CHARACTER INTRODUCTION

She was born one of the

lasts heirs to the throne of Mandalore. Growing up as the

secret child of her parents,

however didn't last long.

Due to a trader giving her identity to the new formed government The Galactic Empire.

Only having a normal childhood for

two years, she barely remembered.

Her new life began on the planet Tatooine in hiding with her mother.

Having a simple life of home schooling like every child would go

through. Also she was to be trained

as a Jedi like her mother before her.

Wanting to keep her Mandalorian

Culture alive her mother made sure she fought like one too.

This however made Ricki fight rough and used her emotions more during

combat. Causing a fear of her falling to the dark side in her. Due to her mother, Reina, being extra protective over her. It made It made the young Naberrie a trouble

marker. She'd always sneak out and

rob new travelers of extra credits in their pockets.

Ricki used the extra

credits to help her mother pay for

bills, food, clothes, etc. She just lied

and said she got a job helping the Lars with their farm work. No one

on the dust bowl of the planet was

looking to hire a scrawny teenager

unless she wanted to go work for

the Hutts. Believe the force, she

wishes she could run her fist

through the whole Hutt

Clans.

With the force on her side, she never got caught by the wrong person. She just got caught by her mother one night when she found out Ricki never had a job. The two broke out into a fight that changed their relationship. She went to her room and her mind was just running. Her mother was holding her back. She was powerful could take on anyone or anything in the galaxy. She could be the change the galaxy needed.

Early the next morning, Ricki was on the transport and off the transport and off the planet to Coruscant.

She was 16 and alone.

While on the run she ran into an

order 66 survior named Quinlan

Vos, he gave her the chance to stay

with him for a week. Soon it became

3 weeks, 4 weeks then it became a whole year.

They bounty hunted

together and he taught her more about the force. He became like a

big brother to her. Vos endded up

leaving her behind on a job, where

he said he would come back for her.

He never did. So she had to fight for

herself. That night she was arrested for crimes against the Empire. She had a small trial and was to be sent to do mining work on Llum. However, her punished was changed to maintenance work.

She worked on a Star Destroyer in the lower levels for about a month until she was saved by a group of

undercover rebels. From there she

was taken to the Massassi Outpost

on Yain 4. Where she was asked for

any information. She gave small things she knew and new codes she

learned form small talks with the

officers.

Ricki felt a connection to of

the man who rescued her.

He later introduced himself as her father.

At first she wanted nothing to do with him as time passed she learned they shared some of the same hobbies. The two tried to make up for lost time.

Ricki started helping the Rebellion,

doing small work for Bail Organa.

She became his spy.

Getting sent to take down threats that might think of joining the Empire.

She took down worthless men or women who were slave owners.

Freeing the slaves. She was given the nickname 'The Kere' (kere is huttese for killer of evil) by the people.

Later, she

worked for Leia Organa for when

she needed something done but

couldn't at her hands dirty or to

find more Intel on the empire. Even

working with the Ghost

Crew at times.

After the fall of the first

Death Star, she reconnected with her mother. The two rebuilt their relationship together and after the war together and after the war she

followed her mother to try and rebuild Mandalore.

Bradley: Well…they wanted to bring war to The Source so that their fellow Voidsent, who knew not death given how corrupted their world became, could finally pass on…I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re trying to get that here as well, and are working against our enemies to get what they need for that plan…as for why they’re leaving, again, I suspect Rubicante is ordering them to, being the leader of them in Golbez’s absence it seems. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have left, especially not Cagnazzo. So…it’s not them being cowardly, but legitimately just following their de facto leader’s plan…whatever it is…

(That probably wasn’t what Jackrow was expecting to hear. Meanwhile…)

Rubicante, at the Four Fiend’s base: I take it your distractions worked?

Barbariccia: Yes, though the ones who call themselves the Survior’s Rebellion are going to prove the most annoying obstacles in our path, I know it.

Scarmiglione: They have the Warrior of Light at their ssssside, what elssse did you expect?

Cagnazzo: I’m just hoping we get more battles with them. It’s a shame I had to go, I was really getting into it!

Barbariccia: I suppose we do have more interesting opponents here…

Scarmiglione: Isss that all you two think about? Fighting?

