theyre twins the boy is Xueshe and the girl is Puzui… they r Liyue characters :3 specifically illuminated beasts!

they r so tragic i think ive talked ab them a bit before but buddy ive written a like 4000+ word Ongoing masterdoc of their lore and design analysis. with several playlists. im not fucking around with these guys

basically they were. mitosis’d by Cloud Retainer and fought in the archon war and the cataclysm and ended up being Khaenri’ah sympathizers so Celestia astrally projected them into the Abyss for 500 years until they both nearly went insane and the Puzui DID go insane and lose all her memories and they break free during the upcomimg lantern rite so 😜 cant wait to see 4.4 play out and alter their lives

Xueshe’s design is waaay less thought out than Puzuis tbh i dont feel that he looks like a genshin character and i know i could do more to achieve that but. ykw xiao can have all the visual complexity in their relationship idc. um he kinda maybe has a hanfu shirt. his shirt could be tied up like hes doing archery but hes. a sword character. also hes supposed to have the same glove that Xiao does to hold their visions because i loove when matching/swapping/sharing items is used as a visual representation of a relationship idk. and he has a little fox friend named Nezha because hes a protection deity

Puzui’s has a lot of choices based on forget me nots (also called scorpion grass which influenced her hair) and me genuinely referencing hanfu and qipao.. altho ive come to the conclusion her qipao looks way more like an ao dai with the pants LOL um also her Huadian (forehead makeup) is supposed to be a forget me not and the dots on her brow and dimples are called Huadian or MianYe :3

the pibo (the silk behind Puzui) and the lingzhi (Xueshe’s headpiece) are used in folklore art and opera respectively but i thought that they would be a really interesting way to call back on how theyre like from a diff time period yk. even tho just their outfits do that but WTVRRR also the lingzhi is used for good looking generals in opera and ykw. he IS a good looking general.

theyre also classing pyro and cryo siblings yaaay overall theyre just designed to be opposites yet very similar you know how it is. when your sibling is your narrative foil when you and your sibling are doomed by the narrative

um their illuminated beast forms were also deisgned with chinese mythological creatures in mind… Puzui’s is loosely based on the Fuzhu and Xueshe’s is even more loosely based on the Tianma.. i just wanted a clydesdale ill be honest

dont get mad at me but i feel like if worm considered someone a danger to the band he wouldnt be friends with them. like that nathan bakker guy seems a little creepy to me but he appears to just kinda be confident, lucky and wealthy enough to go to a lot of events and seek out the band there. surely mcr's bodyguard wouldn't be chatting with him if we was an actual threat. and fwiw i don't think worm teasing upcoming mcr stuff is fully out of the question but he can be a bit of a clout chaser and some mcr fans are very quick to treat things he says and does as messages directly from the band. and i think "worm directly teases an upcomimg mcr album for real but when a known mcr stalker dms him about it he denies everything to cover his tracks (as opposed to just ignoring the dm)" is a highly unlikely scenario :/

TRAVELOGUE

It was December of 2022 when me and my friends decided to hang-out together to enjoy the upcomimg Christmas. Initially, we were thinking of going to a food trip, but we inevitably decided to go to Star City. We originally planned to have all 4 of us go, but only 3 of us were allowed to go. Despite that, we pushed our plans and continued. Since none of us knew the way to Star City, we made a mistake of taking a massive detour to Sangandaan to take the LRT station there to the Vito Cruz station instead of just taking the LRT from the Abad Santos station. It was a big mistake but we had a lot of fun during the detour. Upon reaching Vito Cruz, we decided to eat in a nearby McDonald's and rest a bit. Afterwards, we asked nearby people for directions and tips to get to Star City. We inevitably reached Star City and immediately went to a ride called Surf Dance. Now, I'm not really good with theme park rides, in fact, I have an extreme case of motion sickness. So of course, this ride took a massive toll out of me. After the ride, we decided to roam around Star City and we took a photograph together from one of the photo booths in the area. Afterwards, we decided to ride the Vikings and when I say it took my soul away, I mean it. I felt my soul leave my body multiple times in the 5 minute duration we were in the ride. I hopped off the ride with shaking legs and holding onto my friend. We decided to rest after this and ate some snacks. After what felt like an eternity of headache and dizziness, we realized that it was getting late, and since our home was far and would take us around an hour or more to get home, we decided to head out. Due to the amount of people that are also going home, it took us an extra hour to find a ride to go home, though we eventually found one and got home safely. I'm slightly disappointed with myself for having motion sickness and I apologized to my friends about this but they said they were totally fine with it and they enjoyed our time together. I honestly hope we can do this again in the future.
