I’ve gone on and on about how Leo wants to be who Splinter finds is the ideal person (which just so happens to be Splinter’s ideal version of himself) but I have yet to really touch upon how Donnie is the one who most directly parallels Splinter himself to an honestly shocking degree, Raph’s taking from Splinter’s teachings and parenting has resulted in an unhealthy mixup in the different dynamics of a family versus a team, and Mikey is the one who is simultaneously the most focused on family and the most intrinsically himself which both leads to his better grasp of mystics and honestly what just might be the healthiest dynamic with Splinter.

May I present to you Sparkly Mario and Luigi! 😍❤️✨💚✨

These were part of a kids show that took place this afternoon at a department store from my town. They have this massive Christmas bow decoration on top of the building, and every year they host a show for kids, along with fireworks and other surprises, and this year the kids show was about Super Mario Bros. and it was the cutest shit 💖

The story is simple: everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom is getting ready for Christmas, until Bowser steals the Christmas Star, and without it, Santa Claus won't be able to see his way and no one will get their gifts, so Mario, Luigi and their friends must stop Bowser and retrieve the star.

They eventually manage to capture Bowser, just when Santa arrives where they are. The King of the Koopas reveals that he stole the star in revenge because since he was a kid, he always waited for Santa, but the latter never arrived; this was because Bowser has always been in the Naughty List due to his actions always endangering others, but this time Santa reveals that someone sent him a letter talking nice things about Bowser, and asking Santa to give him a gift this year. So Santa gives Bowser a cute microphone because he loves singing (like in the movie, lol), so Bowser thanks him. The twist? It was Luigi! It was freakin' Luigi the one who sent Santa the letter saying all of that nice shit about Bowser! It was him who sacrificed his right to a gift so Bowser could get one of his own this Christmas! And what does Bowser do when he learns this? JUST LOOK!

THEY HUGGED! These people knew what they were doing, hahahaha 😍😍😍🥹💚

Y'all, "Big Brawl - Part 1" was so funny to me. It's like sneaking into your dad's high school reunion and figuring out he—and also your grandpa, apparently??—was captain of the football team and the most popular kid in school. But wait! There's more! You also find out that he went toe to toe with the school's biggest baddest bully and had to be saved by Some Dude™️. And then, surprise! The principal likes your dad so much that he's gonna let you play on the football team, too. And the principal's son, who tried to kill you once, doesn't want to kill you anymore (sus) and wants to help you out (double sus).
