You know, Transformers: Robots in Disguise 2015 would have been better if it was set in 100 years into the future. I think if the series had Bumblebee return to Earth where 100 years had passed, then would be more understandable as to why the previous human characters didn't show up.

It also would make more sense why the other tfrid human characters who aren't Denny and Russell would fall the excuses that Denny, Russell, and the Autobots make up whenever a human spots them because it's the future and there are giant robots almost everywhere.

Still not finishing the Covenant of Primus, but TFRID 2015 making Fallen/Megatronus as the big bad is one of the biggest fumble in Transformers fandom.

Megatronus in Covenant of Primus was just an angry dumbass who simply got the end of the sticks by Prima and Leigh Maximo. There was not once moment he turned to evil or Unicron side, even though he got screamed in the face that he was so similar to Unicron.

Gosh, there should have been a heartfelt moment between Fallen/Megatronus and revival Optimus Prime (since he was the reincarnation of Thirteen, right), since Thirteen was the only one protecting Megatronus from getting jumped by other Primes after killing Solus and allowing him to explain his side.

Megatronus Prime was such a fascinating character that I hate Hasbros be like, "heh, heh, let make him a generic big baddie"

I have several WIPs I like so it would be a hard to pick a favourite, so I will pick the one of two ongoing at the moment aside from Winx Miko: Rid Fae

What started as initially a rid2015 rewrite ended up diverging so much that it became it's own continuity with the addition of magic and magical creatures. While also using also linking some of tfp to it. While it starts at the same place, with team Bee forming on Earth, fighting Underbite and setting their base in Denny Scrapyard, it starts to diverge in several ways with one of the first being that Denny and Russel being changelings (Which is initially hidden from the bots and Russel hides it from his dad) and many ways major and minor.

While I am still developing some individual parts, I got alot of worldbuilding done, have a couple of Ocs that play major roll like Jenny and Violet and the overall arc for each "season" I want to make for it, like for season one it would be the introduction to the fae world and the mystery surrounding the Alchemor and it's prisoners. It might be a bit self indulgent, But I find it really fun to develop it

This Human's a cinnamon roll, somewhat naive/innocent, (has the personality/backstory of Perrito from the Puss in Boots movie or Fluttershy from MLP). They're very motherly and being nurse/therapy-like friend and also a Pacifist yet can be passive-aggressive…

I loved Perrito's character in the movie! His backstory bits where a bit of a twist yet it works! I hope I did a good job adopting his character into Buddy's. Lets see how Buddy's dynamic goes with some of the members of the Con's pack.

Bot Buddy is a minicon with a dog alt mode.

Why is the world is Buddy with these criminals?

Well, Steeljaw had stumbled across the confused minicon with a large garbage can on top of their helm. He grabbed the can off to see Buddy.

“Oh! Thank you!”--Buddy

“Erm… you’re welcome?”--Steeljaw

“Wow it’s been a long time since I’ve talked to someone. Even longer since that can’s been on my helm! That reminds me—”--Buddy

“Right… Do you have a place to go? A team perhaps?”--Steeljaw

“Nope I’ve been a part of a team before but more importantly do you want to be my friend? I can do cool tricks, I have a handy tool kit and—”--Buddy

“Can you do patch work?”--Steeljaw

“Oh you bet I can!”--Buddy

“Hmmmm… I guess I could be your friend— what are you doing?”--Steeljaw

“I’m trying to hug you?”--Buddy

“… Oh Primus…”--Steeljaw

If the Autobots could have a minibot, why couldn’t he? Buddy becomes a medic for the Cons as more join the ranks. The Cons, especially the newer ones, don’t know who Buddy is even around them. They know that they aren’t innocent and pure, but Buddy seems to be made of pure light and positivity that it hurts.

Steeljaw

Steeljaw doesn’t regret picking up Buddy despite what he might say sometimes when he is angry.

Buddy had made themselves a rather vital member of the pack whether it was intentional or not.

Not only was Buddy excellent at patchwork, but there was something about them that made everyone let their guard down.

Steeljaw even felt himself slipping sometimes when their talks go on for a bit.

“Oh! That reminds me of the time my friend pushed me off the ship while the ship was taking off! I fell near some of the acid waste, but I managed to land on a pile of sharp scrap. Oh! I also saw the prettiest piece of kibble that day!”--Buddy

“You’re friend… pushed you off a moving shuttle?”--Steeljaw

“No, the accidentally pushed me after they opened the shuttle door.”--Buddy

“…”--Steeljaw

He is disturbed hearing Buddy backstory.

Just how??

