Topol was 5 years old and attending kindergarten at Tahoe Lake Elementary School when one of the film’s scouts chose her to audition. “They were looking for a particular look,” Reno resident Ginny Topol, BJ’s mother, told SFGATE. “She had dark brown eyes and brown hair, and the rest of the class was blonde and blue-eyed. They asked if I would bring her by for an interview.”
BJ said she auditioned for Coppola and Pacino, going up against “all these cute girls who had like their hair done and these dresses on with stage moms,” she recalled. “They were like real actresses.”
The Topols said that Coppola wasn’t looking for a professional actress to play Mary Corleone. Once BJ got the job, she spent weeks living and interacting with Pacino and Keaton during the day at the home they shared on the Fleur du Lac property prior to filming.
“My mother would drop me off in the morning, and I’d come home at night,” she said. “I spent the whole day playing family with Al and Diane. I thought my name was Mary. It was kind of a little bit of a dream world.”
“They were so, so kind. You know, Diane Keaton was so loving and so warm. I remember Al as my dad was super stressed because he was in character. Back then, I didn’t really get it. He had that brooding look. I remember having lunch and wondering why he wasn’t talking more.”
Ginny Topol said that by the time they started filming, her daughter was very comfortable with her actor parents, and especially with Coppola, who took a shine to her on the set. “There were never any tears, never ‘I don’t want to go!’ — just a really lovely experience,” Ginny said. “But it’s not all fun and games for the actors. It’s hours and hours and hours and retakes and sitting around when the sun wasn’t shining.”
“I spent a lot of time with Diane Keaton. I felt like her older sister,” Ginny continued. “I couldn’t say one bad thing. Al Pacino was not — I didn’t spend any personal time with him. He was a very intense character, very into his acting and, you know, very dark, and that’s what the movie was. He didn’t visit with the people on set, but he was very kind to my daughter — and that was all that mattered.” (x)

Kay's abortion is what cemented her as a great character because even though maybe there was no intention behind it and the overwhelming male response to that scene is anger, it gives a female character agency for the first time in those movies and it's a great commentary on what it meant to be a woman in that context and time.
Everything leading up to that scene: Kay being frustrated with Michael not keeping up the promise of legitimizing the business, the shooting that put her and her kids in danger, (deleted scenes of Anthony trying to get close to mobsters his father received at home and Kay being distressed and taking him away), Michael concerned about the gender of a fetus when hearing his wife had a miscarriage because what is a baby girl worth in this world?, not talking to his wife when arriving home, taking her to court with him expecting her to be dumb or submissive enough to not care about how things went and what happened behind the scenes.
Then, the abortion scene when she tells him she got a SON killed because she would not put more children into the world to be turned into monsters. "Look what happened to our son" because that's what is meant to happen to boys in that world. Girls are expandable and boys are conditioned.
Kay was right. Kay got herself out and gave her children a real childhood, real chances to be something they wanted, away from the horrors of the life their father lived in. Kay saved herself and her children, but Michael pulls them back into danger anyway because that's the life.
He says he was a lot like Anthony, because once he wanted nothing to do with the family business. In a way, Mary was a lot like her mother too, because she remains close to that world out of love. But Michael never gets away like Tony did, Mary never leaves like Kay.
Mary takes a bullet meant for her father. She pays for her father's sins. What is a baby girl worth in this world?

Yo-kai Watch Incorrect Quotes, part 1
Mary-Lou: I'm gonna get myself some soup.
Nate: Be careful not to burn yourself, it's hot.
Mary-Lou: Pfft, I-I won't burn myself!
*thirty seconds later*
Mary-Lou: I burned myself.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Buck, confused and scared, holding Hailey close to him: W-Watcha got there...?
Nate, petting an ostrich: A smoothie.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Justin: I think this might be a bad idea...
Wyatt: Don't start thinkin' on me now!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Justin, nervous: So uh, for this party and everything, do you, uh...
