Hiii it's me again, here to ask about Yan Tugs. You've written alot about the Stars... but what about the Zeds? I assume they'd be much more brutal considering Zeros implied connection to the mafia I'd think they'd resort to violence quicker than the Stars.

Welcome back!!!

Oh, I haven’t forgotten about them. When I originally answered, I included them and their life with y/n, but scrapped it due to my habits of long and detailed paragraphs (nowadays I tried to simplify, but it didn’t seem to work well).

I’ll try to memorize what I wrote down for the Z-stacks + Captain Douchebag Zero:

For being tough looking and (likely) dangerous, the Z-stacks seem to hold a soft spot for y/n. Under one condition: don’t run away, be well behaved, and show your affection to them and them only.

Show any affection to any outsiders (mainly the Star Fleet), or misbehaving, and it’s the Dark room for you (will explain this later).

Captain Zero may lose his temper and toss papers at y/n out of frustration (either from his fleet’s stupidity or whatever), he always apologizes y/n in private and washing them with gifts.

When y/n escapes the Star Fleet, they ran to a canal, tripped on something, and fell aside towards the canal. Luckily y/n landed on a floorboard, but quickly realized how a floorboard be in the watery path and a chuckle was heard. Y/n landed on Zorran’s floorboard and now is stuck with the Zero Fleet against their will (again).

The Z-stacks and their captain are paranoid, but Zero and Zorran are the worst. Zero had y/n surveillance nearly every day (forcing them to be his assistant), only left y/n to sleep (plus he locked them in their little bedroom every night). Zorran always takes y/n with him under Zero’s request for fresh air. If either are extremely busy, they pawn them up off duty zs.

Zip & Zug are Zorran’s go-tos, Zeebede sometimes watched them, and Zak is the last resort.

The remaining stacks were more chill than their leader and captain, but that doesn’t mean they get out of pocket.

One time Zak, Zug, and Zip were chasing down a not one, but TWO TRAMPERS for looking y/n and breathing the wrong way (not really the reason, but in reality the trampers quietly asked a distraught y/n with concern, and that’s when the z-stacks screamed like banshees and started chasing them)

Once in a blue moon, horror finds y/n when they witness Zak and the rest squashed a random foul mouthed sailor to death, because that bastard came out of nowhere and start swearing at people (and y/n was in the wrong place at the wrong time). Y/n won’t forget the crunch of broken bones and the deranged laughter of the Z-stacks, and had since desensitized.

When y/n isn’t watching, a Z-stack or two are always hidden in plain sight, watching and hearing. If they heard something y/n say they don’t like (i.e. talking to strangers, Star stacks, purposeful food strikes, or planning to escape), they report and punishment is awaited.

Depending on y/n’s ‘crimes’, minor punishments including are: scolding, revoking y/n’s outside privileges, and silent treatment. Median punishments are more silent treatments, withelding food, limiting drinking of water, and revoking bed privileges, and a hand smacking by Zero.

Final and most max are: yeeting y/n to the Dark room and locked them in (4-10 hours at best, nearly a week at worst in isolation)

The Dark room is a tiny cramped room by a small door, inside is mostly empty and a bit dusty. There is no natural light source, no flashlight, except for six tealight candles and a flatted out hayloft as a bed.

The Dark room is located near an abandoned building next to Zero Marine, nobody knows what it was used for, but the Zero Fleet now used it as a solitary confinement for a particular Little Z (a.k.a. you).

Y/n will be release from their prison and rejoice with the Z-stacks once they gave an apology and doing office chores to earn back their rights, they until then y/n must behave. Or back to the Dark room…

Man, that was so much to type on phone. I barely realized how little I wrote about the Z-stacks (minus Zorran), but that’s fine, I’ll write more about them in another post hehe.

God forsake the fleets find the portal and enter y/n’s world… It will not end well, especially if they happen to have human disguises and blend in…

y/n thought they escaped the nightmare, but the nightmare is in their world, ready to take everything & everyone that y/n hold value to.