Their backstory screams anger, pain, resentment. Buddy just smiles and looks at their experience positively.

If the Bee team ever came across Buddy and tried to ‘rescue’ them, Steeljaw is unleashing the entire pack on them.

Buddy belongs to the pack and no Autobot is going to take them away from pack.

Thunderhoof

Thunderhoof was confused over Buddy existence. He has never met a bot this nice; it seems suspicious.

If they’re playing a game, then so can he!

It isn’t until Thunderhoof has a ‘friendship bracelet’ around his servo that he realizes that this might not be a game.

He takes Buddy under his metaphorical wing.

He does tell Buddy that he expects their loyalty, but Buddy is too busy hugging his ped to really notice too much.

Buddy mentions a bit of their backstory and he has to pause whatever he is doing.

“That was so cool! That reminds me the one time some of my friends and I were playing hide and seek—”--Buddy

“Hmm yeah?”--Thunderhoof

“—And I had to hide and, and guess what? Guess what Thunderhoof!”--Buddy

“What kid?”--Thunderhoof

“I hid in a scrapyard for 3 weeks! I am still the best hider ever! They said they checked everywhere but that just proves how good of a hider I am!”--Buddy

“…What?”--Thunderhoof

How was Buddy not vengeful? Not bloodthirsty? Not mean?

After all of that…

Thunderhoof does have a chat with Steeljaw about their past and they both agree to keep an optic on them.

He is ready to ram any bot if they come close to Buddy.

Underbite

Meeting Buddy was rather eventful as Underbite nearly ate them. A swift kick to the helm via Steeljaw stopped that though.

He ‘apologized’ and to his surprise Buddy forgave him.

Underbite brags all the time about his achievements to Buddy and Buddy just listens happily.

He comes to Buddy when he feels the need to brag mainly.

Buddy mentions a bit about their backstory, and he feels uncomfortable.

“The way you crushed that tin can reminds me that time my friends brought me to a trash crusher and accidentally pushed the on button! They were so silly and it was such a fun prank.”--Buddy

“You… nearly got crushed in a crusher?”--Underbite

“Yeah! Its was such a cool prank!”--Buddy

“… I’m just gonna go over there for a bit…”--Underbite

He doesn’t press anymore on this subject. This is not his suite and will not touch the Feelings.

He is willing to help Buddy out of a tight situation.

Who else is he supposed to brag to about his achievements.

Clampdown

He uses Buddy at first.

No one in the pack can seem to hurt Buddy so they make a perfect shield.

This has worked for a while. Buddy even offered to be his shield which he greatly takes advantage of this.

Until Buddy lets loose one of their backstory tales he backs off immediately.

“Are you okay?”--Buddy

“Yeah, yeah I guess still got my shell.”—Clampdown

“That reminds me the time my friends accidentally forgotten me under some rocks for a bit. And guess what!”--Buddy

“…what—”--Clampdown

“I chewed my pedes off to get out and crawl to a med kit! I saw the prettiest sunset that day.”--Buddy

“… I—I—Who are you?”--Clampdown

He is horrified hearing this and thinks that Buddy is an evil mastermind.

This was all an act! It has to be!

He does not care too much about if Buddy was taken by the Bee team. Maybe a little bit guilty, but that’s about it.

Quillfire

Like everyone else Quillfire is confused and suspicious of Buddy. After a bit of time, he gets used to Buddy.

He can rant and tell Buddy of his plan for revolution.

Buddy just listens intently and just feeds off of his enthusiasm.

He gets in on some of Buddy’s backstory and he is horrified.

“You throw those quills so far Quillfire!”--Buddy

“Yes! Each one was in the name for the Revolution!”--Quillfire

“Yeah! The Revolution! You know, this reminds me of that one time one of my friends thought it was funny to put me in a stasis pod and, and guess what! They shot me out of a canon into space! That’s actually how I got here—Umm… Quillfire?”--Buddy

Quillfire hugging Buddy with some tears in his optics.

How could sweet little Buddy be okay after that!? Quillfire wants to wrap them in a blanket and give them a cube full of energon. They deserve better friends.

Quillfire will die for Buddy.

He will throw any plan to the wind if Buddy is in danger. Quills will be thrown if Buddy is in danger.

Steeljaw

He really likes your kind and peaceful behavior.

Mainly because it helps defuse the situation in his squad. They already have enough problems, even without any conflicts in squad

Plus the fact that even he himself sometimes needs to relax also plays a role.

He also makes sure that you don't get into trouble with your naivety.

And yet, Steeljaw is sure that there is something more in you.

True, he didn’t expect that it would be your ability to be passive aggressive, but that’s not the point.

