Can you write a funny little TFA MegOP thing where they're already together. Lets say cuddling in their berth, and suddenly Optimus has a thought.

"How did we even get together?"

"Hm?"

"No, I'm being serious. How did it happen? You are.. were? A war criminal. I put you in jail. How are we together right now?"

"..."

LIKE. IDK IT WAS FUNNIER IN MY HEAD. SO EITHER 1. Some otherworldly being (a fanfic writer) manipulated them and the world around them. Making them be together. But now the writer is gone after giving them their happily ever after.. But the characters revert back to how they were in cannon. Vaigely knowing what allowed them to get to this point, but not really understanding anymore how or why?

Or 2. Optimus forgot and wants Megatron's pov on how they got together. Either way, I know that even if you write little for this, it will still be hella entertaining :3

Believe me, I would have done in other circumstances, and this idea has a LOT of potential! I am a sucker for the "how did we even end up here???" trope too, but you would either have to wait a long(immense) amount of time ahahah.

Hey if you want to write it yourself I could give you a couple ideas or advice if you'd like :3, otherwise I'd say see if there are other writers who take requests or commissions, I could redirect you to a couple of them :)

For now I can at best give you this little drabble for the second idea since it's really cute:

"It just happened"

"Wake up" Megatron felt someone flicking at his nose and then shaking him when the action gave no response.

"Wake up!" This time that someone went for the helm, the bang of the collision rang in the otherwise quiet room.

"What?" Megatron opened one optic and glared at his disturber, Optimus Prime.

"How did we end up together?" He asked with an almost accusing expression

"Huh?" What did he even mean by that

"You heard me" Optimus scoffed

"What like... you don't remember?" He started going back with his own memory banks and backups, He would have been more worried about Optimus apparent amnesia if he weren't struggling to find an answer to that absurd question.

"Do you?" Optimus crossed his arms

Megatron stayed silent for a while... he couldn't pinpoint the exact moment they had become a thing. Centuries, no, millennia of circling around one another after signing the peace treaty, spending more and more time together, fighting, bantering, provoking each other, speaking about personal topics, binding while annoying each other to death had, at some point, led them to fall in berth together.

They had kept falling into each other's berth since then... and now they were here.

So there wasn't really an answer to that question, not a typical one at least.

Megatron cleared his vocalizer "I... I guess it just happened" he answered at last.

Optimus seemed to reflect on this answer before humming "are you happy with this?"

Megatron though about it, he really was, sure there were invisible limits they never actually crossed but at this point they lived like a conjunx couple, minus the status and the spark merging... but Meagtron found the though of Sharing his spark with Optimus not to be as dreaded as he anticipated... he almost- longed for it.

"Yeah..." he said smiling softly and bringing the smaller mech closer to him "a lot" and his servos started shifting over his lover's frame delicately almost in worship.

"Do you want more?" The question could be interpreted in two different ways and Megatron wanted to answer yes to both.

"When it comes to you I always want more" he answered looking at Optimus, his lover's gaze was so bright and full of love he felt like it would melt the metal of his frame.

"I... also want more. Everything." he whispered with his lips ghosting over Megatron's.

Megatron closed the distance between them and kissed him. "And you will receive it"

If we put ye olde cybertronian into context then Megatron had Megatronus with a masculine -us suffix that he dropped. But there's also the diminutive-us. If we assume transformers are able to "read" the glyphs used in speech, then they can tell the difference.

So every time Orion Pax called out "Megatronus"(affectionate) it's the modern day equivalent of calling out "Megsy/meggy/megatronie" and you can probably do the same with Optimus, though it's more likely Megatron would use the possessive-us.

So you can have a conversation between the two that sounds normal but to cybertronians reads like the most syrupy garbage ever.

Literally, the "but pookie(megatronus), you promised not to hurt them."

"Not here, kitten whiskers(optimus), Daddy will discuss it later."

Megop headcanon that the other high ranking Decepticons officers don't respect Optimus but not because he's an Autobot. Rather because he can barely fly and doesn't know anything about aerodynamics, wind patterns, or atmospheric conditions. He's good as a commander, okay with planning battles as long as he only plans out ground attacks, and great at combat. But he doesn't know to handle crosswinds, he's not equipped to enter or exit atmospheres, and he sucks at landing. Megatron knows all of this and is trying to help Optimus with his flying skills and doesn't allow Optimus's shortcomings to be brought around him. Bringing up Optimus's lack of abilities is something done far away from both of them and often over a bit of high grade while bemoaning how someone had to go catch the mech for the third time that week before he went face first into the ground.

Her time on the Nemesis won't be exactly like that (to JA332 and Makeshift it is) but it would not surprise me if she does become a ghost story in a few centuries. Spread by the murmurs of surviving vehicons, tales of the Spirit of Vengence that swing between questionable mischief and horrifying justice.

That reputation would definitely be cemented by RID; they say if you hold a flame in the dark and say 'fleshbag' three times, something will come to devour the light, spark or fire.

Others say that if one hops twice, claps their servos thrice, spins, and says 'oink,' some ridiculous event will happen in your vessel that will eventually result in good luck.

The original vehicons leave energon in the vents. Their hope isn't to get or lose something. It's for nothing at all. Nothing, because nothing is better than the unknowable something.

Alternative AU (or fully aware Ashlyn) would pull stunts like that for entertainments sake, but current Ashlyn would be more of an accidental terror. Miscommunication terror. You-walked-in-at-the-wrong-time terror.

Not her fault if she sings when she's scared, or if the only song in her head is Hide and Seek, or if she is currently singing it in the vents where her voice carries and whereisthatsoundcomingfrom?!?!?

Not her fault if she's hangery cause no one has fed her.

Not her fault if no one looks up until a human drops from the ceiling and lands on someone's helm during her 5th escape attempt in the last 20 minutes.

Not her fault if she's talking out loud, mentally dissecting the plot and possible ways of damaging the ship should leverage be required. If only every other word is understandable, and the overall message is a creative and abstract design involving three separate ways to trigger explosions in the engine room and the likelihood of sweet-talking a sentient ship through life debts, revenge arcs, and programmed directives into supporting a two-person mutiny/takeover than that's the eavesdropper's problem.

Using MegOP to get out of interrogations, driving Soundwave insane, and that brief stint where she ran around covered in energon and blood? Yep. That was her fault.

Any way I’m starting out with hot rod/ Rodimus who would absolutely preen under the amount of attention he wold receive if he showed up in robot form now if he was in holoform he wold probably still get a good amount of attention but he wold love to see the comics that feature him and would totally talk peoples ears off about the quest (yes I’m ignoring how LL ended it was so sad) he wold definitely laugh at the shipping till he found megop or minimegs and then he wold just crash at how he never saw the hints but looking back it’s entirely possible. Also concerns Sunstreaker, who leaves the Autobots after a massive crisis of self.  - Last stanza concerns Prowl/Functionist Universe Jazz, basically Prowl telling F!Jazz that as long as they have the present, there’s still hope even if the future looks bleak. 

SEASON 5 Opening: Rain by SID (FMA: Brotherhood)

- Chosen because EVERYONE is a little fucked up and tired by this point.  - First two stanzas concern the 12 Primes, the reveal of what Unicron is and how they tie into all the terrible things the the system has done finally coming home to roost in an apocalyptic manner, so to speak.  - 0:28 to 0:32 played similar but much more benevolently w/the 10 Primes choosing their avatar/champion for the final battle.  - 0:13 to 0:18 for massive cast shot which combines Autobots AND Decepticons loyal to Megs who are, once more as they had in the beginning, fighting side by side.