Rubicante: Enough. We know more of what we’re up against now. Soon, I shall see how this Survivor’s Rebellion fights personally, though they deserve a sufficient break before then. For now and when I do that, you three should destroy as many of those obsidian portals as you can, all if possible.

Scarmiglione: Very well…

Barbariccia: If I can get even a chance to get back at those other annoying things in our way, then I accept.

Cagnazzo: Yeah! There’s more fighting to be had at them, so I will get on with that!

Rubicante: Very well. Now go, all of you. I have preparations to make while the rebels rest, so they get their rest.

(The Four Fiends would prove non-idle)

Uzi: Next time we see them, I'm gonna knock one of their teeth out and-N, who the hell are those guys?

Serial designation N: These guys are apart of I.M.P! And...I don't actually know why they're here, I think they're just lost.

I’ve had this post about Gendry simmering in the back of my mind for some time now. What is his signifcance to the plot of Season 8 and why did D&D bring him back?

Gendry has many loose plot threads connected to him and many of them need to be resolved and are important to the story that the show has been building.

But first, let’s go back.

We first meet Gendry in 1x04 Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things during Ned Stark’s CSI King’s Landing investigation of Jon Arryn’s death.

It’s this scene that sets up Gendry’s long running importance to the plot and why D&D kept him in their back pockets.

It’s in this scene we learn a few things.

Ned recongizes Gendry’s parentage upon sight as he knew Robert when he was young and in his prime. It also informs us that Gendry has more than a passing resemblance to his father reinforcing Jon Arryn’s “the seed is strong” ramblings.

How many by the end of Season 7 would have known Robert then? I’d say not very many. The generation of Ned and Robert is all but gone due to war and other nefarious incidents. But there are some important contenders:

All 3 living Lannisters

Lord Varys

Howland Reed

Bran

Beric Dondarrion

Sandor Celgane

There are people who can back-up and confrim Gendry’s claim. Arya, of course, knows that the Gold Cloaks were looking for him and that Jon Arryn and her father met him and asked him questions. Davos is his greatest champion and he had been in Stannis Baratheon’s confidence.

We also get this beautiful gem of foreshadowing:

“If the day ever comes when that boy would rather wield a sword than forge one you send him to me” - Ned Stark, collector of royal bastards c. 298 AC

We know from the trailer Gendry is now in Winterfell in the forge and has fought beside the Ned Starkiest of all of the Starks -- Jon Snow.

Interestingly in the next episode 1x05 The Wolf and the Lion we find out that Varys has been working with Illyrio Mopatis and knows that Ned met with one of the bastards (amongst other things and possibly dropped plot points). Funnily enough, it is Arya who overhears this conversation while hiding in the skull of Balarion the Black Dread . Arya is connected to Gendry before they even meet six episodes later.

The show doesn’t explicitly mention it and I don’t believe it’s outright stated in the books either but Varys more than likely is the reason why Gendry was sent to Yoren and meant to go to the Wall. Varys is a smart man and could tell which way the wind was blowing. He may not have been able to save all of Robert’s bastard children but he may have had a hand in saving at least one.

The short answer to Gendry’s importance is Arya. He’s directly linked to her story and in a sense he’s her reward for coming home. Arya is going to struggle with herself and her identity this season. Having to chose between the part of her that thirsts for revenge and her heart. I think Gendry is going to play a huge role in not only the end result for Arya but in making her realize there’s a conflict in the first place between her wants and her desires. ForgeSex2k19

Gendry is a secondary character to this whole thing. His role is supporting but it’s important:

The last survior of the purge of Robert’s bastards and the last one standing with a direct claim in the Baratheon name.

“You will help kings rise and fall” Knowing that D&D specifically told Joe that they would bring him back makes this quote from Melisandre all the more interesting.

Gendry, Jon and Daenerys are the last children of the main figures of the Rebellion that broke the kingdom and will be the ones to save it and rebuild it.

Gendry would force Daenerys to keep her word about making a new world. Would she punish the son of the man who killed her brother and usurped her family’s rule? Would she offer the ancesteral Baratheon seat to Gendry thereby allowing him to reestablish House Baratheon?

Reestablishing the obliterated and disgraced House Baratheon could be a political boon for Daenerys (and Jon).

