I’m sure you can guess his gift based on the title, but Dannoura doesn’t receive one, so deeming her useless, her class makes leave her behind to be eaten by a dragon. Luckily for her, Takatou was still there.

First Impression: My Instant Death Ability is Overpowered

As Yogiri Takatou dreams of his violent childhood, violence surrounds him once again. But no worries for Takatou, who must be wrested from his sleep by Dannoura, because he has an ability that will help the two survive in the world they’ve apparently been isekai’d to with their classmates. Except that the vast majority of their classmates are no longer on the bus that drove them into this fantasy dimension. You see, they’ve already abandoned Takatou, Dannoura, and two others lacking in magical abilities. The rest were given the “Battle Song” system, which installs a “gift”, by the deadly sage Shion, and they decided to go on their first mission while leaving the others to die on the bus as sacrifices to a wyvern. Little does anyone suspect, including returning classmates who mean who take advantage of Dannoura, that Takatou has an OP ability—to bring instant death on whomever he wishes.

Now I know what it feels like to be a manga reader and seeing the anime adaptations of the manga... look at em... they're moving... and they have voices... and there's music... whooaaa...

#aria rants #talking bout mashle and sokushi cheat ga saikyou sugite. im not completing the title of the latter its one of the long ones #my babies... lookit em... even if it isnt a 1-1 to the manga its like aww... theyre moving and speaking with voices #and THERES COLOUR! whooaaa...#am so lazy watching anime but for these two i will watch it anyway. ill tune in weekly for the episodes for em #love mashle for the comedy and honestly sokushi cheat is like pretty average. its your typical-ish isekai story #but the manga grew on me. the characters all have their own unique charms and i love the dannoura family stories #and takatou is pretty interesting too. just overall a fun read for me so seeing its anime is so nice. also i wanna see the sage's downfall #honestly thats the main thing im looking forward to in the story. i wanna see her be faced with the reality that she isnt the strongest now #and its her own fault too cuz she brought these kids there. and by these kids i mean tomochika and takatou. mainly takatou #that sage is so prideful that it became her own undoing. deserved rlly. ya can tell i dont like her. she disregards life tsk

Been seeing this one in the bookstore for a while now. Art always looked interesting, but never really got tempted to pick it up.. first episode has an OK set up. Seems like a mix of high school prodigies have it easy and Arifureta, but there’s no gravity to the plot at all. At least in Arifureta Hajime had to grind to get OP. This dude just spawns completely broken, and not the cautious hero type of funny broken.

MC literally can just say die and people drop dead? What stakes could there possibly be in the story? What challenges will he have to overcome? I suppose that in and of itself isn’t inherently bad, since a lot of people just like seeing really OP main characters and hot girls. But for those with less time on their hands, this probably won’t be a must watch.

Same generic rapey trope with the students wanting to use female lead’s body as a sex toy after killing her.. nothing really stood out here.

I do like the art style and I’ll probably enjoy some aspects of it because I’m an isekai seasonal merchant, but low expectations here. I don’t think there’ll be a compelling narrative, more-so just the satisfaction of seeing the MC kill bad people with his ability.

I do think the girl is really cute too so that’s a plus.

The censored gore given it’s on Hidive was a surprise though.

Damas y caballeros fue un placer ver este anime con ustedes. Veamos solo puedo decir que este anime fue divertido ver al prota todo super roto matando a los malos de turno en cada capitulo y las escenas tanto cómicas como ecchi aunque ecchi no había mucho que digamos. La historia entretenida pero fumada eso si. La calificación que le doy es 8.5/10. La calificación de critica será 6/10 la historia esta super resumida básicamente resumieron 3 volúmenes de la novela ligera o incluso mas en 12 capítulos. Un anime que no crea que vuelva a ver a menos que quiera matar el tiempo nada mas.
