Straight up had a dream last night that DC revealed that Bart and Kon were dating and it was in the WILDEST FUCKING WAY.

K, so picture this: Clark needs someone to fly around disguised as him for a plan. So Clark goes through the options in his head: Bruce can't fly, MM is off world, Jon is too much of a twink to be believable, Kara is blonde, Kon is.... Perfect! With a person in mind who would be perfect for his plan, Clark flies off to find Kon.

Cut to Judy Garrick zipping around the Garrick's house. Joan is quietly scrapbooking at the kitchen table and Judy is bored out of her mind. Judy asks Joan if there is anything she can do because she is so unbelievably bored.

Joan responds, very calmly, that she can hear "your brother's boyfriend touching down in the backyard, so why don't you go ask him?"

Judy's face jumps from emotion to emotion as three things are revealed at once. 1) Joan considers Bart to be a son and thus, Judy's brother, 2) Judy's new brother is not straight and 3) Bart has a boyfriend who is in the backyard.

So Judy immediately runs to the backyard and is stunned to bump into Clark (who was there looking for Kon) and then the dream continued on with the two of them hunting down Bart&Kon (who were just at school being normal goddammit!!!) but the entire time Judy is secretly out for blood because she thinks that Joan was referring to Clark and that this adult man is trying to date her new little brother and Judy keeps trying to kill him but it doesn't work because Clark is Kryptonian (and oblivious to the attempted homicides).

Anyway, wild dream all around.

#bruh i cannot control what my brain does in its spare time. i am merely a passenger staring out the window in awe #as the driver does crazy mind-blowing stunts #tho tbf i can lucid dream so occasionally i do fight the driver for the wheel and win #im not even fucking joking tho this was my dream #bart was FUCKING PISSED when they found him because HE HAS A SECRET IDENTITY GODDAMMIT #they can't just fly up to him in school!!!#Judy's shock was also my shock. i literally remember thinking 'dc let them date?!? when the fuck did that happen???'#'and in a SUPERMAN COMIC OF ALL PLACES?!?'#also i don't even think bart lived with joan anymore?? she was just like 'yes this is my son now. max and i share custody'#and you know what? bart can have five+ parents. thats allowed. good for him

SAGAU Childe/Foul legacy finding out that his s/o(us) were a street racing back in our world!! And a great one at that yall!!

oh my goodness wait wait WAIT first you have to introduce him to vehicles in general!!!

listen, Childe does NOT know what a car is and neither does Foul Legacy. the only thing that comes close is the aquabus in Fontaine, and that's exclusively restricted to water travel (if you ask Childe, he thinks it's just a glorified high-tech boat) so to see a machine that easily take you where you need to go with just metal and a bit of gas, even more so one that's considered COMMON has your two boys completely in awe. unfortunately, Foul Legacy's too tall to fit inside, but Childe's more than willing to sit in the passenger's seat as you drive- it's absolutely exhilarating for him, especially when you go on the highway, and after you arrive at wherever you're driving to you have to sit for a few minutes because Childe's giddy and rapidly tapping his feet with a huge, wonderful grin

as for street racing, my goodness they both think you're so cool. genuinely, they think you're amazing because as much as they love the concept of cars, it also scares them a little because of how easily one wrong move can kill someone when driving, and the fact that you're handling your vehicle so easily is incredible. Childe REALLY wants to come along, but you refuse to let him put himself into danger even more, so he'll watch from the sidelines instead. Foul Legacy, on the other hand, is more concerned with making sure that you're safe. he'll mentally pull Childe away from the crowd and take control of their shared body, watching the cars from a distance until he can see yours, specifically keeping his eye trained on it for the entire race. he lets out a soft purr when it's done, shifting back into Childe to see you with other people. but don't worry, the moment you're home you'll feel claws wrap around your waist as you're scooped into Legacy's arms, rumbling and snuggling you as congratulations on a job well done

Hey y'all, weird question time! Asthma related this time: Can the smell of mildew/damp/whatever that is be an asthma trigger? A pipe broke in my house earlier this week, and it is fixed but now anytime I go near the room it was in it's triggering an asthma attack, and the door to that room is like right next to the kitchen so that's a fairly large problem. We set up an air purifier and a dehumidifier in the room, but is there anything else we should be doing? how do you get rid of mildew?

#the person behind the yarn #I come from SoCal: land of less than 10 percent humidity #things just dry themselves out there #you don't have to like...deliberately try to dry things?#if you want to dry things out faster you can just open the windows #I mean why would you open the windows when it's like 110s #but the point is: you can! here in the land of humidity that does not dry things out at all #the pipe was in the wall shared between my dad's room and his bathroom #and they cut a hole in the wall to fix it and then screwed the rectangle of drywall back in place #should we like...unscrew that?#does it need to be cleaned?#I'm really hoping I am one of today's lucky 10000 and that this is a simple fix that I just didn't know about

The problem about Mav having been a take everywhere kind of dog is that I can deeply feel his absence no matter what I'm doing or where I am.