(It would also be an echo of Aegon giving Orys Baratheon permission to establish the house from the collapse of House Durrandon. And if the rumors are to be believed Orys was a Targaryen bastard).

Daenerys and Gendry are cousins. This bastard boy is family to her by blood and Daenerys spent so much time alone without a relation to her in the world (or stuck with Viserys) would she quick to harm or shun him?

And of course, over all this Gendry is a blacksmith. He apprenticed under Tobho Mott who is one of the few who knows how to work with Valyrian steel. In the show Gendry is the only character that’s of any importance that is related to smithing so one could draw the conclusion that he’ll defintely be involved in dealing with Valyrian steel. If he’s not it’s a wasted opportunity.

Naturally, all of this is dependent on a great deal many things and mostly are my own musings. I don’t like to live in a world where everyone dies in Game of Thrones and I tend to go back and forth on if Gendry would even want/accept becoming a Baratheon and taking his father’s seat in Storm’s End. I tend to lean more yes in recent months due to the show’s story. I mean, just look at how he was reintroduced in Season 7.

When we see Gendry again for the first time in Eastwatch he’s strongly associated with Robert Baratheon and House Baratheon. The audience is meant to be actively drawing Gendry’s association to the plot as Robert’s son.

Dead By Daylight Fan-made DLC: Royal Blood

Introducing: “The Usurper” A Fan Made Killer for DBD

Name: Lyra Tenebris

Age: 40

Difficulty: Hard

Ethnicity: Romanian

Realm: Romanesque Castle, Romania

Weapon: Bladed Scepter

Speed: 100%

Terror Radius: 32 meters

Lore: Lyra Tenebris was the true heir to the dukedom, or so she believed. Her mother worked as a maid for Duke Marius Romanesque. She wasn’t very good at her job and had a sense of entitlement which she passed on to her daughter. The Duke’s alleged Bastard. She was a social climber who had a pregnancy out of wedlock and decided to claim the duke as the father, hoping that he would leave his wife for her or at least become a mistress. She could remove the wife later. Sadly it was not to be and she was still stuck as a maid albeit on a very tight leash. When her daughter was born she decided that she would help her rise to power telling young Lyra that her father was the Duke and as such she was royalty and that they were in hiding as staff to protect them for those who would harm them. Lyra beloved every word her mother had said and tried to learn to become royalty. After all she was the only heir. Until IT came. Sophia Romanesque. The Duke’s other daughter and claimed rightful heir. Lyra was angry. She was older she should have been the heir. Nope. She was stuck as the brat’s maid. She asked her mother for an ideas and was advised to be their friend. That way she would learn all the things the child would be taught and look for ways to arrange accidents without suspicion.

So Lyra took the task to heart, learning all she could and trying to off her competition. She was unable to kill her but due to her diligence in watching the heiress she began to gain some popularity among the court. Seeing that she was getting supporters she began to spread that she was the duke’s bastard and should be the rightful heir. She also informed others not to tell the girl as she didn’t need the stress. For a time her plan worked. She spread doubt among the court and gathered some supporters as well as some money. It’s not a crime, it’s rightfully hers. However the duke still refused to acknowledge their relation. So she decided to gain her birth certificate to show him. They can’t deny it then. What she saw them she was shocked.

She wasn’t related to him at all. Her life was a lie. She couldn’t believe it. The documents had to be faked. She is the rightful heir and she will not be stopped. That’s when she found a mysterious card was addressed to her. It said she could be the ruler with their help she just had to meet them. She agreed and met with them. They said that they were a group that protects the royal family and because she was a “part” of the royal family they would give her the throne. They just needed a few concessions for their work. She agreed and together they started a coup, murdering everyone in the castle except there supporters and the princess who had managed to escape. No matter she will be taken care of soon enough. She has a kingdom to rule.

