Thanksgiving Special - Best Anime Families of 2022
Thanksgiving Special – Best Anime Families of 2022
Hello and welcome back to Otaku Thursday! And more importantly, welcome back to our annual Thanksgiving special. Now, while we’re both not exactly down with celebrating a day that celebrates conquerors, we do enjoy spending time with our families–both chosen and blood. Which is why we’re essentially saying screw turkey and feasts, let’s talk about what really matters: family. And more…
The 24th ward utilizes a special surveillance system, Hazard Cast, that predicts accidents before they happen. However, it isn’t a perfect system. A long time ago Asami’s high school caught on fire and she died. Her passing had a great impact on her friends Ran and Shuuta, and her brother Kouki. Ran, Shuuta, and Kouki were quite close friends, but after Asami, they grew apart. Ran works on his dream to be a famous street artist, Kouki helps manage Hazard Cast, and Shuuta is still stuck in the past. After the trio reunite to commemorate the loss’ from the fire, they receive a strange phone call from what seems to be Asami’s voice. The group is shown the future, but will they be able to change it’s course?
So, while I was doing my Japanese, I got distracted with my own thoughts (as per usual) and started zoning out.
Of course, when I zone out while doing stuff, I tend to find memories or imagine scenarios that have to do with what I'm doing.
And when I came to a sentence with the word blue in it, I immediately thought of Tokyo 24th Ward.
Why?
Because blue in Japanese is "aoi," (I'm not finding the characters for that) and a character in Tokyo 24th Ward is named Shuta Aoi.
And his hair is blue.
And I just thought that was interesting.
So yeah.
That's the entire point of this post.
Interesting naming in an anime.
(Also, the other two main characters (who's names I can't remember) don't really follow this trend, as the red haired one's name kinda means "red tree" or something like that, and the green haired one's name doesn't have anything to do with the color green. (I think))
Currently fixating over this dude from #Tokyo24thWard Also the ED was out on iTunes!! Its a strange anime, but they keep catching me at the en of each episode!
Today's disabled character of the day is Kuchikiri (0th) from Tokyo 24th Ward, who has dyslexia and a facial scar

Mystery, science fiction, and superheroes are the genres of Tokyo's 24th Ward. Ran Akagi, Shuta Aoi, and Koki Suido are the primary figures. The 24th Ward of Tokyo tells the tale of the RGB Team. It is called CloverWorks. In the winter of 2022, the premiere took place.
