The Lowdown on KP
For all my Gen Z readers, no I’m not talking about Kim Possible here. Although the theme song is super catchy, I’m talking about Keratosis Pilaris. I have had KP since I was little and also struggled with it since I was little. Otherwise known as ‘chicken skin’, keratosis pilaris is annoying, irritating, and causes embracing little red bumps that appear on my upper back and the back of my arms. They itch and can at times me super sensitive. They get worse during the winter months, the wrong kind of sunscreen can cause a flare up, like I said are just downright annoying.
I have tried nearly every product under the sun. I’ve been to dermatologists, I’ve read skincare articles and honestly I’ve found, like with everything else, KP has no one size fits all solution.
I have found a gluten free diet has been the biggest game changer for my KP and overall health but still I get the occasional flare up which can last weeks to months at a time.
Over the last few months I’ve discovered that AHA/BHA + lactic acid based body washes have been the biggest saving grace for my skin. Because acids  gently exfoliate and help my skin cells turn over faster, my skin is smoother and less irritated. I highly recommend using a rich body oil or body cream after though. Lock in moisture and also wear sunscreen. AHA/BHA will make skin super sensitive to sun.
Best Body Washes I’ve Tried For KP:
Necessaire The Body Exfoliator ($30; Sephora.com)… This one made my skin super soft and smooth, however the niacinamide did give my skin a slight niacin flush.
SkinFix Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Scrub ($32; Sephora.com)… I love love love this product first because it goes on pre shower and turns to a cream leaving my skin feeling soft, but second because the line is specifically made for KP. I love that it’s clean, and cruelty free. I saw a complete difference in my skin after just one use.
Others To Try…
First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA ($30; Sephora.com)
Peach and Lily KP Bump Boss Microderm Body Scrub ($28; peachandlily.com)
*NOTE: AHA/BHA should not be combined with a retinol. All products listed are anti-aging and prevention skin products. <3

USDA-CERTIFIED POMEGRANATE OIL
Pomegranate oil is high in Vitamin C, which is already known for lightening the skin. Skin spots, markings, blemishes, acne scars, and pigmentation can all be reduced with vitamin C. Punicic acid in it increases natural skin color and brightness by hydrating skin cells and repairing damaged ones. Organic Pomegranate oil has several anti-microbial compounds that battle acne-causing germs. It decreases microbial activity on the skin while also strengthening the skin's barrier against numerous contaminants. It does not clog pores and helps the skin to breathe due to its rapid absorption. It also balances excess oil output and reduces the likelihood of spills. This strengthens hair and keeps it frizz-free; it can also increase blood circulation to the scalp and constrict scalp pores.

dumbass little detail thing but i love when in s4 they'd zoom in on will's face and u could see that he doesn't have perfectly clear skin. and idk if that was an intentional choice (like with makeup) or if noah's skin was just naturally like that, but it means a lot to me personally when i see teenagers portrayed in media with acne/moles/etc and not perfect skin because. the former is always more accurate. most teenagers (and adults too!!!) Don't have perfectly clear skin and i'm sick of that being the expectation when we watch shows centered around teenagers. as someone who struggles with acne as like, my #1 biggest insecurity, it's annoying and frankly fucking hurtful when people think with that mindset. so. just this little tidbit meant a lot to me okay thank you for listening 👍

Best reviews revamin cream 2023
Revamin cream for acne: does it work?
If you’re looking for an effective acne cream, you may have heard of Revamin Cream. This skincare product is designed to help reduce the appearance of acne and even potentially reduce scarring. But does it really work? In this blog post, we’ll be looking at the effectiveness of Revamin Cream for acne and if it can also be used to reduce the appearance of Revamin stretch marks.
Tumblr media
The science behind Revamin
The cream is formulated with natural ingredients that are meant to reduce the redness, inflammation, and swelling of the skin.
The main active ingredient in Revamin is salicylic acid, which is an anti-inflammatory that helps to unclog pores and reduce the number of bacteria on the skin.
Additionally, Revamin contains aloe vera, which helps soothe and heal the skin, as well as tea tree oil, which has antiseptic properties.
All of these ingredients work together to combat acne-causing bacteria and reduce the overall severity of breakouts.
Studies have shown that Revamin cream can be effective when used daily over the course of several weeks or months.
Those who suffer from severe or cystic acne may want to consider using a higher concentration of Revamin cream or combining it with other treatments, such as antibiotics or topical retinoids.
In addition to treating existing acne, Revamin can also be used as part of a preventative skincare regimen, helping to minimize future flare-ups.
To achieve optimal results from using Revamin cream, it is important to wash your face before applying it and be consistent with your use.
This will allow the active ingredients time to penetrate the skin and do their job effectively.
Finally, always make sure to wear sunscreen when using any form of skincare treatment that increases sun sensitivity, such as Revamin cream.
How to use Revamin
Using Revamin cream is simple and straightforward. All you need to do is apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected areas of your skin, preferably at night before going to bed.
Make sure to cleanse the area first with a gentle cleanser and warm water, then pat the area dry before applying the cream.
For optimal results, use Revamin cream daily as part of your skincare routine. It’s important to be consistent with using Revamin in order to get the best possible results. Additionally, make sure to use sunscreen while using Revamin cream to help protect your skin from UV rays.
When using Revamin cream, it’s important to be aware that the product may cause some mild irritation and redness, so start by using it every other day and gradually build up to using it every day if no negative side effects occur.
Overall, using Revamin cream is a simple and easy process that can help reduce the appearance of acne and other blemishes on the skin.
What users are saying
When it comes to Revamin cream, users are singing its praises. Many have reported that their acne has cleared up significantly after using the product.
Many say that it not only works quickly but also lasts for a long time and can be used as a preventative measure.
Others have found that it helps keep their skin clear for months, and with continued use, it can help them maintain clear skin even longer.
Most of those who use Revamin cream find that it is a great product for acne-prone skin and recommend it highly to others.
It may take a few weeks before one begins to see results, but once they do, they often stick with it.
The most noticeable result that many people report is that their acne clears up faster than expected.
In addition, they don’t experience any side effects from the cream such as redness or irritation. Other benefits include hydrated skin and reduced inflammation from existing breakouts.
As far as cost goes, Revamin cream is relatively affordable in comparison to other acne creams on the market today. It’s definitely worth giving a try if you’re looking for an effective solution for your acne woes!
The bottom line
When it comes to acne treatments, it can be difficult to know which product will work best for you.
Many people have found success with Revamin cream, which is specifically designed to treat and prevent breakouts. It has a gentle yet powerful formula that contains natural ingredients like retinol, glycolic acid, and vitamins A, C, and E, which are all known to reduce the appearance of blemishes.
Revamin also contains zinc oxide, which helps reduce inflammation and soothe skin. In addition, users report that Revamin cream is easy to apply, quickly absorbed, and not overly greasy.
While it may take some time for your acne to fully clear up, many users have found that Revamin cream is an effective way to reduce breakouts and keep their skin looking healthy and clear.
