I did get a few lil Easter treats on Sunday 馃槃
I don鈥檛 like alot of chocolate so the Easter Bunny
usually gives me lil something else that I鈥檒l enjoy.
I got these cool lil Frozen figures/dolls
of Anna and Elsa. One set from the first movie
and another set from the second movie.
I think their great I love them.
I did also get a tiny bit of chocolate tho
of course I did get a lil basket
of Cadbury Creme Eggs being I love those
and I get some every year at Easter time.
also my Dad came over and gave me a lil chocolate
bunny as he does every year 馃榿
but anyway I do hope everyone had a good Easter
this year too. 馃槂

Ultimate Ghostface Figure!
We got them in this week at work along with
some other Halloween related fun things.
and being I'm a Scream fan I had to bring
one home. I have the original McFarlane
Movie Maniacs Series 2 Ghostface back in the
late 90s early 2000s which I absolutely love
and Now I picked up this one that looks really
cool. So I was of course happy to get it.

So yes we went to see the new horror movie
Abigail earlier this week. I was like
little ballerina vampire? sure why not?
the premises of the movie might sound
a bit silly but it is actually pretty good!
I really enjoyed it. I don't feel that it
was a horror movie it is billed as such but
I didn't feel it was I didn't find it scary
and there was no real jumps or anything
I kinda of felt it was a bit more of a
dark comedy. It had more humor in it then
scares in my opinion.
They also leaned into the silly idea of the
movie itself with the characters commenting
on how crazy and outlandish the situation
is involving a little ballerina vampire.
Your basic story is this group of criminals
are hired to kidnap this little girl
and hold her for ransom for 24 hours
they soon find out that not everything is
as it seems when they are locked into this
mansion and are set upon but a cute lil
pink tutu wearing vampire as she prances
around tearing them apart one by one.
the movie has some really nice practical
and visual effects as well as some nice
make-up work too.
The acting was good too from all involved
especially from Alisha Weir who plays the
title character of Abigail. I bet she had
tons of fun working on this movie.
but everyone did an amazing job.
but yeah I thought it was a good movie
it was crazy and interesting and I
felt it was a bit different then the
usual vampire stuff.
So if you are curious about the movie
I would say give it it watch.

So we finally went to see the next chapter of the MonsterVerse GodzillaxKong: The New Empire.
I was super excited to go see this because as a
Godzilla fan I have been enjoying this series.
Also yes there was plenty of collectable goodies for
this movie which of course you can see here.
So as for the movie itself I would say
I pretty much loved it I thought it was great myself.
I loved all the monster action and all the smashing and crashing.
You can tell how these movies evolved from the 2014 Godzilla
to now being in the 2014 movie it was very I'd say human
centric and as they went on the monsters pretty much
took center stage.
I feel that the human involvement in this movie was
very minimal and were there when they needed to be.
and that Warner Bros was all "they want monsters we'll
give them monsters!" because I feel this was like
85% monster action!
Now with the story I do feel much like the previous
Godzilla vs Kong that the story is focused more on
Kong then Godzilla.
Kong is the main character in this movie and does
get the most screen time.
but as for the story itself if kinda is telling two at the
same time a Kong Story and a Godzilla story and
going back and forth until the 2 meet up again.
I don't know the timeline of this I don't remember
if they mention anything but I think
it does take place shortly after the previous
movie maybe a year or 2?
Your basic story is this Kong is living in the Hollow
Earth while Godzilla is above.
Kong is still lonely believing he is the last of his kind
until he finds a hidden underground area with many
like himself but it is ruled by a ruthlessly despotic ape
known only as "The Skar King" Kong of course comes
into conflict with him and gets the upper hand for
the moment until the Skar King unleashes
his ultimate weapon a kiju named Shimo who has
a devastating ice attack causing
Kong to retreat and seek help from the only one
who can match Shimo's power the King of the
Monsters Godzilla! after a short scuffle
Godzilla agrees to Help Kong and the Monster
action goes into full swing!
Now I like I said I love this movie
I thought it was every exciting and very fun and delved more
into the mythology of the characters of Godzilla and Kong
I loved how they introduced some more new monsters like The
Skar King and the little minikong Suko who was a real bastard
when you meet him but of course became a friend of
Kong's as Kong earned his trust.
I also love the return of Mothra as well.
The animation and character work for this movie was impressive
too especially with Kong and the other ape characters as well as
Godzilla who seemed to have a greater sense of motion in this
movie as you can see him both running and jumping.
Also like I said the monster action is amazing
Ken Watanabe's character Dr. Ishiro Serizawa
said it best in the first movie of this series
back in 2014 "Let them Fight" and this movie takes
that to heart and lets them fight! the fight in
Egypt is alot of fun but its pretty much not
until they get to Rio and then everything goes
crazy! but it is so much fun to watch
and I would say it is very satisfying all the
smashing and crashing and buildings going
flying as the monsters tear everything apart.
but in the end this is just an amazingly fun
movie. There is plenty of action and its exciting
and goes deeper into the lore and I feel it is
having lots of fun expanding on this world and this
universe. One thing with these movies is I would
like to see more classic characters appear
like Anguirus and maybe Gigan
but I also like how they are creating newer
monster for these movies too.
I'm just enjoying everything in these movies
and loving it all! but yeah if you are
enjoying the MonsterVerse as much as I am
then I would highly recommend this one.

