Sorry for not being able to post for a while as I had to prepare for the graduation ceremony 🙇💦.

It was the graduation ceremony of Toho Gakuen Graduate School.

Unfortunately, my piano teacher couldn't come to the graduation ceremony due to work commitments.
Tumblr media
I took a commemorative photo with my favorite teacher. I have been studying vocal music with Mami Koshigoe since my second year of university.
When I sing Tosti songs, I feel like I'm floating in the sky, and I love the special world that only appears when I'm singing. When I play, I am able to think from both the perspective of the song and the perspective of the piano, and my world of music has expanded greatly. Before the graduation ceremony, I was able to listen to Professor Mami Koshigoe's Ikebukuro Sunshine Lunchtime Concert on March 10th. The person sitting in front of me said, ``It cleanses my soul✨,'' and I deeply agreed. There were a variety of genres, and I was excited and excited while listening to them. The uplifting rhythmic music of the jazz piano made me feel like I was traveling to a world full of scenery, which made my heart feel lighter. I listened to the song ``Song of Life'' with tears in my eyes. When the concert ended, it felt like I had been on an epic journey, and I was filled with emotion, as if I could see the sunset in my heart.

Mothers’ day
Tumblr media
You can see Yae Riruka, my Koe no Katachi OC as a 27-years old young mom with her triplets Ishida Ryu, Shiro and Ichi (from left to right). Yae Riruka was the Student Council President in Ishida's school who gave up her life as a musician prodigy and sacrificed herself to protect her peers - and her younger sister - from bullying. After her sister was attacked by some bullies and lost her eyesight due to it, she quit the Toho Gakuen Elite Music School of Tokyo and dedicated her life to atone for her crime. She was transferred into Shouya's school where due to her family's fame and influence and her wittiness, she became popular pretty soon, popular enough to be elected to the position of the Student Council's leader. The once rebellious and wild rascal girl renders herself into an untouchable "Ice Queen" and with her newly gained influence she picked up the fight against the bullying at high school. Above two of her closest friends, none of the other students know her at all, she keeps her personal life in top secret. Besides her blind little sister, Riruka keeps her soft side hidden behind her mask of ice, keeping everyone far away from her heart. Deep inside, she is a soft girl who is deeply romantic with a heart of gold. Leading the Student Council, taking care of her sister while she is fighting against her deadly disease, chronic leukemia. And as an addition, she has a budding crush on the former bully called Ishida Shouya. She doesn't confess her feelings to him from one hand because she thinks that she doesn't deserve happiness for what's happened to her sister in the past. Self-hatress and pain weightens her shoulder, she blames herself for the attack on her younger sister. From the other hand:she knows that she is dying and she doesn't want to make Ishida suffer. After she discovered the rising mutual interest between the boy and the silent girl, Nishimiya Shouko, she has decided to aid Shouya to get closer to Shouko-chan even though it breaks her heart. How did the plain Ishida caught her attention? And how did they became a family after Riruka was denied by her own father? How did she survive leukemia? Stay tuned.

This is with a heavy heart we announce that our very dear friend and one of the most influential figures in the world of classical music, Maestro Seiji Ozawa, passed away peacefully at his home in Tokyo on February 6th at the age of 88.
Citizen of the world, as he liked to call himself, his talent knew no bounds. Seiji's legacy resonates across generations, leaving an indelible mark on the global musical landscape.
Born in Shenyang, China, in 1935, Seiji's musical journey began at a young age, guided by a passion for excellence and an unwavering dedication to his craft. He honed his skills at the Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo before venturing to Europe where he won the Besançon International Orchestra Conductors competition .
Seiji's meteoric rise to prominence saw him assume leadership roles with prestigious orchestras worldwide, including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, and notably, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where he served as Music Director for an illustrious 29 years. In Europe, he forged very close ties with the Berlin Philharmonic and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and in Japan he created the Saito Kinen Orchestra in 1992 in honor to his teacher Hideo Saito. With France among so many projects, with the Paris Opera he created with Olivier Messiaen “Jean François d’Assise” in 1983 and with Henri Dutilleux the “Shadows of Time” and “Le temps, l’horloge” with the Orchestre national de France.
Throughout his career, Seiji's conducting style was characterized by its dynamism, precision, and an unparalleled ability to breathe life into every note.
Beyond his conducting prowess, Seiji Ozawa was a tireless advocate for music education, spearheading initiatives to nurture young talent and inspire future generations of musicians. His commitment to fostering a love for music among the youth remains a cornerstone of his enduring legacy. He created in 2000, in Japan, the Ongaku Juku Music Academy and in 2004, in Switzerland,  the Seiji Ozawa International Academy .
He made a profound impact on the world of classical music and deeply touched countless lives through his artistry. Though he may no longer stand before the orchestra, his spirit will forever resonate in the timeless melodies he brought to life and the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to experience his brilliance.
Seiji's passing leaves a void in the realm of classical music, but his legacy will continue to echo through the ages, inspiring countless musicians and enriching the lives of audiences for years to come.
All our thoughts go to his family.
This has been the greatest honor to be by your side all these years .
Rest in eternal harmony, dear Seiji. Your baton may be still, but your music will live on forever.

