KDVR stated that the teenagers responded by running into a shed-like structure attached at the residence. According to the station, the resident claimed he was shot multiple times. "He heard gunshots coming from the shed and saw muzzle flashes directed in his direction. The resident returned fire. KDVR stated that the two teens were in the shed at the time of the gunfire. According to the station, both teens were shot and died on the spot. The other died in hospital. "This incident has tragic consequences. Two teenage boys have been killed and it is a tragic loss. Statistically, Sound Village got the best score on these exams

Now, we have no idea how many from each village were left after first exam

After second we got 1 team from Sand and Sound each and the rest from Leaf, mostly begginers which is very unrealistic

In the finals we got 9 genins: 3 from Suna, 1 from Oto and 5 from Konoha

So in percentages:

Grass/Kusa - 0%, notable genins are Orochimaru's temporary face (what the hell man, at least commit to the face you killed to obtain) and Karin, who got retconned into this bunch

Waterfall/Taki - 0% only representation in these exams were couple headbands during the written part, RIP

Rain/Ame - also 0%, looked really cool tho, but got reduced to guinea pigs for Gaara

Leaf/Konoha - 7% (20% by the second stage but three were spies, two knocked each other out and one almost killed their cousin so not very patriotic)

Sand/Suna - 10% (basically 1 team shown, 1 team got all the way, 1 team almost destroyed the village)

Sound/Oto - 33% (although they were aiming for something else and got killed in the process, very tragic), also 100% success rate after second part

In conclusion - Sound very efficient, deserved better

Leaf third, by default, because show is called Naruto and not Nameless-Ninja-from-Takigakure

1) It really is a shame that now that Hak is more calm and ready to talk, we got 0 Suhak screentime and yet we got plenty of Yona and SW screentime with their interactions having no substance at all since it's the usual Yona showing off her morale superiority. I don't understand why Kusa focuses so much on those two when Suhak is way more interesting.

2) what did we get from the Yona and SW exchange except Yona being her usual judgmental self. I feel like we won't be getting any Suhak content, at least not for a long time. Even when he is finally ready to talk to SW, Hak won't make a move because he is too afraid to cause trouble for Yona which is a shame.

3) I hate how even when he is finally ready to face SW, Hak is still putting Yona first. Like she seems to be fine with him being in jail and is focusing on Mei Nyan instead. So, I wish he as well would forget about her and try to reach out to SW.But that ain't going to happen because Yona is what defines Hak's character. so is  Hak as well magically tied to Yona ?

Dear anon, it is honestly sad that the mangaka uses the time Soo Won and Yona spend together so ineffectively. Neither of the two is willing to talk to the other. In Soo Won´s case this might make sense, but Yona?

Does she not wish to understand more of the circumstances that has led to the murder of her father, or the fact that she is the reincarnation of Hiryuu?

She merely accepts it and does not wish to communicate with people that might know more about it.

And if she is aware of some information she does not share it. The communication between Yona and Hak is nearly as sparse as the one between Soo Won and Yona.

In one way it is hilarious that Hak is the one that wishes to know more, but if he does try to gain information...he is put into a cell, where he stays faithfully and Yona also does not try to get her lover out of prison.

And the reason is supposed to be that Hak would be a danger to Soo Won...the guy who could have attacked Soo Won a couple of times already.

Let´s be honest: Even a healthy Soo Won would most likely lose if Hak really intends to kill him.

So it is hilarious that Hak is put into prison for that reason.

the Raid. - A Musical Assault

Here I am with a new band review in “Focusing on”! Today’s subject is a visual kei band, which always distinguished by a great mix of colors and sound. We’re talking about the Raid., formed on 2011 and composed by Sena (vo.), Bo-ya (gt.), Yuuha (gt.), former member of NeXuS and lilt, who replaced Yuta on 2012, Tenshi (ba.), former member of Plus Magic, who replaced Iori on 2016 and Kazhi (dr.). Their band name has not a precise meaning, but the word is a synonym of attack, where each song is like a challenge, making them not having a definite concept. Their genre is rock, with really energetic notes and roots from oshare kei, without neglecting maturer compositions. Their debut occurred on October 2011 with the first single Starry Heaven.

The lead-track, named Zero ~0~, features an energetic and really electronic sound, with pleasant vocals and a catchy rhythm; the song is about overcoming any limit, at any cost. It has been followed by the singles My Dear/Blue and Tsubasa (Wings), the first mini-album Feathers, the singles Ketsuraku Lover (Missing lover), Snow pledge, Judgement and Moment.

The title-track sees a more positive and melodic sound, along with electronic notes and a paced rhythm; the song is about stopping our lives to a meaningful moment. It has been followed by the second mini-album Alice. and the singles Raison d’etre, Period and Rebellion.

The title-track exalts more the extreme component of their sound, even with screamed parts, without changing it completely; the song is about a dream of revolution and change. It has been followed by the first album Ray, the singles Junketsu Piranha (Pure-blood piranha), Kurobara rondo (Black rose rondo), Shirayuki no saku koro ni (When the white lilies bloom), Yowamushi Monster (Wimp monster) and Mercari (reviewed here), the compilation Coupling Best -Yuuha and Bo-ya side-, the singles Yanderu kimi ni okuru uta (Song for you sick) and Re:born, the third mini-album Mikan (Unfinished), the singles Dead Xmas Party, Gomennasai (Sorry), Urameshiya (I curse you) and Seisan curry (Hydrocyanic acid curry), the fourth mini-album Omen, the singles Go Diva (False diva), Kagiana (Keyhole), Kago onna uta (Song of woman in cage), Otogiri kusa (Younger brother cuts the grass), Boku wa kaibutsu (I am a monster), Anomaly, Kabukichou rainy, Kamisama nande!? (Why God!?), Watashi kirei? (Am I beautiful?), Koroshitaru naru hodo dareka o aishita koto wa arimasu ka? (Have you loved someone enough to kill you?) and One night kareshi (Boyfriend for one night).

