Back from the dead for SAKODAY YEAH YEAH YEAHHHH GOTTA UPHOLD MY PLACE AS THE #2 SAKODA FAN (shushush I'm not late there's still half an hour left of sakoday in my timezone)
So to celebrate I made him a fake 6th anni card!! If liber won't make Sakoda cards I will!!!
The patterns and swirly designs were suffering jsgdhdh I'm not built for patterns! Or thin lineart! I like my loose and scribbly! But Sakoda is worth it
I have no idea what the 6th anni play story is but the vague idea is that Sakoda would be working under the princes of Quator and Ichiro would play the B side
Also something very specific I noticed about the 6th anni cards after starting at then for hours as reference is that guys who are playing the A side of the characters hold their invitations with the sealed side facing us while the B side characters show the front side with their names on it, idk what to do with this information
ANYWAY HABIBA SAKODA I LOVE I U AND HOPE THAT BY YOUR NEXT BIRTHDAY LIBER WILL FINALLY GIVE YOU A CHARACTER SONG

A3! Event Story Translation “Ah, My Dearly Beloved” [ Chapter 4 ]
Azami heads back to his parents' home to learn new information and an update on the performance Syu passed on to us.
Azami
…
Kumon
Aaazami! What’s the haps?
Azami
…I’m reading this book for an assignment.
Kumon
Oh yeah, that’s “The Tale of Genji”, right?
I wouldn’t know too much about it since I didn’t do it in class, but is it that difficult? You don’t look too happy.
Azami
It got easier to decipher once Itaru-san taught it to me. But… the content of it… it’s…
Kumon
Now that you mention it, it IS riddled with love stories.
Azami, you know what they say, there’s a first-time for everybody~.
Azami
Shut up, you decide to act like my senior now?
*Azami lightly punches Kumon*
Kumon
Ahaha, owie!
Ah, there’s also this ramen place I wanna head to after school.
Azami
I’ll have to put in a rain check for today.
Kumon
You got somewhere to be?
Azami
…I’m off to my parents’ place for a bit.
Azami
Talk about a feast. Can I really eat all this…?
Sakyo
You don’t come home that often, so Sakoda poured his heart out into preparing these for you.
Azami
Still, that’s a ton of food.
Sakyo
I told him to ask the boss about it, cause he was so shocked that you’d come back home so openly.
Azami
…Shut it. I dunno why, but I just can’t stop thinking about it.
Chairman
What are you two muttering about over there?
Azami
Ahh… dad, I wanted to ask you something.
Do you know about a ryokan called “Sayuru Pavilion”?
Chairman
“Sayuru Pavilion”... That name takes me way back.
Azami
So you know?
Chairman
Of course I know. That’s where Sayuri used to work.
Azami
Mom worked there…?
Chairman
Not just that, that’s the place where we first met and where I proposed to her.
Azami
Seriously…?
Chairman
Uh-huh. I fell in love at first sight with her and went in for the kill as soon as I could.
Although, Sayuri’s relatives were particularly opposed to us, we eventually got together.
Azami
Huh…
Chairman
Now, why’d you suddenly ask me about that place?
Azami
I just came across some photos of it and thought it looked familiar.
So I was wondering if I went there when I was little.
Chairman
No… I don’t think so…?
Azami
(Then, why do I have a sense of deja vu from that place? Am I just imagining things?)
Sakyo
Speaking of, boss, do you know about the night parties they hold once a year?
Chairman
…Yeah, well.
Azami
?
Sakoda
Here you are! Extra dishes just for you!
Sakyo
Oi, no one told you this was gonna be a banquet. Cut back on the portions.
Azami
… *sighs*
(I came all the way here and I only ended up with more questions than answers.)
Azami
Back.
(I’m tired. I’ll get my mind off my assignment for a bit and think about make-up instead.)
Izumi
Azami-kun, Sakyo-san, welcome home, you made it just in time!
Could I ask you two to come to the lounge?
Sakyo
What’s the situation?
Izumi
I received the plot of the script from Syu-san, so I wanted to discuss the casting.
Sakyo
Huh… The title… “The Tale of Genji”?
Tsuzuru
It’s just a tentative title.
Azami
…!
Izumi
The main character, Hikaru Genji, meets mysterious men in his dreams and reflects on his life.
It’s a fantasy based on the original “The Tale of Genji.”
