Star, named after the yellow starshaped pattern on her head, is the little Moth Abyss found in Wasteland and ended up adopting.

Quite literally still a baby, Star isn't yet able to do much, besides honking, babbling and holding on to Abyss for dear life. Fortunately their Guardian is very fluffy, so there is a lot to hold onto.

Star's hobbies include napping, cuddling and more napping. She also likes nomming on everything she can find, mostly her own tentacle-hair, hands and feet.

Potion making apprentice in Ark

Has a pet crab ("crabtain")

After growing up a bit, Star decided to start a apprenticeship as a potion maker in the forgotten Ark. Despite being sad that Abyss, won't stay with her, she knows that her Guardian will visit as often as possible.

She is rather cheeky and witty, but according to Abyss and her new mentor still as loveable as ever. Star cares a lot about her apprentice ship and wants to be the best potion maker the seven Realms have ever seen. Secretly she hopes to one day get blessings by both the wasteland and vault elder, as she feels then she'll truly know her craft.

Abyss adopts a moth

This drawing is inspired by a story I wrote over at @skykid-void about my ocs Abyss and Star.

Abyss finds Star, a young moth, alone, hurt and scared in wasteland. After a few shenanigans, both of them get attached to eachother and Abyss makes the decision to raise the little moth.

i've been doing mild research on the 'chongyun-is-secretly-a-vishap' theory and i went down a rabbit hole of vishap people, the debate on whether or not they actually exist, and how chongyun may be a reincarnated sovereign.

this is so much information to filter for abyssverse.

Chongyun isn't human in abyssverse. He may have the appearance of one, but he's still, at his core, a bathysmal vishap. Chongyun has all the traits of being one too. I'm not sure if they have scales, or scale-like birthmarks (though that'd be cool.), but Chongyun has the slit eyes, and definitely sharp fangs. The rest of their teeth is probably sharp too, but the fangs are more pronounced.

I might have to go into more depth on what the bathysmal vishaps look like because Chongyun very well could have more birthmarks/scars that resemble their markings/colors.

It would make sense, especially if Chongyun's clothes were designed to hide said markings.

From here, the page talks about the general existence of vishaps and where they come from, and how they might be related to the abyss order. But this passage stands out to me most:

Vishaps followed each of the Seven Sovereigns with their respective Elements. Each species will bear the Seven Sovereigns anew, as long as they're biologically pure. Bathysmal Vishaps on the other hand are far more intelligent, it is said that their defeat allows them to survive and evolve to the same human that defeated them. Some of these are known as "Vishap-people", eventually they took the likeness of a human albeit having reptilian-looking eyes and have infiltrated Enkanomiya's population.

This does go with the theory that Chongyun could be reincarnated from a dragon. I might use it for abyssverse, and have it inspired by yakshaverse, where Chongyun is having flashes of memories of a past life, and as a result is driven to joining the abyss to get more answers about who he actually is.

Verse is still under development but I'm getting interesting lore and ideas here.

don't mind me, just trying to put thoughts in order for this so I can understand and try to clarify it for you

the sovereign theory:

So basically here's what I'm gathering. For starters, the bottom says a new generation of sovereigns is being born. Among these is Chongyun, Xingqiu, and Kokomi.

Chongyun being born with excessive yang energy ties into Chinese dragons, who are most associated with water and weather. While Chongyun doesn't control water, this still makes sense, especially when you factor in the dragon god, who is the representative of yang masculine power.

I can't find the line from Kokomi in her voice lines, but appparently she says that vassals of Watatsumi take on a half human, half snake form. This could relate to Chongyun's eyes being slit pupils, even though he's from Liyue and not Inazuma.

There's other information here that I am trying to make sense of, and failing cause it's really confusing. But the basic gist I'm getting is that if you reach deep into the lore we have and do some research, you get Chongyun could be a reincarnated dragon and thus it would fit for abyssverse cause he's not fully human.

I'm not sure exactly how much I buy into this theory, cause a lot of it is reach and there's not much lore on any of it to make solid sense, but it's an interesting one, and it's a theory I could potentially adopt for abyssverse

where Chongyun either is already part of the abyss or is in process of joining because of awakened memories.
