synopsis : calling your boyfriend (one piece men) by their real name, instead of their nickname, as a prank.

author’s note : hi ghouls! welcome to my blog, i hope you enjoy your stay. this first post is short, but i thought it was fun, i definitely plan to do more like this.

monkey d. luffy.

he doesn't even realize you're saying luffy. he had been too distracted, thinking of what he would eat, as soon as the ship was docked in the nearest city.

"luffy, can you do me a favor?" you asked, focused on peeling the fruit. he nodded, before usopp nudged his shoulder.

"what did you do?"

"what?"

"is she upset or something?" he asked, the words dawning on the captain. you used his government, and not the name you had given him, lovebug.

why was he luffy now, and not lovebug? had he done something? impossible, all he had been doing all morning is thinking of the different meats he'd try-ah! perhaps you were in need of affection. it wasn't until becoming your s/o that he began to understand the need to give and receive affection.

stretching his arms, he pulled you close, taking away any personal space you had previously.

"y/n"

"yes?"

"please never call me anything other than lovebug," he said shamelessly, your heart warmed at his cuteness.

"aw, it was only a prank lovebug," you reassured, pecking his lips.

roronoa zoro.

he immediately notices, and feels uncomfortable. after a minor heated conversation, you mischievously planned to make him feel guilty, only as a joke, of course.

"zoro, you should come get some food, you know sanji won't save you any," you called out, making sure to use his birth name, instead of the name he grew to enjoy, darling.

were you really so upset, you'd use such a name, when darling suited him better. the term flowed perfectly from your lips, when speaking to him, he couldn't understand why you'd want to use his name.

"what did you just call me?" he asked, towering over you, brows furrowed.

"zo-

"i know we were fighting, but you know how that makes me feel, calling me that," he grumbled. he always struggled with communication, but with you, he'd lowly shared how he felt, which always managed to move you deeply.

"darling, i was only joking," you laughed, as he sighed.

"good"

"but i was serious about sanji, and you know luffy is only willing to wait so long, before he devours the rest”

usopp.

he won't notice immediately, but after a few times, he is in shambles. he was doing his usual theatrical story telling, and you had yet to spend any actual time with him.

"usopp"

"and there i was, everyone else was scared, but i knew i could save them-

"usopp"

"one second, honey"

"usopp," you repeated, nearly giggling as he visibly froze, realizing you had been calling him usopp, and not cutie patootie.

"excuse me fellas," he nodded at the surrounding group, leading you away from everyone, before holding each hand in his own.

"honey, is everything okay?" he asked, you seemed to be enjoying yourself before, laughing alongside nami, before she left you.

you were thinking of something to say, but the puppy dog eyes made you surrender quickly.

"it was only a harmless prank, my cutie patootie," you said, pecking his lips.

"you had me worried for a second," he said, scooping you into his arms, spinning around.

vinsmoke sanji.

he will notice immediately, and will be in complete distress. you were helping him cook dinner, when you decided to mess with him. while he was flirting all the time, he was a bit more focused when cooking, and that could bore you at times.

"sanji, can you taste this?" you were whisking the cake batter, while he placed the roast into the oven.

"sanji-" you turned around, his jaw practically hanging on the floor.

"what have i done? scold me, i am a wretched man, how have i upset my queen so greatly, that you choose to use such a name," he said, going to his knees, holding your waist.

"sanji, it was only a prank, i was only messing around sweet pea," you told him, as he stood, embracing you.

"the apple of my eyes, you are, i hate when you call me anything other than your sweet pea," he spoke.

"if you two do anything near the food, i'm giving both of you terrible haircuts," zoro spoke, making you both jump, while he walked away.

-“you stood out from the group across the room! I had to keep my attention on you!!!!”

‣ he’s definitely a fan! Of nb ridaz. For sure will go to any concert if they’re performing at any island the straw hats land.

‣ “eres la princesa qUe Me VUELE lOCOOOOOO!!!!!!” HES even got chopper, usopp and sanji on this song 🤦🏽‍♀️

‣ the minute y’all play this song after a while, luffy will scream on the top of this lungs to every song that’s on. it’s adorable 😭❤️

-“HAVE I EVER TOLD YOU BABY!? THAT YOU DRIVE ME CRAZY!! A GOOD CRAZY!” he was just singing random lyrics from this group. Since the group had made new songs. He follows MC Magic (the guy who does the talk box) and loves this one song which I’ll link here

Zoro

‣ he’s just like….what?