So yeah with our viewing of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
there was plenty of collectable goodies!!
cups, buckets and even plushies!
and I was told to get what ever I wanted so I did!
we picked up all things Godzilla of course.
Now as for the Bucket I don't think you can call
it a bucket it more of a collectable tin.
it's rectangular and about 11-12inches tall and
of course is made of metal. As to what it is?
I think its suppose to be some kind of
monster containment unit and this one would be
to house Godzilla.
there are plenty of Monarch logos and codes
and classification wording on it.
Also there is some really nice
Godzilla artwork on the inside you can't see it
clearly in the video so I had to focus a light
down the top of it so it would give you a better look
at things. Also you could get 3 different ones
Godzilla, Kong and Skar King.
I have to say I like it its cool and different
then the usually stuff you get.
Now as for the Cup it is the regular size one
it say 32oz on the bottom which is roughly
946 milliliters. It is another super glossy
photo cup with a character wrap around image
Shimo, Godzilla, Kong and Skar King
and has the movies logo on it near the bottom.
The topper is really nice and extremely detailed
I think it is one of the most detailed toppers
we ever got. they of course had different ones
like the tins they had Godzilla, Kong and Skar King
and of course I went 100% Godzilla.
Now as for the Plushie when I seen them
I was like "OMG! they're so cute!!"
and I had to get one of course.
so I looked through them and of course picked
out a Godzilla. They had a couple of others
one of Kong and one of the minikong character
Suko. They looked good too but I of course
just wanted a Godzilla. but yeah he is
cute and is about 8-9 inches so he is not
super small. but that is it got the GxK
stuff I'm really happy with everything
we got.

When on our way to see Madame Web we found this
on the Hot Wheels pegs when we were leaving toys
at Walmart Tuesday night.
Now I'm not a fan of Monster High I don't
have any of the dolls or watched any of the shows/movies
I have like one other Monster High thing that someone
gave me but I thought this looked cool so I picked it.
So Monster High fans out there keep a look out for
this if you want it for your collection.