The Stars are more lenient than the Z-stacks, they can understand why y/n acts the way they are, and can actually put up with it.

A good ol' 'get along' shirts, fake handcuffs, and tickle attacks can keep a y/n all better (even though y/n would despise it). However, when it becomes an everyday nuisance, they would put their foot down and try stricter tactics.

Here we have a y/n's relationship status report: (blue is positive, purple is neutral, and red for negative.)

Note: colors can interact based on interactions, such interactions will change based on behavior and decision making by both parties later in time

Yes, I'm making this a full fledged fanfic. The fic is called 'Sirens of the Crimson Sea', I'm currently making the main cover art and writing chapter one as we're speaking. I'm so thrilled as much as you are, and editing some parts I didn't like initially.

Though it might be slow (aside from editing and still thinking about drawing scenes after I finish a chapter, making silly artdump, & writing mini shenanigans relating Sirens of the Crimson Sea), procrastination would be the death of me and creative blocks.

Hell, even I decide to make a reference for y/n when I'm done with the cover lol!

Hi! I just wanna say that I'm super interested in your yandere Tugs consept and I was wondering... How long did it take for the Tugs to become obsessed with the reader? Was it a "love at first sight" typa deal or more of a slow burn?

I’m glad to answer and so happy that you’re interested/storytime as a treat (because when I type, I write a story ;3)!

To answer that, I say it’s both.

When reader appeared out of nowhere, the tugs (plus their captains) at first were over the moon, but kept it to themselves and let it fester for days.

The Star Fleet were the first to have reader as a friend, then slowly becoming a family.

However, that love they had turned into an obsession when a small boat insulted y/n for whatever reason as they passed by.

Ten cents was in the vicinity, needless to say, he sank it while had a small, cold smirk. Y/n was horrified, but even more so when TC rammed the boat again and giggling manically.

The others got there eventually (plus the Z-stacks were there just to watch), the older Stars (mainly Hercules) scrutinized TC, until TC explain his side of the story.

Captain Star ordered TC to take Warrior’s garbage duty as punishment for the day, while Captain Star ordered y/n back to the office to help with paperwork.

Fast forward to the evening and all Star Tugs are back to their dock, y/n made their way out of Captain Star’s office when laughter erupted from the tugs. It shouldn’t perk no interested at first, until the cackles of TC made you froze in place.

“Could you believe that boat?” he smirked proudly “one moment that miniature wooden children’s toy was hurling insults at our dear Darling, next he’s sinking and whimpering for forgiveness. A bit too late, isn’t it?” He scoffed.

“Serves him right,” Tophat piped enthusiastically “how dare that cretin spoke awfully to our Little y/n!”

The tugs muttered in agreement, and y/n’s head was spinning with contemplation.

“Alright, alright,” the booming chuckle from Captain Star’s megaphone interrupted “usually I don’t condone these sort of actions, however, the owner of that particular boat failed to correct its behavior. Especially it lashed at anyone, which was a not great until it lashed at the wrong person… and…”

He paused dramatically, and y/n's heart pounded faster...

It’s four in the morning, woke up two hours ago, and I’ll never this go, I’ll think about it at the back of my mind.

I really, REALLY, like the concept of cybertronians using sounds, whether to convey emotion, or simply scaring the living daylights out of humans (using legends to their advantage).

Look at Optimus from Animated, his engine revving in anger after learning that Prowl stole the Dinobots and put them on an island.

Then we have Strongarm (a pickup truck-like alt mode), MAKING TRAIN SOUNDS to frighten a tourist group away from a ghost town where it is a hideout to a shapeshifter. Like, holy shit, how cool is that?!

Now cut to the chase, how often do cybertronians do it?

Maybe not often when communicating with others, based on their moods. When given the opportunity, then using sounds to give a hint of whatever they feel.

Or replicating other sounds to confuse/scare anyone, ranging from mischievous purposes or using it to their advantages (especially when in war).

Now buckle up folks, it’s ‘my nonsensical bs headcanon’ time!

