In complete seriousness, they need to make laws about ads that say they can take no more than one, maybe two, clicks/taps to close/skip. No more "wait 10 seconds until you can skip the video, wait 10 seconds until you can skip the fake playable ad, wait 5 seconds until you can close the 'download now' overlay, puts up a half-screen in-app appstore pop-up (which at least you can close immediately)." This should literally be illegal to do.

Edit: this is blowing up so I just wanted to add (haha ad) that this was my "reasonable request" I also think there should be way more and way stricter laws around all advertising in general. I think most advertising as we know it today should be abolished.

HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY!!! To this elderly bapy boye!!! he...!!!

I feel too weird putting financial #information into tumblr or whatever unless I made like a seperate bank account or something not associated with anyhting else lol #but I gave it serious contemplation which is really sayng something (the evil magical spell that all cats cast over u by their perfection)#ANYWAY.................... old man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#it's technically like march 8th but I did his party a little early. I have other pictures to post later maybe too..hrmm #The '1' candle is actually a '4' candle with the side part cut off because they didn't have any 1s #I went all out (like under $15 still lol) and got new birthday decorations for him instead of using the same old #ones from the past like 5 birthdays that I've done for the cats lol..#His theme was rainbows mostly in as light of colors as I could find #The legal age to drive a car in the US is 16 so.... honk honk beep beep.. I shall go out and buy him the most expensive car on the market #as soon as March 8th comes. then he can run little errands (probably mostly getting kibbles or chicken somewhere)#stealing the rotisserie chickens from walmart or something lol #AND they would let him have them. He would drive up and walk inside and they'd call the manager to come over #and they would be so moved by his presence and his big goofy stare that they would just be like..... okey.. have all the chicken in the #entire store. Read Are Prisons Obsolete? by Angela Y. Davis

It's on Libby, it's on Overdrive, it comes as an audiobook. If your local library doesn't have it on either, Overdrive has an option to request that your library buy it. If you'd rather buy a physical book, it's like $7 for a used copy.

It's short. It's in plain, nontechnical language. It's as easy to read as informative tumblr posts, but it will teach you more than a hundred well written tumblr posts. And it's actually accurate, fact checked and sourced.

If you can scroll social justice posts on here on your phone, you can read a page or two of this at a time on your phone or ereader.

If you can listen to a podcast, you can listen to this.

It's more important than ever to be politically informed and this one short book is so easy and such a good place to start.

so I'm seeing more people talking about defunding and abolishing the police again. it's really important to learn about the nature of policing, its origins and why policing can't be reformed - why we can't use body cameras or better training to fix police brutality.

Another thing that I've learned as I have undertaken my craft is just how satisfying it is to use what you make - to have known that you made it. Even now as I make my big project, the fabric is big enough that it's warming my lap up as I make it - even that is satisfying.

People want to make an effort - even small ones. What people don't like is pseudowork - bullshit jobs. Honestly, it's partly tragic to think about, partly infuriating.

The queen is dying surrounded by family.

My gran died surrounded by family this May.

The queen has a completely heated, warm mansion.

My gran died in always cold house because she couldn't afford the heating on her pension.

The queen dies with millions in assets, diamonds, jewels, land and property.

My gran refused to tell us she was in trouble because she didn't want us to get into thousands of pounds in debt.

The royal family arrives in private jet and into land rovers.

I couldn't afford to fill my car with petrol.

The queen dies surrounded by medical professionals, her own private medical team and ambulance on standby.

The ambulance never showed for my gran. She was high priority, a presumed stroke, and after 2 hours a small medical car arrived to try and resuscitate her but it was too late.

Prince William wont have to preform CPR on his gran while a 999 operator shouts down the phone at you, but I had to.

Nothing about this horrible country is equal.
