Hi carol! I hope you're doing lovely. I have a bit of an issue. I'm writing a field research paper on religion and my subject got ill and set back my sight visit to her place of worship back a week. This is a 13 page paper that's not very complex but time consuming and I'm going to be cutting it very close to the due date. I've tried writing what I already have but my brain shuts off an I cry and get very frustrated. Do you have any tips on writing a big essay like this? xx

01. coffee or tea? tea! 02. favourite dessert? probably cheesecake 03. favourite author? i don’t know if i can accurately answer this question because i don’t usually read many books of the same author and i can’t really name them my favorite author if i’ve only read one of their works can i? (oscar wilde maybe) 04. favourite book quote? that’s very hard! i love oscar wilde’s quotes and my favorite is "with freedom, books, flowers, and the moon, who could not be happy?", but i don’t think it’s from a book? 05. role model? um, emma thompson, maybe? 06. colour of your bedroom walls? purple 07. if you had one wish, your wish could be anything except more wishes, what would it be? i would wish to travel the world someday 08. lined paper on graph paper notes? graph paper 09. bullet journal or planner? i don’t use either rn but i’m about to start my bujo! [adaboystudies Introduction]

Hi guys!

My name is Adaliz but everyone calls me Ada (pronounced Ahh-Duh), I’ve finally worked up the courage to make a studyblr and join the community! I discovered the study community through Instagram when I discovered bullet journaling. I start classes on August 21st (my birthday!) so here goes:

About Me:

I am 18 years old (19 in like 4 days!)

Proud Leo

I actually attend a community college for now and am in my final year (sophmore year), before transferring to a 4 year university

I’m from Florida, U.S.

My parents are both Puerto Rican.

I am studying Psychology

I speak English and Spanish and know a decent amount of French and am attempting to learn more!

I am a true make up addict!

Classes I am taking:

Intro to Religion

Abnormal Psychology

Developmental Psychology

Biological Foundations

Things I want to learn:

More French

How to actually work Tumblr (as in theme and customizing my blog to my liking, I’m really at it so I’m accepting lots of help!)

How to balance my classes and a full-time job along with my social life.

Why a Studyblr?:

I decided to start my studyblr because I found such tranquility and support within the study community. It was so aesthetically appealing to me but it also motivated me to want to do better in college since i was never very serious about high school. I’ve found many good studyblrs and amazing resources as well as advice within the studyblr community, but I felt way too unworthy of trying to join, but i worked up the courage and here I am!

Hi Carol! So I'm a relatively new studyblr and you're such a beautiful blog I'm literally obsessed with it!! But anyway, my question is do you have any advice for over coming the fear of posting? The studyblr community is so beautiful and some of the bujo spreads and notes I see ARE SO GOOD?! LIKE I CAN NOT FATHOM BEING THAT CREATIVE LIKE IM ABOUT AS CREATIVE AS A LIMA BEAN AND LIKE I CANT DRAW AND MY HANDWRITING IS KINDA POOP. Like I just feel like im not creative enough to post :///

thank u angel!! first of all, welcome to the studyblr community. pls don’t feel afraid to share ur beautiful content bc it doesn’t matter whether or not u have neat handwriting or perfectly picturesque bujo spreads, what matters is if it helps u or not, and if it helps u it’s likely to help someone else!! everyone in the studyblr community is trying to improve themselves + get inspiration from others, so please don’t feel shy about sharing ur content bc i guarantee it will motivate and inspire others!! no one will think badly of u for sharing ur content either - we tend to be our worst critics so i rly doubt other people will think badly of what you upload. u don’t need to be super creative in order to upload!! don’t place these restrictions on urself, just post what u want bc it’ll all be fine~