I like to headcanon that the Bee Team uses different sounds to communicate, especially useful when on missions they use to blend in the environments.

Imagine them on a highway, flanking a Decepticon in secret, using the honks of the noisy highway (in Morse code), and BLAM! Got the ‘Con!

When they’re not on missions, they also use sounds for various purposes: pranks, comedic effects, and a mood sound indicators.

Denny and Russell kinda get it in some parts, like one time they found Sideswipe and Strongarm in their alt modes face away from each other, they can hear the intense noises of their engines; giving a clear signal that they’re angry at each other.

Another time involving Grimlock and a joke he heard on tv, Dino was watching a comedy, world’s cheesiest joke came up, and Fixit found Grimlock in a laughing storm; chassis rising up and down with the stutters of a squeaky wheel.

Or when Thunderhoof is searching for Clampdown (oh boy…), the informant tried to muffled his whimpers, only for the mob boss finding him, resulting both running; one running for his life and the other ending his.

All the while Clampdown screaming in teapot, and Thunderhoof roaring like a busy farm tractor. You see what I did there ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Yesterday I was thinking about my platonic yandere tugs x reader wip story, and come up with these on how they interact with y/n:

If y/n either hanging around Star fleet or Zero fleet (depends on their predicament), they're very attentive with whatever you were chatting (and not using that information for their own benefits/definitely not use that against you)

They (both Star & Zero) think they're the perfect 'family' (in their delusional minds and you in the picture), in reality they're a big screwed up family (captains as the hierarchical fathers, tugs as the grown kids and y/n is the baby of the family).

Ten cents likes to take you anywhere (with him of course), and either Sunshine or Grampus tags along (and occasionally Hercules).

Captain Star appoints y/n as his assistant, fetching paperwork and helping him win contracts (same goes to Captain Zero if y/n managed to escape and be captured by him). Not only that, he also cuddles y/n like y/n were his own child.

Lillie & Grampus are often out of sight when y/n isn't looking and spy on them (also tell the Star Tugs what y/n is planning if they plan on escaping)

In times when Ten cents is extremely busy and scared that y/n will get hurt during his shift, he pawns them to other Star Tugs who aren't busy/off of their shifts.

If Tophat and y/n are alone, he lifts his wheelhouse with y/n sitting on top. If anyone saw them, he’ll quickly deny and subtly threaten them.

The Z-stacks initially were making snide comments towards y/n, but quick to apologize desperately if y/n started to cry or gets super angry that they refused to speak to them.

Let's start off with my all time favorite!

Strongarm

What do I like about her? hmm... EVERYTHING!

From her strong and buff physique (it's nice to see more frame variants in femmes, WE NEED THEM HASBRO!), her boundless energy, to her impressive memorization of protocols and their numbers. A tough, but smart cookie.

 I’m not sure about you guys, but I’ll spend HOURS listening to her just rambling about regulations on a car ride while nodding like an idiot. Gosh, I’m starting to fall for her…

Fixit

Fixit, Fixit, Fixit, my sweet wholesome minicon bean!

Adorable dude, a cheery character that I adored when seeing him on screen. Had a chuckle when he glitched out when he was about to say certain words in dyes- mics- rhymes! Regardless, dude helped his team out in every way. He’s the team’s technician and repairman, basically the backbone, even pulling out profiles of the Alchemor’s escapees via ship’s computers. 

I remember one episode where my dude is brawling a shady manager of an ex-champion (while I cheered on at 3 am) or in another episode where my dude’s original programming kicked in and turned into a terminator, but a prison guard… it doesn’t really help that there's about 100+ minicons like him (tbh I don’t know the total numbers)… do what you will with this information…

Thunderhoof

The mafia boss, angry moose on the loose, boss... babe

Bastard reminded me of those stereotypical noir film mafia bosses (it doesn’t really help that there’s him eating pizza in an official art piece… help…), and I'm not wrong. Plus his appearance and voice is… enamored to say the least…

Bro sounds pissed and will be pissed if something doesn’t go in his way, or someone doing stupid shit. Come on, this huge antler jockey is a freaking crime boss, so of course why wouldn’t he be pissed? He wouldn’t stop until he got what he wants, whether going back to cybertron, leadership, or objects of interest (and shredding someone to pieces, I’m talking about you, Clampdown! You sniveling snitch!).

