Here are the screenshots of the games I've played since I've been gone. From the top to the bottom, Century: Age of Ashes, Dota Underlords, Neverwinter, Prison Architect, Cities: Skylines, Crayon Physics Deluxe, Eternal Return, One Military Camp. Teamfight Tactics, I wasn't able to capture any screenshots. And Dinkum deserves its own post due to the fact I just took too many screenshots and want to share too many. See above ^^

One Military Camp is committed to Steam Deck
Tumblr media
One Military Camp base building management game is due to be Verified on Linux via Steam Deck with Windows PC. Thanks to further details from developer Abylight Barcelona. Which is gearing up for release on Steam Early Access. Finally, we can share great news: One Military Camp, the long awaited "manage sim" developed by Abylight Barcelona will be releasing March 2nd, in Early Access (at least 6 months). Due to offering players an original experience with the game. So there are plenty of updates and new modes planned for the upcoming months. Plus the developers are also committing to Steam Deck support.
We are including Steam Deck Support at launch, and we hope to be Deck verified also in March.
According to the Abylight Barcelona email reply, they are hoping to be Steam Deck Verified before release. But they are keeping committed to Steam Deck support either way. Plus I can also confirm that Proton support works rather well since One Military Camp is being developed in Unity 3D. So on March 2nd, you will be able to play the complete game campaign. Doing so with over 100 missions, every game mechanic, 3 biomes, and a deep gaming experience. This also includes easter eggs and a wacky sense of humor, with no violence in it. But that's only the beginning.

One Military Camp tasks leaders to revive the continent’s final safe haven back to its former glory. Due to mold fresh cadets into elite soldiers. Manage the camp, build structures, and train recruits efficiently. There may be hope yet for peace throughout the land. Building and managing a well-oiled camp is no easy task. Use the necessary resources to construct a layout that will ensure maximum training efficiency. Once the foundation is ready, hire staff to keep up with the daily routine is a must. Staff will not only keep the camp running properly, but sustain the health and morale of recruits as well. Abylight wants to give special thanks to the community for the support they gave during the One Military Camp development. So they have decided to release the game at a very special price for the Early Bird supporters that buy it at launch. One Military Camp base building management game will be priced at $24.99 USD / £19.99 / 23,99€. But will also offer an extra 10% discount the first week on Steam Early Access. Along with Linux support via Proton and Steam Deck with Windows PC.

Today on Morph brainrot hours: Hermitcraft FMA AU!
except its kinda only Boatem and also Gem and kind of Skizz because. There's too many hermits I can't accurately au them sorryyyy
So! Role call!
Pearl - Lieutenant Colonel Seyche Pearl, the Shifting Earth Alchemist. She became a State Alchemist before the Ishvalan Civil War and joined eventually joined the war. She was assigned to protect the military doctors. After the war, she was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and transferred to Central, where she now does field work and assists with the alchemical laboratory research efforts, specifically with Gem.
Gem - Major General Taylor Gemini, the Mending Alchemist. She was one of the top military doctors during the war, not just for her skill in the medical field but also in the literal warzone. Though she wasn't involved in the work with Philosopher Stones, she did hear rumors about it from the other doctors. She started researching bio-alchemy, earned her State Alchemist license, and eventually became head of the 4th Laboratory.
Impulse - Major Stevens Impulse. Impulse transferred from East to Central shortly after the war and came under Pearl's command. Old friends with Grian, Scar, and Skizz back from the military academy and through the war. He frequently accompanies Gem and Pearl, who are...notoriously bad at watching their backs.
Grian - The Windstorm Alchemist, I haven't decided on his real name yet but most people just call him by his title. Became a State Alchemist right before state alchemists were called in to Ishval and Impulse, Skizz, and Scar came under his command. Some time after the war ended, Grian decided to remain a State Alchemist for research opportunities and transferred to Central, coming under Pearl's command. Both of his arms are automail.
Near the end of the Ishvalan Civil War, Skizz died during a skirmish. Impulse did not take this very well and was transferred to Central not long after the war ended. Grian and Scar blamed themselves for Skizz's death because Grian was his CO and Scar's negligence was partially the cause of his death (though Grian would argue otherwise). While Scar was not a state alchemist, he does know alchemy.
So Grian and Scar decide to bring Skizz back to life. With predictable results. The rebound cost Grian's arms and Scar's legs. The two managed to drag themselves to Mumbo's workshop, leaving the poor man to freak out over his two friends who are both missing half their limbs.
Mumbo, with some help from his boss Tango, makes Grian and Scar new automail limbs. Scar decides to resign from the military and chills in Rush Valley with Mumbo, but Grian continues with his research.
After Grian transfers to Central, he, Gem, Pearl, and Impulse make some headway into Gem's investigation about Philosopher Stones, discovering the passageway under Lab 4 leading the Lab 5. Gem and Pearl go in first, discovering a philosopher stone and barely escape with their lives, Grian and Impulse following them to give backup. Grian gets ahold of Marcoh's documents before the Library burns down and him, Gem, and Pearl all have an aneurysm trying to decode it. No one is happy with the results when they're done anyways.
Also this is all happening in tandem to the canon events of FMA. This is about all i have right now lol I just needed to spill these thoughts from my head XD thanks for reading

KAPUSKASING INTERNMENT CAMP 1914 - 1922 When the First World War began, Canada established internment camps to detain persons viewed as security risks. Prejudice and wartime paranoia led to the needless internment of several thousand recent immigrants. The majority were Ukrainians whose homeland was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. One of the largest camps was built across the river from here at a remote railway siding. Despite harsh conditions, some 1,300 internees constructed buildings and cleared hundreds of acres of spruce forest for a government experimental farm. In 1917 most were paroled to help relieve wartime labour shortages. Thereafter the camp held prisoners of war and political radicals, including leaders of the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike.

