in the smps they are in. 

But he didn’t. He brought himself into that situation, he could’ve easily asked for help, and it was an easy thing to fix. Whether it’s an ego thing, an anxiety thing, or if he just could not be bothered to put in the effort, idk. What I do know is that pushing the blame on the smaller ccs that have been ignored by others is just weird.

Dream isn’t an uwu perfect cinnamon roll and he is a grown-ass man that should own up to his own mistakes sometimes. He does not need to be babied and he deserves the criticism he gets.

Evelyn Elise Wylde - yes her initials are EEW - is a fourteen year old demihuman, and granddaughter of the famous Orokin scientist Doctor Cedric Wylde - though their relationship is one of father and daughter so they refer to each other as such. She identifies as bisexual and her pronouns are she/her.

Evelyn is 5 feet 6 six inches (66 inches) in height and is usually seen wearing cleated snow shoes, jeans, winter snow pants, a long sleeve shirt, a jacket that she's "borrowing" from her girlfriend, @doll-the-zombie-drone, and a magic talisman from her late mother that protects her from harm. She has elven ears, a round face, soft lips, tanned skin, freckles, a button nose, piercing sapphire-blue eyes with slitted pupils, braided shoulder-length silver hair with purple, blue, and light green highlights, fangs, sharp claws for nails, well toned muscles, and an Australian accent. However, her most notable features are her molted green prehensile lizard tail, the tip of which boasts a razor-sharp blade, a pair of bat wings she keeps hidden under her jacket when she's not using them, and - though she'd almost always hiding it - a vivisection scar on her chest. Unless you want to be punched in the face at full force, it would be wise to not touch it.

Depending on who she's talking to, her personality varies wildly. Thanks to her childhood she has trust issues and is slow to warm up to people. Of course, once she does she goes from cold and distant to a lovable goofball cinnamon roll who loves to snuggle. She is also capable of purring and adores physical affection - that being said, don't touch her tail without permission, as it's extremely sensitive. She is surprisingly touch-starved and as a result physical affection has become her love language. She also adores praise, and especially likes being called a "good girl." The one thing that remains constant throughout the two sides of her personality is that she's a massive tomboy and ready for a fight at any time, including when she's asleep. The girl keeps a hatchet under her pillow for Void's sake. She is also autistic - high functioning - and has a hard time telling whether or not someone's being sarcastic, subtly making fun of her, or being genuine. She's also also insecure, has abandonment issues, hates loud noises, and is terrified of driving her loved ones away.

After learning the truth of the Absolute Solver in episode six, Evie has developed a strong phobia of Solver-infected Drones and the AS itself.

Thanks to Evie's great great grandfather, who's name has been stricken from history, she and her entire bloodline are effectively immortal and while they can be killed, they will eventually come back to life. Preventative measures can be taken to slow the self-resurrection process, but it cannot be stopped. The family also has supernatural powers, with Evie specializing in Pyromancy, or fire magic. She also also has a familiar - a phoenix she named Sol. She is very protective of Sol and will deck you without hesitation if you hurt her bird.

In terms of combat, her options are surprisingly varied. Not only does she have the aforementioned fire magic, but she is also incredibly strong, a black belt in jujitsu, carries multiple knives on her person at all times, and has a substantial collection of weapons that she can pull from and summon into her hands at will. She is also one of exactly three people who wields the Delta Solver - a variant of the Absolute Solver created by her grandfather. The Delta Solver is much less powerful than the AS, but more versatile, not sentient, lacks the biological aspect, and can only be given to others by an Admin.

As an added bonus she is capable of turning into a Disassembly Drone with blue lights instead of yellow, though she usually only uses this form to fluster her girlfriend.

Looking for Andrew Spider-Man for JCINK Spider Trio

Hello hello! Thanks for taking a look at our buddy request. The short and sweet of the story is that we’re two 30+ RP loving gals who happen to play Tom Holland (Ruby) and Tobey Maguire (me) Spider-Mans and we’re for Andrew Garfield Spidey to complete our trio on the panfandom JCINK site we run called, Between the Lines.

While *Spoilers* we LOOOOVE No Way Home, we don’t require that you pull him from it. Tobey Peter comes from directly after that movie, but our Tom Holland Spidey comes from around Endgame, before No Way Home. He has no idea what awaits him. Muhahaha!

  We're currently working our two Spider-Mans into the same city with a bit of Eddie Brock and Vee causing chaos in the middle. Tom Peter maaaaay currently be playing host to a certain alien made of black goo while Tobey Peter is reluctantly teaming up with the symbioteless Eddie to help his younger self and he could really use Andrew Spidey's help.

  As long as he's still his Amazing Spider-Man self, we’re pretty flexible on whether your Spidey knows about the other Spideys or if you want to add a bit of comic/previous iterations for flavor (my Tobey Spidey has a begrudging friendship with his universe’s Deadpool, he’s worked briefly with the X-Men), etc.

  Ruby also has a cinnamon bun of a murderer with Andrew’s face (FCs can be reused, yay multiverse!) and we’d love to see some wonderful chaos where people mistake Peter for Angel and freak out… because glorious IC drama. This totally isn’t required, though and definitely up to you on how you wanna roll.

  With that said, there are a few things we do want, both from the character and a writing partner in general.

The Character:

  Definitely still The Amazing Spider-Man, rather than a comic book Spidey with Andrew’s face.

Mid 20’s to mid 30’s

Near the end of his dark place after Gwen’s death, or through it.

Still his wonderful, quirky nerd of a self.

You as the writer:

  We’re pretty much always throwing ideas (and some IC chat) back and forth to test out headcanon babies. We’re definitely looking for a third buddy to gush, plot, and write with.

Rubes and I can be fairly speedy, but flexible posters. We have our own stuff going on from mental health to busy work schedules and that means we have our slow times like everyone else. But we’re also friends and we chat even when one of us can’t post for whatever reason. Someone who posts less than once a week on a regular basis or who just disappears off the face of the Earth when a real life moment hits probably isn’t going to work for us.

We consider ourselves fairly good writers with a decent grasp of grammar and creative writing (show don’t tell, etc). Ideally, you’d be the same. To clarify on this point, we don’t need you to be perfect. We definitely are not. But we do love to paint a picture.

We tend to write anywhere from 100 to 500+ words depending on our muses and would like the same in return.

We’re both in the EST timezone if that matters. It really doesn’t to us. We’re looking for a buddy and while it would be amazeballs to have someone up and chatting when we are, we’re in it for the friendship and the story, not the clock.

We’re also both over 30 and the board is 18+ for players. We're definitely looking for a mature, adult writing buddy regardless of the rating of the content we choose to create.

We're  admins on BtL and looking to have this plot (and others) on our site. We won't do private discord or Doc RP and aren't willing to join another site at this time.