‣ “ I hate it.” he lied he loved

‣ he snickered at the part where chino grande says “baby gorl don’t cry 🫦”

-he wanted to do that for Halloween the makeup so y’all did that.

-hums the tune when sharpening his swords.

‣ “why are you playing it again?” You ask him?

‣”you like the song don’t you?”

‣”yeah-“

‣”then don’t complain.” He pouted because he secretly loves it

‣ “is youuuu.. and I wouldn’t trade it…” he’ll bop his head to the song, and tap his feet to it..

Sanji

‣ “how do you know that song?” He was shocked and his heart was fluttering

‣ he’ll ask you because his mom would always sing a certain song to him when he was little. He told you it would always have him sound asleep, or leave a smile on his face.

‣“I’ve always heard this song playing when I was little. It stuck with me.” you sigh in nostalgia and happiness where you had those moments at the flea markets with your family eating elotes, tacos and street food.

‣“dance with me.” you’ll grab his hand and hug on his sleeve.

‣”as you wish my darling, just let me start it over again.” He puffed out his cigarette placing it on his ashtray. Starting the track over on the speaker.

‣ “remember when I told you about my mother singing me a certain song if I ever felt sad, or frustrated?” he gazed at you eagerly. You nodded in response and smiled at the fact you knew what he was going to say

‣”is this the song?”

‣”yeah…..” he explained how it was a comfort to him after him opening up to you about his family. you never felt so bad for such a man who has such a loving presence and a very big heart.

‣”ill try my best to sing it for you as often as I can.” He’ll whisper into your ear before kissing your temple, and tell you how lucky he is to have you.

‣ after a few days ago by when y’all land to a new island, the song plays again from a live band. You smile at him “may I have this dance amor?”

‣ he giggled and took your hand “yes yes you may.” He’ll kiss the tip of your nose, and sing in your ear. The way this man sings is heavenly 🥰

‣ “my angel baby is what I am going to call you from now on..” he’ll mumble as a blush appears on his face.

‣ it’s now your theme song. because he sings it or hums it all the time when he’s with you.

‣ so now anything with angels, or anything that says angel baby he buys it for you 😭❤️

‣any song with oldies he’s in love for real 🥰

I love trans women usopp. She would be so pretty but still be the same goofy ass usopp as usual. She still lies (she likes to add flirtatious charm or empathy. Babe learned how to cry on command.) Still cowers, dramatic as fuck and bickers with her crew

Sanji would swoon and act a fool towards as he does to Robin and Nami. During fights he jumps in wanting to protect her. 'Don't worry usopp darling! I'll save you! My sweet!'. Before he could finish his affections she's already sprinted the fuck out of there with out hesitation.

She's more touchy with Robin and uses her a Zoro 2.0 and hides behind her and drags her into her shenanigans. Robin likes to use a disembodied hand to shove her or smack the back of the head if she does something stupid. (Platonically of course you know the straw hats. Their Love language is physical violence towards each other)

Her dynamic with Nami did not change. They still cower in fear together, run away together, fight together and yell at Luffy together. They've only gotten closer, they even started fighting with each other more.

Her relationship with Zoro didn't change that much either girly still be yelling at him and criticizing his sense of direction. They still fight with each other, call each other names. Zoro still sees usopp as his equal she's still usopp. Is she still a liar, she's still over dramatic, Still a coward but she never misses her target and that's all he cares about. If only she'd stop nagging him.

She still thinks Franky is cool and is amazed by his engineering. His poses tho are kind of lame to her now but in a cute way. She will laugh whenever he does it. Franky sees her as a little sister which isn't saying much because he used to see her as a little brother. Brook is the same, nothing changed but he does ask her about her panties and you wouldn't believe this but she did let him see them. once!! and only once she was very strict about that and he never asked again.

Her and Luffy are still best friends and still good off. They're still very touchy and grabby. (I love how he doesn't see women's bodies as inherently sexual he just sees them as bodies) He still will wrestle with her, wraps around her and fall asleep next to her or on top of her. He has landed on top of her many times and she has yelled at him many times that he can't do that anymore! her boobs aren't cushions they hurt!