He makes sure that you don't say things like that to someone like Megatronus or Cyclonus, as he reasonably believes that they might take it extremely negatively.

Thunderhoof

Thunderhoof will deny it to the last moment, but he likes your kindness.

Not in the way he likes it as a potential tool. He just likes that you don't suck up to him like some of his enforcers.

Although, to be honest, he wouldn’t mind if you toned down your naivety.

However, he subconsciously expects you to have mean - or at least not the friendliest - side. He's right, even if not quite in the way he expected.

Passive-aggressive phrases surprise him, but not much. Why - see above.

If you say something like that to him, he feels annoyed, but not very much.

He also tries to make sure that you don't piss anyone off with your passive aggression.

Fracture

At first, he is suspicious of your kindness.

He often encountered seemingly good Cybertronians who turned out to be evil and cruel.

Gradually, however, Fracture gets used to it and stops reacting skeptically to your words.

Out of the entire list, he is the most relaxed about your passive-aggressive side.

Often he tells his minicons that no, it didn’t seem to them and that you really said something like that.

However, this doesn't mean that he will not keep an eye on whoever you say this to.

Underbite

Another Decepticon who warms to your peacefulness.

He can sometimes get annoyed by conflicts between other horses, so having a kind of peacemaker seems like a good fit for him.

Underbite especially loves it when you calm him down after a hard day.

Chompazoid never thought that you sometimes can be a little less friendly.

So when he hears a passive-aggressive comment directed at another Decepticon, he freezes in place in surprise, trying to process what he's heard.

However, after some time, he comes to the conclusion that this is quite funny.

Clampdown

Loves your peaceful personality.

Often uses you to resolve conflicts with Thunderhoof.

Clampdown especially likes the fact that you don't mock him for his cowardice.

Because of this, he doesn’t even think that you might have a dark side.

Imagine his surprise when you show passive aggression towards Thunderhoof during one of their conflicts.

Just in case, he even checks with his forced ally to see if he thought something similar was happening.

Decides not to waste his time thinking about this topic.

Grrrrr hello anon! Ty for the request, I hope this is what you were looking for- I can always do another if not 🫶(I haven't watched tfrid in a hot minute, hopefully I didn't forget anyone- lmao)

Steeljaw: He admires your ability to keep everyone in check in spite of your small size, though you're also slightly unnerving to him. How can you be so kind and patient after the life you've lived? He trusts you, but he'll also try to keep an eye on you, just in case.

Thunderhoof: To him, you're a pleasant change of pace compared to the rest of the group. Since you're so kind and relaxed, he often goes to you to unwind after a long day. Of course, in front of the others he'd treat you the same as everyone else, but when he's alone with you he's actually a pretty decent dude.

Fracture (+Divebomb & Airazor): He'd never admit it, but he's rather fond of you. Sometimes he worries about you since you're a pacifist, and he'll try to convince you to train with him and teach you some swordsmanship skills. As he sees your ability to keep people in check with your passive-aggressiveness, he slowly relaxes and doesnt bother you about training as much. His minicons, Divebomb and Airazor, are obsessed with you. They think you're amazing! They always try to grab your attention to play games with you while the others are on missions. You're like a parent to them, and Fracture only trusts you to watch over them when he can't take them on a mission.

Underbite: He tries to keep up his tough and intimidating reputation, but he's really just a big sweetheart. Underneath all that bulk is a golden retriever personality, and it shines around you. He'd die on the spot if anyone ever found out, but he loves playing catch with you. You always make sure that he gets enough metal to eat so he doesn't get distracted during missions, and his performance continues to improve thanks to you.

Clampdown: Whenever he gets in trouble with the others, which is often, he'll run to hide behind you. Your pleasant demeanor is usually able to calm the situation before someone loses their cool at him. The poor coward clings to you like glue, staying with you for protection.

kobd: the wildbreak theory

So, let it be known Mercy loves this piece of shit show - only for the Stunticons and specifically Wildbreak 

He’s my favorite character ever, only because every time i see him i go: “omg same” 

HOWEVER, the Wildbreak appreciation post comes later - I got some damning proof this fucker is a KOBD child.

This is fucking long. And only me being obsessed would produce this masteriece.

Buckle up BUCKAROOS- 

So, to begin. 

The famous fan theory in Transformers is that Wildbreak is the love child of Breakdown and Knockout from TFP. 

It’s so popular that everytime you see domestic KOBD art, there’s a good chance a tiny little Wildbreak is in there. 

