Astrology observations #2

This is for fun, they are just my personal observations :)

♦️ Capricorn Venus might be attracted to people with good social status like doctors/lawyers, social success might be a turn-on for them. They value stability and financial success.

♦️Virgo venus is the venus sign most likely to have cosmetic procedures done as they project their perfectionism on their appearance and aesthetic. They want to (and often do) look perfect.

Planets in the 1st house

What does it mean when a planet is in the 1st house?

Planets in the 1st can be like a second ascendant or rising, especially if they’re very close to the ascendant. The closer the planet is, the more prominent it can be. Whichever planet in the 1st house that you have can influence how you see the world, your appearance, the way people see us, and our self-image.

Before I started, I just wanted to let you know that genetics also play a part into physical appearances so not everything said will be accurate about that. And, some of this can also go for your rising sign, not all of it.

Sun in the 1st house:

This placement specifically really needs to learn how to put themselves first. That’s kind of like their goal in life. They really just have to take pride in being themselves. If they can’t stand up for themselves, they have to learn how to however, if they’re too headstrong they have to stop and think before they do anything that they may regret later on. People with this placement have a very strong will and are quite determined. They are usually more positive than negative depending on the whole chart, and can appear very confident to others because that’s just what comes naturally to them which can actually just inspire others to be confident as well. They really do spread their energy around. They are leaders. Even though they appear confident most of the time, they can also have ups and downs with their confidence. On one day, they can feel very full of themselves in terms of confidence and on another day, they might just have the opposite effect. Mood swings are very much present, pretty noticeable/visible ones too. They can be super moody and sensitive. You can see when they’re having like a bad day, the expression is just on their faces. Ignoring emotions is basically impossible for this placement because even if they’re fine most of the time, there is a period where their emotions just keep coming out & they just have to be dealt with or else it won’t be fixed. Pluto in 1st house + Scorpio Rising: Jealousy

So Scorpio rising/Pluto in the first is a really divisive placement to gain perspective on. And of course it is! It’s Pluto after all, and if Pluto is going to do anything it’s going to make a strong polarizing impact. I wanted to share my perspective as a Pluto 1st house and Scorpio rising individual.

The jealousy aspect is very divisive. It can sound conceited to go out in the world with a “they’re just mad because they’re jealous” attitude but I find this is often oversimplifying the experience of Pluto 1st housers/ Scorpio risings.

My experience is colored by my Scorpio rising so this may not apply to everyone with Pluto in the 1st house, but Scorpio for all its allure and strength is still a water sign. Scorpio placement individuals have gone out into the world and been emotionally vulnerable at some point in their lives. Scorpio (and Pluto) is known as mysterious in part because of all the transformations they have gone through and how many identities they’ve appeared to shed throughout their lives.

With gemini in the 8th house I’ve often found myself attracting enemies that would be really duplicitous. People would belittle me to my face then copy my ideas and my actions as if I’d be too naive to see that they’re blatantly ripping me off. I put distance in after my boundaries are crossed and that makes those people even more upset.

I feel like every Scorpio rising/ Pluto in the 1st individual has had an experience of someone growing close to them in order to attempt to take some part of the Asc individual away from them. The other side of jealousy is envy, and envy makes some people feel entitled to what they don’t have but feel like they deserve.

Often this envy/jealousy shows up in mimicry. I think Scorpio rising/Pluto in the 1st people dislike copycats because the lack of authenticity really goes against Pluto’s nature of stirring polarizing but authentic reactions from people.

Personally I’ve had these experiences with peers and family and friends. (Ex. I posted something I created to my story and someone at work literally looked at my story, copied it, and took it to our boss to show off their idea… then they got mad at me when I hid my story from them and they and other coworker called me conceited for it… And that’s just a tame example.)

I’ve also had my fair share of people that have tried to “mentor” me into being completely different so that they can control my ambitions and ability to manifest. Which has only made my perception more fixed/stubborn in how I’ve perceived people coming into my life. I used to second guess my assumptions and try to calm my intuition to be more considerate of what other people are going through, as a water rising but I had to stop. Not stop being considerate, of course, but stop letting in the people I sensed were resentful.

So through experience after negative experience I still stay open and positive with all the folks that enter my life for whatever reason, but I keep everyone except very few people at an arms length and out of my plans until they’ve happened. I don’t assume everyone is jealous of me, I honestly still assume the opposite but I’ve learned through a lot of trials that unfortunately envy does manifest more commonly in people that have been in my life than I had hoped for.

But using my Scorpio rising/Pluto in the first house filter for my experiences has saved me a lot of heartache and improved my life a good deal.

