i love this so much! we are just going to ignore the fact that I just learned that Shadow is a male...How did i not notice while playing-_-

also, Shadow i only focused on griffon and shadow hope you don't mind!

V x Reader: Cuddles with the familiars

Being V’s significant other ultimately meant being able to tolerate two seemingly dangerous and overly protective familiars. That made V very anxious since he knew that not a lot of people would be able to handle such creatures. Their dark nature always scared people away. Yet you were not scared, you were fascinated. Somehow, you could even say that you had some kind of invisible bond with both Griffon and Shadow. From the moment you met them you fell in love with them and they with you, V never understood that but he nevertheless he was very grateful.

Opening the door to your shared apartment you were faced with a silent V reading his book. Two seconds passed and before you could properly enter you were tackled down by shadow, griffon flying right next to your head. V turned his head to observe the scene, something that would occur every time you would return from work. But still it wasn’t something you could get used to.

“Took you long enough huh (y/n)? Shadow got worried over there” Shadow just gave Griffon a death stare and continued laying in your lap. V had gotten off the couch by now and was standing next to you with a smirk on his face.

“Griffon don’t be mean to Shadow, or we both know where you will end up” A giggle left your mouth and you turned to see and extended hand waiting for you to take it.

“I see, i think they like you more than me” V pulled you to your feet and you wrapped your arms around his waist , burying your head in the crook of his neck.

“That’s not true and you know it” The room filled with your giggles as you stared into V’s green eyes. After detaching yourself from him you dragged him back to the couch this time your head in his lap. Your head was pounding like crazy from the intensity of your day at work and the only thing you could think about was how you were going to relax with V close to you.

“Hard day at work?” his velvety voice was so soothing to your ears after the screaming and yelling in the office. Nero and Dante were a handful to manage. Your body curled closer to his as you nodded and you could feel your muscles relax as he stroked your head. A small smile found its place on your face as you felt something warm curling on your legs. You slightly raised your head and was faced with a sleepy Shadow.

“You are sleepy too my boy?” you pet the huge jaguar as he now lay still on your legs, his dense fur providing warmth to your tired body. Griffon felt left out completely so he came and took his usual place close to your chest, your arms slowly curling around him, careful not to hurt his beautiful wings. V could feel his heart warm up at the sight. He never expected this turn of events, he was beyond relieved that you three were so close. You always wanted some kind of a pet and V having two familiars was just perfect.

Kissing both Griffon and Shadow on their heads you felt your eyes become more and more droopy as time passed by.

“Don’t I get a kiss?” V stared at you his eyebrows raised from the lack of attention from you. You turned your head toward him mouthing a soft sorry in your way and placed a kiss on his cheek. After seeing his deadpan expression you tiredly giggled again and gave him a normal kiss on the lips.

Your lips parted and you just went back to your original position, one arm hugging Shadow and one hugging Griffon.

“Want me to read you a bit?” You quickly nodded your head at the suggestion and closed your eyes enjoying his smooth voice filling the room.

“I love you all”

The words slowly started to merge into one and your breathing slowed down as you surrendered to dreamland.

The bummer about loving V from Devil May Cry is that given he is half of Vergil, we are likely to never see him again in future games.

The upside is that if we DO see him again that means something really funny happened.

Baking with the DMC V boys

This is my first time trying to make these headcanon type posts, be nice pls.

Content: Romantic/platonic dante x G/N reader, vergil x reader, nero x reader ...? Cause any scenario here can be taken in any way, relationship or friendship (cause what if ur aro/ace but still wanna do fun shi with your favs?)

Dante

Wants to lick the batter off the whisk, but you gotta stop him. The remnants in the bowl is free game, however

Insists on winging the recipe, says you gotta "feel" it

FLOUR FIGHT! Your peaceful baking session descends into chaos. You both end up covered in flour while the cake is in the oven

Despite him being good with his hands his cake decorating skills kinda suck ass

Its okay though, since you both tried your best and had fun, even if the cake looks like doodoo. It tastes good however... so it wasnt a waste after all

Hes a notorious frosting licker, you have to swat him off the cake like a fly.

If you bake something a pastry instead hes gonna poke the dough.

(Romance:) will lick the frosting/batter off of your hand or face if you get any of it on you while mixing.

Vergil

Im not gonna lie here, he miiight turn it into a bit of a contest.

His perfectionistic nature will push him to ultra tryhard it, even if it is just a dessert or pastry. He'll check the recipe constantly and will be careful about each detail (or at least try)

You remind him that you two are baking for fun and he calms down a bit, but he will still act as if hes competing in the great british bakeoff or some shit

Insists on frosting the cake for you, but only so he can show off how steady his hands are. (Even if he screws it up)

The cake ends up being too pretty to eat

Wants to try harder pastries and desserts, usually something fancy like a mille fueille

That doesnt mean you two will always succeed however, Vergil just likes to push his limits even if he fails.