She was a Tyrant hated by the people but too feared to be taken out. She published books that showed her as a lovely Duchess and executed anyone who said anywise. The people lost their livelihoods to her tributes and spending. All hope was lost until the rebels appeared. Claiming to have the Rightful Princess Sophia inspired hope to fight against the Tyrant Tenebris. She would not have it. She sent out her agents to destroy the rebels and capture Sophia. The public would no longer defy here when their precious little princess is hung from the gallows. However it was not as easy as it should be. Captured rebels would die before giving up important information and the population was begin to revolt. She was the Duchess they should not be defying her. It’s all Sophia’s fault. If she would just come out of hiding and die like she was supposed to then this wouldn’t be happening. She just needed to find her. While she was fuming to herself in her castle a strange being appeared planting visions of hooks into her mind. Hooks she could hang Sophia from and any others who defied her. The strange being beckoned her forward with each step implanting more vision and power into Lyra who eagerly accepted. Long Live the Entity. Long Live Duchess Lyra Tenebris.

Lyra Tenebris is medium height with pale skin and a dancer’s build. She has dark green eyes and long black hair in an elegant low bun. She has dark red lipstick on and a light pink blush. She wears a red Tudor dress with mysterious dark splotches and black heals hidden under her dress. She wears a garish gold crown with an emerald necklace around her neck and carries a bloody bladed gold scepter in her hand.

The Usurper’s Power: Hired Help

You can’t do everything yourself.

Using the alternate action key will cause the Usurper to summon shadow beings to do her bidding. These shadow being each have their own terror radius and will search for survivors screaming when they find one to alert the killer. The effect last for 30 seconds with a 15 second cool down period.

Mori (Killer PoV) - (First person camera) You stand above the dying survivor, looking down on them as you hold your scepter like a croquet mallet and swiftly aim at their head. You laugh as they scream and continue until they become quiet. You turn the scepter so the blade is pointing down towards the survivor and slice their head of. You flick away the blood and spit on the corpse.

Mori (Survivor PoV) - (Worms Eye View) The Usurper will stand above the dying survivor, looking down of them as he hits their head with their scepter like a mallet. Their harrowing laugh mixing with your screams with each blow. When you go quiet the scepter’s blade comes down and you know no more.

Her personal perks, Tyrant, Revision and Hex: Tribute allow her to gain special bonuses to hunt down any who dares to threaten her reign.

Tyrant - You have to be strong and ruthless to destroy anyone who tries to oppose you. The usurper’s terror radius will increase by 10 meters and all nearby survivors actions will slow by 10%.

“My Word is law.”

Unique to The Usurper until Level 30, at which point its Teachable version can then be learned and taught to the other Killers

Revision- History is told by the Victors. When you use a melee attack on a survivor you inflict the oblivious status ailment on them.

“I am a noble, kind-hearted queen who prevented that little bitch from taking the throne and have driven this kingdom into prosperity. Now write that down and make sure everyone knows it by heart.”

Unique to The Usurper until Level 35, at which point its Teachable version can then be learned and taught to the other Killers

Hex: Tribute - Its only fair your subjects reward you for all you’ve done for them.

A Hex rooting its power in greed and forced devotion. Each time a totem is destroyed get a token. 2 Tokens: Increase speed by 10%. 3 Tokens: Cool Down is reduced by 5%. 4 Tokens: Survivors gain the Broken Ailment. 5 Tokens; Survivors gain the Deep Wounds ailment.

“If I want that you will give it to me; or else i’ll take it from your grave.”

Crown - The symbol of royalty. It looks great on you. Increase your speed by 5% for a short period (15 seconds).

“One day it will be yours”

Gold Coin - It’s not much but it’s yours. Slightly decrease the stun duration if a survivor escapes your power. (1 second)

Uncommon:

Fancy Gown- A beautiful gown befitting your status. Forget about its previous owner. Slightly decrease the skill check size of your power for survivors. (10%)

Calling Card- A card from a group that wants to help you. Your powers’ charge decreases by .25 seconds.

Rare:

Maid Uniform - Your mother used to wear this. Your power lasts longer. Any boosts you have are further increased by 5%.

“Mommy if i’m the daughter of the duke why are you a maid instead of a noble?.”

Jewelry Box- A small box filled jewels. It’s no less than what you deserve. Skills check speed is rescued for you by 15%. Skill check speed for survivors are increased by 25%.

Very Rare:

Propaganda Poster- A poster made by the rebels to inspire a revolt against you. Increases your terror radius by 7 meters.