Muto Tomu’s Interview for Setagaya Kanko (Sightseeing) Site
web: http://www.kanko-setagaya.jp/?p=we-page-entrylist&spotlist=17616&type=special
A special project “Enjoy! SETAGAYA” whereby a celebrity who has an affinity with Setagaya introduce their recommended spots in Setagaya.
The fourth one is Muto Tomu-san. She is an AKB48 member and in the World Senbatsu Sousenkyo 2018 she achieved Kami7 (rank 7th), Muto-san is impressive. In fact, she went to Seijo Gakuen since junior high school and becomes a Seijo native. Muto-san will introduce her memorable spots and favorite shops.
-      Muto-san must be familiar with Seijo.
I went to Seijo for junior high school, senior high school, and university, therefore I have a lot of memories. I am very familiar with the town. Recently, the buildings of junior high school and high school has been renewed and it becomes beautiful. I have mixed feelings about it because it becomes more beautiful after I graduated. Lol.
-      Since you have spent your time since junior high school in Seijo, does Muto-san have any recommendations in Seijo?
Although it is ordinary, it would be the symbol of Seijo town “Gingko Trees”. It is very beautiful to take a picture of it. It looks like someone laying a yellow carpet, it is very instagrammable! You should come during the autumn leaf season.
It is interesting to walk around the residential area of Seijo, there are also many hidden spots. The shopping centre attached to the station “Seijo Corti” has a rooftop with a pleasant and beautiful scenery, I often went there and chatted with my friends.  You can also see Mount Fuji when the weather is nice. I would recommend this place also because we can hardly see a direct scenery of train track in a city like we do at this place. In winter, the illumination is beautiful, I want to enjoy the surrounding scenery together with you.
Then, the TOHO Studio, when I have a work there, I will be delighted to say that “my school is near!”.
-      Are there any recommended sweets or gourmet spots in Seijo?
There are many of them and I am troubled, but as for sweets, of course, it will be “Seijo Alpes” and “Seijo Anya”. It is a famous place for souvenirs, when someone brings you this it looks luxurious, and you will feel “Ah!”. I appeared on Seijo Gakuen’s 100th Anniversary event and they gave me this as a treat. The top recommendation for Seijo’s sweets is this!
I also love the Chinese food from “Keifa”. I love the noodles and I eat it a lot, the Sura Tanmen is very delicious. Of course, all of them are delicious and I also eat the other menus, but of course, the Sura Tanmen seems to be popular. There will always be a queue during lunch time, there are large round tables in the store, somehow it brings back memories. AKB member who loves gourmet, Iwatate Saho-chan told me, “I want to try to go to this shop”.
-      Are there any other memorable places aside from Seijo?
Next to Seijo Gakuen Mae, there is Soshigaya Okura Station’s “Ultraman Shopping Street”. I often go there because it is close to my school.
Then, I often go to “Futakotamagawa Rise” with my friends. Something like window shooping and having tea at upper floor. I had a memory of running in Futakotamagawa because junior high and high school there is an annual marathon tournament at Futakotamagawa’s river bank. I was supposed to run 6 times during the whole 6 years of my junior and high schools, but it was cancelled three times due to rain. For me who is not good at running, it was great. Lol.
Now, something that I am interested in Futakotamagawa is the French restaurant “Tokio Plage Lunatique”, I heard it is cheap and delicious. French restaurant seems to be expensive, but here is all self-service. Instead, it is very cheap and serves authentic cuisine that we can enjoy, I would love to go there.
-      Do you also go to Shimokitazawa, the popular town alongside Futakotamagawa?
There are many pharmacies in Shimokita (Shimokitazawa), thus I often go there when I am looking for cosmetics. Previously, I went to Shimokita to watch Oshima Yuko-san’s stage play. It is a fun city to stroll around. When I enter an alley and go to a variety store, I will buy accessories at that kind of place. But, when I was in junior high and high school, I rarely bought expensive items, thus I looked for costumes for the dance club at Shimokitazawa’s thrift store.
-      Then, last one, what do you think about Setagaya and Seijo?
When we talk about Setagaya, there are many shopping streets and it looks like a working-class neighborhood. But there are also greenery at such a lively place, there are nearby places to take a breath. The appeal would be that the proximity between city and nature are close.
Seijo has a lot of students, there are also big houses. It might make you feel awkward to go there, but I believe slowly you will feel relax in this town. There are many fashionable places and shops, it will be fun more than you imagined. Among them, the “sakura tree” is particularly impressive. The petals are fluttering on the school entrance ceremony season, that is beautiful. I was also nervous on the junior high school’s entrance ceremony because it was a new school for me, but the sakura was very beautiful. When I looked at that, I believed it would be a great day, I felt brighter. I felt like it would go well.
I wonder if I was encouraged by sakura.
-      It was such a wonderful memory. Thank you for today

