a moment to remember :)

Went to Momentum 2023 last Sunday in Alabang to watch the OPM bands I like perform. It was quite a line up but we only went around 6pm to avoid the extreme heat that day. Noting that that is also when the bands I like will play.

Performances by Unique Salonga, Rocksteddy, The Juans, December Avenue, Kamikazee, and Ben&Ben were my most awaited out of the line up. Obviously, I made sure I'll be able to watch because of Kamikazee. And they did not disappoint as always.

Went with Cha for his first music festival but we bumped into Lour and Neal at the venue. Glad I brought a mat with me for us to sit on during performance breaks because it saved our legs and feet somehow from having to stand from 6pm to almost 1am.

It was truly a moment to remember since this was the first music fest I've been on after the pandemic eased out and Kamikazee was there to play after being on a break for quite some time. I'm just happy to be able to jump along and sing my heart out with them live.x

What a way to start 2023!!

I'm really happy that I got to start the year with my whole fam. It is actually a rare thing for us to spend new year's eve together.

Many people rant about January feels so long but I had a blast on that long month. :)

When I came back to Pampanga, I feel down kasi ang lala ng sepanx ko. I want to go back home and spend more time with my family. Whole week akong sad then Saturday came. January 7, my most awaited Reese's homecoming concert. I'm so happy to see her and watched her perform live. Bonus na lang na naalala nya ang name ko at nag-hug kami. I don't know how many times I said it but Reese is one of those I look up to and save me from the miseries I've been through. She and her music helps me in so many ways.

Big thanks kay Bieny sa pag-ampon sa akin after gig. Hihi. Next day, me and Bieny went to National Museum of Fine Arts. Not a big fan of arts pero I appreciate all the artworks there. Na starstruck ako sa Spolarium! I will definitely go back and check the other museums next time.

The week after that, January 12, I went to Baguio just to watch a Munimuni gig. Grabe, dati inabot ako ng ilang years bago makabalik sa Baguio, ngayon nakakapag-Baguio na ako for a gig. Hahaha. Wow! Happy din me kasi nakapagpa-pic din ako with the whole band. Also, it's Ab's first time to see them kaya I want to make it memorable. Thank you rin kay Ab kasi inampon nya ako.

January 13, I went home again to Sanpy. I saw Rocksteddy perform live again.

January 20, nagfollow back na si ate Shine sa akin sa IG. Huhu

January 21, umuwi ulit ako ng Sanpy kasi umuwi sina mame. Hehe. I just miss her so much. Also, may braces na ako ulit. Not sure if I should be happy or not, haha. Sana this time maging okay na talaga ang teeth ko.

January 22, I dated Laiza kasi birthday pero parang ako pa nilibre nya. Haha.

And our most awaited day come. We've been wanting this to happen for many years at eto tuloy na tuloy na talaga. Our Buscalan Trip! Happy ako na mga kapatid ko kasama ko.

January 27 kami umalis, umaga na ng 28 kami nakarating ng Buscalan. I will always be in awe seeing the beauty of God's work in nature. Majestic. All I think about e sana huwag masira.

I'll chika next time more details about the Buscalan Trip.

All in all, January is a 9/10. Haha dami ko pa rin sad days but this month is wonderful.

Deadma is a 2006 song by Rocksteddy about a guy who really loves a girl but he cannot say it because he is too shy. Unfortunately, the girl ignores him all the time. (”Deadma” is a Filipino slang word that means “ignore.” Depending on the context, it can roughly be translated to “Deadpan.”) It has two versions but I adore 2nd version (on both links) as it has the monologue part which is like a prelude to the confession.

It’s my first time to draw Denki and Kyouka and I super liked how this came out!! I didn’t have much trouble drawing Kyouka, but Denki was super hard for me (mainly because I have a hard time drawing males). This is one of the few “fun” OPM songs that I really like. Most OPM songs I like seem to be a bit too angsty (and I don’t notice at first.)