Sue-Ellen, sighing: You don't know how to dress for this, do you?
Justin, panicking: WHAT IS CLOTHES???
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nate, sniffing: Calm down, I'm probably not sick. It might just be allergies.
Sue-Ellen: Okay, tell me this: are you, like, really tired?
Nate: I have depression, what do you think?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nate, after challenging the Zenlightener and loosing for the 50th time: I CAN'T DO IT, HAILEY!
Hailey: I CAN'T EITHER!
Nate: I CAN'T FUCKING DO IT ANYMORE!
Buck: WELL, I'LL TELL YOU WHAT, YOU CAN EITHER GIVE UP NOW OR YOU CAN FIGURE IT OUT. BECAUSE WE CERTAINLY CAN'T DO IT WITH WITHOUT YOU, AND WE KNOW YOU CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT US!
Nate: I appreciate it.
Nate, gesturing to Zenlightener, who looks confused and scared: BUT LOOK AT WHAT WE'RE FUCKING DEALING WITH, GUYS!
Hailey, barely containing her laughter: Nate-
Nate: YOU GOTTA DRAW THE LINE SOMEWHERE!
Buck, failing to hold his laughter in as well: Nate, w-we gotta-
Nate: YOU GOTTA DRAW THE FUCKING LINE IN THE SAND, DUDES!
Nate: YOU GOTTA LOOK INSIDE YOURSELF AND SAY "what am I willing to put up with today"?
Nate, feral and foaming at the mouth, ferociously pointing at a horrified Zenlightener as Hailey and Buck look on dumbfounded while laughing: NOT FUCKING THIS!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hailey: We're kinda missing something, guys.
Wyatt: Cohesion?
Sue-Ellen: Teamwork?
Mary-Lou: A general sense of what we're doing?
Buck: And Nate ain't here.
Wyatt: Oh, and that, yeah.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nate, to the BBQ Squad: I'd die for you.
Wyatt: Then perish.
Justin: You will.
Mary-Lou: P-please don't!
Buck: Cool!
Sue-Ellen: I'd die for you first.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hailey, getting shot by Jessica during Laser Tag: I have been tricked, I have been backstabbed, and I might've quite possibly been bamboozled.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nate: Are you the big spoon or the little spoon?
Hailey: I'm a knife.
Buck, from across the room: She's the little spoon.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mary-Lou and Sue-Ellen: We're this close to falling in love with Nate.
Buck: Y-your fingertips are touching.
Mary-Lou and Sue-Ellen: Exactly.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Buck: Why's everyone so obsessed with top and bottom? Honestly, I'd just be excited to have a bunk bed!
Hailey:
Hailey, with a shit-eating grin: I'm gonna tell him.
Nate, smacking her upside the head: Don't you dare.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zenlightener, cowering in fear: WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!
Nate, Buck and Hailey standing in front of Zenlightener: *bites into their whole Kit-Kat Bars like a group of heathens with shit-eating grins on their faces*
Zenlightener, with tears in his eyes: Please, stop!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Buck, to Sue-Ellen, gesturing to Whisper: How do you tell someone politely that you want to hit them with a brick?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Police Officer, cuffing Dorothy: You have the right to remain silent.
Dorothy: I choose to waive that right.
Dorothy: *screams like a fucking banshee*
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nate, to Whisper: My expectations are low, but they can go lower.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Buck, pointing at a wall: What color is this?
Dorothy: Gray.
Nate: Grey.
Buck turning to Hailey: Now tell them what color you think it is.
Hailey: Dark white.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Little Charrmer: Listen up, you little shits!
Little Charrmer, looking at Nate: Not you Nate, you're an angel and we're thrilled you're here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jawsome Kid, Dr. E. Raser and Nate: *screaming incoherently*
Little Charrmer, busting the door down: What's wrong, Nate?!
Dr. E. Raser: Wait, why are you asking Nate that when when Jawsome Kid and I are also here?
