Saber from Fate Stay Night : @accentkisses⁠ .⁠ Everyone has an escape; mine is cosplay. Cosplay has enriched my life so much through the many friendships and connections I've made. Cosplaying characters I heavily relate too also means I get to meet people who share the Fandom.⁠ .⁠ Saber is one of my pride and joy, labor of love cosplays. Everything is made  by me or my propsmith. So much time and dedication went into her costume; from picking the fabric to correctly represent royalty, to adding extra flair with using different trims and embroidery.

She is truly one of my favorite costumes made to date and has been worn frequently since creation! The Fate Fandom is so welcoming and I've met so many amazing cosplayers and people through it.⁠ .⁠ San Japan quickly became one of my favorite cons. I first attended it in 2019 and a single day trip turned into a multiple day event! I met many people who I had only talked to on social media there and it was very nice to visit a local con. It was very lively and I loved the atmosphere and general fun loving crowd it drew! My favorite parts had to be the meet ups, I always love engaging with others from my Fandoms and making more friends.⁠

when we decided to go to RTX this year, my boyfriend told me that last year, when he stayed in a hostel across the river, he would walk by this everyday and loved it. Friday, we decided to take those scooter things around austin to see what the city was like. he decided to take me here and show me. I was kinda mad at myself for not bringing my camera. I wanted to take a photo of it for him and have it printed. so sunday, before my shoot with accentkisses, I made him take me there again, with my camera this time!! so I could take this photo, I just ordered a wrapped canvas for him :3 when we went the first time, we had zero issues. the second time we went, there were no scooters anywhere, and the one I finally found died on the way there XD we found a fully charged one eventually, but it’s just funny that I was trying really hard to do this gesture that he didn’t really know what I was doing or why I wanted to do it and all these things kept happening to get in the way. like sitcom level “two people reach for the same scooter at the same time and my awkward ass lets them take it” or we walked two blocks to a scooter on the map and it was 100% missing.  for those who don’t know what I’m talking about, there are these electric scooters in Austin that you can activate with an App, it’s like 1$ to start and then 15 cents a minute after that. so it’s cheaper and a lot of the times, faster than Uber. the app lets you know where on the map you can find one and it’s supposed to show their battery levels too, but that didn’t really work for me X.X but anyway, all is fine! I ordered the canvas, it’s cropped better than this on the canvas, but I really like the whole photo I’m going to get so laid for this.  bless up