The only real change was sanji (I ship them but for the sake of this post it's one sided) sanji is a gentleman chivalry is his policy and he will treat any lady with the utmost respect (At least that's what he tells himself) he makes her drinks, treats and puts a lot of effort into the dinners that she eats like the other girls. When she started transitioning and developing he started going nuts for her. Usopp ate that shit up not only was it gender euphoric to be treated like the other women but she can ask sanji to do or buy her anything and he'll do it. She fucking loves attention that hasn't changed

Sometimes he'll revert back to his old ways with her especially when they get into an argument. He doesn't care if she's a gorgeous woman with pretty hair, a luscious body and smells like lemon and rosemary! (He does care. He cares so much. It's pathetic) stop bitching and start fishing!... Please darling.

Her fashion sense tho. It's the same but better She has sun hats, cabbie hats, brimmed braise, regular berets, beanies, buckets, cloche, and so many headbands. Short overalls, baggy overalls, jumpsuits of various sizes. She doesn't like wearing shirts she never did, unlike the other women on the boat she doesn't like letting her girls loose. It's not practical or functional for her line of work. She wears a sports bra or something with great support. Her favorite top is a high neck sports bra with a zipper in the front. Her hair is usually in a protective hair style. French braids with Afro puffs in the back or regular ponytail. She likes to let it down sometimes but it gets in the way. She's not that girly but she still wants to turn heads

In short she didn't really change and her crew treats her the same and the changes that did happen benefited her

Luffy

Clinging onto you like a koala (a very adorable koala, if I may add).

Always including you in his 'team' whenever you find new places to explore.

Making up random songs about you and randomly singing it out of nowhere.

Complaining whenever you're fussing him about his health but obediently following your instructions to sit / lay down / bend down as you take care of him.

Nagging Constantly reminding you to eat, drink, and get enough sleep. Oh the irony.

Discreet kisses on your forehead whenever you pass by each other in the submarine and no one's around.

Letting you nap on Bepo in his place although he wanted to take his nap himself.

Letting you steal his hat and not using his power to steal it back, instead waiting for you to bring it back to him and leaning forward so you can place it back on top of his head.

Sharing his coffee whenever he brews one from himself.

Naturally moving closer to you whenever he notices you visibly getting anxious or uncomfortable.

Allowing you to link your index finger to his pinky whenever you're in public.

Kid

Wolf-whistling whenever you walk by him on the deck.

Decking the new recruits right on their face and throwing them overboard when they copied the same gesture.

Never failing to sit still on his bed while listening to your voice as you're applying sunscreen to his exposed skin in the morning, reminding him for the thousandth time about how he'll get sunburnt out there with how pale he is.

Getting you the same coat as his own (and grinning proudly when you wear it everywhere).

Tucking you in bed and kissing you good night whenever you fell asleep waiting for him to finish his work on the ship.

Killer

Making sure you're out of harm's way first when Kid starts rampaging.

Patting your head lovingly in the morning and bumping your foreheads together. It's his version of a morning kiss.

Brewing your favorite type of coffee/tea so it'll be ready when you wake up.

Remembering every small details he's heard from you before and using it when he has to (yes, you like blue but not that blue).

Hugging you close while you cry and silently nods to show that he's listening as you vent to him about your problems.

Tag teaming with you to tackle his first mate duties, including but not limited to: making sure the crew members aren't killing each other, keeping the ship (mostly) functional, checking in with everyone to ensure they're doing their jobs right for the week, and of course, saving Kid before he gets into too much trouble.

"Did you check on Heat and Wire? They were at each other's throats two days ago."

"Yeah, they're fine now. I asked them to settle their petty fight."

"..... You forced them to shake hands and hug, didn't you?"

"Well, if it works, it works, right?!"

Sharing his premium shampoo and conditioner with you.

Taking extra care with your bed and with washing your laundry whenever he's on cleaning duty.

Shanks

Always holding your hand when you're nearby.

Meeting your eyes across the deck and throwing a wink or blowing a kiss into your direction.

Twirling you round and round and round until you're dizzy and have to lean onto him for support on every banquets where he asks you for a dance (read: every parties).

Humming and gently tapping his fingers against your waist on sleepless nights. Might as well enjoy the moment if you can't sleep, right?

Always running to you for help when Benn is being 'mean' to him.

