Back in 2017 I created this piece of my favorite background pony, Stellar Eclipse. My Little Amnesia ponies is what got me into Creepy ponies in the first place, and I wanted to do a version of that for Stellar Eclipse.

Having Thoughts and Feelings about Stellar Eclipse. Largely about the fact that ALiCE and Like Falling Stars got revised versions and Stellar Eclipse hasn't, and likely won't because by the time it was published I had more intensive editing (including, you know, hiring an actual editor) so it is less needed than it was for my first two releases.

But there are still things I'd change about Stellar Eclipse. Mostly Dark Lightning--there's a lot of things going on in the background that are kind of key to understanding the tension and conflict in Lumi Gera that I'd like to slow down and showcase more. And in Cloudless Rain, I'd definitely like to more closely examine Selkess's motives and the ideology behind the cult and what, exactly, he's even trying to accomplish and why people follow him.

I will probably release a "Special Edition" volume when Echoed Thunder is ready that is an omnibus of all three books of the main trilogy, with updated versions of Cloudless Rain and Dark Lightning included to provide something extra for those who have already read the published versions. None of the changes I'd make would alter the outcomes or character relationships, but there's some conversations which currently happen off-screen or were omitted for space that I think would be beneficial to include in an updated version.

Jacqueline Cyril Allen is the successful businesswoman of the biotechnology company Allen Corporation and the most mysterious leader of the mafia, called “Vipère” in Paris, who sells biological and technological weapons such as viruses, parasites, etc. to the other mafia leaders and the black market.

No one knows about her past or how she became the mafia leader. Jacquline can be seen as a well-mannered and social person in front of society. However, on the other side, she is a cruel, cold-hearted, manipulative, and bright woman, using her brain and claws filled with all kinds of venom as weapons. For some reason, Allen hates Eclipse and his allies but is trying to hide it. In her opinion, other small gangs and kingpins are pathetic and of the lowest rank, while she deals with powerful mafia leaders in Tokyo, Washington, London, and Stellar City.

Be careful with Jacqueline Allen; she might be a pretty flower, but she has spikes full of venom.