Agent Spect-Hare, peeking out from the broken door frame: Because Nate wouldn't scream unless it's an emergency. You two scream whenever you get the chance.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Computer: Please enter a password.
Jawsome Kid: *types in Nate*
Computer: Your password is too weak.
Jawsome Kid: How fucking DARE YOU-
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ghoulfather: What're you writin'?
Nate: The Government wants to know what kind of weapons we have in the house. I'm not letting them know, it's private information!
Hoaxy Coaxy, looking over Nate's shoulder: This just says "fuck around and find out" in calligraphy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Little Charrmer: I wasn't that drunk!
Nate: You colored my face with a highlighter because you said "I was important".
Little Charrmer, hugging Nate while crying: BECAUSE YOU ARE!

If Tom Hagen were in The Godfather Part III
Originally, the plot of Part III was to have focused on a falling out between Michael Corleone and his consigliere, Tom Hagen. This would have been a wonderful end to the trilogy, particularly considering the history of the two characters, bringing the entire saga full circle. After all, Hagen has “always seemed indispensable, perhaps even part of some inevitable, slowly ripening climax, a last bloody act where Hagen would play combatant in a final betrayal and clash with Michael.”
The film would have chronicled the fall of one of the greatest cinematic characters of all time, centering on a civil war between Michael Corleone and the last moral fiber left in the family, Tom Hagen. this is precisely the spectacular ending that the first two films had been hinting toward all along. Coppola would later lament in his DVD commentary that Duvall’s absence “was a profound loss … to this movie,” adding that the film seemed “incomplete” without the crucial inclusion of Tom Hagen.
So here is how I think the movie could’ve gone if Tom Hagen were in the movie.
Tom Hagen is the protagonist of the story who is trying to save Connie, Kay, Anthony and Mary from the family business
Michael is too far gone. Killing Fredo killed any semblance of goodness within his heart. He has become legitimized, but that did not stop the ruthlessness of the Corleone Family. It just made him untouchable.
Anthony is being groomed as Michael's successor, but Anthony wants out and Tom and Kay are trying to save him from Michael
Vincent is weaseling his way into Michael's good graces. Trying to be the son he wishes Anthony could be. And when Anthony gets out, Vincent is in
Michael's goal is to basically become Senator as Vito wished, but used his powers in the senate to make the Corleone Empire immune
Tom's goal is to expose Michael
Instead of Michael having all his enemies killed, it's a combination of Michael tying up loose ends and Tom orchestrating the arrests of everyone in Michael's inner circle
The movie would end with Michael killing Tom, Connie and unknowingly having Vincent kill Kay, Anthony and Marry
Michael ultimately wins by wiping all his enemies out, but at the cost of losing his family and that's where I think Part III should have gone if Tom was in Part 3

So say the last discussion between Fredo and Michael had happened prior to the final betrayal and all that pent up frustration had been aired, do you think anything might have changed?
hmm, this is an interesting question!
my gut is telling me no; just because the resentment of fredo went so deep because of michael's treatment & we've seen that michael losing other people in his life like kay after the divorce or tom after sending him to vegas, did little to dissuade michael from a course of action if he decided on it.
michael's strong will was both his strength & his downfall, because he became such a control freak that everything had to be in his control & following what he said so he could ensure the best outcome. this probably stemmed from santino's death, vito being shot & apollonia's accidental murder; instances that he probably felt could've been prevented in his traumatized thought process.