"[naaaaame], Grumpy is scolding me agaiiiiin!"

"[name], this is why I keep saying you spoil him too much."

Teasing you. Constantly. 24/7. I'm sorry dear, that's just part of the package.

Collecting photos and articles of you to hang them up on his room's walls (some old articles about Roger and Luffy's latest poster are pinned up too, but you have your own section).

Leaving you alone, no questions asked, when he senses that you need some alone time to yourself, and welcoming you back with a big smile when you jump back into his arm.

Hi! I've just read the your post about the reaction of the Warlords for your One Piece Mermaid AU... I get interested with the part in Moria... how would Luffy's crew and Brother take in on Luffy being a collection or bride? Thanks! P.S. I love your cats! They're so cuteeeee!!

Ok! So on Moria and Thriller Bark.

To be honest, this is another arc that I haven’t thought too much about, so lemme just write some thoughts out and see where this goes!:

-Moria is still interested in Luffy for her Power. He is admittedly too chicken to go after Ace, Sabo, or Thatch, who from reputation he assumes are stronger than Luffy. But Luffy sounds like just the right amount of raw power potential and gullible innocence that she’ll do nicely for his purposes. The fact that she’s a cute mermaid, well, that’s interesting, but Moria himself doesn’t care all that much. Stranger creatures have been pirates.

-That being said, Absalom immediately “falls in love” with Luffy for her appearance, claiming that she’s his ideal bride. She’s part fish, he’s part a lot of animals, they’re meant to be!!!! And, well, Moria is wary about having the owner of his recently captured Luffy Shadow remain on Thriller Bark, but Absalom insists he’ll keep a watch on her so Moria lets his subordinate have her.

-So when the ASL Pirates find Zoro and Sanji’s bodies back on the Thousand Sunny, Luffy’s body is conspicuously missing. They split up to find the shadows, Ace and Sabo going for Moria directly.

-While no longer the target of Absalom’s affections, Nami still befriends Lola, who tells her that there’s a pissed off mermaid dressed in a wedding dress with seastone jewelry, half submerged in a tank at the church. Luffy’s mad and is yelling as much as she can, but the water and seastone are preventing her from doing much else.

-Had Ace and Sabo heard, they would have no doubt flipped their shit and ditched attacking Moria to go rescue Luffy, but it was Sanji and Thatch who heard from Nami instead. Let’s just say, the two Love Cooks go INSANE.

-Thatch is, generally speaking, very good at not taking over too many fights, and giving the baby pirates room to try their hardest on their own so they can grow. He’ll step in as backup if they need help, but he very much considers himself a mentor, aware of the vast difference in experience between himself and most of the rest of the crew. And despite their constant Luffy Proposal Battles, he's especially close to Sanji due to their shared time in the kitchen, and low-key considers the younger chef his pseudo protege.

-That being said, their darling Luffy about to be forcefully married and wearing a wedding gown is something that gives even Thatch a few serious cracks in his control. And when Sanji throws his whole, I WANTED TO BE A TRANSPARENT MAN, tantrum, Thatch just sorta sighs and says, “You’re very, VERY lucky it’s me with you and not one of the brother complex older bros, because I’m sure they’d love to hear what you want to do with that damn fruit.”

-Thatch then grudgingly tosses Sanji at Luffy to help her out of the water and seastone, because he’s unfortunately a devil fruit user too. Then, Thatch turns his attention on Absalom.

-At this point in the story, I feel like Thatch’s slowly awakening to the darker parts of his devil fruit’s powers, in the sense that sometimes, he feels it creeping into his personality. Usually, he’s a genuinely nice, friendly, light-hearted guy--but sometimes he has these urges to go completely sadistic, that he’s concerned may be a result of his devil fruit. He usually has a strong grip and doesn’t let it hurt his crew mates, but his control weakens when he’s pissed.

-And, well. Let’s just say that the fight with Absalom is VERY short, when Darkness suddenly fills the church and Absalom finds himself being sucked towards Thatch, his invisibility no longer working for some reason. Absalom stares at Thatch, who’s suddenly unrecognizable from the man who was standing there only moments before, and thinks he’s looking into hell...he loses consciousness just as Luffy calls out and snaps Thatch out of doing greater damage.