Azuma
That kind of theme would fit such a beautiful stage.
Yuki
This means that the costumes would be from the Heian period.
Izumi
It also came with a note from Syu-san.
Note
“The lead may be a minor, but if you, who are inexperienced in female roles, give them a half-assed performance, the audience can definitely tell.”
“So I turned it into a wholesome one without women in it. I literally set this up for you, so work hard and don’t mess it up.”
Azami
Wholesome…
Sakyo
The question is, who’ll play the lead role?
Izumi
It all narrows down to “a teenage boy”, it’s pretty limited even if we consider the entire theater company.
Azuma
The candidates would be… Masumi, Tenma, Yuki, Muku, Kumon, Puppy-kun, and—.
Azami
Yeah. …I’ll do it.

A3! Backstage Story Translation - Sakyo Furuichi SR: Secret Return Gift Talk - Part 1
i really wanted to share this story after seeing sakyo's white day homepage line!
Sakoda: Good work today too, Aniki!
Sakyo: Yeah.
Sakoda: I’ll be goin’, then. … Oh, by the way, Aniki, have you already prepared it?
Sakyo: What’s it?
Sakoda: Your return gift for White Day! Big Sis gave you chocolate this year too, didn’t she?
Sakyo: Why did you make that so difficult to understand... No, I haven’t prepared it.
Sakoda: I see!
Sakoda: If need be, I can look into what Big Sis likes!
Sakyo: No, don’t do anything unnecessary.
Sakoda: Alright! Sorry for pushin’!
Sakyo: (Sakoda’s as meddlesome as always… But he’s right, I need to start preparing.)
Sakyo: (I’ll try going to the fair later to find a return gift.)
-
Sakyo: (There’s always so many people here. It may be evening, but it’s so crowded.)
Sakyo: … Well then, let’s see what we’ve got here.
Sakyo: (The Director was happy when I gave her those roll cakes last time, but getting the same thing’s no good.)
Sakyo: (For now, I’ll just take a look…)
Homare: This mellow aroma… Is this black tea not made only with dried fruits but also hibiscus?
Clerk A: Y-Yes, you’re right. It’s impressive that you can tell just by smelling it!
Homare: That’s because I’m quite fond of tea.
Sakyo: (I didn’t think I’d find Arisugawa here… Is he also looking for a return gift?)
Sakyo: (Giving the same thing would be a waste… Guess I got no choice but to look for something else.)
Clerk B: What about a cheese cookie? It’s not that sweet, so it also goes well with alcohol!
Sakyo: (A cookie that can be used as a side snack with alcohol? The Director’s quite the drinker, so this might be a good idea…)
Sakyo: (Ugh, that’s…)
Tsuzuru: A cheese cookie… Would someone who’s not good with sweets enjoy this kinda cookie?
Clerk B: Yes, of course! Would you like to try a sample?
Sakyo: (Even Minagi’s here… Why’re the guys from our company in a place as far as this is?)
Sakyo: (Looks like today’s gonna be a bust… I’ll just head home.)
-
Izumi: Welcome back, Sakyo-san!
Sakyo: I’m home. What’s up, you seem perky today.
Izumi: Ahaha, you can tell? I’m happy because the curry I made was pretty good.
Sakyo: Huh, ain’t that nice.
Izumi: Yep! But you look a little tired, Sakyo-san.
Sakyo: (... It must show on my face.)
Sakyo: Nah, must be your imagination. Though I am a little hungry.
-
Choice 1: Really?
Izumi: Really?
Sakyo: Really. Don’t make a big deal out of it.
Izumi: Okay, but please don’t push yourself too hard.
Sakyo: Yeah, thanks. Anyway, this strange smell… Is that today’s curry?
Izumi: Yep. I’m sure if you eat it, you’ll be shocked, Sakyo-san!
Sakyo: Is it some unusual kind of curry?
Izumi: Heh, heh, that’s something for you to eat and find out. I’ll go fix you a plate!
-
Choice 2: Do you want to eat curry?
Izumi: Do you want some curry, then?
Sakyo: Yeah, if you could prepare some right now. So, what kind of curry did you make today?
Izumi: Sri Lankan chicken curry. It’s made with tomatoes and coconut milk!
Sakyo: Sounds promising.
-
Sakyo: (I feel like my fatigue disappeared as I was talking with her. I’ve got to take finding a return gift seriously.)