& this naturally clashes with fredo's own sense of masculinity as well as his deep set resentment that he was passed over not only for becoming don, but for any higher up roles in the family. with santino, there wasn't much of a hassle because santino was the eldest child, him becoming the don was to be expected. but when he was passed over for michael, the youngest child in becoming don & then passed over for tom, the adoptive son who wasn't even sicilian in a higher rank; of course that would bite at him. all of this then gave way to the abuse from moe green, the "shame" of being sent to las vegas, the fact he couldn't get sicilian wife & the wife he did have was a loud mouthed, unruly, racist wasp american who michael had to scold him into controlling, etc.
so even if they had been able to talk through all that resentment & avoid the events that led up to fredo's betrayal; i think even then there would only be another betrayal in the works. because fredo would never lose that resentment so long as their dynamic stayed as it was, & michael would never change his mindset until years later after losing his children in the divorce. even then, i don't think michael truly lost that desperate grasp for control in his life until the death of mary truly hammered it home that he would never be able to prevent these things, so long as he bore the sins of his past actions & his family.
but that's a whole other discussion on the religious motif in part 3 for me to have another day lmao.

Screen Speck's Top TV Episodes of 2022
Screen Speck’s Top TV Episodes of 2022
2022 gave us a stunning amount of brilliant television. Somehow, Severance and Abbott Elementary Season 2 (and most of Season 1!) aired in the exact same year, even though it feels like they aired in two different eras. With the recent merger of HBO Max and Discovery+ into an unnamed and definitely worse streaming service, we fear that 2022 may have been not only the very peak of Peak TV, but the…

(Want to be removed or added just say)
Y/N woke up in the morning without any improvement from the previous night. Not great. She checked her phone. Nothing from the four she really wanted to see. Her father messaged her. Which she will get back to later in the day, but nothing from Judgment Day.
Y/N sat up, grabbing a hoodie from her bag. She quickly puts it on and grabs a room key. She makes her way out the door, closing it quietly, not wanting to wake the three in the room.
She finds the room that Judgment Day was staying in. She puts her hand up to knock. She prevents herself from continuing. Was she really wanting to do this?
She looks. They should be up by now. Finn and Damian should be awake by now. Rhea and Dom would still be sleeping. Should she even try? Damian was so mad at her yesterday. She leaves with a sigh.
She suddenly hears a door open. It was the one she was just standing at. Finn stood by the door, gazing outside. She turns her head back around quickly.
“Y/N, what are you doing?” He questions.
She turns back around stuttering, “Uh, I just, uh, lost my room and I’m trying to find my room.”
“You’re on the wrong floor,” he replies.
“Oh gosh. Wow, that’s right, I am. Well, I might as well get going. Bye,” she blurts.
She starts heading to the elevator, but Finn stops her. Damian is at the door. Her breath hitches. She hears more feet making their way to the door. Now Dominik and Rhea are standing in front of Damian. Dom is rubbing his eyes and Rhea is just staring at the girl.
“We said we don’t want to see you for a while,” Rhea states.
“Do you know what that means?” Damian questions. Y/N doesn’t answer. She knows what it means, but she doesn’t want it to mean what it means.
“It means you leave us alone. We leave you alone,” he says, pushing Dom and Rhea into the room again. He grabs Finn’s hand and pulls him into the room. She just watches as the door closes. She shouldn’t have done that. She had a premonition about what would occur.
She looks at her phone. Opens it and messages her dad. She wants to call him.
“Hey dad,” she says.
“Hey sweetie, what’s up?” he replies.
“Do you think you’d be able to get me time off just until Monday?” she asks him.
“I can try. Is there a reason why?” Adam questions. Fully knowing the reason.
“Well, I want to talk about it to you at home please,” Y/N says.
“Okay, I’ll talk to the boss for you. I know how you hate speaking about personal things,” he says.
“Thank you so much. I love you, dad,” she says, walking to the elevator pressing the button. She wasn’t aware of the one person listening in on this conversation through the door that was just recently shut.
“I will start packing my things properly then,” Y/N says.
“Yeah okay. The girls will be excited to see you and so will I,” he says.
“Okay bye. I love you, dad,” she says, as the elevator door opens.
“I love you too, honey,” Adam says, hanging up the phone.
She walks into the elevator, happy. She’s so happy to see her family again. Not only that, it’s also the fact that the Judgment Day won’t see her. It’s like they wanted. She’s not bothering them. They aren’t bothering her.