Ultra Rare:

Birth Certificate - A birth certificate that disproves everything you believe to be true. You want to destroy it but can’t bring yourself to do so. Choose a random survior. That survivor becomes your obsession. Whenever your obsession performs an action their skill check speed is decreased by 5/10/15%. If they fail their action their speed is decreased by 15/20/25% for all repair, healing and sabotage actions.

“It holds the truth.”

Royal Portrait - A portrait you had commissioned once you took the throne. It’s a tradition of the Romanesque family. The memories of your journey fill you with tremendous potential. Your actions no longer involve skill checks and survivors automatically take 1 stage of damage when successfully grabbed.

“Hang it in the hall with the rest of my families.”

Introducing: Sophia Romanesque

Age: 25

Role: Rightful Heir

Ethnicity: Romanian

Difficulty: Intermediate

Sophia Romanesque never imagined her life would turn out like this. Hiding in the shadows of the kingdom she was supposed to rule, helping the resistance against her alleged half-sister and keeping out of sight in order to live to see another day. When she was young she wanted for nothing but always put others first like it had been ingrained in her since childhood. That’s probably why she kept around her former personal servant who constantly tried to kill her. She knew she shouldn’t but she was always told to help others even at her own expense so she was nice and kind to her. No longer. Her loyalty is to the rebellion and all those who would see the usurper overthrown, and today should be the day. She wandered around the empty corridors she had used to traverse, headed toward the throne room and where her target lied but the corridors seemed to twist and turn with every step she took, but she would not let this deter her. Too many people counted on her killing the usurper for her to give up due to some vertigo and flashing lights. She kept traveling even as the corridors seemed to end and trees began to emerge. She saw a campfire in the distance and kept going. Maybe whoever is there can help her.

Sophia’s perks, Keep to the Shadows, Nobility, and For My people help her escape the wrath of the false ruler.

Keep to the Shadows - You’ll always be safe in the shadows. When crouching the killer’s aura reading abilities towards you are disrupted. If you stop crouching the perk ends.

“The shadows will protect me.”

Unique to Sophia Romanesque until Level 30, at which point its Teachable version can then be learned and taught to the other Survivors

Nobility - Nobility is not just a title. When you assist another survivor their aura becomes hidden for 4/5/6 seconds.

“A noble must always act noble, remember that Sophia.”

Unique to Sophia Romanesque until Level 35, at which point its Teachable version can then be learned and taught to the other Survivors

For My People - If it means they’ll live i don’t care if I don’t. If you are near a survivor and struck by the killer you become the killers obsession. Once the killer’s obsession your speed and healing is increased by 10%.

“My People need me and I shall not fail them.”

Unique to Sophia Romanesque until Level 40, at which point its Teachable version can then be learned and taught to the other Survivors

Sophia Romanesque is tall and fragile with pale skin. She has dark hazel eyes and choppy short brown hair. She wears skin-tight black tights, worn brown boots and a loose midnight blue blouse. She wears a dark grey scarf around her neck.

We have a new citizen in Mount Phoenix:

Cho Luizinho, who is known by no other name; a 21 year old son of Eros. He is currently a street acrobat and juggler.

FC NAME/GROUP: Cho Seungyoun (Luizy) / Uniq CHARACTER NAME: Cho Luizinho AGE/DATE OF BIRTH: August 5, 1996 PLACE OF BIRTH: Gyeonggi-do, South Korea OCCUPATION: Homeless Street Acrobat & Juggler HEIGHT: 182cm WEIGHT: 65kg DEFINING FEATURES: As a teen, Luizinho cut off his own wings in a panicked fit of rage against his mother’s imprisonment and abuse of him. The skin has since healed over the stump of amputated limbs but it is a riot of pale pink scar tissue that he doesn’t let others see. When he had wings they white with mottled gold flecks.

PERSONALITY: Luizinho is a strange combination of naivete, youthful punkish rebellion, goofball and deadpan snarkism that only being a DIY survior really affords one. Sion often uses humor and sarcasm to hide the holes in his practical knowledge. Holes that include all things academic thanks to him never having attended a proper school, learned to read or count past 100. He’s an odd hodge-podge of “figuring-it-out-as-I-do-it” that borders on cynicism but never really crosses the border to achieve full on pessimism. It is his insecurities about expressing or trusting genuine love or affection, that makes him lash out and yes hide within himself too.