The title-track has a nostalgical style, fitting with the cheerful melody and the simple rhythm, for a quite pleasant ballad; the song is about a love-story lasting only one night.

In the visual kei scene most bands rely on the positive vibes and the strong colors, and the Raid. joins this group, even if they get something unpredictable along with them. Each song carries up a new side of them, going from extreme to light in a single hit, adding electronic notes for making the melody more flowing and listenable to everybody and nice vocals, not fearing to be heavier when needed. the Raid. is the kind of band which you don’t hear much about, but they are still a relevant presence in the visual kei scene, making it even less boring, thanks to wide choice of songs in their repertory. If you are a fan of their world, you will look forward for their next work, the single Kimipuri (You prince), coming out this July, which makes this summer even more colorful than expected.

Who might enjoy: who loves colorful and energetic bands, made of fun and positive vibes.

Recommended songs: Zero ~0~, Tsubasa, Moment, Period, Rebellion, Mercari and One night kareshi.

FLIPS / TRICKS / MOTIVATION

Bryan Scagline is a player, motivator, designer, and all around do it all dude.  Pretty much everything you have seen recently form Kendama USA is the work of Bryan. Instagram, team edits, promo graphics, tours, and more. 

Bryan recently dropped a video titled “flips and tricks” where he flexes with the new KUSA flip series. 1 design, 2 colors , INVERTED to make 2 dope damas.

  So on top of all the work he is doing for kusa dude still goes out and bangs out an edit.  THAT TAKES MOTIVATION.  I had a chance to get some questions to Bryan about motivation. peep the knowledge below and watch the new edit. 

Jake -Do you have any nick names?

Bryan - SCAGSSSS. Ironically enough SCAGS was my dads nickname growing up as well! My younger brother doesn't get called the family nickname for some reason lol, but with out asking, the nickname has stuck itself to me! Such a good feeling walking into a jam and just hearing people show love - “SCAAAGS!!” Love ya’ll  <3_

-If you were to turn your latest video “flips and Tricks” into a pie graph what would take up most of the pie?

30% promotion, 70% swag. _

-Making a kendama edit takes a lot of skills.  Cine, Editing, Kendama, Location, Graphics, promotion, and thinking of tricks. Which of these categories have you spent the most time practicing?

Thank god you, Colin, Jero all knew how to work cameras and capture the cine film / editing LOOK of kendama. That's what got me on the hook. Creating the tricks, landing them, finding the perfect locations, and the feeling of it all coming together is what keeps me going.

-“Kendama” is always changing. For players, business, communities, design, tricks, and events.  Whats your main motivation right now with kendama?

My main motivation for kendama is just to get it in front of more people. I LOVE first reactions. Before the spike. The initial curiosity of somebody stopping, approaching you, and asking “what is that!”  Having gotten to where I am with Kendama today is amazing. I will always have a voice and help guide kids, scenes, players in the right direction. I will always put the culture first and I will always share the history it has. Lastly, I aim to produce quality video and content that gets people pumped. I wanna give the feeling that YOU guys gave me when I first saw kendama. (And when I first saw Turner do the BB flip in the Japan 2012 video.) That shit changed my life. Seriously. I quit my job and I work for Kendama USA now lol. Kendama has literally changed the direction of my life. I blame Colin and Zack._

-To me your motivation shows in the new video “Flips and Tricks”.  it takes time to put a video like this together. Even if it only took you an hour to film all the tricks it's about the motivation to grab your cam and go out and bang out some tricks with the intention of motivating others.  How much does the feedback of others influence your motivation?

Droping a video is the best feeling. When you drop a video you’ve worked really hard on and everyone shows love / shares their favorite parts, omg. Thats the best. I legit get the chills just talking about it. I plan out the tricks, the kendamas used, the song that will be in the video, POV, follow cam, tripod, the angles, location, etc. I usually know what the video will look, sound, and feel like before I even string my kendama.

-Was there a time in your live where you had NO motivation? Also What pulled you out of the motivation dead zone?

Everybody gets in slumps. What I do to get out of it is - find one trick (or even a transition) that I'm feeling and just hone it, try it differently (penguin grip/ fast hand) ,and blow it up. If that isn’t working, I’ll dead ass do cup flow and go back to basics until I essentially find that 'AWE' moment and build from there. Plan out 3-6 tricks, b roll, boom. We back at it.

-Name one motivation tool that EVEYONE has access to and can use to get that BOOST of energy and motivation that makes you want to go out and get it?

THIS WORKS. I Promise. What I do to motivate myself when I feel like I suck - Go back and watch 1-3 Kendama videos that got you FIRED up back in the day. Find literally ONE trick you think is dope and alter it, make it harder, or add onto it! Find a clever way to tweak THAT trick and post it on insta. Don't apologize or type some bullshit “sorry this is all I could land” caption. Those are THE worst. Talk about how this trick inspired you and you wanna challenge somebody else! Before you know it, you’ll be lacing BETTER tricks and you’ll forget all about the slump… until it comes back. Then repeat. Lol

-Would you rather extreme armpit hair (Long and thick like you can’t wear short sleeve shirts because its busting out) or extremely lopsided nostrils (like pinky fit in the left and thumb fit in the right)?

WOW. Ummmmm I guess gimme the weird shnoz. If I can't move my arms, how will I lace fastest of hands?