Often it turns out that, aside from tried and true loved ones, strangers tend to be the most benevolent and helpful. People that barely know me have been very kind and often impressed by my tenacity and have wished me the best. I believe that’s because these strangers have entered my life with only our small interactions in mind and haven’t been tempted by what they could gain by being immersed in my life. Whatever that may be. (Also, this isn’t everyone ofc just random good people I’m grateful for)

Deep down I still believe in the good in most people and showing at least kindness at first, even if I’m not wearing my heart on my sleeve and being as open as I once was in my youth. And I’m grateful for those that share sincere kindness in turn.

Pluto conjunct/opposite ascendant - the invincible child

I did an overall pluto-ascendant in obs. 4 and this is a more in depth observation. pluto-ascendant is strongest in conjunctions and oppositions (up to 10°). It directly influences the native's character and life journey. Whatever the ascendant is, the native may appear or act like a scorpio rising but even more visibly especially if they have scorpio placements elsewhere. These aspects give so much inner strength and stamina, depth of character and unique wisdom. Pluto natives possess a lot of power that may be displayed outwardly even if the native is quiet, or if other placements reduce or balance the intensity, people still intuitively sense that there's more to them. But no information will ever feed their curiosity. They’re smarter than they show, darker, more wicked, wealthy, addicts, royals whatever it may be others think there gotta be something hidden.

In reality, it’s the complexity and different traits that the native mastered or will through hard life lessons. The extreme deaths and rebirths of their character, perspective, and appearance. Whatever you see in their intense eyes and presence is interpreted differently. They may hide parts of themselves that others won't comprehend, but because they lack the capacity to do so, their life journey is much different from theirs. Though they themselves can easily understand others, they see right through you, they understand your pain, and share their secret healing formula with you. Pluto won't allow the native to be narrow-minded or comfortable or will cause destruction. No room for escape or pretendence of change. Those people learned and relearned the darker parts of themselves and others, faced their toxic traits, and faced the hidden and broken in the world.

They likely been through many changes in life that inevitably built their wisdom, invincibility, and power. They may gain more power through money, status, control, or any other tangible means. In terms of traits, they are intelligent, calculative, obsessive, instinctual, passionate, cunning, humorous, truthful and loyal. These people have a sort of intimidating magnetic aura that can draw or repel others depending on how healed or familiar they are with this energy.

In the houses

Pluto can be in the 1st, 7th, or 12th house, where natives learn lessons about controlling their conscious and unconscious minds, the thoughts, actions, and memories that they need to let go of and transform to strength, to something of a better value. In the 12th they are dealing with these things alone, feeling trapped and broken, feeling deeply alone. People leaving them in the dark. Their mind isn't letting them have peace, it's uncontrollable. They want to detach from it or possibly throw it off the window, it's a burden. Trapped in a mindset, reflected through their nightmares and fears, their triggers, self image, limitations and doubts. They're discovering the power they have over their subconscious, whatever is controlling them, even the collective consciousness. It shouldn’t hold them back, but fly them to the top. They are leading the way but it's never easy.

In the 1st, they encounter people and places that trigger their shadows and strengths. They have so much resilience and willpower to reach their goals. People see it and want to break them, take their power, and show them a false version of themselves. They may be arrogant and overly protective. In their darkest times they may even feel like they can't tame themselves or actions. It's an aries house so they act immaturely and selfishly but they see it later. As they control their impulses they learn that they don't need to prove anything, to control everything, they are already powerful. They can use it with ease, it's not a fight it's a blessing, no one can take it. They may have trust issues because others have attacked them and betrayed them. They learned to only depend on themselves because everyone seems manipulative. They want and can attract someone as deep, passionate and honest as them who will love them as intensely.

In the 7th the traits they don't see in themselves are reflected to them through others. They are a damn mirror and not a pretty one, one that reflects what others are trying to hide. They seem unbothered, determined and too independent. People are threatened by that so they project their insecurities, some with nasty intentions and weak egos, jealous, and deceitful, wanting to see them fail, trying to gossip, and get a reaction out of them, but they don't. Connections are a nightmare, no one is trustworthy. Others see their power more than they themselves do, hungry to feed off of it. Once they see it and unapologetically fully embrace it, the weak ones can’t reach them and they build better connections with people as confident and genuine. They gain a better perspective, a wisdom to discern who's lying and who's real. A healthy balance of trust and distrust in people. They crave an intense connection like pluto 1st, and they get it but through learning those lessons.

