Look, I don’t get into this but some comments are taken way too far and attack people personally. It goes beyond fictional characters. As a black woman it pisses me off certain clois fans who are taking it upon themselves to try to use important things as sexism, racism, xenophobia to start shipping wars and try to score cheap points.

Unfortunately, at times, it seems that Superman is written that way to run away from being truthful to himself. Superman is a refugee from a destroyed planet. However, he can easily “hide”, disguise himself as an ordinary caucasian male, named Clark Kent, because he just so happens to have that appearance and a pair glasses. In order for Superman to stay sane and “human”, he has to be with a human love interest and if she dies or isn’t with her, he is just a battling alien, becomes a murderous dictator or gives up being a hero period.

Wonder Woman is written at times as a naive and gullible, doe-eyed Princess. She could’ve just very well lived her days on her utopian island. Arriving to Man’s world, she could’ve very well flaunted her royalties and looked down upon Man’s world. Just because Wonder Woman is an “Amazon” that somehow means she isn’t human. So she has to be shackled and taught by the very first man, who is Caucasian, she ever met to be civilized.

It’s not enough that they selflessly use their gifts to keep earth safe. It’s not enough, Kal-El was RAISED by HUMANS who instilled morals and values. It’s not enough, Diana of Themyscira made the choice on her OWN ACCORD and in her heart, to leave her island to bring peaceful change. They have to live in secret, bow down, be controlled, be put on “leashes” by human love interests to be accepted. How exactly is that humanizing them?

If a so called “hero” is depended on one human to give even an ounce of care for other humans, he/she is not a hero at all. The grounding argument is counterproductive.

Rebirth is a backwards move showing that Superman needs to be in his comfort bubble with this “leave it to beaver” mentality or he’ll mope and act like a whiny coward. If all he has is his little family safe, that’s all that matters and screw the rest of the world. He is hiding as a privileged pie eating farmer who barely makes sacrifices because everything is easily given on a platter. On the other hand, in Rebirth, Wonder Woman has been stripped of everything. Her entire character history being supposedly a lie, having a mental breakdown, void of emotions, and is a supporting character in her own book, because a woman should know her place.

Superman and Wonder Woman are never together just because of being physically strong. Wonder Woman was to be the answer, counterpart, and challenge to Superman, representing feminine values of kindness and compassion, without being perceived as weak. Meaning RESPECT. True feminism: the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes. They appear to be as Gods, but they do not see themselves as such and have the most pure human hearts of all. Superman and Wonder Woman aren’t suppose to fit in and hide themselves as if who they are, are burdens. Superman is to fight for the oppress. Wonder Woman is to fight for world wide peace and equality.

Charles Soule is an immigration lawyer, who understands diversity and cultural differences within relationships. Who understands the conflicts. What he showed through writing New52 Superman/Wonder Woman is the natural conflict and commonness they would have between them. Debating whether or not to keep their relationship secret from the judgmental, hypocritical and fearful world. A world they selflessly put first not only before their relationship but also themselves individually.

Soule also showed the give and take of the relationship, finding the balance. Kal and Diana learned, came to an understanding and grew together accepting the challenges and complications of their relationship. It wasn’t easy. It was earned. Diana giving Kal that push to accept all of who he is and to not be ashamed is what should be done in a relationship and what makes their relationship loving and real.

So to those Clois fans, stop trying to use important issues to push your ship because you feel threatened by SuperWonder. There will be a day real people who suffer from these real issues call you out about the shit you are saying. Your ship is not superior to any others, you have no right to tell people how to ship or who to ship and you sure as hell don't need to pretend you are for females when it is known all you do is block or bully any female that has a divergent view to you. SuperWonder has fans from different cultures, races, ages, gender, orientations...so your accusation(s) are bullshit.

I think they’re cute and I’m glad that Damian made some friends around his age. However, I’m not following that title( issue? I’m still confused about all the phrases) and I’m not familiar with Superfamily and what’s going on there.(the last time I check Rebirth!Batman was trying to get New52!Superman back with Pre52!Superman/s help, which is like, an year ago?? I still don’t know if they got him back or what.

I know many people like Damijon, but I prefer them being platonic. It’s not about their ages, but more because that I’m not a big fan of the “Every Bat gets their own Supe” thing. You see, I ship Clois and Batcat more than Superbat ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe I’ll ship them if I really go to read the comics ( I’ve read some Titans so yeh Timkon is some good shit) , but right now, I’m not that interested. (AND I MISS COLIN!

Well you are going to hated this.......Well look like New52's Superman and his Lois Lane is Back as Super(wo)man Red to his counterpart Superman Blue Mama's Lois Lane and the Superdad as They are going to be a merging together as one Superman...oh boy this is going to not ended well for anyone except for Fewer Clois and i am somewhat happy about their return again but not whole "merging" thing as the "saner" Cloister that really pissing me off!

Fuck DC. I’m a fan of SM/WW, but it’s Okay if they want to serve the Clois herd. It’s been like that for years, and if the many wants the ugly thing. who am I to contradict them. After all, Trump is the President of the USA, so they can deal with horrible (sorry, that also wasn’t the majority either). My thing is: not only readers outgrew the rebirth version of Superman, the World did. The character is no longer in tune with reality: his way of thinking, his lifestyle, his job...everything is outdated. No wonder readers drift away: there’s nothing in him that reflects how thing are nowadays. You want to kill Superman? Then this is the best way: stuck him in the past. Man of Tomorrow? He’s rather a blast from the past. Some people still want the wide eye farm boy from 1938′s Kansas, still amazed by the life in a big city. That’s not even what his creators devised for him: they created a paladin for the common man, a resourceful and determined hero, not a needy child, who always needs to be told what to do by some human, be it Batso or Lois. N52 Supes had a lot of faults, but the Morrison version and the first JL version had potential, they just didn’t let it grow, because of some stupid notion that people wouldn’t like it. They didn’t give him a fair chance, same way they didn’t give SM/WW a chance to develop and see what they can become before splitting them apart. Well, here we are: now he is a second rate hero with no future, only depending on his past reputation.