“Oh, you guys are awake,” Y/N says, closing the hotel door.
“Where were you?” Iyo questions.
“Well, I went to talk to them. That didn’t go well. Now I’m going home till Monday. Dad is calling the boss because he’s more persuasive than I am. Soooo,” Y/N replies.
“We are happy you’re going home. You need it,” Bayley says. “We were actually going to talk about you taking time off.
“Okay, so can you guys drop me off at the airport after I order this ticket?” Y/N questions.
“Of course we can,” Dakota says.
“Oh, my god! You guys are so much help,” Y/N says. She gets her wallet out, ready to put her card in for the ticket.
“Okay, are you ready?” Bayley asks.
“Uh, yup. I’m ready to travel to see family,” she answers.
The four girls walk out of the room. Dakota helping with Y/N’s bags. Y/N was a bit nervous to go in the elevator. She might see Judgement Day. It’s not likely it’s earlier in the morning they don’t get out of their rooms yet.
“Hey, how many more house shows are there?” Y/N questions.
“I think two. Then we get to go home till Monday,” Dakota answers, while walking out of the elevator. Y/N nods.
The ride to the airport went by fast. Y/N liked that. The faster it went, the faster she got away from Judgement Day. The faster she gets to her family. Especially her sisters. She is missing them so much.
“Alright, thank you guys so much,” Y/N says, hugging them.
“Have fun going home,” they all say.
Y/N gives them an air kiss, turns on her heel, and walks away to the entrance. She gets her ticket and lets them have her big suitcase. Next was security. No matter what, she was always scared. It’s always overthinking like what if there was a bomb in her backpack that she didn’t know about?
After security, Y/N checks her phone and notices there are only 30 minutes left until she has to board the plane, so she makes her way to her gate. She was so ready to see her family.
It was like a blink of an eye and Y/N was at her destination. She was so excited to get her bag from the overhead bin, get her luggage, and go to her dad’s house. That’s exactly what she does.
She messages her dad telling him that she landed. He informs her that Beth and the girls don’t know that she’s home early, so it was like a surprise for them. The girls of course, were at school, so the first one she’d be surprising was Beth.
She grabs her keys out of her bag and manages to find her car in the whole wack load of them. She finds it easier with her dad being out on holidays to drive her own car and just pay for parking. If she is gone for longer than 3 weeks, she’ll get someone to drive her to the airport.
She got her bags into the car and hopped into the driver’s seat. She could barely contain her excitement. Yes, she sees them like every week, but it’s the same exact excitement.
She pulls into the driveway of her dad’s house and parks. She gets out of the car and just walks in the door. Her dad is in the kitchen. He hugs her tight. When they pull away, he points to the upstairs and mouths ‘office’.
She nods and slips upstairs. She locates the office and opens the door quietly. Beth is too focused on her work to even notice. She then wraps her arms around Beth’s shoulders. Beth jumps and turns around. She gasps and gets up to hug the girl properly.
“Why are you home so easily?” Beth questions.
“I had some thoughts, and I felt like I needed a break just until Monday,” she replies.
“I’m glad you’re here, honey,” Beth smiles. “Oh, the girls don’t know you’re here. You could pick them up from school.”
“I could,” Y/N exclaims.
“Yeah, just tell your dad you’re going to do it. I have to get back to work,” Beth says, sitting down on her chair again.
“Dad,” Y/N exclaims, dragging out the ’d’ while running downstairs.
“Don’t trip, but what?” he questions.
“Mom just suggested that I go pick up the girls,” she says.
“Oh yeah, go ahead,” he says.
“Is the pickup spot still the same?” she questions.
“Yes. Take my truck so they think it’s me,” he replies, handing her the keys.
She takes the keys and gives him a kiss on the cheek. It took around 15 minutes to 25 minutes to get to their school, so it’s best she leaves now. Y/N was so excited to pick up her sisters it feels like forever since she last saw them.
