she acts terrified of absolutely everyone except her husband, whom she is increasingly exasperated by. she and ren were rivalling dogwarts with their interactions. she was boogeyman twice in two different seasons and essentially did the exact same trap, that failed in essentially the exact same way, and somehow she still managed to get the kill because the person was too confused to process the fact they were being stabbed. she’s a fairy. she’s the shadow queen. she’s totally definitely pearl, she just has an amnesia cold. she spends half her time complaining about her husband, and the other half flirting with him in front of people. her dogs were named dragon, ogre and taxes so they’d be intimidating. ‘and so I left this world how I entered it: confused.’ she griefed the server. jimmy killed her.

AAAAHH!!! I think I have found the style I love so so much! I used to draw quite similar to this within my first few months of getting into Welcome Home, but I think I have improved a lot!! people love to use ffxiii’s messy development as a reason to completely shit on the game but honestly the fact they managed to sneak in so many little details in the gameplay in a way that reflects the characters and story despite all the miscommunication between the dev sections is just impressive to me

#was xiii horribly planned out and missed out on a lot of important feedback because of the poor time management? absolutely #does that mean you cant be impressed with what the game achieved regardless of whether you liked it or not? fuck no #also the fact theres next to no bugs (not counting the pc port because... yeah) is amazing all things considered #and the graphics still hold up to this day #the linearity is everyones main issue with the game but look at x dude #x was linear as hell too but it makes sense bc yuna had a pilgrimage to follow #just as how it makes sense for the xiii cast to not have time to stop and explore cocoon while they were being hunted by the government #thats why you have so much more freedom to explore when youre on pulse #theres not even anything objectively wrong with having a game be linear in the first place #and the people complaining about the story being ''incoherent'' are just... wrong? #they give you enough hints within the dialogue to piece the story together yourself while also not leaning on exposition dumps to tell it #and if you cant do that then the datalogs are right THERE #games have relied on ''notes'' to tell parts of their story for ages now and i dont understand why its suddenly bad when xiii does it #i dont like sitting through exposition dumps and i like being able to analyse and theorize about a plot WHILE im experiencing it #and a lot of other people feel the same way so its not an objectively bad aspect of the game's storytelling #you just need to pay attention and be patient and wait for the story to unfold #i went off the rails but ANYWAY #aki stfu #final fantasy xiii

i turn 23 next week and it’s a little strange to me. my first birthday where i won’t be in school bc now i have a degree. a job. an apartment filled with groceries, and i pay for all of it myself.

#and that's a wrap people! #i really liked it #it was cute and a lot of fun #i do wish we got a bit more character development but otherwise i didn't have too many issues #looking back early episodes don't show the bowzock as they are like in the first few episodes they're perverted in a sense but that #basically diminishes a lot very quickly just in case that's not something you want to see #there's a lot of flashing lights early on but they lessen over time but do note they are still there #i didn't talk about it much but i really enjoyed kosuke and zonnette's romance and how that played out #i think minoru and kyosuke had the strongest character focused episodes and are standouts for this one #natsumi is close behind with naoki and unfortunately youko just didn't get the time like the others #although a lot of the characters shined through antics and bc kyosuke and minoru were very carefree and silly they did draw #attention hence why i could say more for them than the others #this is really just a fun sentai with a lot of antics and out there logic so definitely something i'd enjoy #next will be megaranger and then we'll see from there :) #umbrella.thoughts #umbrella.posts #carranger lb #super sentai lb

He felt deep, and he didn’t give a damn if someone had a problem with that.  Milo Greer was not shy. But when it came to David, he knew better than to let his emotions get the best of him.

This is gonna be a expanded version of one of the events in my fic adjacent ramble about ship (found here, if you're curious). I'm grabbing that first Moonbound Solstice audio by the throat and using it for rarepair shenanigans. (Also I'm hoping to use WIP Wednesday as writing motivation, but I might also throw in some sketch WIPs every once in awhile. We'll see~)

Shikama Narration: The source of both God's power and angels' lives is here in "Light." Miracles are possible because of this "Light."

Shikama: O, Light.

Shikama Narration: That's why we've been so fervently gathering up all this "Light" into the Tower of Babel. To return to God's side. To return to paradise. That's "Light." However, because all this "Light" is connected to God's power, we are not able to bring about miracles so freely. There are some things forbidden by threat of punishment. There are three most dire of these: Resurrection of life, prolonging of life, creation of life.

Shikama Narration: Thus, the "Light" will not be used for miraculous resurrecion, and it will not be used for miraculous healing, and it will not be used for miraculous creation....but...

Shikama: Combine.

Shikama Narration: I stumbled upon something. A way to use the "Light" without it reaching God's eyes. After many such experiments in conducting miracles unknown to God, I first dared the creation of Mikaela. I created an angel, unobserved.

Shikama: Mikaela.

Shikama Narration: Your creation was successful, and yet I bear no punishment. But this...

Shikama: Is this your lenience? Or just a test upon the bounds of my arrogance? Maybe you're not even watching us at all. If I don't recieve an answer, I'm going through with it. I'm going to convert all the Light gathered in Babel...

Shikama: First, I resurrect Mikaela. Mikaela has enough Light to resurrect and heal all of the angels, and I've gathered it all into seven keys. With that power, I'm going to perform it on all of them. Everyone will return to paradise together, alive. That good?

Shikama: I cannot go back alone. We'll be coming as a group.

Shikama: You never do answer. Well then.

Shikama: O, "Light."

Shikama: Hide from God's sight, change into Darkness.

Shikama: Yuu, I'm going to resurrect Mikaela and save everyone. Convert all the Light stored in Babel to Darkness.

it’s weird how many compliments I get now for just. existing. and wearing pretty clothes. it’s nuts how differently people treat me based on what I wear. smth smth commentary on humanity whatever I’m just glad other ppl also like my skirts.

I don’t mask much at school anymore. #so this is people complimenting someone who is constantly flinching at sudden noises and randomly twitches/stims #it’s intriguing to me #people approach?? me?? and compliment my outfit and then we chat abt where I got it #and then they say hi to me in class the next day #and suddenly I have someone I can email if I need to miss class and want that day’s notes #it’s so wild #this happens more the weirder I dress btw. if I’m wearing sparkles and a petticoat and a bunch of pins and hairclips I get more #positive attention. which is real intriguing to me. #but I also genuinely like dressing like this? it’s nice to be complimented and it makes me feel good #but I also do it when nobody sees me just bc I enjoy it #I feel more confident in myself and how I perceive myself and I think the confidence also helps #a few of my friends have commented that I hold myself very differently now #one jokingly calls it my ‘queer glowup’ bc this coincided w me being more open and accepting abt my queer identities #which I think is fun

I'll never understand Demon Slayer fans wondering why all Hashira have a similar backstory, but also they don't care for Mitsuri's backstory at all

Like for one, no shit are most Hashira going to hate demons bc they killed someone close to them, that's partially why Tanjiro is so unique as a demon slayer.