HISTORY: He could not remember a time when he wasn’t locked in the closet at night.

Momma said it was because she loved him best so she had to keep him all to herself–but he knew it was just because Momma didn’t want him to see what the “uncles” with the grabbing big hands, and pinching fingers did at night. Supposedly these men would make Momma’s dream to be a star come true one day. A dream she told him all the time, his father stole from her. One day, Momma promised she would have it all back. Only that never happened.

There was just the closet.

There was also the sounds of Momma crying, a sound that scared him so bad that all he could do was watch the red light strip from beneath the closet door as he seeped warm embarrassing stinking wetness around himself. Momma only cried then. Only then and there was nothing he could do there locked away in the dark. He never slept on those nights, not at all, but simply watched for the hazy red line be slayed by welcoming daylight, so much like blood being washed away by water.

He learned to hate the closet then.

He hated it even more after the wings show up. All things after the wings became a nightmare land where nothing was quite real. The wings made him two things: 1) a freak. 2) unfit for regular society. The wings made even his mother look at him with a strange light in her eyes. One that clawed at his heart and froze it over as surely as any ice might. The wings made them move to the island. Momma said it was all his fault too they had to leave, him and his “monster of a father” who had ruined her. She told him he and his “angel” wings owed her a great debt. Momma changed.

The closet didn’t change though.

It was an ugly tiny island. With an even tinier ugly circus. Momma said it was one of Korea’s last true delights, but that was an even bigger lie. Everything that Momma said after the wings came was a lie. The wings robbed him of Mommas hugs, her smiles, and even her saying “she loved him best” anymore. From then on it was only performing in the ragged circus on the island. His performing for the stage and her performance everywhere else to pay back “the father’s” debt.

And at night there still was just he and the closet.

The first time mother hit him he was six. The wings were heavy. All it took was one wing tangling turning into a forbidden missed round-off into back handspring that wasn’t and he quickly learned how to perform even with the most violent of batterings. After that first time, the easier it seemed to make Momma’s hands ball into fists, or twist her pretty lips into sneers. She was careful though. Nothing to stop the show. So it was always collarbones and ribs that would heal clean, burns between little childish fingers and welts on the soles of feet that no one would see. Well sometimes they did… but only in the closet.

He was twelve before he questioned what was beyond the circus, or even the island itself. People came and never stayed for long. Where did they go? The idea that there was more, different out THERE stung him more than all of Momma’s smacks, belts and extension cords combined. He begged her to tell him year after year about beyond the tent.

The closet was still there when his pleas fell on a deaf ear.

At fifteen, he finally used the closet just for himself, with blade and blood he cut his way to freedom. Mother could keep the closet–after all it had always been hers anyway.

Mount Phoenix was merely where he found himself when once he had run himself out. He honestly doesn’t care who made his mother into what she became, nor does he want any other “parent”. No one needs parents. Parents are full lies. He simply wants to be left alone to live out what remains of his days in unhindered peace.

STRENGTHS:

Luizinho is very flexible and surprisingly strong. He has been a circus acrobatic performer most of his young life, he can run, jump, move, flip and contort his body in ways most regular people cannot.

He has a “gift” with chocolate. Despite not being able to read or write he figured out how to make various chocolates himself with simple kitchen and household supplies. It’s a hard tiring hobby that he finds very theraputic. He usually gives his chocolate “kisses” to people who tip him on the street (at this stage he is unaware his candies are a rather potent aphrodisiac).

Kindness. Luizinho has a really innocent place in his heart for others that he tries really hard not to show, but he will literally give someone else the shirt of his back if he sees they need it more than he.

WEAKNESSES:

Luizinho is fully illiterate. He has only learned to know his own name when he sees it and to write it in very large childish calligraphy in order to sign things.

Worldly inexperience. Luizinho doesn’t really know a lot about life or being around people who aren’t circus folk or street people. He tries not to let others take advantage of him but most times it happens anyway cause he simply doesn’t know any better.

Quite willfully self-distructive. Something even he has not really come to terms with fully. Each day, he just climbs into danger cause it’s there and looks different than the danger from the day before.

Has severe Nyctophobia, that usually culminates into full on anxiety induced fainting. He is also prone to freaking out in small enclosed darken spaces.
