I've seen one (1) Shenpai video of her playing Baldur's Gate 3, alongside creating a character with @notanegrill for his second play (first play didn't work out so well) and I am already in love with Astarion.

I'm an Astarion enjoyer and damn it not again with the white hair and pointy eared guys who can charm my shoes off in ten or less words. He sees us as food that should not be as attractive but he is a little babo shnookums and he is such a pathetic little thing that I can't help it. He can't say 'CAN I HAVE JUST A LITTLE TASTE' with those tired watery eyes and not expect me to cave in like a caprisun you sucked the air from.

All to the reluctant acceptance of some.

And the support of others.

Can't wait to dream about him.

Speaking of dreams we got a real handsome boy this time around and they're so adorable!! I think we named him Asher and he's a Bard, which V didn't expect would matter too much until he realized that being a Wizard was easier to study that alien technology/language while trying to save that other woman. Wow names will be so hard starting from now.

I didn't save any screenshots of his final looks but maybe V will be able to provide eventually. Until then, have some of our conversations during the 2 hour long character creation.

Me: "Generally yeah, I think?" *Surprised I see the 'general' skin shades are also going into normal human skintones*

V: "What if I- OH! NO!"

Me: *Guffawing at snow white princess drow*

V: *Clicking through every imaginable hairstyle top to bottom* "This is the first game where changing the hairstyle actually makes the character look different."

Me: *Watching Asher go from pig tails to balding head* "Yeah, yeah, it's like it's a different person every time you click on one."

Both of us: *Silently admiring two hair styles, one of which is very ME and the other being very HIS type*

I don't know if she's meant to have a name but she is so pretty, I think we ended up making her a Wood Elf so we played along with the forest aesthetic.

I love her.

Also this is the Shenpai video. I forgot Im a fan of her content because it's so fun to watch and the reactions are 1 to 1 with what I would have done. Love the content, the creator, actually the bestest experience of actual gameplay.

Searched up Blue Chair because I wanted to recommend it to a friend (my reading list has… way too many WEBTOONS)

Anyways, I found this! BlueChair Fan Club by… yeah I can’t figure out how to type that. But it’s very neat! I honestly can’t figure out how I haven’t discovered this one before.

So… personally, I find it absolutely amazing that SHEN HIMSELF has read at least one of the episodes. Absolutely amazing. We truely need more Shens in the world ❤️❤️❤️

Thought I'd post my Lies of P OC, though I still have her bio in the works and will update her image later once I add the finishing touches! I also can't stress enough on how I had to look at the fashion of the era the game's based on, and I'm not that good with detailed clothing and such, but I'll keep trying XD

Even though I don't have the game yet, I've been watching streamers play the game (mainly Shenpai's streams), read as many PxOc/Reader fics as I can find, and various vids of the game (cause idc that I spoiled myself cause that's how it is with me with souls-like games), I got myself invested in the game!

Bio

Born in a loving family, Lillian had a happy childhood. She loved her older sister, Leia, and would do all kinds of things together with her like play the piano, sing, read, and play together. When Leia came of age, she was to be married to a man named Adam, which both families arranged.

However, on the night before the wedding, three masked thugs broke into the Porter estate and began to attack the family! Lillian and Leia fled to a secret room they call their "hideaway" , which they discovered in their room during their childhood, while their father fought against their attackers. To their horror, they heard gunfire along with the horrified screams of their mother, before her screams were silenced. After what felt like a half hour of silence, Leia told Lillian to stay hidden as she would go check to see what has happened, much to her younger sister's protests. She left the hidden room and was about to leave their bedroom when the thugs walked in, parts of their clothes covered in blood, along with their weapons. Lillian peeked through the crack of the door and silently watched in horror as one of the men took off his mask, revealing to be none other than Adam himself!

"…Why did you do this…?" Leia asked with a shaky breath.

Adam sneered as he told her that he only agreed to the marriage so he could get the deeds to the estate so his family can sell it and get the money from the sale. He never loved her and then shot her with his shotgun. Then he and his goons try to find Lillian, but they never found her and as dawn was about to rise, they left. After a good while, Lillian came out and went to her dead sister's body, wishing that this was all a nightmare. She then went downstairs to find her mother and father's dead corpses in her father's den. The vault that had the estate's deeds inside were now empty, along with the stuff that was stored in there. She wept and asked herself why this had to happen! Why did such a horrible fate befall on her beloved family? She asked herself that and many other questions before her uncle and the police came that morning, thanks to a passerby who heard the noise from last night. She explained what happened and when the police stormed into Adam's house, he and his family were nowhere to be found…

After the funeral of her parents and sister, Lillian stayed with her uncle and learned how to defend herself as her uncle learned how to fight from his travels overseas. She swore to herself to find Adam and avenge her family! The clues she followed of their whereabouts eventually led her to Krat 3 years later, not knowing about the disaster that had befallen upon the city… ------- Disclaimer: Lies of P belongs to  Neowiz Games and Round 8 Studio!

Hi, I really want to get more into OMORI but I can't play the game. Any recommendations of gameplay or such ? (I already know the game's plot and some things that happen, just enough to understand some memes)

HELLO!!!! i've watched a few omori gameplays, the only one i watched before actually playing and getting into the game was tuonto's. i remember watching it like a while ago and only remembering the faraway town bits,,, i didn't remember anything else and didn't rlly care about it until like a year later i bought it and now it is my life

ANYWAYS so here are a few omori gameplays i recommend watching

tuonto, neimann, manlybadasshero, dish (i actually haven't watched hers but i like her and i like omori so)

theres one more that i watched and liked but i forgot their name they had like a lil omori drawing thay lowkey looked like link as the cover lmk if someone finds them😣

anyways once you do actually get the chance to play omori DO IT!! imo it's so much better when you're playing it but tbh its so good that it'd amazing either way

Exactly one year ago, I watched Shenpai's Omori streams over the course of a weekend where I was feeling like crap, both physically, and although I did not know it at the time, mentally. Somehow, I was able to claw my way out of a years-long depressive state that I was in soon after that, and I legitimately believe Omori was a big part of what got that ball rolling. It got me to reflect on where I was, and got me to reach out to a support network I didn't really know I had. It introduced me to fanfiction and fandom. It legitimately improved my quality of life, and came at the exact right moment in my life to have maximum impact. So thank you @pikaiscool for your streams and edited video, without which I almost certainly wouldn't have found Omori. And thank you @omocat for creating such a wonderful story about love, loss, guilt, and forgiveness.

Chronic Pain Stuff

A surprising thing that I do, at least to people who don't have to deal with chronic illness and chronic pain, as a chronically ill person without the ability to afford meaningful medical care or medication is survive by just sort of... brute forcing stuff. When I'm in real pain, such that I HAVE to sit down and try to recover, I take long showers/baths in hot water. During that time to help retain my sanity I use YouTube and listen to videos.

I am particularly fond of let's plays and commentary, and because of this I have memorized long portions of videos that either approach or exceed an hour, sometimes even two hours in length. This practice has made quite thankful to a number of youtubers, particularly people who create long-form videos, such as Jarvis Johnson & Nick DiRamio, or Shenpai & AntDude. I'm... honestly extremely grateful to them, and I have memorized plenty of portions of their videos because I've listened to them over and over. There's something comforting about being able to listen to their work and not have to be surprised while I try to force myself to feel better.

I think you'd like Ultrakill. It's a high intensity FPS where you play as a robot going through hell and fighting demons and angels. Plus Gabriel has beef with you. And there's official body pillows of Gabriel.