Life has not been too kind to them, many of them have had to harden over time, generating an appearance that exhorts a lot of strength and independence, this appearance eclipses a personality that feels that they have to always be alert, that is afraid to trust others easily or others think you are manipulable, weak or scared. They have learned not to back down in the face of difficulties that may come. Many of these natives are demanding of themselves, not consciously or unconsciously allowing themselves to be vulnerable with anyone. They have a tendency to mistrust other people's intentions and it is very difficult for them to feel that they are close to others or to feel that others know them well. If it's making a hard aspect with Moon, Sun, Chiron or Saturn, they may have grown up with a fear that they feel they cannot leave behind, and in general, they may feel they have a hard time getting over or forgetting/forgiving. These natives are more likely to know you than you ever will. Many of them may fear that other people will take advantage of them and the extreme devotion they can bring to their relationships, so they become selective with whom they open up. It is very likely that some of them have felt left out or judged by others, coming to think that there was a problem with them. They may feel that people have hasty and wrong impressions about them. I hope you are having a star Monday and that you are doing well.

I think 8th house overlays, but honestly 8th house is also veryy self-controlled house, so often the obsessing part is happening "behind the scenes". Like person is not obsessive in front of their person, but more so when they are not around, might check their socials too often, have obsessive daydreams and fantasies about them, going from work early to meet them or even neglect duties and responsibilties just to hang with them.

But then also, 12th house is not "innocent" as well. Even if you have someone's so called nice, benefic planets in your 12th house, like Venus or Moon and this is your friend, it can turn sour as well. And 12th house is also so elusive as well, so it could happen for the most part of social media, any distant media really, even Tiktok.

But also Mars Pluto aspects, Mars Neptune aspect. Mars in the 12th house (especially Mars person here), 12th house might just stalk more through social media or from afar.

Then Moon Pluto is another one, because emotions are one hell of a motivator when it comes to synastry with this one. Your strong feelings work as a motivator to act out obsession.

I want to also say Pluto in someone's 1st house...but hmm, here's also this want of almost not wanting to be seen by the person, so it goes into extremes, wanting to obsess over them, but also not at all.

Then other placements... I think some Nessus overlays can be very addictive, like if this Nessus person falls into your 1st house or even 8th.

To a certain extent even Venus Pluto aspect natives attract obsessive people, but more so or more often these are actually people they very well know, such as partners, friends.

Or even though your career isn't actualy music, art or anything having to do with the internet, those things or people in these areas could make you grow your career or support you in it. 🎬

Pisces MC: This is similare to Neptune conjunct MC, but your career is more likely to be in the stated areas (media, any kind of art). If you have ever gotten into Van Goghs life, you might know that the art he is known for he did in his last years before he died, where his mental health seemed to be very bad. Also, his art got way more recognision after he died. And looking at this placements, it seems like "giving into his delusions" was kind of his life purpose and also going beyond just his life on this earth. I'm not saying you should do that, but maybe taking you mental health struggels and putting them into something productive and makeing the best out of them could be something you're meant to do in this lifetime. Or moving away from focusing too much on having a normal work and a normal routine and trying to focuse on something that goes beyond that, trying to do something with your life that might go beyond just your existence on this earth even though it might not be what is seen as normal could have a lot to do with what you're meant to do in this lifetime. A lot of placements, especialy conjunct, in the 4th quartal (10th, 11th and 12th house): this could make you an icon in every sense of the word, especialy in whatever career you pursue. A lot of placements, especialy conjunct, in the 6th house: This could also make you an icon or famous in your work field, but not just because of talent or because of fame, but because of a lot of hard work and learning/ practicing certain skills every day, like Michael Jackson. Sun signs in general: Because the sun is also in relation to the ego, whatever sign your sun is in might be where you take a lot of pride in or what can make your ego blow up like a balloon. For example: sun in virgo: you take a lot of pride in your organizing skills; sun in libra: you take a lot of pride in you relationships or the artistic thing you do. But at thr same time, this is where your heart and biggest love lies. So please keep this in mind if you look at your 7th house expecting it to read out to you your future lover. Often the peopke who love us the most can turn into our biggest enemies. 👿

Pluto 1st house or conjunct ascendant: This is a very powerful placement, similare to pluto in the 10th house, but way more as to being powerful because of your personality and who you are (and maybe the way you look) as to just in the career field you're in. 🤩

Empty houses: In my experience this means, that in this lifetime, there isn't a specific emphasis on this area of your life or this area of your life is expressed or dealt with through another area (see ruling planet). This is why having a lot of planets spread all over your chart instead of accumulating in just certain houses can be very hard: because it makes all thise areas important in some way and you might have to deal with a lot. But also having all planets accumulate in one house for example can be very hard too, because even though all other areas are not as emphasized, you will already have enough to deal with in that one area of your life. 👀