Tokyo Architecture Designs – chronological list
6 Oct 2020 Metsä Pavilion opens in Tokyo – a showcase of elegant design and fast offsite construction with wooden elements
The elegant Metsä Pavilion highlights innovative architecture based on industrially manufactured wooden elements. The pavilion was built fast and is now ready to host events organised by Business Finland and Finnish businesses. During the Summer Olympics and Paralympics, the Metsä Pavilion will serve as a home base for the Finnish national teams. Using Metsä Wood’s Kerto LVL as the main material made the construction fast, light and green.
The official opening of the Metsä pavilion, located on the grounds of Finnish embassy in Tokyo, will be held on 6 October. The Pavilion stays open until the end of 2021, hosting various events organised by Finnish companies and organisations. The Metsä Pavilion is Business Finland’s project with Metsä Group as the main partner.
“We are happy that many companies have decided to bring their events to the Metsä Pavilion, where wood meets nature scenery on the walls, world-class audio, and design furniture – all from Finland”, says Petri Tulensalo, Head of Sports Cluster at Business Finland.
Industrially efficient wood construction
The Metsä Pavilion is a showcase of how to construct a stylish building quickly and efficiently by using standard elements. The Pavilion was designed by renowned Finnish architectural office Helin & Co. Architects. The designs for all the elements used in the Pavilion are freely available on Metsä Wood’s Open Source Wood platform.
“We value the freedom of the architects and engineers to design in an aesthetically pleasing way. With our Open Source Wood Initiative we want to enable them with a variety of options”, explains Jussi Björman, Director, Business Development, Constructionat Metsä Wood.
The Metsä Pavilion makes the benefits of using prefabricated Kerto LVL (laminated veneer lumber) elements apparent. The elements were manufactured by a Finnish company, Timberpoint. The production of all the wooden columns, beams, and elements took only seven weeks at the factory.
The assembly of the Pavilion at the construction site was quick. It took only ten days, thanks to the lightweight wooden elements. Additionally, the great workability of Kerto LVL brought rapidness to the process. Puurakentajat was responsible for the construction.
The connections of the Metsä Pavilion are designed so that the building can be disassembled and assembled again at a new location.
Sustainably from Finnish forests
The raw materials for the Kerto LVL used in the Metsä Pavilion comes from sustainably managed Finnish forests where the forests grow more than they are used. Every part of each tree is used in the best possible way, therefore almost nothing goes to waste. By-products like sawdust and bark are utilised, for example, as bioenergy in the production of Kerto LVL.
As with all wood products, Kerto LVL stores carbon throughout the whole lifespan of the buildings built with it.
An end-result to be proud of
The Metsä Pavilion has met the expectations of Business Finland and Metsä Wood. The pavilion is proof that stylish buildings can be constructed efficiently from prefabricated wooden elements.  “Historically, the pavilion is one of the biggest investments Business Finland has made in the Japanese market. It is also a great way to contribute to the success of the games, and the Japanese really respect it”, says Tulensalo from Business Finland.
