💥AT LEAST 24 KILLED IN TWO BOMB ATTACKS ON CAMPAIGN OFFICES DURING PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN PAKISTAN💥

At least 24 people were killed in two bomb attacks on Wednesday targeting campaign offices as contentious parliamentary elections are held in Pakistan.

According to reports, at least 24 people were killed and 25 others wounded in the bomb attacks, which targeted a campaign office in Pishin, a district belonging to the Balochistan province, and a second bomb attack targeting the offices of the Islamist party Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) in Qilla Saifullah, also in Balochistan province.

No one has accepted responsibility for the attacks at the time of publishing.

The bombings came amidst contentious parliamentary elections in Pakistan, a country that has long been splintered by separatists belonging to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) which the US has designated a terrorist organization. The group has warned Pakistanis against voting in the elections, calling for a boycott.

Pakistan has been in a state of political crises ever since the duely elected Prime Minister, Imran Khan, was expelled from office by corrupt politicians through Lawfare, and has since been arrested and charged with a long list of crimes, which many in Pakistan see as illegitimate.

I read so many tweets written by Pakistani women and they are saying that they encounter these abusement everyday. They don't feel themselves in secure neither.

bmi and racism

BMI is rooted in racism. the very basis of bmi only accounts for white people. it is supposed to be the "average healthy person" but it only accounts for white individuals. it doesn't account for the height or bone mass of the pakistanis, the height of the black people, it also doesn't account for the natural fat and body mass that is very commonly present in black woman's breasts and curves. im probably missing the characteristics of other races but yall get the point. this also measures east asians as underweight. measuring based off bmi has labeled black individuals as over weight pushing the harmful stereotype of black people being lazy, all the while ignoring the powerful and gorgeous bodies of black individuals in america. so before you beat yourself up over bmi, just remember that its a bunch of bullshit. look in the mirror and focus on your exercise and eating habits instead.

I get why people are talking about the whole submarine titanic thing.

It's awful.

But I'm here to address a different boat related tragedy.

One that absolutely breaks my heart.

Where a boat of migrants sank off the coast of Greece.

This boat had 300 Pakistanis and more than 500 Syrians.

The boat was carrying migrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria and Egypt who were fleeing their countries dire economic conditions.

And we're trying to reach relatives in Europe.

What happened with the submarine is a terrible thing.

I just wish this story got the same coverage.

One is about billionaires the other about people escaping economic disasters.

Both about people losing their lives.

This will be the longest weekend for UAE residents, likely to span over six days from Tuesday, June 27 to Sunday, July 2, depending on the moon sighting. The first long four-day break of the year was marked this month on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

A large number of expatriates and citizens travel to different tourist-friendly countries around the world during long breaks. Among the expat community, Indian and Pakistani nationals account for more than half of the UAE’s population. They are the two largest expat communities, accounting for nearly 36 per cent and 17 per cent of the total population. There are approximately 3.5 million Indians and 1.7 million Pakistanis nationals living and working in the UAE.