Jetstorm & Slipstream

My Sweet Bun 1 & Sweet Bun 2, I love you both to death!

Both him and Slipstream are freaking cute (look me straight in the eye and tell me otherwise), and both are nearly the same height as a grown man (source? A screenshot I took for references in future digital drawings).

Jetstorm is a bit more creative than Slipstream and Drift combined, but a bit as well impulsive (which can lead him to trouble with Drift). Overall, he and other Minicons are adorable and if they committed crimes, I'll excuse them.

I’m going to repeat what I said about Drift’s minicons earlier, both are freaking adorable! Unlike Jetstorm, Slipstream is more chill and prefers to follow his master’s instructions. Despite the contrasting personalities, these two are a force to be trifled with via teamwork! Mess with one, get wrecked by the other! Perish!

Wildbreak

Gotta love the dude, timid but nice. Before ever seeing on screen, I read some posts that headcanoned him as the sparkling of Knockout and Breakdown. After that, I can see why. Cute tho!

Alright I’m not beating a bush, this mf is attractive as fock!

At any dang episode I’m watching, the scheming wolf always makes me smile as if I’m happy to see him! (well duh, I am!) 

He knows how to capture attention with that soft, yet alluring charismatic voice, offering compliments, and seems nice… except that shit he’s doing is an illusion, and will stab you in the back if there’s an opportunity! Brother nearly had me in the first half, not gonna lie. This dude knows how to wrap people in his claw, or if that fails, time to off them in the name of his future empire!

Nightra

Oh my god… Nightra is something…

How did she and Strongarm become friends? Both are competitive, yet polar opposites of each other. Don’t get me wrong, I like her as well, so playful, carefree, and mischievous (even that leads her to trouble and ultimately her going rogue).

Aside from her similar buffy appearance like Strongarm (omgistarttofallforbuffywomen), her voice is… soothing to hear, yet not AND IT MADE ME BLUSH!!! THEY PICKED A GOOD VA FOR THE JOB! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I had to go to dreamland (lalalalalalala)

Shadowraker

Another attractive mf, and bastard (derogatory)

Fucker has good aesthetics (color wise and design), if charsmatic is a aroma, it’s him with a dark aura. Twisting innocent bots into their rotten former shells, yeah this is what this dude does after his ‘shadows’ brought in the stolen goods in exchange for shelter and guidance. Mmm, moral corruption…

I like you Shadowmaru-err Shadowraker, but I don’t like you at the same time. I remember when you kidnapped my fave minicons and promised that you would punish them for betraying you! (glad you got boxed on the pede, ya jerk!) Glad karma bit you in the ass!

Most of 'em hate baths, they refuse to go to the car wash to clean they’re (obviously) dirty shell and rather smell like trash (the only one that bathes is Grimlock and also wrestles them in the shower one at a time, at least the humans are easier to deal with)

Bumblebee is often seen the the distance, plotting … then being interrupted by Sideswipe and Strongarm (doing dumb shenanigans as usual)

Drift and his minicons are probably unpredictable, in one minute they argue, the next is fighting whoever they pick, and next taking naps

Out of all the Stingers, Grimlock is the only bot Bumblebee ever trusted and confined to. The rest are a pain in the aft

Strongarm is chaotic and a bit unhinged (it's not like she blew her old academy, the very one that exiled her aft for cheating... yes, she did...), also very petty and sly whenever she wants.