-Sanji’s Beautiful Bride Luffy In My Arms moment is cut short when Luffy gains back enough strength to yell Thatch’s name, but his annoyance halts in its tracks when he realizes Thatch looks sorta Off, and there’s a strange, blank look in his eyes that he’s only seen glimpses of before. Luffy seems to sense it too, and struggles weakly in his arms, demanding that Sanji take her to Thatch. There’s still coils of Darkness rolling off of the older man, as though it’s searching for another victim, and Sanji’s very reluctant to let Luffy go to him. But even at her weakest, Luffy’s still Sanji’s captain, and he also trusts that the man he’s come to see as his mentor (not that he’ll admit it) would never hurt Luffy.

-Thatch slowly comes back to himself when he realizes that Luffy’s wrapped around him, calling his name, running her fingers through his loose hair while peering into his face from way too close (but not close enough). Luffy, in a soaked, ripped wedding dress that’s clinging to her skin and honestly not hiding much. Sanji has the gall to snort and look unimpressed as Thatch starts going cherry red, as though he hadn’t had the same reaction just a few minutes earlier.

-Luffy is beaming because Her Thatch is back again, Sanji is stepping forward again bc okay Thatch had enough Bride Luffy time it’s Sanji’s turn again now, and Thatch chooses the absolute worst moment to blurt, “PLEASE MARRY ME!”--

--because Sabo chooses that moment to walk into the church.

• I think that you and Sanji would give a great pair.

• There are a lot of traits of you that resemble that of Sanji in my opinion. And exactly this was the reason why Sanji started to spend more time with you and get to know you more than Nami or Robin.

• Whenever Luffy screams from the top of his lungs "SANJI! FOOD!!" you scream back from wherever you are right now "Gimme a minute and I'll get you something!", before Sanji can react to the food loving man.

• Sanji loves it when you join him cooking because you two seem to be able to work together without having to communicate. But even if Sanji would like to talk to the beauty that was next to him he wouldn't dare saying a word because as much as he loved talking to you he loved listening to you sing while you prepared anything you were on at the moment. Sometimes he would just stop in his tracks and just watch you dance around the kitchen whenever one of your favourite songs starts to play in the radio. He would watch every of your moves and smile like a idiot.

• After some time passing Sanji manned up and asked you out in the most romantic way. Sanji prepared a picnic with some snacks under that one tree with the wing (I hope you know what I mean 😂). Everything was set. You were in the girls cabin reading a novel when you heard a light knock. You didn't look up and just told whoever was there to come in but the person simply knocked another time what made you stand up with a scuff. You were ready to scold anyone that was there for ruining your peaceful reading session but there was no one except of a huge bouquet of red roses. It had a little note in it saying that someone is waiting for you down on deck. With a huge smile on your lips you stepped out of your room just ro realise that the way down to the deck was decorated by flower pedals. The sight in front of you made your heart race. You didn't wanted the feeling that grew with every second in you to stop. But you made it down and was greeted by the blond man you were always fond of. He took your hand in his and lead you to the swing and made you sit down.

• He took both of your hands in his and looked you in the eyes while giving the most sweetest confession ever made. And of course you said yes and wanted to date him

• dating him was the best thing that happened to you. He was sweet and caring. He spend every free second with you. If you were close to him he would always grab your hand and intertwine them. Sometimes he would appear out of nowhere and give you a kiss and compliment a different part of your body just to leave you dumbfounded and confused with a racing heart.

• There was this island the straw hats docked on and to their luck there was a festival planned for the night of the day they came. So Nami and Robin took you shopping and made Sanji go have fun on his own. Unlike these two you wanted something fancy that wasn't a dress but they still brought a few for you to put you in later on. And they managed to get you in a short sleeveless pretty blue-black dress. They did your make-up and theirs and ran out when Franky yelled that the fireworks were about to get blown what was the sign for the beginning of the festival. But you didn't came out because you felt uncomfortable in your current state.

• Sanji sensed that something was wrong and made his way to you only to find you standing in front of the mirror and looking at yourself with a tilted head and slight pout. Sanjis eyes widen at the sight of you. Because of 1. He couldn't believe how good that dress locked on you 2. He was shocked because he knew that you didn't like the way you looked.

• "How dare you!? How dare you not love this beautiful sight?! Baby! Darling! Love! Please don't. You look stunning. Simply gorgeous now please allow me to take you to the festival and brag with the fact that I can call the most beautiful woman mine."

