From my memory Dan Wootton was the first journalist to question mm's character (during the engagement) due to her relationships with her own family. In my opinion, it was noprah who dispatched celebs like John Tiegen to shut Dan up. I also remember an anonymous comedic post that created a fictionalized entry from the witch's "Burn Book":

Gene Hackman always played terrible evil bad guys, but he's such a lovely good dude in real life. He was on Richard Nixon's 'enemy list'. That alone makes him a good guy IRL. Lol

Oliver Reed is in this, his first American movie. Playing an American cowboy. His facial scars play well into it.

Characters with mismatched morals. The seemingly well-dressed rich rancher is a sadist and a gleeful angrymurder.

The gruff unkempt working class guy misunderstood as an outlaw, has the morals of an antihero, but a decent man that seems to respect lives of even the worst of his group.

The woman that willfully marries her rich rancher husband but seems to have learned he has no heat, he's secretly mean and sadistic. The outlaw kidnaps her to learn to read, but even in taking her he's more kind and tender than he disgusting husband. To the point that she'd rather be with and die with a man that's got a soul than her cold controlling hellish husband.

Conundrum. I love it when the balance is turned upside down and inside out. Nobody is innocent. But there's definitely someone guiltier and filthier than the other.

Semmerwater, more usually spelt ‘Semerwater’, is a large lake in Yorkshire. Watson’s poem explores the local legend of wealthy inhospitality cursed, leading to a once mighty castle and its town sinking beneath the lake’s waters.

Lake Semerwater is in Ryedale and is half a mile long. It is a tourist attraction and has been designated a feature of scientific interest. Of the sunken city, however, there is no sign.

• He really wants to marry his s/o, move to a lovely town somewhere in England and raise a bunch of kids together. He dreams of taking his child(ren) to a park and playing tag with them and building a house and a garden with them.

• Maybe things won't go as badly as he always assumed they would. And if they do, he won't have to deal with them alone... not again.

• He wants nothing more than to be close to his partner, but he also doesn't want to burden them or get in the way of their dreams. His hopes for their future are like a messy pile of his notes and notebooks.

• John craves stability and consistency in his life, but he's rarely able to provide it for himself. He worries that his constant changes of career and hobbies will make his partner question their future together, though he also knows that he cannot and will not compromise on wanting to be with them.

• He struggles to find a middle ground between his desire for happiness and his desire for purpose. Deep down, though, all he really wants is to be able to wake up every morning, see their beautiful face next to him, and feel complete.

• John, in the end, tends to side with wanting a family of his own. But he isn't one to put his desires on his partner, and more so hopes that they will come to the decision on their own.

• He wants children someday, or so he believes, but only if it will make his S/O happy. He is deeply in love and is always happy to make his partner happy at the cost of his own happiness. In theory, anyway. When his partner is happy everything is good in the world. If he is happy is an afterthought.

Very fun commission for @fruitviking of Holmes and Watson, based on 'Hellelil and Hildebrand, the Meeting on the Turret Stairs" by Frederic William Burton

This was really fun to do/figure out how to adapt. Ended up getting to use the facade of the Sherlock Holmes museum on Bakerstreet as a backdrop so that was neat! (If you're ever in London go check it out, they've replicated the flat and everything)

Sometimes I feel like I don't even deserve to see him on my phone's screen. He's so beautiful with his long/medium unruly curls with the darkest of blue mixed along with black. His eyelashes that can rival a little deer. He's so freakishly tall but somehow seems like a tall child stuck in an adult body. He's such a goofy little guy but he's also the smartest man in the room given any situation (minus if his brother is there sorry Sherly).

I like how he's so passionate about everything, be that chemistry, literature or music...oh his music! I wonder if Sherlock ever sits at his desk writing music sheets over his violin and wishes if he could play all the stringed instruments. The way he is, he probably tried. I'm sure John gets most of his rants when Sherlock is fixed on a topic. I wonder if William got to see this beautiful side of Sherlock during those three years they spend in New York. I wonder if Mycroft was the one who got him into music when he couldn't give him time because of the age gap so Sherlock became dependent on this particular hobby to distract himself. I wonder if he ever wanted to compose the music he wrote. I wish our little detective was real.

I hope he knows John forgave him for his absence. That John only wants him safe and sound.

And I hope he knows his brother was mourning him. That it's about time they offer eachother closure. That his brother loves him.

And most importantly, I hope he knows his Liam views him as hope. That William will burn the world once again if something happens to him. He's the only remaining light in William's life and always will be. They don't ever have to go through something alone ever again, be that tragic or beautiful. They have eachother.

It's so satisfying the way Milverton, the blackmail king who specializes in finding out people's secrets, is brought down by something that was not a secret at all.

He had no clue William and Sherlock had met.

And yet, each time they had was in a very public setting.

the Noahtic: Okay, only a few people saw them interact. But it was a high profile event. It would have been easy to find out they were both there.

The train: Passengers and staff of the train saw and interacted with them. sherlock even ran across the car to sit with William and Louis.

Durham university: Sherlock took a test, walked with William, sat in on a lecture, and had lunch with him. And then found Bill and went back to William's office. And then, they went together to get Bill enrolled in the university.

It would be so easy to have found that these two knew each other.

But Milverton just.....hasn't got a clue.