Usually comes from the fact that TF:RID 2015 is a sequel series to TFP, as well as Wildbreak has an image likened to both of them. He is a Stunticon like Breakdown, but has similarities to Knockout. blah blah, someone already made a shorter post that explains the appearance factor- 

HOWEVER MORE EVIDENCE- I have it. 

Let’s talk about Wildbreak’s Weapon. 

Cutie pie does not get a lot of screen time, in fact, all he gets is five episodes he appears in and one dedicated to him and Dragstrip mainly.

So this episode is all we get of him + Dragstrip + Dragbreak 

In the ep, Dragstrip and Wildbreak stole Windblade’s weapon stash and are being chased down by Bee and the gang. They only get one fight scene and its as Dragbreak [Wildbreak/Dragstrip combined]. 

So when I saw that Dragbreak had a weapon in the form of a HAMMER ON A STICK - I thought huh, sounds too good to be true.

Because isnt it funny that KOBD weapon combo would be a hammer on a stick. 

Let’s assess. aka let mercy ramble at 2am

At first im like, that couldn’t be KO’s weapon [”a shock stick”] cause his is notorious shaped like a “trident” and its extendable.

[lol it has to be the toy model cause TFP’S LIGHTING IS SO DARK I CANT GET A GOOD SCREENSHOT OF IT] 

Until....

I sped it down by 0.25 and i see it transform into this

my ass lifted from the seat AS I WAS LOOKING AT A HAMMER AND A TRIDENT STAFF- THAT IS EXTENDABLE-

AND ITS CONFIRMED TO BE WILDBREAK’S WEAPON BECAUSE

this is Dragstrip’s weapon

its even seen with DRAGBREAK- 

AND NOTHING ABOUT IT CHANGED! IT DIDNT BECOME ANYTHING DIFFERENT or combo with Wildbreaks- ITS JUST DRAGSTRIPS GUN

Which meannnsssss THIS NEVER BEFORE SEEN, HAMMER ON A TRIDENT STAFF HAS TO BE WILDBREAKS. 

I even looked into the older G1 Stunticons for further reference and saw that all Stunticons had guns p much, especially Dragstrip. And I looked at G1 Wildrider and Breakdown since thats where Wildbreak’s namesake came from and...they both have guns. No hammer or staff. Which means- 

The inspo for a Hammer and Staff sounds like it came from ~~

Hello everyone, welcome to half way point where Mercy acknowledges that she’s lost her fucking mind and cant stop the conspiracy theories on her fav character from a show no one watched. 

However I just like to say as a funny side note, that Wildbreak is voiced by Kakashi and Dragstrip is Brain from Pinkie & the Brain. 

Literally looking at the voice cast list for EVERYONE in this show and you’ll realize where the budget actually went. CAUSE IT WASNT TO THE WRITERS-

In fact, Wildbreak is so cute and helpful, he did a 180 for me to see front and back. uwu 

Even Dragstrip doesnt have any that resemble his gun or retractable hammer.

Why wouldn’t they reuse the weapon models?? ...unless they were specifically suppose to be weapons for Dragstrip and Wildbreak~

Baby Chompazoids

Ok, because I can't keep my thoughts short and simple i had to make an entire new post for this. This is a continuation of this post:

So go there for a bit of context

Anyways, the question was if baby Chompazoids would also have feathers, being a sub-species of Dinobots and all that ( @x-vivern-x ). The answer: kind of. The Chompazoids have been compared to dogs many times by the TF wiki, but more important to me would be that the Chompazoids look very similar to Gorgonopsids, an old group of mammals. Taking those facts and The Chomps preference towards violence into account I've come up with this: Just like Dinobots, Chompazoids are born with feathers, but they aren't necessarily needed, their armor is thick enough to help them maintain a pleasant temperature without insulation. Even if they were needed, they wouldn't last very long, because baby chompaziods seem to take enjoyment in ripping their own fur-feathers out, like the little psychos they are. (Long story short, yes, they are born with feathers, but they rip them all out in the first week just because they can)

Here are some bonus facts about these lil' creechurs bc I have way too much time on my hands:

Chompazoids only stay with their parents for a week to a month after being born, before going off on their own and tearing through everything in their path

Little Chomps eat scraplets

Baby Chomps have no sense of balance and waddle around like mini wrecking balls most of the time

They don't have fur, but they don't have feathers. They have a strange in-between

Chompazoids wag their tails like dogs when their happy

Baby Chomps don't roar; they SCREECH

Chompazoids absolutely HATE being on their backs

Bumblebee, because Grimlock saw him firstly as a very very VERY close friend, to the state he understood that Bee flirts with him after a longer while.