So we went to see that new spy movie Argylle
I seen the trailers and thought that it looked
pretty good and it all kinds of people
in it that you generally like so I thought we should
check it out.
and I would have to say that I thought it was a
pretty great movie. I feel that it has a little
bit of everything in it. Its a action movie
as well as a dramatic thriller and at times it
was also a bit of a comedy.
Your basic story is as follows
Bryce Dallas Howard plays a writer
Elly Conway who is world famous for her
series of spy novels called "Argylle"
which is all about the adventures of
a James Bond type of character known
as "Agent Argylle" (played by Henry Cavill
he basically plays the character as she
pictures him in her minds eye)
and while she is finishing work on her
5th book in the series an secret evil organizations
just like in her stories comes after her
because of something that she has written
and they want to capture her and find out
what she know about their nefarious plots!
she had her cat Alfie are rescued by a
real life spy Aidan Wilde (played by Sam Rockwell)
and her, Alfie and Aidan go on this globe trotting
adventure to discover the truth why she is
so important and why the evil organizations wants her.
The best way I could kind of describe it this
is it is a bit of a spy action movie like
James Bond almost but parts of it did kind of
remind me of the recent Sandra Bullock movie
The Lost City, also there was a little bit
of like Jason Bourne/The Bourne Identity in
there and as well as the what I like to
call Matthew Vaughn's "serious silliness"
Now like I said I thought this movie was
great! the story is really good there is
there is a nice mystery to figure out
plenty of twists and turns and some surprises.
I did have a few gasps at some of the reveals
as the story unfolded, it really kept my interest
and kept me guessing a bit on things
you do kinda of have to pay attention to
the story a bit or you might miss something
being I do feel that this is a bit layered
in its storytelling.
I thought the acting was great it has
pretty much a A-List cast of all people
that you would generally like and enjoy
in a movie and I thought everyone played
their parts perfectly.
The action, fights and stunts are all
pretty crazy and pretty cool like the
train fight when Elly meets Aidan
and that little yellow truck
Henry Cavill drives across the roof tops
I don't know how that thing survived that
but some of the action was very comical I
though like the hallway escape dance number
thing with the smoke was different
and the oil skating did give me a laugh.
but that was part of it some of it was
kinda outlandish to the point of being
funny and there was I thought some good
action movie humor in there too between
Sam Rockwell and Bryce Dallas Howard's
characters.
I seen alot of people online not like it
and I don't see why. I feel this is a big
fun exciting summer movie in the middle of the
winter. I personally really liked it
it had great action, had some humor
and a story that kept me engaged and
curious about what was going to happen next.
So me personally I'd say if you are interested
in seeing it or curious about it I would say
give it a chance.
Also there is a very interesting mid credits
scene at the end of the movie also.

Not only did we go to see
Disney's Wish This past Tuesday but
we also stayed to see the Musical Extravaganza
Wanka. Now I'll say I'm not a huge fan of
the original movie I've seen both versions
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory 1971 and
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 2005
I seen them both a few times their not
bad movies its just not something I fell
in love with. Probably because I didn't see the
original when I was a kid and only really watched
it for the first time I think when the Remake
came around. So if I'm not a fan why go see this?
It was the tag line "Discover how Willy became Wonka"
I thought it would be interesting to go see this somewhat
origin story and that is what you get
a young Willy Wonka off on his dream to become
the best chocolate maker in the world
the problems and pitfalls he has on the way
how he meets the oompa loompas and how the
factory gets started.
Now what did I think of this movie?
honestly? I thought it was great! I actually
enjoyed this way more then I did the original
movies. I felt this was fun, exciting and
just like chocolate a lil nutty lol
It was actually a weirdly interesting movie
at times.
I would have to say the movie is also a
visual spectacle with the amazing dance numbers
and production design like the store set up
with everything being made of candy and
chocolate was a pretty crazy set piece
I thought. Also visual effects was
impressive especially Hugh Grant's
Oompa-Loompa character Lofty. You see him
in the trailer but its way better when you
see him on the big screen how they did that
so seamlessly was I thought really cool.
Like I said the music was great there is
a mix of new and old songs the dance
choreography was I thought really well
done and everyone in those big numbers
deserves some praise.
The acting was great in this too
Timoth茅e Chalamet who played Willy Wonka
was I thought very perfect for this role
and absolutely channeled Gene Wilder
while playing a younger version of that
character I could see this younger
version of Wonka growing into the
Gene Wilder version of the character
the movie had quite a few funny moments
There were a few running jokes in this
especially one that involved
Keegan-Michael Key as a somewhat bumbling
Chief of Police who gets fatter every time you
see him thanks to his chocolate addiction
and also Mr.Bean himself Rowan Atkinson
also makes makes an appearance as a somewhat
crooked Father Julius.
but like I said I thought this was a great
movie and actually enjoyed it more then the
original movie actually. So if your a fan
of the original movie I would say give this
a watch. Its fun, bright and very sweet
just like the chocolate that flows through it.
oh also there is a lil thing that plays during
the credits with
Hugh Grant's Oompa-Loompa character