Do you ever devise plots around the children your characters have? What their family life is like? How they raise these kids?
I'm just curious to know as I love your plots and they are so fun and intriguing.
it depends! for stuff like john and the harvester, there are no children involved, so there's nothing there to explore, but for things like the knock off ancient world narratives: absolutely! there's nothing messier than high stakes inheritance claims, and for stuff like that, you need to world build the family life otherwise it's. boring.
I have this one ancient-rome-but-I-filed-the-serial-numbers-off-it story where this one guy hooks up with general of his father (the emperor) (everyone's above 20 here btw), and a week later the emperor is assassinated, and the guy realizes he's pregnant. the general is making a play at assuming power, even though the main character is technically listed in the will as successor, and he hates the idea of the general taking advantage of the pregnancy to legitimize his take over for power, so his best friend comes up with an idea to get married and pass the baby off as his, and there's like. another 20 years of story I've built up in my head after that. there's parricide and everything!
also tysm!! 💞💗💖

I'm Back!!
Wow! That was the longest break from my blog! What have I been doing? Not writing in my blog!! haha! I was still playing video games and enjoying life as much as possible. I played quite a few games during this break. Shame on me, I bought a few of the games.
Since my last post, I played:
Century: Age of Ashes - this game is a lot of fun. Fast paced and free! It's a multiplayer shooter game where the player rides a dragon. It's gorgeous game. I LOVE dragons. This game is fun and highly recommended. Makes me look forward to another dragon game coming out, Dragon Dash Division.
Teamfight Tactics and Dota Underlords - I played just a little, both fun games and both are free.
Neverwinter - I played just a little Neverwinter. My warlock should be max level by now, but I got sidetracked with some other games. I'll make sure to get her to level 20 soon.
Dinkum - This is a game that took up a lot of my time. It wasn't free, but it was on sale and well worth it. I had so much fun, and I'm not even done with it. I took a break from it, but I definitely want to return and keep building.
Prison Architect - HA! I bought this game too. It was actually really fun. I didn't get through the tutorial and just dived right into the sandbox to build my own prison. It's a lot of fun. I kept contemplating on buying all the expansions. When they go on sale, I'll try and get the expansions. It's a fun game if you like sandbox games and management games -- build and manage your own prisons.
Cities: Skyline - I have Cities: Skyline 2 on my Wishlist and told myself that I wouldn't buy this game and wait for number 2 to come out. For some reason my impulses got the best of me, and I bought it anyway. It wasn't even on sale!! Why I did this, I don't know. Impulses. I decided that I really like this game. And I wasn't sure when I decided that I'll buy #2 when it come out. I had fun building the city. Both in infinite money mode and not. It's a beautiful game and fun. I'll get number two on sale :)
Crayon Physics Deluxe - This game has been in my Steam library for a while now. One night after playing Prison Architect or Cities Skylines, I logged off and logged in with Crayon Physics. I played a few levels. It's a fun and very challenging game that puts your brain to work.
Eternal Return - This is a free battle royale game. It's a unique game and worth playing. Beware the games are long. I'd have to dedicate an entire day to really enjoy the game.
One Military Camp - I bought this one too!! HAHA! I don't know why, but I did. I was having a field day on sandbox time management games. And there is some sort of attention deficiency within me, that I could not resist. I bought it. It's fun. I have not gotten far. There is some difficulty to the game that makes it worth playing.
---- So those were the games in my absence that I played. What I'm playing now? I haven't really played much in the last week or so. A Break from a break. I was going to go back today and play Dinkum. I really like that game. It's so relaxing to build. It's open to multiplayer too where you can have visitors to your Island and can help you build. Beware, they can also destroy. I visited an Island and right when I ported in, they had a "tour guide"!!! I was like, "wow, so serious!" -- I can understand though. Putting your heart and soul into building an Island and then a multiplayer comes in and destroys instead of helping to build. I know it's just a game, but there is a lot of hard work to building. AND that's great that builder has moderators and "tour guides". I'm not sure if I would open my Island. I have a couple Islands that I started aside from my main Island that I might open to visitors. An Island where I won't care so much if a multiplayer destroys it. It's not the same though, because my main Island is so cool and would be fun to have people visit when completed.
For anyone that visits my blog, welcome back to myself and you. I hope you have a great day! I'll post some screenshots of my time away.

One Military Camp is due to manage and recruit on Deck
Tumblr media
One Military Camp epic new base building management game is coming to Linux via Steam Deck and Windows PC. Due to further details from developer Abylight Barcelona. Which is coming to Steam next month. Finally, we can share great news: One Military Camp, the long awaited "manage sim" will be released next March 2nd, in Early Access. Due to having players take on an amazing experience in the game. So there are plenty of updates and new modes planned for the upcoming months. Along with Linux support via Steam Deck.
For now, a Linux port is not in our plans, BUT the game is gonna be Steam Deck optimised. And since Deck works on Linux, there won't be any problem in porting the game, depending on the demand.
While this is indeed good news for Linux, due note, One Military Camp is also being developed in Unity 3D. Plus, there is a reason behind the lack of Linux support, and it's not Early Access. Abylight is using a custom Unity3D engine. This also means the dev's have their own shaders, pathfinding, terrain system, and some other technologies. As a result, the team is focusing on Proton for the Deck, But still offer hope for a native port too.