#this isnt meant to be a devastating post #but the fact of the matter is that im seeing mav everywhere #he got so many good adventures in his short life #but it means that most places i visit i have previously visited with him #i went on this gorgeous camping trip this weekend #and all i could think about was how mav was with me (and loved it) the last time i was there #there wasnt really any aspect of my life that wasnt deeply entwined with my dog #every hike i did was planned for dog enrichment #every trip i took was paced so he could get out and stretch his leggies and sniff the wind #i just drove four straight hours because there was no need to stop and it felt??? bad???#every time i roll down the window to look at a bird i listen for his comically loud sniff from his crate #(luckily pike does fill that niche when shes in my car - she loudly sniffs everytime we roll windows down and it brings me joy)#im doing reasonably okay all things considered #(i mean within expectations - im still crying about losing mav most days)#but his absence is palpable no matter what im doing #and that sucks so much

While Khare wasn't exactly considered a 'success' by PROMETHEUS, there are times where her body does function according to plan. One of these are enhanced capabilities, particularly in regards to improved jumping thanks to the frog DNA inserted into her genetic sequence. One time when walking to Pauli's, Khare was startled by a group of young thugs calling out and running after her. When met by a dead-end, she jumped straight up and on top of the building, losing the group but ended up arriving late to work as she struggled to find a way down after getting on top of a (very) high roof.

#🌈 || musings #🌈 || headcanons #Sometimes a girl just has to jump 30 feet straight up into the air #The funny thing is that Khare cannot control this at ALL #Hence being more of a failure than a success #The times where her body does cooperate is far and few in-between but sometimes it do work #Khare managed to escape from the facility due to the ability of being able to jump high #Not quite high enough to clear the barbed wire fences surrounding the place but enough to juuust get over it #Can't control the electrical outflow #Can't breathe underwater indefinitely #But it's worked somewhat during desperate times #Just never when she wants it #Imagine trying to jump high enough to try and get over a fence but suddenly you're on the roof :(#And you're shit at climbing so you have to knock on the inhabitant's window and ask to be let down #Had to spin a wild story to get out of that one #Happy Easter to everyone (who celebrates) btw!#I hope you're all having a lovely day regardless!#I am OFF Easter overtime so can hopefully finish off some of those older memes waiting to be done #Sorry about the wait it's been a hard grind this week and especially weekend oof

It's so wild and refreshing to me to want to be HERE. In my country. In my general area. Where I am

#for years I've yearned for people from the screens in other countries and always wanted to be elsewhere and it gets hard #especially being left untethered after relationships break or friendships fade #I still have friendships but this is my place right now and whatever I need to find next I have to find it where I am #trying to bond with people locally feels like I'm in school again. super worried it won't work yet so happy when it does #there's an uncertainty to it and it's. different #but also last few times I was with people I didn't feel the need to be on my phone at all save from showing the person something #which is. foreign to me #idk. something is changing and shifting towards what I've been searching for. just a bit #the steps have been small. and are still small. it's like climbing up a spiral staircase #been going on forever. long way come and nowhere near the top #but it's like I just passed a window and noticed the view is really nice out #this was brought to you by: upstairs neighbour woke me up at 4 again #bien rambles

#WPVG #WPTS2 #The Sims #The Sims 2 #Things accomplished: Made ZEX and DAX and had them fall in love <3 #Then moved in the Captain :3c For shenanigans #He looks like pirate fic!Captain lol #Made a set of I BELIEVE classic green alien boxers (lol)#And upgraded the Vargases' church so there is now a place to pee #And also the confessional booths are prettier - curtains! - and there's a little play area for kids and toddlers #I was gonna add a balcony but the windows got in the way :( Next time - in the real town when I actually move them in #I've also been working on the Vargases' clothes in the background - I am actively choosing to be very extra about Scriabin's coat lol #Does it even count if it doesn't have the wrist and waist ties tho - I think no #Which means hopefully! thinking about the years they spend sharing shoebox apartments and working shitty retail gigs together and sleeping in the same bed not only because they can’t afford two rooms but because neither of them can sleep alone and no one else can stomach the nightmares, and one day they’re fucking around and robin’s got her trumpet out and they end up writing a song about feeling like your head is a haunted house and you’re the ghost, and learning to hold hands and walk the creaky stairs together, and they didn’t expect anything from writing it except to maybe exorcise some of their demons but someone convinces them to try it out at an open mic and maybe there’s an agent or a scout or something there and boom suddenly little talks is all over the radio

and so they keep writing and robin writes from finner and steve writes king and lionheart and they write sloom and mountain sound and slow and steady together and suddenly they have a whole record written and this isn’t where they expected to end up but they’re together and that’s always been enough

(also steve writes your bones about spring break ‘86 and it’s up to you if eddie survived and hears it and is like OwO or if he died and it’s a whole big angsty thing)

i’ve been kinda low energy for my entire life at this point i think it’s just how i am

#i can go out and do like (1) thing a day and that’s about it #went to optometrist today and now i just want to sleep for 5 yrs but instead i have a meeting tonight 😴 why #and on family vacations my parents would be running around to soo many different sightseeing places every day #whereas i’d go to one place and after about five minutes i’d want to go back to the hotel #it was a lot more fun being on vacation by myself last week i just window shopped all day and wandered around and got lost #and then at night i’d go to a bar and chill #i just don’t have that much energy idk how anyone else does it