Of course with our viewing of
The Marvels there was collectable goodies!!
They had cups and buckets
I was wondering if they were going to
have some Goose plushies which would have been
fun because who wouldn't want their very own
Flerken but sadly they didn't
so we just picked up the cup and bucket.
Now we are going to do things a lil bit
differently from now on becasue no more
pictures we have video now so you can
see things in better detail (hopefully)
The buckets of course were metal and
embossed/stamped out ones that we
gotten before.
The bucket is very similar to
all the other ones we have been
getting.
It has the movie logo
on the front and
of course all 3 of the
Marvels:
Captain Marvel, Ms.Marvel
and Photon.
the bucket is nice and also
has a nice purple on the inside.
Now as for the cups
they are very similar to the one we
got for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
its really nice and surprisingly glossy
they usually have like a texture to them but this
one is super smooth.
It鈥檚 one of the more smaller midsize ones
it doesn鈥檛 say how big it is but I鈥檇 say its
320z on the bottom(which is like 946ml or so?)
on the front
It again has all 3 women on it and
the movies title near the bottom
As for the topper they did have
a choice of all 3 women
and normally I would have gotten
Captain Marvel but I have her
on the actual Captain Marvel cup
so I picked Ms.Marvel for this one
So I was super happy to get these
of course.

So yeah we went to finally see Trolls Band Together
(Trolls3) earlier this week and I think that might have been
the last day it was playing being we were the only 4 people
there for the evening showing lol
also there was some collectable goodies which you
can see hear about here.
But as for the movie itself I thought it was great
I do enjoy the Trolls movies I went to see the first
one and we had to watch the second one online at home
because of covid so I was of course interested in
going to see this one. I think they are fun,
silly and at times hilarious they also have some
of that weird randomness that will make you
laugh as well. They are also musicals in away
and do have a amazing soundtrack.
I feel they are pretty much feel good movies
that anyone can enjoy.
Now in this one they expand more on the Trolls
world and introduce other types of characters
who live there. They introduce these like
puppet/muppet type creatures that for some reason
to me felt and looked extremely horrifying
I was seriously like WTF?!? I don't know why
I think it was just the way they looked in animation
and it looked a bit off. They then had these like
Human type characters they weren't fully human of course
but they looked human in a way their look reminded
me of another type of toy I don't remember what they
are called I can see them in my head but can't
think of their name? They were like bendy
with the thin arms and legs? Thats what they
looked like. Anyway they are the movies main
villains and they are named Velvet and Veneer
(Voiced by Amy Schumer and Andrew Rannells
this was a good roll for Amy Schumer being
you couldn't see her face lol)
The basic story is at the first they are
getting ready for the wedding of
their friends Bridget and Gristle
when Branch's long forgotten brother
John Dory who returns looking for help
to save their other brother Floyd from
the evil Velvet and Veneer who are draining
him of his life force and talent
so they can be rich and famous pop stars.
Branch and Poppy agree to help him and
they go on another wild musical adventure
to reunite the rest of the brothers and
once again get the "Band Together"
known as "Brozone" in order to save
their brother and stop the impostors
Velvet and Veneer.
Now the animation,voice acting
and music and pretty much everything is
amazing this! and I feel that it was great
to expand more on this world and the Trolls
Also not only that but the story of
Velvet and Veneer reminds me kind of
like the whole Milli Vanilli thing that
happened I wouldn't surprised if that
inspired these characters and this story
it just seemed similar to me.
but yeah the movie is lots of fun and
funny and weird at times and it is what
you should expect from the Trolls series
it has alot of boyband jokes and references
and is just a great movie.
so if you loved the other ones I would
say you would love this one too
so give it a watch if you want
Also there is a lil mid credits scene
too so don't miss that

