discovered a much more efficient way to do my lesson plans im so happy now >:3!

#it still takes sooo lonngggg ugh #but i now have 3 days fully scheduled ouy #*out #each day is 9 hours with 1 hour of eating time and 1 hour of recess #so 7 full hours of plans #and i am not trained in this. so it’s fuckin HARD. but it’s fun and i am learn how to do it #i am trying to put in sooo many activities and stuff cuz i know these kids cant sit still and listen for more than 10 minutes lol #but i’m supposed to be teaching them too. so i am doing like 20 mins of Listening and Talking #then 15 minutes break (a video or dance game or smth) then another 20 listening and talking #it’s supposed to be less academic than a school day but still teaching them things so im trying to hit a middle ground #the first week i’m planning is all about space so far the days are themed around #dangerous (cool) stuff in space -> space exploration (historical vs modern n then they talk about what they want to explore in space) #-> stars and constellations and their stories -> planets (and they design their own planets then we make a classroom solar system) #and then friday i am trying to get them a field trip to a planetarium or to the sand dunes to look at the stars over night #they also have 2 library trips per week which are kinda cool but take up a lot of time rip. it’s okay i am planning around them #& technically they aren’t allowed on the library computers but i’m trying to set it up so they can do research on them and get some computer #practice too. cuz there is not one single class in this school that teaches them computer literacy &/& bad

Taking Care of Chronic Littles! Hospital Advice :)

~ in recent events, we've realized that there isn't as much support or advice for littles who are usually always in doctors or always sick, so we want to change that!

(making a second version for if u dont have a caregiver, but u can also follow this advice for yourself!)

Remember to be patient with your littles!!

- being in a hospital or even a simple doctors appointment is so so so scary. letting them know that you're there and being patient with them can help a whole lot more than you think.

Asking your little what would help

- sometimes we all want to be heroes and fuss over little things, trying to help every chance we get

- however, asking what could help your little most and what would be comfortable can go a whole much smoother than trying to fuss and being too overbearing.

Being encouraging about med taking

- i know when im little, i hate taking medicine. it can be so scary and yucky! especially if it's pills.

- just being patient and trying to make it more enjoyable for your little can help!

- some examples:

- making it a game

~ try to make it fun for your littles, as fun as you can!

- offering treats afterwards

~ a small treat will go a lonngggg way :3

Trying to find good coping mechanisms

- finding a good coping mechanism for both you and your little is essential for anything

- sometimes being in a hospital can make your little panic, and panicking while already feeling icky is terrible! having these coping mechanisms will help both of you stay calm and assess what you need to do

Making sure to take it easy

- taking it easy after something big like this is a MUST. you don't want to end up in the loop again so soon!

- maybe stick to just cuddling, reading, watching movies, etc.

- making sure to listen to what is comfortable for their body and what is not, their usual little clothes might feel too tight or icky when feeling sick

Reassure your little

- needing all this help can feel really selfish at times, reassurance can be a big thing

- reassure your little that this is not their fault and that it will be alright

- and making sure to reassure littles that they will get better helps too, because with all the chaos and icky feelings, sometimes we just need a reminder that this is just a small hiccup and that it'll pass

What are some of your favorite fanfiction tropes?

I started reading fics for a new fandom and I realised how underrepresented classic fic tropes like magical soulmarks and hanahaki disease are in the Ghost fandom. I love a good magic soulmark fanfic, especially if there's some sort of twist to it.

Oh man this is such a good question. You're right, there really aren't a lot of fan-fic tropes in the Ghost fandom. I don't know why. We should fix that. I enjoy a soulmark fic from time to time. I also (for some reason) really love sex pollen. Which I think could be done really well in the Ghost fandom but I never see it. (Heats/ruts are simliar but not the same, you know). I am also a big sucker for a lonngggg slow burn enemies to reluctant partners in their "mission" to lovers. That dynamic is just so good. And man, hanahaki, I love it so much but it hurts my heart in the WORST WAY.

5. estimate how much art you post online vs. keep to yourself

honestly theres only 1-2 things a month that don’t at least get posted in the server! i don’t tend to draw for myself. most wips aren’t posted to my socials necessarily, but i still send them to friends and in the wips channel of my discord lol

7. a medium of art you don’t work in, but appreciate

all of them tbh, but particularly normal traditional drawing! i have textural issues that make drawing on paper really uncomfortable, but a nice pencil sketch always looks gorgeous and i miss being able to do it. music making, pottery, sewing and carving are others that i can think of off the top of my head that i wouldn’t do myself but love watching!

11. do you listen to anything while drawing? if so, what?

lonngggg youtube videos that don’t require much attention! i can 100% follow a described narrative and can usually focus better when drawing, but a sorry boys video would obviously require my full attention. vods are kinda in between. i tend to gravitate to interesting, niche video essays most of the time though! nuclear reactors, plane crashes, chemical tier lists and jacob geller stuff generally, but a good commentary essay or dissection of old internet dramas or communities can never go wrong.

21. art styles nothing like your own, but that you like anyways.

i love disney style furries, and most more cartoony or exaggerated warrior cat style artworks! i try to go more of a lineart-heavy, detailed and slightly more realistic style for my own work (though my fanart tends to be more bright and happy than i intend) but i can still appreciate the nostalgia and appeal in cartoony or aesthetic cat designs, or zootopia critters.

24. do your references include stock images?

uhhh whenever i use references i tend to just google body part/animal/expression, stare at it for a bit, and then work from memory back on my canvas. i guess that’s mostly stock images?

30. what piece of yours do you think is underrated?

bold of you to assume i remember my works. but i think an old cranboo piece i did! love it a lot. enderwalk (ill attach it here) i need to paint more again LMFAO

not yet, but i'm going through a LONNGGGG list of games right now in my "Penny Learns to Like JRPGs" era. i'm trying out Trails of Cold Steel rn, and Tales of Arise is high up on my list of ones I want to give a shot in the near future BUT i've actually been really craving turn-based combat lately so i'm a little more focused in on games that do that.

So she enrolled herself in the military at the ripe age of 18. Being forced to learn fluent English and move around bases , then being moved to SPECIAL OPS after Her arm got mangled and scarred from her get caught in a cross fire of a bomb , now causing her to cover her arm most of the time , not wanting people to gross out at her mangled mess of an arm. She also has scars on her back from a past relationship. She mostly worked in Southern country’s , Latin America , that’s where she was best at. She put most of her anger into her work and or just working out, causing her to have a more masculine physique then most women. Not to say she didn’t enjoy it though!! She has a handful of tattoos across her body. She is very sarcastic and bold on the outside but there is a warmer side to her , she’s not as mean as everyone has made her out to be. She just has a really bad RBF.. ALSO her nickname is morgue… ᕕ( ᐕ )ᕗ I’ll let you guess why ‼️‼️ Shes honesty pretty good at hand eye coordination too??? But sense she never really had a lot of time in school due to skipping or like getting suspended pookie isn’t always the smartest.. she’s trying her best!!!
