Oh yeah, so that one time I was innocently thinking of a situation where Peter & Wanda switched powers and he'd need help figuring out how to properly do magic, because I assume that the finger acrobatics are spell-specific. Seriously, I didn't intend to do my Bohner-joke thing, but when I looked up the English term for what I called "finger acrobatics" here, the dictionary smirked at me with "fingering".

Anyway, Peter picks it up quickly, as he's good at fingering. Because he plays guitar, you pervs!

Month #1 of SGG is officially wrapped! Thanks to everyone who answered the prompts from last month; it was so cool seeing what people made! And speaking of prompts…

There’s no bingo card this time, but here’s the prompts for the month of July!

Finish (and post) a WIP

Assume there were missing episodes during the time Peter was in WandaVision - what happened in those?

the X-Men have a challenge to not use their powers for mundane stuff for a week; how does Peter cope?

Pick a song that reminds you of Peter; describe (or edit/animate) a scene with him that uses the song like a music video.

You've been chosen to write an X-Men movie, but the evil studio people need you to incapacitate Quicksilver at some point. How do you do it?

Create a playlist for Peter (either list the songs or link the playlist)

Write/draw something about Peter’s life before DOFP.

Plot twist! Peter hates junk food, he just eats it because it’s good for energy and doesn’t need to be prepared.

Something about, but not with, Peter. (example: people in his universe missing him and thinking about what might have happened to him)

Fine, I'll be evil to my boy. Just this once. Because you asked.

For @silver-goggles-guild's You've been chosen to write an X-Men movie, but the evil studio people need you to incapacitate Quicksilver at some point. How do you do it?

(Content warning for symtoms, I guess!) Quicksilver poisoning, because that would be hilarious.

Not sure about the delivery method. Fumes sound easy, but it seems too imprecise (Would he inhale enough? Would others get exposed as well?) and I guess wouldn't last long enough (seeing how fast he'd be able to recover), unless he kept getting dosed. The easiest way would probably be to hide it in food, because Peter eats all the time. Of course the mercury would be coated in something with varying thickness, so it would be released gradually, thus work longer.

I assume it would slow him down to normal-people speed (at least that's what "slowed sensory and motor nerve conduction velocities" sounds like it would translate to in a speedster) and other desired symptoms are: Lack of coordination, slurred speech, deterioration of fine motor skills, difficulty walking, numbness in the hands and feet, loss of peripheral vision, muscle weakness, memory impairment, anxiety, emotional lability, performance deficits in tests of cognitive function. Some detailed whump of Peter suffering from these symptoms, trying the save himself (would be so difficult with these symptoms), and then someone (preferably the Dadneto) helping him recover (because of course he'd fully recover - I'm only half evil!) would be sooo interesting to read.

Speaking of that guy: Mercury isn't very magnetic, so Magneto wouldn't be able to do anything. I'd isolate Peter anyway, so he can't call anyone else for help.

Once it's to late to barf the poison out, I'd have the villain gloat about Peter not being able to handle the stuff with which he shares a name, kinda like the Kryptonian can't handle Kryptonite, muahahaha! Though I'd also have them apologize, tell Peter that it's nothing personal, he'll get better, but for now he's just really in the way of villain's plans.

Muse - Ghosts makes me think of Peter grieving Wanda:

Peter sitting on his bed in the darkened room that they used to share, staring at the floor, wallowing.

His mom, Lorna and others are constantly bringing up Wanda, which Peter doesn't handle well (as his way of dealing with it is different from theirs), but he manages to keep it together in front of them. Back in the darkened room Peter looks around at trophies he's won with Wanda, things they've crafted, souvenirs of their exploits, photos of their mundane adventures. The room is getting darker, the surroundings are swallowed by blackness and there he sees Wanda, transparent and out of reach.

If I could bring you back There are truths and confessions I'd tell you I'd set things straight And I believe that you would love and forgive me I know it's too late I need to let go

Peter imagining confessing all the stupid things he did, including seeking contact with their mutant supremacist of a father and nearly getting killed as a result. Imaginary Wanda gives a little, non-judgemental smile and reaches out to hold his cheek.

For @silver-goggles-guild's prompt "Finish (and post) a WIP"

Feels kinda like cheating to finish one of my /newest/ WIPs for this. I wanted to use my original Super Maximoff Bro sprites, so here are some runners (I do have a plan for a gif with an actual background, but that will take longer, so I chose to make the easier gifs first). The ones with the trail have a white background, while the trailless ones are backgroundless.

540x28px and tileable sideways. So fast, you can see him again before he's gone! That is if you put him on a website that's wider than the gif and he's tiled.

A static runner (18 or 28 x 28px):

The following are icon-shaped (128x128px) because when I was making the runners, Tumblr suddenly let us use animated avatars. Although that was reverted, I still think these are worth posting (and who knows, maybe they'll really let us have animated avas one day).

When displayed at 64x64px, these runners will be in their original pixel size:

Had another idea for an icon-shaped Super Maximoff Bro runner, one that feels so obvious that I can't believe I didn't think of it right away. This one's too annoying (which is kind of in character, so I think making this was warranted) to be posted out in the open. Again the trailless one is backgroundless, while the one with the trail is on white.
