I knew that as shit went down in Gaza with the Palestinians being made to look like the monsters.

When they are the victims, the oppressed being murdered by the oppressive military aparteid state of Israel.

I knew it wouldn't take long for the racism and Islamaphobia in the world, especially in the west to skyrocket.

...I was not prepared for it to kill a 6 year old.

In Chicago, Joseph Czuba, the landlord of the property was welcomed in by the child's mother, Hanaan.

Declaring he was "angry at her for what was happening in Jerusalem."

Hanaan, who's a Palestinian Muslim said "let's pray for peace."

He proceeded to choke her and than stabbed her, at least a dozen times.

She ran to the bathroom and called 911.

When she got out he had located and fatally stabbed her son, Wadea.

Stabbing him 26 times.

Hanaan is in hospital in serious condition.

All this because they were Palestinian Muslims.

Because he was angry at what was happening in Jerusalem... She said let's pray for peace and he stabbed her.

All because they were Muslim and the Israeli conflict was happening... that was that bastards reasoning for killing a child.

For stabbing this child, 26 times.

For stabbing his mother, at least a dozen times.

And they weren't strangers to him, they had lived in that house for 2 years.

Muslims, Palestinians all around the world but especially in the west... Be careful.

Be mindful of the people around you, especially if they are Israeli supporters.

What's even more angering about this genocide is that we literally can't be too aggressive in how we show our support. Like if we actually had fought against police and maybe directly did somethinf against our governments, the world would immediately turn on Palestine. The bare minimum of aid they get would immediately be blacklisted and the government and media would further turn away from the truth. They'd focus on the violence of our resistance, every headline would immediately label this "attack on israel, anti-semetism on the rise due to israel-hamas war" (because they can't even name it what it truly is)

To support an occupied people and fight back in the same way that they do against this - using their language of violence - it would mean that the world would truly stop caring. But during protests for Israel, if they got violent against us or the governments and policing around, it wouldn't make headline.

The world is RUN by zionists. Our resistance and deviance from the original method of protesting this genocide would mean that the muslim people would further be reduced to figures of terror and their victimisation would grow tenfold.

Because to the occupiers, victimisation in instances they are NOT a victim is easier. Because the only thing they know is to destroy, but only they can do it themselves.

for those wondering why i have been mostly quiet regarding israel and palestine: most of the pro-palestine stuff i come across is dismissive of hamas' horrors, blatantly antisemetic in parts, and generally conflates the israeli population with their government. or worse, treats them as a monolith; it is true that there are many israelis mocking the people their soldiers are destroying. it is NOT true that all of israel doesn't care and is just totally cool with what's going on. i will share what i find of israel's atrocities, but i will not make my jewish followers feel unsafe for shit they had nothing to do with. most of the stuff i've seen that *does* acknowledge the horror is jewish bloggers who have spent much of their life advocating for palestine, now having to struggle against antisemetics coming to them, furious that they DARE to be upset at the lost israeli lives. as though they are not allowed to mourn for both sides. as though they are not allowed to be horrified by what has happened; that they can ONLY be worried for palestine and how the attack was the perfect excuse for israel to double down. i refuse to send even more hatred their way by spreading their grief further into the void; you never know Exactly who's following your follower's followers. i am glad, at least, that nobody i follow was outright celebrating. but i know that people WERE, and now they're trying to act like that never happened. so incase this wasn't clear, cheering on the deaths of Israelis does not fucking help palestine.
