A few lil ref sheets I did for myself for the Sasha/Goldenflower kits and the Goldenflower/Tigerclaw kits ^^

In this AU I switched the dynamic in TNP a little, while Bramble ended up going to shadowclan in TPB, Tawnyflower brings Squirrelpaw along the journey begrudgingly, and falls in love with Feathertail, and holding the “leader” position of the chosen cats.

Crowfeather still takes on her suffix, as they had more of a friendship than romance, as Feathertail kinda coaxes him out of his shell to get along with everyone and especially Squirrelpaw.

Meanwhile, Mothstrike and Leafpool have a sort of enemies to lovers vibe, as Leafpool is helping out Hawkfeather, she’s initially very intimidated by his sister. Leafpool def catches feelings first, and Mothstrikes pretty aware of that, and enjoys kind of egging her on, shifting the “fire and tiger” omen (now renamed the “fire and gold” omen) onto Mothpool, instead of Bramble and Squilf.

After Mothstrike dies trying to kill firestar, leafpool waits in her dreams every night, and every half moon hoping she’ll walk in her dreams (which, sadly she doesn’t)

Oh boy, another AU I've made

Here are the basic points:

Moth/Tadpole/Hawk are born much earlier, a few days before Goldenflower has her kits

Tigerclaw finds out and wants them, he figures the more kits he has the better

He and Sasha fight, and it ends with him drowning her

He takes a very pregnant Goldenflower out of camp and to three kits. He admits they are his, and asks they are raised alongside their half siblings, since their mother died

Goldenflower is extremely angry, kitty divorces Tigerclaw, but takes the kits in, since they are innocent.

This is a little random but Tigerclaw changes Tadpole's name to Pantherkit. I found Tadpolekit hard to work, seen someone on a wc forum suggest it since it fits with leopard/tiger, and his uncle is lion sooo

Goldenflower and Mothkit grow very close!

Things happen like in canon, blah blah blah, Tigerclaw gets banished, but before he leaves, he turns to Goldenflower and whispers in her ear, "I drowned Sasha," and that breaks her a little bit

Now, Tigerclan forms and things are getting uncomfortable for Hawk and Bramble, so, as the ones looking like Tiger, they leave

Blah blah blah, once Tigerclan is disbanded, Hawk stays in River, and Bramble goes to Shadow

Hawk's plans go a little differently than in canon, he still fakes Moth's sign, but also fakes one for Bramble.

The plan is for him to lead Riverclan, Bramble to lead Shadowclan, Tawny or Panther to lead Thunderclan, and Moth to be the medicine cat to tie it all together. Sure, he didn't have a sibling to lead Windclan, but 3/4 of the clans run by your siblings is pretty good.

Not completely sure how everything pans out from there, but we'll get there!

Some other, random notes:

Goldenflower lives longer bc she is important

The new names are: Bramblepelt, Tawnytooth, Mothflower, and Pantherclaw

Tawny, Moth, Panther are besties with Leaf and Squirrel. Sorry not sorry.

The whole group knew about the three, and since Panther and Squirrel were so close, Panther pretended to be their father/her mate

Leaf and Moth became an awesome med cat duo, and Leaf was sort of trained by Moth too.

Willowshine is still Riverclan's Medcat, trained by Moth very quickly with some timeline adjustments

Panther and Squirrel do become actual mates, and have another litter after Alder/Spark

Bramble and Rowan are mates, with Rowan being trans and having Tiger/Dawn/Flame

I am leaning towards Pantherstar, but I could make Squirrelstar or Tawnystar work

Oh yeah and Bramble admits the sign was faked after Hawk's death and is shunned for a long time

I do, so many! Let's see how many I can list! As we all know, gender and sexuality is a spectrum, and there's no one way to classify just everyone into little bubbles. That's what makes us as humans so amazing. I made "groups" below for those interested in certain "categories", but if anyone has particular asks, I can try and assist.

I mostly stuck to notable cats people would recognize rather than getting a bit more obscure, so do ask if you want specifics. If I have mistakenly used wrong pronouns in the past for certain characters, I apologize as it may either be old, or I sometimes slip because no nonbinary cats are really in the books using said pronouns, but I get used to them nonetheless.

when i first started liking them: uhhh not sure. think it was a click in watching fandom content at some point rather than a specific moment in the books. i was pretty neutral on her when i first stopped reading around early tnp but actively liked her when i picked the books back up a bit later.

do i relate to/project onto them? not really i don't think.

fav ship: tough.... i don't think i've ever actually gotten super into a squirrelflight ship actually. squirrelflight x happiness, i guess. moonlight, tawnypelt or sol if you are forcing me to pick one but im not jumping up and down for any of those theyre all like ok at best lol.

fav platonic ship: leafpool, if that counts? have a bit of a soft spot for funny tnp roadtrip gang shenanigans as well but i can't point to any one of those guys specifically, they work best as a group.

