I'm sorry if you're tired of thinking about ofmd and that whole mess but goddamn... it's incredibly painful to see so many people trying to set up fundraisers to get their families out of gaza and the sudan and desperately trying to get their loved ones to safety, I've seen so many and everyday I check to see how much progress they've made, most of them still haven't hit their goal. It hurts to see people rally around a tv show and raise all this money for a billboard, and it's very frustrating to see how people have reacted to this criticism. Like bro tv shows get canceled sometimes there's more important stuff going on

Someone else said it better but to see a fundraiser for tv show renewal advertisements raise $20,000 in less than a day while it takes days/weeks/months/years/never for fundraisers for actual causes that help real people in need reach a goal of less is absolutely dystopian and shameful

I heard Tom Holland got good reviews for his Hulu TV series. I first saw him in “The impossible” (2012) about a family that survived the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Holland was only 16 and he held his own acting opposite Naomi Watts who played his mother.

Of course, since then Holland is best known for playing Spider-Man in the MCU. He was terrific in his first few appearances as Peter Parker… but 6 movies later super-hero fatigue set in. I wish he’d move on to more interesting roles (and not other action movies).

With that said, I heard about a TV series “Capote and the Swans” was an acting challenge for him, playing a 60 year old gay man!

Scene 1:

We open on the main stage of RuPaul's Drag Race, where RuPaul is standing in front of the competing queens.

RuPaul: "Hello, my queens. For this week's acting challenge, we're going to be doing something a little different. We're going to be doing a disaster movie, and I want you all to channel your inner action heroes."

The queens cheer and clap in excitement.

RuPaul: "But remember, this is a disaster movie, so things are going to get intense. Are you all ready to lip sync for your lives?"

The queens nod and cheer even louder.

RuPaul: "Okay, let's get started. Our first scene takes place in a high-rise building during an earthquake. The queens are trapped in an elevator and need to find a way to escape before the building collapses."

The queens rush onto the set, which is designed to look like the inside of an elevator. They begin to frantically search for a way to escape, but the shaking gets worse and the elevator starts to creak and groan.

Queen 1: "We have to find a way out of here! The building is going to collapse!"

Queen 2: "I see a maintenance hatch in the ceiling. Maybe we can climb out through there?"

Queen 3: "But how are we going to reach it? The shaking is too intense!"

Queen 4: "We can use our wigs as a makeshift ladder! It's our only chance!"

The queens quickly stack their wigs on top of each other and use them to climb up to the maintenance hatch. They manage to open it and escape just as the building collapses behind them.

Scene 2:

We cut to the queens running through the streets, trying to escape the earthquake. They are running for their lives, dodging falling debris and collapsing buildings.

Queen 5: "We have to find shelter! The earthquake isn't stopping!"

Queen 6: "I see a mall over there! Maybe we can find safety inside!"

The queens rush towards the mall, but just as they are about to enter, the ground starts to split open and a massive sinkhole forms in front of them.

Queen 7: "What do we do now? The sinkhole is blocking our way!"

Queen 8: "We have to jump across it! It's the only way to safety!"

The queens take a deep breath and run towards the sinkhole. They manage to jump across it and make it into the mall just as the sinkhole grows even wider.

Scene 3:

We cut to the queens inside the mall, which is now in chaos. People are running and screaming, and the mall is filled with smoke and debris.

Queen 9: "We have to find a way out of here! The mall is going to collapse!"

Queen 10: "I see an exit sign! Maybe we can make it to the parking garage and escape in a car!"

The queens rush towards the exit, but just as they are about to reach it, a fire breaks out and blocks their way.

Queen 11: "We're trapped! We'll never make it out of here alive!"

Queen 12: "But we're queens, darlings! We never give up! We can use our costumes to make a makeshift fire hose and put out the flames!"
