it's . . . pretty hard to scare axel. as a child he went through so much and has internalized so many things that he just doesn't get scared often. his self preservation is practically non existent. even when he does interact with dangerous people or beings he just . . . vibes honestly. the only time axel does feel fear is when he gets into a bad headspace and worries he is becoming like his father. axel has done so much hard work to make sure he is nothing like his dad that sometimes when he gets angry or upset axel thinks he might lose it and just do something awful like his father did. and it's the last thing he wants.

as a child axel's anger controlled him but after years of work and therapy he's learned to control that anger to a degree, not letting it explode like when he was young. but he is human at the end of the day and his anger causes him a lot of fear and stress. there is still work that needs done when it comes to his rage and controlling it but axel has already come such a long way and should be proud of himself. but on the off chance axel does get angry and explode, he is a mess after the fact. very apologetic and probably fighting off a panic attack. needless to say he is scared of himself more than anything.

It depends on the time and information available to make that decision. Avita's primary drive is logic but she's hardly a slave to it. For example, you won't find her fearing the unknown or freezing in front of the sudden and unexpected. Whatever little of her human instincts are left aren't wasted on survival mechanisms she finds futile. Nor on taking her sweet time to overthink a decision she could've intuited already.

She's rather firmly rationally-minded. If she's decided on a course of action, she can even act in direct opposition to her feelings if necessary, especially when it comes to morality. In both altruistic and cruel ways. However, heart, when it does decide over mind, decides immovably. Her modus operandi is balance and reason.

But then reason as a whole can be terribly overkill when your very existence itself is illogical and you also deal with impossibilities in your line of interest. Avita, an irregularity in her own right, has gone on to be additionally responsible for propagating more irregularities. Risk is the bedrock of creation, progress and evolution - where she already has skin in the game and certain goals set. Suddenly everything looks like an opportunity, which, while she won't go into blindly, she would never cross off as an option until she's made considerable effort towards it and found herself at a loss. With enough drive and effort, and study of logistics, she rarely does.

In the same vein, she's notably good at circumventing the path well-trodden - either through inability/disability, superior practicality or curiosity. Why? Why not. If she operated based on the number of possibilities already proven (or proven to be easier), she'd have achieved very little by comparison. She's a mix between ambitious willfullness, rationale and white-knuckle hard work.

Ging/Belldandy - ok but if it wasnt the pregnancy stone, then gon's real mom is an actual goddess. @sorrowmarked and i have connected all the dots. but also, this ship offers so much nuance to ging's character. there is soo much about ging's character that is overlooked, and writing this au backstory gave me the room to really expand on those aspects of ging gahh! <3

Ging/Pakunoda – this crackship @rottingkiss & i came up with. attacking and kidnapping his son isn't a dealbreaker, obviously. LOL.

Ging/Pariston – intense mind games LOL, they think about each other too much. the manga especially 👀👀

Korra/Asami – is this even a bias?? They both make each other feel SEEN and HEARD <3 emotional connection >>> Korra/Mako – Just gonna share my two cents bc this is an unusual one.. LMFAO. I weirdly enjoy Korra's dynamics with people who kinda challenge her/call her out?? lolol. They were a hot mess but their dynamic always stood out to me. I saw a similar dynamic between Korra and Toph. I definitely can be the first to say that balancing those type of dynamics out with personalities like Asami and Tenzin (who are mostly firm, but gentle) are very much needed, but, man, there's just something about mutually seeing one another at their good, bad and ugly, and still being able to love and accept each other in spite of that. as well as GROWING throughout experiences together. At this point in canon, I do like them better as very close friends though.

A situation not entirely foreign to him. But a situation demanding caution and restrain in his moves and judgement.

And the last thing he needed was to be found with a stranger woman, half hollow and assassin for a living, who also happened to be acquainted with Urahara Kisuke… A dangerous man whose death in war Jugram and his Sternritter had assured every living and breathing Quincy of.

One of the few accomplishments they could claim from war and use to justify the existence and necessity of a military to the skeptical, ignorant and deluded minds, in the on-going debates about dissolving the organisation, and per se, stripping every soldier out of their job, benefits and pension.

He’d lie to say he hadn’t entertained the thought of hiring her services or contacts’ to rid Quincy’s society of these political traitors and detractors who constituted, by their nature, an inherent threat to the future, well-being and survival of their own people. But he strangely retained enough self-awareness to recognise that he wasn’t immune to the tendency of war and loss to bring the worst out of some people. Nothing good would ever come out of the idea of hiring her as assassin.

‘I know you’re eager for answers, but sorting out relevant information from our archives is going to take time.’ Actually, more than he anticipated. Unfortunately so. ‘I’ll ask for your patience and that you trust me on this.' His gaze locked on hers, hoping she'd acquiesce, even if begrudgingly so. 'I work well and best on my own.’

okay so. overall!! and i’d love to know your thoughts on this logan….. i firmly believe that satoru is the type to love one single person for the rest of his life. he never moves on from them. once someone has earned his love and nestled their way into his heart they’re there to stay. (and i’d argue that it’s kinda supported by canon yk… satoru hanging on to his memories of youth/suguru no matter how much time passes :’3)… so!! yeah!!! i definitely think he’d stay in love with his bestie forever, even if he knew fully well his feelings wouldn’t be returned. that’s just my take though!!!

i thinkkkk the tricky part is just. how satoru feels about it. a part of me wants to say that he handles it decently, that he’s happy just to be around you… but i think it’s also natural for him to feel a little empty about it all. bc he truly is!! a loverboy!!! deep down he yearns so badly for intimacy :(((( satoru is just such a pro at isolating himself and i think it gets worse in this kind of scenario. he loves you but does keep a certain distance i think…. to make it easier for himself and also so he doesn’t mess anything up for you. but he can never keep himself away for too long……

ok so we’re circling back to sugu now. i think satoru would handle the situation a lot better if suguru and you were together. my stsg-infested brain just can’t imagine an au where he isn’t at least a little bit in love with suguru…. and i think seeing two people he loves and trusts with all his heart be together doesn’t bother him nearly as much as it would have if you were with a random third party. there’s this One quote i like from . um….. a voice actor. of a character. in… ohshc 👉👈 AND I JUST THINK IT FITS IN THIS SCENARIO OK…….. :’3

I think Kyoya is very much in love with Tamaki and with Haruhi. He’s very much in love with the both of them. And I think it matures to a point where he would much prefer to see the both of them together than him with either one. Because they make more sense together than he makes with anybody else.

i think that’s sort of how he’d feel!!! there’s a kind of maturity there that satoru has imo. and since he’s so close to both of you, he doesn’t have to worry about being pushed out of your life (which might be his biggest worry in a scenario where you’re together with a random third party)…… so. yeah!!! would it be angsty? yes ofc. but i rlly do see satoru as a mature character, and also often selfless!!! he just respects you and your choices so much :(((