One thing we look for when we go away on trips and stuff
is we look at gaming things and see if there is anything
that we want for a good price. I didn't see anything
for Playstation that I wanted to get but GameStop did
have select Switch games on sale!
so I bought my very first Switch game!
so I got The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
brand new for $50! which I thought was a great price!
they had some other ones too like I think
Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing I think?
but I happily picked the Zelda one
and for that price you can't go wrong!

I also picked up Freakazoid! Season 1
on DVD. They didn't have Season 2
which kinda sucks.. I was surprised
to see the Season 1 so I grabbed it up
I'll probably have to look on Amazon
or ebay for a Season 2. I have the
Series digitally but its good to have
it physically also being I am a
physical media type of girl.

here is some Playstation Merch that I found in the eletronics
department of Wal-Mart! A lil Astro's Playroom plush!
he is about I'd say about 6 inches or so and he is super cute!
the only thing is he was a bit pricey being he was like
$20 with tax. which I do think is a bit much for him
but I got him anyway being I liked him so I was happy.

So we went to see the new horror movie The First Omen
which is a prequel to the 1976 movie The Omen.
I do like the original movie and the remake as well
we went to see The Omen remake on opening night
June 6, 2006 (thats right 6/6/06) now were I thought the
original one and the remake were good the others weren't
that good Damien: Omen II was alright and the 3rd
Omen III: The Final Conflict was just plain awful
especially the ending. I remember vaguely there was a 4th one
but also some failed TV projects too.
but being The Omen is a interesting franchise
I wanted to see this one. I can say I wasn't disappointed
as I mentioned it is a prequel to the original movie
and focuses on the character of Margaret (played
by Nell Tiger Free) who is going to become a nun
and if brought to Rome to serve the church but while
there she encounters overwhelming darkness and learns
the secrets of her past and ultimately becomes the mother
to the antichrist who is known as Damien in the original movies.
Now I can say that this was very scary there were a
few good jumps in it though but ultimately it is just very
creepy and has alot of disturbing imagery but over all
I think it totally captures the feel, heart and soul
of the original movie. I feel that it was shot and
written with so much love for the original 1976 movie.
The music is a big part of it too and you can
tell they didn't want to change it to much
from the original score. I feel they wanted this
movie to be perfectly matched to the original one
like to the point it feels that this was made
in the 70s and you can watch this one and
then watch the original and it should feel like
it hasn't skipped a beat like the original is
actually a sequel to this.
There is alot of things that are totally
Omen related in it visual style and some of the
things that happen are reminiscent of the original movies
the hanging scene gave me chills because it is
very reminiscent and almost identical to the one
in the 1976 movie. Also the scene where the
guy get cut in half is a really cool visual
effect in this and your like "oh wow!"
but other then that the acting was pretty
great and I thought the movie was over all
really good and it is the perfect set up
for the original movie it even has a
bit of a spine tingling ending.
but even with the ending it does leave
you with some questions tho..
but over all it was good and if you
enjoyed the original movie I would
highly recommend it.

the WWE Ultimate Edition Asuka
much like the Ronda Rousey I picked
up a few years ago the figure is very detailed
and I love how it comes with the oni mask
and her furry jacket too!
I don't think there is alot of Asuka
maybe 3-4? but if you are looking to get one
this is the one you should get!
