Idk if you ever watched any of rid15 but she was the big crow Decepticon that liked shiny things and wasn't actually that bad, she just had a tendency to steal shiny things to make a nest out of them. We didn't get to see her robot mode a lot sadly, she just looked like this most of the time

There was also a set of crow brothers (triplets I think??) named Boostwing, Jacknab, and Pilfer who also liked to steal things and didn't really seem to go out of their way to harm anyone unless they got in their way.

Basically, rid15 birds hot

Alright peeps [cracks fingers and knuckles], my overview opinions on Rid2015 ‘Cons:

Love each of their wacky designs, whether animal like or not (vehicons and insecticons included!). There’s a variety among them: bipedal, quarpedal, or to straight up slither like a snake. That right there is diversity! Plus we got some badass femmes!

Whether they be flyers, crawlers, grounders, or troublesome cyclones. Some have fire power, toxins, sub sonics, hypnotics, strength, etc.,

Each has their own way of speaking: rough, noir-like, gamer lingo, militia, posh, normal, or nonsense. More colorful than TF:Prime’s Decepticons (sorry tfp, my beloved), marking them more distinguishable. So much going on that I love about them!

When I checked out to remember their debut, they made me feel in a certain way, some made me laugh, others made me awe-strucked, and a few made me chill to the core when looking back to a particular episode. (Simacore, why the fuck did you (allegedly) murdered your minicons to make essentially zombie clone versions? Yo Steeljaw, why did you slaughter that Sharkticon if the rumors are true? Then where’s the evidence?)

What I don’t like, however, that when I go to tfwiki, didn’t have a list for one-time rogue Decepticons (like Zizza, Hammerstrike, Flich, Vertebreak, etc.) or Starscream’s henchmen on the Decepticon section (though I’m puzzled about RoughEdge and Nightra, but that’s another time).

Not to mention that weird amardillo commando Stockade, I don't really see why he had any substance to the show, yet again some episodes are side quests (like s2 & 3 in Prime). I genuinely don't like him at all...

OH SHINY! What transformers knowledge do you have to impart for us?

Not much knowledge that I didn't bullshit in my head because I love aliens and overthinking so much, but I will tell you that, unfortunately, RID 2015 has some of the best tf designs I've ever seen and will share them with you now.

Up first, my favorite of all the series, Vertebreak.

This is one of the only refs I can find currently but his design slaps like a razor skate to the ankle. His serpent body is so well animated and his voice actor clearly had a fuckin blast. He stands out the most to me personally because how alien-equse he looks, his head clearly isn't very snake like and it ever so slightly nudges him into the uncanny valley. Unfortunately he only appears in a single episode in the show's entire run and is never spoken of again.

They clearly didn't want to linger at all on villains that weren't FurrybaitMcgee so they inadvertently, in their haste, made them more unique than the main big bad. I mean, these are pretty cool just look!

Scorponok has such an amazing earthy toned palette that's still vibrant, and I'm a sucker for digigrade legs, plus his tail looks like it a massive amount of strength and actually balances him!

Glowstrike actually turns into a firefly which is cool since I've only seen bad guys be beetles and "icky" bugs. It's a nice change of scenery! I love how pointy she looks, her helmet and wings/tailcoat have such a pleasing shape and flow to them.

Zizza is here because she is the only plus sized female transformer I've ever seen and her outfit is cool as hell, even though she's a Fat=Rich & greedy stereotype. Her outfit still rocks and I like that she still looks feminine. Plus her bee form is badass and looks like if an insectophobe described a bee.

Pseudo is just a changeling and that alone is cool as fuck also he gives me tfa shockwave vibes.

Chopshop is 5 Australian spiders in a trenchcoat being an Australian guy. A delight to have onscreen and see every time!

Ped's voice is really annoying and i hate that they gave him it, but his design's pretty impressive i gotta say. He doesn't have legs and his claws are cool.

I'm not sure what it is i love about her design but Filch is just a kleptomaniac who deserved better and I want you to love her.

Also while getting these pics I found Soundwave's final form (Dropped the show around when S3 came out & never finished) and it is absolutely incredible like honestly this is the smoothie blend of all my favorite features and it slaps, it slaps hard. Look at this. Perfect. Slimthicc bricc.

Dudes, I want to share a thought I had now regarding my ‘sparkling shakedown’ fic.

What if besides Steeljaw and his pack aren’t the only ones that are plotting to kidnap babysit the sparklings, the captured deceptions/rogues from previous episodes somehow escaped prison, seeing the cute beans, and also wanted to kidnap babysit too.

Just imagine for example, Zizza had the minicon on a throne, the two unnamed Chompazoids showing the little Chompazoid the best places to find iron, Nightra had Strongarm’s mini copy and giving him cybertronian sweets (the tyke know how to manipulate to get what he wants via cute privilege).

This may be crazy, but I can’t rid of that thought.
