Do you have a whump bucket list of things you'd like to happen to you? What kind of stuff do you day dream about, if that not too personal?

Honestly, that’s a fun question. I do have a bucket list in general, which contains a couple whumpy things but it also has nice normal wholesome things on it, like ‘see my sister’s first day at school’ which I did, and which was lovely. There’s also a difference between the stuff that I daydream about that I would not enjoy irl and know would be inadvisable and stuff that I would actually try. 

Pretty much everything I reblog here is stuff that I have at some point imagined happening to me and probably enjoyed thinking about, but most of it is pretty unsuitable for real world fun. Having said that, I’m going to put the rest of this under a cut for discussion of irl pain and masochism although not in an inherently sexual context (because I am still very ace): 

Alright so, I feel like I should start by saying that there are a few things that I have done, which I guess I’ve occasionally referred to but not really in detail. I’ve enjoyed being cut and I like, just general manhandling and choking and restraints. I like the idea of like,, a situation where it’s basically just a torture rp and like, someone might be trying to get something out of me (because I think defiance is fun, and it’s really hard to be defiant otherwise when you’re just straight up asking someone to hurt you). But like,, I’ve also never been whipped, and that’s something I imagine would be very fun. 

Most of the time I prefer sharp pain to dull pain, and I mostly just become really uncomfortable if anything becomes like,, explicitly sexual outside of fiction. I guess it’s just like,, a fun sensation that I enjoy and not really a thing that has to lead to anything more and attraction doesn’t really factor into it either, although there’s definitely aesthetics that I enjoy. I also think that hurting hands and fingers is really fun, but like,, I also realise that fingernail torture isn’t exactly something you can do safely irl and nor is breaking someone’s fingers, but I’ve settled for vague cuts with disinfectant poured over them. Honestly, I’ve done a lot of questionable things and would do more if the opportunity presented itself but like, feel free to DM me if you just,, want more detail because I feel weird talking about it so publicly.

Just out of curiosity (it’s totally valid) but what do you think it is about lady whump that you don’t like? Does it feel much different to you? (like for me it’s not something that colors my perception for a whump scene- but thats just me)

I think for me, as a woman, it's a bit too personal? Like, when I see a woman hurt, I feel it intrinsically as if I too, could be hurt that way, if that makes sense. I like male whump a lot more because there's a disconnect there. I'm not one of those people who imagine themselves as the whumpee and I'm also really not a fan of masochism (though those things are valid if you're into them) so it's just not my thing? And that's not to mention the whole history and mysogyny aspect of it (ie. women being abuse throughout history and in current events) but I'm not going to get into that