• As you can see Sanji doesn't, can't and won't tolerate you being insecure so he took it upon himself to push your ego and make you love yourself as much as he loves and adores you.

• On the festival Sanji would never let go of you. He would constantly have you close to him so he could protect you no matter what happens. He makes sure to once in a while ask you if you're alright or if you want to go back to the sunny since he knew that you're not a fan of crowed places.

• Sanji left you alone for a few minutes but sat you down on a less crowded and also quieter place to get some drinks. You were happily looking at the ocean when a guy approached you and started a conversation with you. You were clear not liking it but still tried to talk nicely. But the guy seemed to understand your friendliness in a different way and got closer. You told him to keep a distance but he laughed it away and simply acted as if you said nothing. You felt uncomfortable and suffocated so you were about to stand up when Sanji came and kicked him out of the chair with a sweet smile upon his lips saying "Thank you for keeping my seat warm but now move your pathetic stupid ass away and leave me alone with my girl."

• When the guy left he took you in his arms and apologised while sitting you down on his lap while asking you probably a bunch of times of you're doing good or if he hurt you.

Bonus:

• While Sanji confessed his love to you Zoro was in the crows nest watching you two with a disgusted and confused look while silently praying for you to reject him but sadly you didn't. In fact you even kissed him. "TF is that stupid woman doing?!"

Birthday Cake — Zoro x Reader

Summary: Modern!AU in which Zoro teaches kendo, and you own a small coffee place. The both of you living a quiet life in your small apartment. Zoro’s birthday is approaching and you plan a surprise for him.

A/N: I wrote this at the speed of light, I’m actually surprised. The power of motivation! This is unrequested fluffvember, and I used a prompt for a Modern!AU I’ve been wanting to use for a long time but never really thought on what to write about, I just had the details. Might as well add into this story later on.

As part of his everyday life, after his last kendo class, Zoro helped clean the dojo before leaving back to his home.

The sun was setting behind the horizon, as Zoro walked calmly with his backpack on his shoulder. Enjoying the noisy quietness of the city.

On the other hand, you were still working at the small coffee place you owned. A few people quietly talking to one another, and in another table, a single girl just reading. It was a small, yet, very cozy place. With the big advantage that you lived on the second floor of the same building.

Zoro walked inside and the first thing he did was reach the Bar where you were preparing coffee. He walked towards you kissing your forehead.

“I can see you’re still busy” he said. “Need help?"

"No, thank you, love” You answered. “That table is almost over, and I’m pretty sure that girl is almost over with her book” you exchanged stares with your boyfriend as he nodded. “Want something for dinner?"

"I’ll cook it myself, don’t worry"

"Will you ever let me spoil you for once?"

"Not today darling” Zoro laughed walking inside the small kitchen at the back and saying hi to the couple of cooks working there.

After the coffee place was closed, and having already cleaned, Zoro and you went upstairs to the small apartment you lived in.

You wouldn’t call yourselves minimalist, but you didn’t really have much.

Mostly because neither of you really needed much. A pretty basic kitchen set up. Just a couple of couches and a coffee table. A dog bed by the corner. The extra room, it had Zoro’s swords, and dumbells. And that was pretty much everything you owned.

The main room just had the mattress on the floor, a few piles of books stacked, lots of plants next to the picture window.

After a warm welcome from your Akita, Zoro took it for a night run while you stayed home. And after a much needed shower, while Zoro was still away, you texted your friends, organizing them for tomorrow’s surprise cake for Zoro’s birthday.

Fortunately, you finished setting everything up with your friends by the time Zoro and Samurai returned.

“We’re back” Zoro said walking inside the bedroom, kneeling on the bed to steal a kiss from your lips before you gently pushed him back.

“Babe, I love you a lot, but you’re sweaty and I just changed the sheets, go take a shower, please?"

"Jesus fucking Christ, I’m trying to kiss my girlfriend and she’s bossing me around” he joked. “Fine, I’ll go take a shower”

You giggled and winked at him before lying on the bed, as the dog snuggled next to you. You rolled on your side, spooning the mutt as Samurai licked your forehead gently before snuggling his face close to yours.

“I love you too, Sammy” you replied to your dog’s licks.