ship i hate: feel like my least fav is ashsquirrel by default. especially considering the bizarre idea that used to be widespread that it would be 100% fine and healthy had squirrelflight never rejected him.

do i prefer canon or fanon?: uhhhh. i guess canon-adjacent fanon from people who actually like squirrelflight?

what colour do i picture them as: pretty dark red! white paw is important, and i usually give her some white markings on her chest, face, and tail as well.

unpopular opinion: crowsquirrel has like. negative levels of chemistry and i genuinely don't understand why everyone on twitter got so into shipping them last year. hard for me to be invested in shrewsquirrel either when shrewpaw is barely a character. a lot of endeavours to find squirrelflight a better partner are appreciated but in vain sorry. also i don't actually mind the "squilf" nickname (which came from a bizarre kate cary tweet and NOT people calling her squirrel milf, to clarify) i think it's silly

Fiddling around with the idea of a Richard III!wc au, with the Tigerkin as the Lancaster and the Firekin as the York (or maybe the contrary?)

A few things would change obviously like the dynasty side of Thunderclan and/or Shadowclan would be stronger and the characters themselves changing a bit.

This far my notes are:

Lionblaze as Edward of York, Hollyleaf as George of Clarence and Jayfeather as Richard of Gloucester, OR Dawnpelt as Edward, Flametail as George and Tigerheart as Richard. Possible other three-siblings litters accepted.

Doing it with DawnFlameTiger is even more interesting given that George dies drowned, like Dawn and Flame both.

But then we need "Edward" to have kids, so maybe Tigerheart as Edward, Dawnpelt as George and Flametail as Richard?

Let's say it's TigerDawnFlame we chose, Tawnypelt makes a great Lady Cecily, cursing the child who brought doom on her own linage.

Then who is Anne Neville though? she needs to be the widow of a Lancaster prince and daughter in law of a lancaster king. I'd go with Brightheart, and make Cloudtail Firestar's adopted son instead of nephew, and possibly deputy. But then Flametail x Brightheart?? It's best if "Richard" and "Anne" are around the same age.

If we don't go with Tigerkin in Shadowclan we can go with Fire and Tiger in Thunderclan.

What about Cinderheart as lady Cecily, and three of her kits as Edward, George and Richard? Fernsong, Hollytuft and Sorrelstripe? Given the cultural differences between medieval england and current warrior cats, we can have a gender swap for some characters.

Or or or... LionHollyJay as EdwardGeorgeRichard, and then Cinderheart becomes Edward's widow. That being said, it feels slighty out of character for Jayfeather to kill his whole family in order to become leader (yeah yeah it feels ooc for all the other cats i listed i know).

Going back to Shadowclan...

What about a Wish and Hope survived AU? Brokentail becomes Richard and when Raggedstar dies, leaving the "throne" to Wishflight, Brokentail starts pitting her against Hopesong... but it would requite too many OCs.

or...

well actually "or" i just don't keep the family links exactly the same. Avoids the borderline incest (Richard trying to marry his own niece to secure his claim to the throne, for example, only "borderline" incest because it doesn't happen)

What about Ferncloud's line are the Lancaster? Whitewing becomes Lady Anne Neville, whose husband (Birchfall) and father in law (Dustpelt) were killed by Richard during the war. But if Whitewing is Anne Neville, I can't use the Firekin as the York because she's part of it.

So Tigerkin go.

Bramblestar as Richard III? Tawnypelt as George of Clarence and Hawkfrost as Edward? Except it would be weird to have Bramblestar be the impostor and Hawkfrost the rightful king.

Then why not Hawkfrost, the runt of the siblings (because he's not from the OG tiger line?) as Richard and Bramblestar as Edward.

YES!! It makes sense because then Edward's Widow is Squirrelflight and SHE HAS TWO SONS AND A DAUGHTER LIKE IN RICHARD III (counting the 3 as her kids even if they're not because it's already complicated enough) (although Richard did get rid of his nephews by pretending they were bastards, which here would be kinda true...)

But then the ships it gives us...

Hawkfrost x Whitewing. Attempted but foiled Hawkfrost x Hollyleaf. And then Hollyleaf marries Henry Tudor, who would then be... Foxleap? gotta check the family tree real quick.

I kinda have just one of those batshit insane warrior cat aus where I swapped tigerclaw and goldenflowers roles, along with tigerclaws kids. So like Tawnypelt and brambleclaw are swapped and renamed Tawnyfower and Bramblepelt, and then Mothwing and Hawkfrost for Mothstalk (I don’t rlly have a set name for her yet 💀) and Hawkfeather.

It’s basically spiraled out of control where I combined like ALL of my side line aus into that one so mothpool is canon but in an enemies to lovers way, Squirrelcrow are the threes bio parents and tawnyflower is covering for squirrelflight as the biological other parent