He'll give you a warm smile as you two finish the thing youre baking. At least hes not so tense anymore...

(Romance:) he'll feed you a piece of whatever you two baked together, looking into your eyes and watching for your reaction, then kisses you to have a taste but go back to being his stonefaced grumpy self later like nothing happened.

Nero

Overmixes the batter because hes tense

Kinda scatterbrained, will forget to preheat the oven sometimes

Hes actually more tolerable to bake with than his dad or uncle, less tense and also less chaotic

He'll let you take the lead for this one, just tell him what to do or get and he'll go right on ahead.

Hes actually not so tense anymore, considering baking is a relaxing activity.

Will leave the decorating to you, hes not very good at it.

(Platonic:) insists on leaving some for kyrie, aint no way he wont give her any

(Romantic:) will always leave some for you, no matter how good it tastes.

You two wont be making anything too complex but whatever comes out of it tastes great and his presence will make baking feel like a wholesome activity.

You two tell stories to each other and get a bit distracted.

Sparda Boys + V x Reader with ASPD (antisocial personality disorder) headcannons

¤ Dante ¤

-He noticed you were very avoiding of people and initially assumed you to be introverted and shy--until he brought you along on a job where you saw some suffering people and smiled. It was then when he began to wonder if this was more than just introversion.

-After your diagnosis came in, Dante wasn't all to surprised to learn you had antisocial personality disorder, seeing as he kinda suspected all along, but started to fear how your relationship would change because of this. If you didn't like people, did that mean you wouldn't like him?

-He was a little bothered by it, but quickly got over it and decided that if you won't take the initiative to socialize, then he will.

-He tries to engage in conversation with you as much as possible, yet is mindful of your boundaries. If you start to visibly get uncomfortable or anxious, he'll pipe down, press a kiss to your cheek, tell you it's OK and leave the room.

-If you want him to stay, he will. He'll sit next to you or across from you and flip through his magazine, just basking in your presence.

-However, if you are interested in going out there and attempting to get over your aspd (good for you!) Then Dante will put his extroverted ass to work and bring you to parties/gatherings/whatever so you can mingle. As stated before, he respects your boundaries, and will make sure everyone else respects them too.

-If you have manipulative tendencies, Dante can and will resist them. Such behavior is unhealthy and he will not allow it to continue.

□ Vergil □

-Vergil didn't think much about your antisocial tendancies; if anything, he found it to be something the two of you had in common.

-Once he learned of your official diagnosis, he nearly fainted. No, it wasn't because he was afraid your relationship would take a turn for the worse, it was because he was ecstatic to finally have someone he could relate to.

-He doesn't care that you can be a little insensitive sometimes, because he is too. You guys don't fight often, and if you do, things either blow over within a few days, or someone forces you two to talk things out.

-You two are best friends now--no, more than that--soulmates. You hang out together all the time, never really speaking a word to each other, just chilling. Literally chilling.

-Sometimes you sit in matching plastic chairs outside, sipping drinks and silently, casually, judging everyone who walks by.

-Loves to read with you, too. It may seem uncomfortable to passerbys, as you're just quietly sitting together, your noses buried in books, but you two are actually more comfortable than you've ever been in your lives.

-Vergil will never push you to socialize with others, nor will he try to take that initiative himself. He's all you need and you're all he needs.

○ Nero ○

-Nero noticed you despised socializing and generally being around people, so he decided to talk to you about it. After a long, long chat, he arranged for you to visit a specialist, who diagnosed you with antisocial personality disorder.

-He was a little worried on the inside, as he genuinely cares about you, but decided to not say anything and just support you in any way he could.

-He encourages you to go out and do things, but also doesn't mind spending a quiet night in, just cuddling and watching movies.

-He will protect you from Dante and Nico annoying extroverts and help you get out of uncomfortable conversations if such a situation arises.

-He understands you can be a little insensitive and does his best to not take it personally.

-He loves you, all of you, even if you are a little cold sometimes.

• V •

-After receiving news of your diagnosis, V decides to embark on an educational journey. He reads tome after tome after tome and scours Wikipedia for information on your condition.

-He understands that manipulative, sadistic tendencies are common in patients with ASPD, and that that kind of behavior can lead to unhealthy relationships. Therefore, he decides he will support you however you need him to, from correcting your behavior to helping you initiate conversations.

-Griffon is a huge help here; his loud mouth cracks a lot of funny jokes you can't help but reply to.

-Shadow is also great for emotional support, should you need it; the big ol fluffy cat is perfect for cuddles.

-He won't pressure you into interacting with other people because secretly, he loves being the only person (not counting his familiars) you ever really talk to.

-Most days, V will read to you and may even write poems for you, which he will then read aloud. Then he'll just wander around the house doing stuff, preferably with you.
