She’s the best pilot hands down. Her and Han literally have beef and he knows she’s better 💕

the amount of times she escaped from the empire is insane. she’s also a general!! and was able to fly ships successfully on planets with weird gravity!!

i dont remember the names of the eps but the entire B-wing episode And that time she outflew Darth "the greastest star pilot in the galaxy" Vader with him in his nice little maneuverable modified TIE and her in a /FRIEGHTER/. Hera best Star Wars Pilot of all time

One of the foundational members of the Rebel Alliance, leader of Phoenix Squadron, Hera's skills as a pilot has saved countless lives, not to mention getting her crew and family out of tight spaces in the nick of time 

There isn't a pilot in the imperial fleet who can outrun her!!!! And she parents a whole crew while she does it. no one is doing it like Hera. No added help of force sensitivity because she is simply THAT GOOD. THEE pilot of all time, ever.

She outflew literal Anakin Skywalker without the force.

One time she flew through an imperial hanger in orbit and jumped to hyperspace while in the middle of it to get past the blockade. Also she beats out force sensitive pilots just by being so good at it

Look at the size of that thing!

Wedge Antilles is the only man to participate in both Death Star runs and survive. Not only that, he fired one of the shots that destroyed the second one and managed to get out as it was blowing up around him. And that's not counting all the other battles he's flown in. The man's a survivor, making it through the battles of Atollon, Scarif, Hoth, Kashyyyk, Jakku, and countless others.

Only other pilot aside from Luke skywalker to have flown in and survived both Death Star runs

Uhhhh they are a legendary hero of the New Republic, have survived two Death Stars, lead the infamous Rogue Squadron and Wraith Squadron and is just THE BEST.

I mean he's one of two pilots to survive the attack on the Death Star in ANH. He also befriended Luke Skywalker which makes him just a little bit of a madman by association

Plo Koon:

best pilot? There's a fair chance of him being beat on flight skills compared to the other competitors of this tournament, but he an amazing jedi with a cool design and an awesome yellow lightsaber and I like him, so there

He should NOT be allowed to drive but drive he does and he gets where he's going and how. Even when the ship is barely functional (probably his fault). No but he's the first one who popped in my head when I saw this tournament and I bet it was the same for several others. Pod racing is like His Thing™ in episode 1 and from then on he frightens and amazes with his piloting. I think that's what truly drove obiwan gray so young. Let's ignore his uh, future self that ALSO probably is what drove obi wan gray

Chass Na Chadic:

A B-Wing pilot member of Alphabet Squadron. She flies into battle blasting music and idolizes Jyn Erso so she has good taste. She was also drunkenly crowned the queen of all starfighters and fizzy drinks so come on, she basically already won

She is literally the Sword of the Jedi, she had all of her father’s piloting skills and then some due to her force sensitivity, she was leading the Twin Suns squadrons against the Vong and also managed to trick them into thinking she’s a literal goddess

She starts flying the Falcon at age nine. She rebuilds her own TIE fighter from a wreck and installs a hyperdrive. She's a super competent Rogue Squadron pilot in the New Republic military. She sets records flying through asteroid fields. She's helmed X-wings, TIE fighters, freighters, her aunt's military grade custom shuttle, and just about anything she can get her hands on. She is the top pilot in that timeline.

Daughter of Han Solo, granddaughter of Anakin Skywalker, trained by Mara Jade Skywalker and given command of the Twin Suns Squadron by Luke Skywalker

Soran Keize:

He is the leader of Shadow Wing who helped make them so feared and in the Disney canon is basically the best pilot the Empire has. He is also a very complex and interesting character with a unique perspective on redemption

He has the forrrrrrrrrrce (also a villain faked Corran’s death by making his fighter crash) (I am aware this works against his flight ability but it was very cool) on a more serious note he is just extremely epic 

Ciena Ree:

She is an imperial pilot who is incredibly talented, she was only loyal to the Empire due to her culture’s strong emphasis on keeping up vows, but she still was a Star Destroyer captain before the age of 25. She’s also in a very emotional romance with a Rebel pilot and I just love this book and these characters so much
