HITOVI 19. SLOBODNE ZONE - OD PECOLDA DO ALMODOVARA

19. Filmski festival Slobodna zona biće održan od 31. oktobra do 5. novembra u Beogradu, Novom Sadu, Nišu i Kragujevcu.

Šezdeset tri filma iz 38 zemalja, raspoređena u 13 programskih celina, doneće teme o kojima se ne priča glasno, postaviće nezgodna pitanja, dirnuti u konvencije i pokrenuti debate.

Crveno nebo (Afire / Roter Himmel) Jedan od najcenjenijih i najplodnijih autora današnjice, Nemac Kristijan Pecold (Undine, Tranzit, Feniks, Barbara) smestio je radnju svoje prve komedije-melodrame u letnjikovac na Baltičkom moru. Tu borave Leon i Feliks, Leon da bi završio svoju drugu knjigu, a Feliks fotografski portfolio. Njihove planove za radno leto remete drugi stanari kuće, Nađa i Devid, bezbrižni i puni života. Leona to izuzetno iritira, dok se Feliks brzo prilagođava njihovom dokoličarenju. Dodatni nemir unosi zažareno crveno nebo koje na njih izručuje pepeo okolne šume u plamenu. Širenje požara rasplamsava i emocije među ovom četvorkom. Kristijan Pecold rekao je da su mu inspiracija bili filmovi Eriha Romera, priča „Kuća s mezaninom” Antona Čehova i komedija „Što te mama pušta samu?” Pitera Boganoviča. Za „Crveno nebo” nagrađen je Srebrnim medvedom - Velikom nagradom žirija na 73. Berlinskom festivalu.

Nula kalorija (Club Zero) Austrijska rediteljka Džesika Hauzner (Mali Džo) snimila je dramu-triler sa Mijom Vašikovskom u ulozi nastavnice elitne škole koja uspeva da ubedi svoje učenike kako je odbijanje hrane revolucionaran i važan čin. „Htela sam da dam širu sliku našeg društva i njegovih slabih tačaka kada je u pitanju briga o deci. Zanimljivo je koliko su roditelji (ne)spremni da preuzmu odgovornost za svoju decu, već je prebacuju na nastavnike”, izjavila je Džesika na Kanskom festivalu, gde se ovo ostvarenje nadmetalo za Zlatnu palmu.

Flašaroši Reditelj Nemanja Vojinović sedam godina snimao je dokumentarac u Vinči, na jednoj od najvećih deponija u Evropi. Iznad arheoloških slojeva najznačajnije praistorijske civilizacije danas rade sakupljači plastičnih flaša. U ovom dokumentarnom vesternu, kako ga je reditelj opisao, pratimo poslednje dane te zajednice pre nego što će i njihovi poslovi postati deo prošlosti. Film je nagrađen Srcem Sarajeva za najbolji dokumentarac.

Džoan Baez: Ja sam buka (Joan Baez: I Am Noise) Dokumentarac koji potpisuju tri autorke, Karen O’Konor, Miri Navaski i Mejv O'Bojl, prati ikonu američke folk muzike na poslednjoj turneji, uz do sada nepoznat materijal poput privatnih video-zapisa, dnevničkih zabeleški, snimaka sa psihoterapeutskih seansi i umetničkih dela. Rezultat je jedan intenzivno intimni film sa neočekivanim uvidima, slomljenim srcima i dozom humora. Džoan bez zadrške priča o svojoj vezi sa Bobom Dilanom, angažovanjem u pokretu za građanska prava, saradnji sa Martinom Luterom Kingom, svojoj muzici i, uopšte, svom neverovatnom životu.

Čudna strana života (Extraña forma de vida / Strange Way of Life) Slobodna zona svečano će biti zatvorena 5. novembra u Cineplexx Galeriji premijerom najnovijeg filma Pedra Almodovara, polusatnog kvir vesterna sa Itanom Hokom i Pedrom Paskalom u glavnim ulogama. Paskal igra Silvu, kauboja koji posle 25 godina dolazi u pustinju da poseti svog bivšeg ljubavnika, šerifa Džejka (Hok). Nakon strastvene noći, Silva mu kaže da razlog njegove posete nije samo romantičan. Almodovar je izjavio da mu je ovaj film omogućio da istraži „uspavan” američki žanr kojem se divio izdaleka još od najranijeg uzrasta. „Ovo je teritorija koju Holivud još nije do kraja istražio, iako je vestern prepun muških likova. Žanr koji nam je dao toliko klasika i te kako ima prostora za kvir varijante koje čekaju da budu snimljene”, poručio je španski autor, koji je na kostimima sarađivao sa modnom kućom „Iv Sen Loran”.

Vizuelni identitet ovogodišnjeg festivala je svojevrsni omaž Luisu Bunjuelu, jednom od najvećih autora u istoriji filma i njegovom debitantskom remek-delu „Andaluzijski pas“.  „Ovim ostvarenjem Bunjuel je najavio svoj dolazak na filmsku scenu na kojoj je zauzeo istaknuto mesto. Njegovi lucidni radovi odavali su utisak društvene angažovanosti, posebne duhovitosti i ironije, velike empatije za svoje junake i provokativnosti koja nikoga u publici nije ostavljala ravnodušnim“, istakao je Rajko Petrović, direktor i jedan od selektora Slobodne zone.

U Kinoteci će, tokom festivala, biti prikazana retrospektiva Bunjuelovih filmova. Ostala ostvarenja biće raspoređena u programskim linijama: Međunarodna selekcija, Regionalna selekcija - Horizonti Balkana, EU zona promena, Ženska linija, Zelena zona, Zona bez granica, Prva dva koraka, EU Teen zona, Slobodna zona i Cineplexx, The Future Is Here i KinoKauch.

Festival će 31. oktobra svečano otvoriti dobitnik Srebrnog lava u Veneciji, Zlo ne postoji Rjusukea Hamagučija, u mts Dvorani u 19 sati. Ulaznice za svečano otvaranje, po ceni od 800 dinara, u prodaji su na biletarnicama mts Dvorane i servisa Tickets.rs, kao i onlajn preko sajta mts Dvorane, odnosno Tickets.rs. Istoga dana film će biti prikazan na otvaranju festivala u Nišu i Novom Sadu.

I ove godine, deo filmskog programa moći će da pogleda publika u celoj Srbiji, jer će platforma KinoKauch biti domaćin onlajn Slobodne zone od 6. do 19. novembra.

Ovogodišnji festival podržali su potprogram MEDIA programa Kreativna Evropa, Ministarstvo kulture Republike Srbije, Rekonstrukcija Ženski fond, Sekretarijat za kulturu Grada Beograda, Gradska uprava za kulturu Grada Novog Sada, Filmski centar Srbije i Francuski institut.
