Tangled up with stupid lovedrunk humans with windswept hair and smiling eyes, little animals being drawn towards you naively, children just as naive that always love before they're taught to hate, angels loving enough to fall themselves for you no matter the dirt on your coat, dancing at feasts, endless festivity and tempting soldiers into passion filled mistakes as they come back from war, falling asleep pressed to the Earth under starlight as nothing more than a creature of flesh, fire both as warmth as community and as torture, making your home on a witch's hearth because she loves what the world cannot, taking forms of humans and beasts to win lonely hearts to the life of sin, ear-piercing screams of grief and the loss of love love love as you crashed into the dirt, finding that love again in your fellow fallen patching you up and building a home out of what was desolate and lost, pulling that stupid human to your chest and laughing drunkenly as sleep weighs your heavy Earthly body down into soft blankets, sweetened cigarettes shared among a group of your brothers and sisters, hiding each others horns and torn wings from those who hate, living and laughing and roaming and partying with humans and the Earth because her gentle soil offers such bountiful love and joy that Heaven is meaningless in comparison

I love my demonic features a whole lot, but looking at other demons, it's really striking just how little I can relate to the demonic experience :[ I may have a tail and horns, and I have been to hell, but like... I'm not very evil and sin as a concept isn't really a thing with Prime (although you do get less Primes if people don't like you -_-). I'm religious in that sense but it's a fictional religion with no community.

I guess I fit all the criteria to demonhood by technicality but I don't relate to corrupting people and I definitely do not miss hell, lol. I still consider perhaps trying to connect with the devil in me more. Maybe I do have evil in me that I just need to nourish. Idk how though.