Y/N pulled up to her sister’s school. She parks in the parking spot and waits for her sisters. The doors to the truck open and her sisters hop in.
“Hi da..,” Lyric says before stopping.
“Oh my gosh, Y/N!!” Ruby exclaims.
“Hi girls,” she says, laughing.
“What are you doing home early?” Lyric questions.
“Well, I was having trouble with some other superstars and I just needed to step away,” Y/N replies.
“Do we need to beat them up?” Ruby questions.
“Oh, you can if you want,” Y/N laughs. “Ready to go home?”
“Yes!!” the girls exclaim.
The entire ride home, the girls were telling Y/N things about school, their friends and even some stuff mom and dad did. They didn’t stop talking til the front door opened. The girls ran upstairs to put their stuff away.
“Did they talk your ears off?” Adam asks.
“Oh they did,” Y/N chuckles, “but I missed it. I’m glad to have time off.”
“I mean with what you’re going through with those four,” he says.
“Yeah, I can tell you about it when the girls are asleep,” Y/N says, giving her dad a hug.
Neither of them pull away. It has been so long since they last embraced each other. Y/N felt calm for the first time in a few days. She was away from everyone and everything that made her worry. She was just with her family.
“Dad!” Ruby yells, running down the stairs.
“Be careful, but what?” He questions, pulling away from his eldest daughter.
“What’s for supper?” She asks.
“Well, I think it’s shepherd’s pie,” he replies.
She then nods and runs back upstairs, yelling at Lyric. Y/N laughs. She missed this. The yelling and laughing, even the squealing. Adam smiles at his daughter. From what Dakota was telling him, she needed this break.
“Hey, how about you go take a nap. I know you want one and we’ll wake you up when supper is ready,” he says.
Y/N nods. She gives her dad a kiss on the cheek and walks up the stairs. When she opens her door, her room is clean. Beth always cleans the room when she leaves.
Even though she has her own apartment, she likes to stay with her parents. She doesn’t want to live there all the time because she’s 24, but she hates being away from her family after so long.
Just as soon as Y/N’s eyes closed, her phone buzzed. She picks it up. It’s Bayley.
They seem lost know that you're gone-Bay Bay
Well, that sucks for them. They don’t want to see me- Y/N Bear.
It does. How’s being at home?-Bay Bay.
It’s good. Dad has sent me for a nap so have fun with the house show!!- Y/N Bear.
Y/N doesn’t remember much after she set her phone down. People jumping in her bed awoke her. It’s her sister and dad.
“Wake up, it’s suppertime!!” they all exclaim.
“I’m up, I’m up,” Y/N laughs.
The three get off the bed while she pulls the sheets off of her. She gets out of bed with her sisters pulling on her arm. They pull her all the way to the kitchen table. They sit her down and sit on either side of her. She helps the girls dish their plates before getting her own.
“Oh my god mom, this is so good,” she says.
“Thank you,” Beth says.
“Y/N, are you gonna be changing anything now that your heel?” Adam questions.
“I might talk to Vince, Hunter or the creative team about changing my theme song. I think maneater is not my thing anymore,” she answers.
“But I liked maneater,” Ruby says.
“That doesn’t mean we have to stop listening to it. We can jam to it every car ride if you want,” Y/N laughs.
“What are you thinking?” Beth asks.
“I’m thinking of something by Alter Bridge, maybe Open Your Eyes or Addicted To Pain. I’m still deciding though,” she replies.
“Of course, your style is going to change,” Adam says.
“Yes! I’m kinda hoping you, mom or some other older superstars could help me. I kinda want it to be you guys or them helping because you’re all a big part of my life and with the help, it would just get some meaning,” she says.
“I could help you contact some of them, like uncle Jay,” Edge says.
“That would be amazing,” Y/N smiles.
