I used to make aesthetics for my characters all the time, so here's some for the Stage Crew! I might end up changing the name, but I chose it because they all have hobbies that in some way relate to performing arts: Ballad dances, Beak plays the flute, and Merdith sews (she's made some of Ballad's performance outfits).

Also, I picked a line from "Good As Hell" by Lizzo for each of them as I feel they can all relate to some part of it!

Beak ~ "Got to take a deep breath, time to focus on you, all the big fights, long nights that you been through"

Before befriending the Stage Crew, Beak was "friends" (aka the minion of) Ethan Zilgo, the Knight's Acadmy's biggest jerk. Beak still has a lot of resentment towards him, due to everything Ethan put him through and made him do, but they're slowly learning to let that go, although they still have anger and want revenge. I chose an owl for Beak because they represent the ability to see past deception and illusions and death/change. Beak has learned to become very good at reading people and making calculated decisions, and their old self "died" when they rejected Ethan.

Beak is both a talented fencer and excellent flute player, as their parents had money to pay for lessons in both and encouraged their pursuit of hobbies in which awards could be won. While not as bad as the Richmonds, Beak's family does feel as if due to their economical status success is expected of the members of their family. Beak doesn't mind, as they very much enjoy both, although they often find others underestimate them in fencing due to the fact that they aren't as muscular or quick as the others.

Merdith ~ "Boss up and change your life, you can have it all, no sacrifice"

Merdith has spent her life surrounded by people that respect and deeply love her. She saw how this impacted her, and thus does her best to love and protect her friends and loved ones. She's the kind of person that always says "I love you" when a call or conversation with someone she knows ends. Merdith has a bear because they represent grounding forces, courage, and strength. Merdith has physical strength from working on her family's farm, but has greater mental and emotional strength. She is not easily influenced by others and is confident being herself. She is the "mom friend" of the group, keeping the others reigned in and reminding them of realities.

Merdith is skilled at fashion designe, and greatly values buying secondhand or sewing your own clothes over labels. One of her favorite things to do is find clothing at secondhand stores, then take it apart and make something new out of it. She has the talent to make a living out of it, but for now she's content with making her friend's outfits and creating better armor that allows more freedom of movement.

Ballad ~ "You know you a star, you can touch the sky, I know that it's hard but you have to try"

Ballad is very, very good at covering up hirs low self confidence with flamboyance and general fabulousness. Ze loves spoiling hirs friends, as ze believe it's the best way to keep them. Ze're the one to pull up outside your house with movie star sunglasses perched on hirs nose, declaring that the two of you are going shopping. However, with Merdith and Beak ze have lost the fear of needing to buy their friendship, as ze know they accept hir fully. I chose a butterfly for Ballad because they represent finding joy in life and metamorphosis. Since Ballad began attending the Knight's Academy, ze has been exposed to life outside a private dance studio, and has gone from being too scared of judgement to interact to enjoying being the center of attention. As is very good at bringing hirself and others enjoyment.

Ballad is a dance prodigy, and was skilled enough to start pointe by age 8, although hirs mother only allowed hir to dance in pointe shoes for a maximum of 30 minutes until age 11 so they would not ruin the growth of hirs feet. Ze have been on a competition team before, but quit to attend the Knight's Academy. Ballad's biggest dream is to find a way to fully incorporate dance into hirs battle training, forming an entirely new form of fighting.

Merdith is Ballad's closest friend at the Knight's Academy. She grew up on her family's farm, and while she isn't the best at tending to crops she is fairly good with the cattle. In fact, she first discovered her talent for fashion designe when she decided to knit sweaters for the calves to wear when outside during the winter. Merdith's family was very accepting of her gender, perhaps partially because prior to it her parents only had boys. Being the baby sister, her brothers can be very overprotective, but she doesn't mind it.

Merdith was given an invitation to the Knight's Academy when they were low on students and the monsters first returned. They figured as a farm girl she would at least have muscles, and her brothers were too old to attend. However, Merdith doesn't really care for fighting and much prefers diplomacy. Instead, she is using her lessons to designe better outfits and armor for the knights. She has already designed and sewn a unitard for Ballad that provides ample protection while still allowing hir to move freely.

Merdith is the voice of reason to combat Ballad's impulsive nature. One is rarely seen without the other, as they balance each other out. Ballad is flamboyant, while Merdith tends to be content to remain in the background.

Merdith is very much a girl next door type, tending to be modest and kind. She is a fashion prodigy and smarter than most consider her to be.
