The canon gave us absolutely consensual but ill-advised sex after a traumatic event and all some people can do is talk about how it was "actually dubcon"?? (Yeah, "fuck or die" is a trope but "fucking because we nearly died" is something I don't see nearly enough of. )

They don't understand how much of a gift this is and I am Extremely Annoyed. I didn't get into OFMD fandom until after all the S1 episodes dropped, and the lack of nuance and sheer reductiveness some people in it display is a fucking travesty and frankly disrespectful to the show and the work the cast and crew have put into it.

People can enjoy a thing however deeply or shallowly they want. But there's a difference between honestly engaging with the work as it is and making shit up and pretending it's actually canon.

Formerly an average human being, she found herself inexplicably trapped in the world of an early-2000s platformer... as its main antagonist! Sure, the new body took a bit of getting used to (to say nothing of the appetite), and sure, she regularly has spats with the resident protagonist (they're friends off the clock. They go go-karting on weekends!). But it's a pretty good life once she got used to it!