The rest of summer was just full of random conversations and laughter. This is just what Y/N needed. She didn’t even think about what happened yesterday. Though the question keeps going through her mind every once in a while. Why are they so upset that she’s talking to her father?
They’ve already voiced that he was going to keep her sheltered and he’s holding her back, but there has got to be more to it.
After supper, Y/N played Barbies with her little sisters. Helped them with their night routine. Once the girls are in bed and sleeping, Y/N makes her way back to the living room. She sits down next to Beth.
“Wanna tell us what happened?” Adam questions.
“Yea, I do. I think it’ll be better for me to talk about it,” Y/N replies.
“So, when we were having our minor argument, they stepped in basically. They were telling me that you were holding back. I’m in your shadow. I didn’t really like what they were saying, but I did,” Y/N continues.
“They were trying to get you away from your father,” Beth says.
Y/N nods. “Then I had a sleepover with them. It was amazing. That’s why I really didn’t answer your calls that day. I went back to Bayley’s room and talked to you. Everything was wonderful. Then I had a match at a house show. Left my phone out in the open. You messaged, and they looked at it. When I went back to the locker room, they were suddenly angry. It was because I was talking to you again. They had their match and came back. Forced me to take my phone out, place it on the table. Then they start saying I’m disobeying them.”
“What the fuck,” Adam says.
“Yeah, like I never once heard them tell me not to message. Then I said something along the lines of ‘I’m not like Dom. I want my father around and, of course, I’m going to be in his shadow. It sucks, yes, but he’s the Hall of Famer I’m not,’ then I left. They returned my bag to Bayley and said that they don’t want to see me for a while,” Y/N finishes.
“Wow,” Beth says.
“I can’t believe they don’t want to see you again for that,” her father says.
“I know it’s so confusing. I also might have gone to talk to them today but decided not to and they found me walking away from their door,” Y/N says.
“Awe, sweetie,” Beth says, rubbing her shoulders.
“I hope you know I don’t really care if you try to get with them,” Adam admits.
“That won’t change your hate for them, though?” Y/N questions.
“Oh my goodness, definitely not. I need to still teach them a lesson or two,” He laughs.
“You can do that,” Y/N giggles.
“Y/N sweetie, what I think is that you should give them their time they need and you should have time for yourself too. Maybe get your nails done, your hair done or you could go to the beach or something,” Beth says.
“I like that. I shouldn’t have to worry if they like me or not. I should be worrying about myself before others,” Y/N smiles.
“That’s exactly how it should go, honey, but it’s getting late. I love you and goodnight,” Adam says, getting up, kissing her head and giving Beth a kiss before walking upstairs.
“Anything you want to tell me that you didn’t want to tell your father?” Beth asks.
“Oh, my god. I like them so much and it kills me that they don’t talk to me,” Y/N admits.
“When did you finally stop hating them?” Beth questions.
“I honestly don’t know. They made me talk to them in their locker room. I cried to them because of what dad was saying and suggested a sleepover. It was a good sleepover too. Rhea took my makeup off for me and helped with my night routine. I slept in the same bed as Dom and her. In the morning they let me watch dirty dancing! When we were in the change room, I had to sit on Dom’s lap and she did my makeup for the house show,” Y/N says.
“That’s very great of them,” Beth says. She stands up, pulling Y/N up with her.
“You should go to bed. It’s getting late, and you had a couple of big days the past few days.”
“Yeah, I will. You should also go to bed. We both know how dad gets without you sleeping next to him,” Y/N laughs and hugs her mom.
They both walk up the stairs together and wave to each other as they make it to their rooms. Y/N smiles to herself as she closes the door. She could finally sleep tonight without crying herself to sleep. It felt good to talk about something. Even if the other person doesn’t say much, it still helps.
Y/N doesn’t even focus on the fact that she never got a goodnight text from any of them. She didn’t really even worry about them. She went to sleep thinking of what she could do with her family after her sisters got off of school.
