Mario Bros. Classic Serie (NES, PAL-B, 1993)
“In 1993, a few years after the advent of the Super NES, Nintendo released another version of Mario Bros. in Europe. This new version was sold in versions compatible with each European region, with a PAL-B release from Nintendo of Europe featuring German text on the box and manual, and an Italian PAL-A release (without the "Classic Serie" emblem) by toy importer Linea GiG S.p.A., Nintendo's distributor in Italy throughout the 1990s.
This is an adaptation of Kaettekita Mario Bros., foregoing all food- and contest-related content and adding new enemy introduction screens that mimic the ones found in the arcade version. This version also retains the second phase from the Japanese version, making the first bonus stage appear at Phase 4.
This version is the closest yet to the arcade, with a few exceptions:
Jump direction can still be controlled in midair.
The Shellcreeper intro lacks the "demonstration" text and "bonus coin" portion from the arcade, and the Slipice introduction lacks the text "ARE YOU READY FOR THE NEXT PHASE ?"
Introductions feature a brick floor not seen in the arcade, with an extra brick border on the Slipice intro.
Enemy speed has increased compared to Kaettekita Mario Bros., with most enemies, especially Fighterflies, now exceeding the speed of their arcade equivalents.
"Game A" and "Game B" options have returned.
Enemy intro screens do not display your remaining lives.
In another holdover from Kaettekita Mario Bros. rules, bonus stage time limits are all set to 20 seconds.
Game Over music now has one wrong note. The third note in the jingle's bassline incorrectly moves upward instead of continuing a descending arpeggio.”

Brand discourse: a non-solution to a non-problem
"Don't interact with brands" has been a thing for two weeks and it's already driven itself into the ground.
First of all, is there even a problem? Specifically, is there more of a problem than there was a few months ago? Half the blogs listed in brand-directory haven't posted for years. The most recent of the various BBC blogs seems to have shut down in 2021. Wendy's stopped posting in 2017, the same year their twitter became the internet's darling.
The handful of active ones tend to date back to the time when this site was big, contrary to claims that 'most brand accounts are only one or two months old'. In at least one case, I got the impression that no human had actually touched the blog in ages, but someone set up a bot in 2015 and it's still piping in new content.
Blazed posts, on the rare occasion they show up on my dash, are still kpop idol X reader fanfic or political screeds: not the endless corp-sponsored ad slog that was prophesized.
But even if all of the above is wrong: you have no enforcement mechanism! The people who want to interact with marvel dot tumblr dot com aren't going to let you stop them! Actually, scratch that, you have one enforcement mechanism and it's dogpiling anyone who reblogs a brand, or acting like it's the end of the world when one of their posts gets too many notes.
Like, I get it, it's flattering to imagine that powerful companies are flocking to tumblr now that twitter got slightly worse for them, but that's not what's happening! And the equally flattering idea that we can claim a victory against The Corpos by reblogging enough "Don't interact with brands" posts is equally false!
And the most frustrating part of it all is that a year from now, when this whole thing has blown over, there'll be people saying "Remember when all those companies tried to come to tumblr? Good thing we prevented that."

So, despite Nintendo of America being a big ol shit lipped bitch
We have confirmed release and language support for Fashion Dreamer!
November Second my fashion people!!
We will be rising!!!
One thing I want to say though is this is Syn Sophia’s breaking free game, so its still a dip in the water on what they want to do fashion game wise!
Please use constructive criticism so we can get more fashion games from them! They’re gonna help us bring back the genre if we help them do it right!!

The Deep Cut banners are available in Australia and New Zealand.
Check the news about Shiver winning the recent Splatfest. It doesn't have a dedicated post like Japan and the Americas.

Metroid Dread Sticker Sheet
This sticker sheet was released in Europe on October 8, 2021 as a free bonus item. This was presumably released originally for pre-ordering the Nintendo Switch title, Metroid Dread. At some point, Europe's My Nintendo Store website started offering these are general purchase bonuses for those who ordered the physical version of the game. In addition, they would also receive a keyring and a poster. This was likely left-over pre-order stock and despite the game releasing, Nintendo continued to offer the bonus.

Silent Hope demo now available
Gematsu Source
Tumblr media
A demo for Silent Hope is now available for Switch via Nintendo eShop and PC via Steam, publishers XSEED Games, Marvelous Europe, and Marvelous announced.
The demo allows players to take on the entire first level of the Abyss, and progress can be carried over to the full game when it launches.
Here is an overview of the game, via Marvelous:
About
In a world without words, what hope is there for humanity? Silent Hope takes place in a once-peaceful land, silenced by the former King who stole people’s speech before escaping into the endless chasm known as The Abyss. Following these events, the Princess mourned her father’s actions and wept until she was entombed by her own crystallized tears. Now, years after these events faded from memory, seven heroes find themselves drawn towards the Princess. To break her free from her luminous prison, they must brave the depths of The Abyss to find the long-lost King and reunite the royal family. Silent Hope harkens back to the glory days of isometric dungeon-crawlers while infusing them with a modern approach. Players will take the role of seven unlikely heroes, each with their own unique weapons, fighting styles, and non-combat jobs. After diving into The Abyss to battle enemies and collect materials, the heroes return to Base Camp to craft, cook, and rest up for their next adventure. Each journey into The Abyss will be a fresh experience, with randomized layouts ensuring every excursion has the element of chance, with even greater dangers lurking the further the heroes dare to venture.
Key Features
Seven Heroes, Seven Unique Fighting Styles – Choose from a motley crew of characters like the well-rounded Wanderer, long-range specialist Archer, or heavy-hitting Warrior to find whose skills suit your playstyle, and embrace new roles and abilities as you gain more experience.
A Home at the Edge of the World – Find new recipes and materials and return to your Base Camp at the edge of The Abyss, where each character has a unique job. From alchemist to blacksmith to cook, each hero brings something different.
Engaging Exploration and Dungeon-Crawling – Experience a new layout each time you enter the enigmatic Abyss, keeping you on your toes every moment. Stay on the lookout for Memory Rifts, where greater rewards and challenges await.
A Vibrant Storybook Aesthetic – With its mournful princess, spellbound kingdom, and everyday heroes, it feels like a fairy tale come to life—right down to the mysteries waiting to be uncovered in the visually stunning underworld.
Silent Hope is due out for Switch on September 28 in Japan, followed by Switch and PC via Steam on October 3 worldwide.