“Man’s best friend, my ass. Samurai just stole my girl” Zoro said walking back inside the room.

You looked up, looking at your boyfriend approaching the bed with just his towel wrapped around his hips.

“Can you blame him? He’s the cutest dog ever” you joked back rolling on your back as Zoro crawled on top of you.

“But you’re mine” He purred, kissing you as you playfully ran our hands through his wet hair and wrapped your legs around his hips.

“I mean, true” you giggled between kisses.

As Zoro squeezed himself between you and the Akira, Samurai understood the message and got up from the bed and tried to find another comfortable spot on the bed before giving up and leaving the bedroom.

Zoro kept kissing you, his tender kisses heating up. Giving into him, and the temperature of the room rise, you lost yourself in the blinding passion consuming you.

Lucky for you, Zoro did not wake easily. He didn’t notice the soft vibrating of your phone, announcing a call from Nami.

You, however, didn’t answer the call and instead got up, grabbed a thin bathrobe and covered your baked body before walking out of the room.

Samurai was well aware that someone was on the other side of the door to the apartment. He was smelling the bottom, wiggling his tail and recognising Luffy’s smell, with whom he loved to play.

Opening the door, the mutt quickly jumped on Luffy, as the boy tried to contain his laugh and petted the dog. The rest of your friends walked inside the apartment silently, Sanji walking inside with a cake he had baked for Zoro, claiming he only did it because Nami asked him to.

Everyone walked silently towards the main room, where you walked in first, kneeling next to Zoro and whispering his name in his ear, trying to wake him up. Nami lit the single candle in the cake.

Reluctantly, Zoro groaned in response a couple of times before he finally opened his eyes. And when he did, first thing he saw was a lit candle before noticing his friends surrounding it.

“Happy birthday, love” you whispered kissing his cheek as Zoro sat on the bed.

“Happy birthday!” His friends cheered all at once.

Nami kneeled close to the bed so Zoro could blow the candle. However, he looked at his friends, not expecting their visits feeling both heart warmed and slightly embarrassed. He smiled gently at his friends before looking down thinking how he didn’t quite like cake but he wasn’t going to say anything about it.

“Don’t forget to make your wish!” Robin said among the small crowd.

“Yeah, that’s dumb. But whatever” Zoro chuckled and blew the candle out. “Can you guys give me a minute…I need to put on some clothes” Zoro said.

As everyone agreed to go to the kitchen, they all left right away. Except for you. You stayed sitting on the bed next to Zoro, looking at him sweetly, and feeling how your heart was about to combust from how much you loved him. Zoro could feel your stare on his, and soon he looked back into your eyes.

“Thank you, [Name]” Zoro purred leaning closer to you, bumping his forehead against yours.

“It’s nothing. Did you like it?” You murmured.

“Are you really asking me that?” You chuckled at Zoro’s question and before you could say anything else, Zoro pecked your lips.

“Come on, let’s go have cake” He said standing up and walking towards the closet looking for pajama pants.

The both of you left the room, and joined everyone else in the kitchen. Laughs and joked filling the air in a warm way. Luffy’s loud giggling as he played with Samurai on the floor. Nami and Ussop arguing while Sanji cut the cake in slices.

“What’s this?” Zoro asked as Sanji handed him a plate with what seemed was a chocolate cake with white whipped cream on top.

“Cake, you dumbass” Sanji answered sarcastically, smirking at Zoro.

“Yeah, I know that, stupid cook…” Zoro growled defensively.

“It’s Chocolate Guinness Cake!” Brook cheered. As he poured just made coffee into a mug.

“What?” Zoro said raising an eyebrow and looking back at his cake.

“It’s made with Guinness stout” Sanji answered “Try it. It’s not as sweet as you think it is. I know you don’t like very sweet stuff”

Zoro glared once more at Sanji before finally digging into his cake with a fork. Despite the brown color, it sure tasted like chocolate, but it wasn’t what Zoro thought. It tasted like chocolate, but it was definitely not sweet.

“Hey” Zoro began “this is actually pretty good”

“Thanks, Marimo” Sanji smiled proudly before Zoro whipped cream on Sanji’s cheek as the blond changed his face “Oi! What’s wrong with you?” He grabbed a napkin and cleaned his face.

“Don’t be such a baby…” Zoro laughed.