In a slow day or there isn’t any bothersome Stinger tailing behind, both Bumblebee and the Clays play go fish and hike

Fixit is the equivalent of ‘three ounces of whoop ass’ if any members (coughcoughStrongarm’n’Sideswipe) messes with his latest creation

Good ol’ Rusty likes to nap on the shoulders of certain friends or lean on his pa

The Nasty Stingers are basically Steeljaw’s Pack copycats with a hints of whatever disease (potential showdown between bastards!? IT’S A MUST SEE!!!)

HURRY AND PLACE YOUR BETS BEFORE IT STARTS!

Pretty much, yeah.

Using a dank, dark, small room and isolating y/n is the Z-stacks’ way of controlling disciplining them to unwavering loyalty and silent obedience.

They love you dearly, but they don’t like you having a voice that makes them feel threatened. So why not making y/n’s world smaller ‘til they got them instead, and the Z-stacks would be with y/n… forever…

Is there anyone feeling sympathy towards y/n? Yes, there a few, namely Zeebede, Zug, Zip, & the Star Fleet.

Zeebede really yearned to help y/n in any way or lessen their suffering, he always be by y/n’s side and he is the only Z-stack that y/n would trust.

The Star Fleet, in the other hand, are already working on negotiating the Zero Fleet for y/n’s freedom (but it has yet to come as the Z-stacks are really hot-headed and unwilling, not to mention that they were almost as crazy as the Z-stacks)

Zug & Zip dislike y/n being the Dark room. Y/n seem like a fun person to be with and it sadden them. They try not to show it towards the others or they would be in dry dock.

Aside from Zeebede, Zip, & Zug, the other Z-stacks can hear you and dropped you food and a bit of water per request (plus ignoring your pleads of getting out). They don’t mostly talk to you, but they can for your mental status (bonus if they chase anyone who dare to approach their territory or be heard having a screaming match with the Star Mob).

For the misbehaviors (in the Z-stacks eyes), the most offensive is y/n wanting to return home (y/n’s homeworld, cause y/n came to theirs via golden portal).

Comparing the Z-stacks to the Star Tugs, then comparing them to their family and close friends, I say 4-9 1/2 hours of stay

Attempting to escape is 10 hours to 3 days

Literally Escaping is a 5 days to a week

The Z-stacks tried to be patient and refrain themselves from harming y/n, and this is the way to protect their Little Z from them.

Are they brutes and have violent tendencies? Yes, they are. Have one of them hurt y/n? Yes, Captain Zero slapped them once and promised to never let it happen again.

These are the reason why they put y/n to the Dark room, who knows when they lose their temper again. In the meantime, they’ll keep going with their current method.

Alright peeps [cracks fingers and knuckles], my overview opinions on Rid2015 ‘Cons:

Love each of their wacky designs, whether animal like or not (vehicons and insecticons included!). There’s a variety among them: bipedal, quarpedal, or to straight up slither like a snake. That right there is diversity! Plus we got some badass femmes!

Whether they be flyers, crawlers, grounders, or troublesome cyclones. Some have fire power, toxins, sub sonics, hypnotics, strength, etc.,

Each has their own way of speaking: rough, noir-like, gamer lingo, militia, posh, normal, or nonsense. More colorful than TF:Prime’s Decepticons (sorry tfp, my beloved), marking them more distinguishable. So much going on that I love about them!

When I checked out to remember their debut, they made me feel in a certain way, some made me laugh, others made me awe-strucked, and a few made me chill to the core when looking back to a particular episode. (Simacore, why the fuck did you (allegedly) murdered your minicons to make essentially zombie clone versions? Yo Steeljaw, why did you slaughter that Sharkticon if the rumors are true? Then where’s the evidence?)

What I don’t like, however, that when I go to tfwiki, didn’t have a list for one-time rogue Decepticons (like Zizza, Hammerstrike, Flich, Vertebreak, etc.) or Starscream’s henchmen on the Decepticon section (though I’m puzzled about RoughEdge and Nightra, but that’s another time).

Not to mention that weird amardillo commando Stockade, I don't really see why he had any substance to the show, yet again some episodes are side quests (like s2 & 3 in Prime). I genuinely don't like him at all...
