REVOLUTIONARY RESOURCES
WE’VE BEEN WORKING ON AN ACCESSIBLE GOOGLE DRIVE PROVIDING PDF AND EBOOK RESOURCES ON ESSENTIAL REVOLUTIONARY READING.
Accessible by this link, you can find resources on Palestine, the Black liberation movement and essential Communist thought:
We believe that it’s essential to the revolution to stay informed and educated, and that education should be fully accessible to everyone.
(NOTE: Our current resources are unfortunately limited to English and some Spanish, but we are working hard on providing resources in more languages. Let us know if you have any translations or materials!)
UPDATED SPORADICALLY:
We aim to have a section on Imperial Japan added soon.

Am I stupid or something because I agree with all of your post but I don't know what's wrong with small businesses. Am I a capitalist because I'm disabled and can only make money selling stickers or am I missing a bigger picture
Because this is tumblr and people in the notes will immediately read three lines of this and accuse me of pissing on the poor, I will begin with a disclaimer that I am neither comparing you to a Elon Musk nor calling you evil.
So, you sell stickers. I would assume that in this context you are selling your own stickers with your own designs, rather than working as a cashier selling someone else's stickers, since you're disabled and you mentioned you can't work a job. You are therefore selling a product you own (whether you produce the stickers entirely yourself or use a 3rd party company) for a profit at a (presumably) online store instead of selling your labour power for a wage. This, by definition would make you petit bourgeois.
When communists talk about class positions, it is not a question of an individual's morality, motivation or amount of income.
Being a small business owner (or petit bourgeois), means that your class interests and the class interests of the workers (the proletariat) come into conflict. As a clear example, let's say in this scenario that you are selling a sticker design on a 3rd party website that specialises in this service, and they source the actual physical stickers from factories around the world. Here, you are essentially selling your intellectual property to the company in exchange for some of the profits from its further sale. Perhaps many of those factories are in the global south, in countires with very low wages and few worker protections (due to intervention from imperial core bourgeoisie powers). One day, the political struggle for worker rights and higher wages is won in some of these countries, driving up the cost of production for the stickers. Perhaps there is also a victory for a union of delivery service workers at home in the imperial core, driving up wages and protections for them as well, further cutting into profits.
The function of the 3rd party sticker company is to strive for ever-increasing profits the capitalists who own it and its investors. The cut in profit will have to be made up elsewhere. This will be done by investing in political groups that are willing to repress worker movements within these countries, shifting production to countries that have yet to achieve these worker victories, cutting corners on their imperial core workers, increasing their price of service by taking a larger cut of your profits, or a mixture of some or all of these.
In that scenario, the proletarian class interests (higher wages, more protections and regulations) are in direct conflicts with the interests of the bourgeois 3rd party sticker company (higher profits, meaning lower wages and less protections and regulations) and by extension, yours, as your class interests also revolve around profit. When workers gain more power, it cuts into your profits. As a petit bourgeois, you are incetivised to support and pursue bourgeois and petty bourgeois politics such as IP laws.
As an individual, you can be whatever kind of person with whatever politics and views you have. As a petit bourgeois small business owner, you have a certain class position that comes with a certain set of class interests. You can always choose to forego your own class interests and instead support the class interests of the proletariat by being a communist even while continuing to be petit bourgeois or even as full on bourgeois. Very notable example being Engles who, although he was a factory owner, he was also one of the two founders of marxism, with the other one being Marx.
The point I was trying to make in the post that probably got you to send this anon, is that there isn't anything inherently communist or "leftist" about supporting small businesses. It is both an incredibly common liberal policy and talking point to support small business, and it does not serve the interests of a proletarian political movement to protect the petit bourgeoisie or ally with them, except in certain instances and involving certain sections of the petit bourgeois, rather than a blanket statement of saying that the small business owner is a nobler form of capitalist.

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮
𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 is a genus of plants in the Araceae family that is extremely popular among plant collectors or indoor growers. The Monstera genus has about 50 recorded plant species, however variations within each species are quite numerous and leaf shape continuously changes through stages throughout the developmental life cycle. The Tobancay classification table compiled includes the common and easily confused species, types or forms of 13 popular 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 types, listed specifically below:
𝟭. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗮 𝘃𝗮𝗿. 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹/ 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼 𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺
This is a variety of species 𝘔. 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘢, said to originate from Brazil, with deeper cuts and only one row of wide holes or an additional row of small holes close to the midrib; The leaf shape is round, the tips of the leaf lobes are pointed and curved.
𝟮. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗮 𝘃𝗮𝗿. 𝘀𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮
Previously it was scientifically described by G.S. Bunting in 1965 and classified as a lower level (variety) of Monstera deliciosa, now it has been grouped together and considered a variant of this species. 𝘔. 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘢 var. 𝘴𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘢 was first found in 1961 in the Sierra de Juárez mountain range in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. The outstanding features of its leaf shape are 2 very low leaf base lobes, deep slits near the middle of the leaf veins, curved and pointed tip, with only very few holes arranged in a row on each side.
𝟯. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 ‘𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘅 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲’
This type was often mistakenly labeled Monstera dilacerata, however this name is a synonym of 𝘌𝘱𝘪𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘯𝘶𝘮 𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘮. Its cultivar name is given to Roberto Burle Marx, most of the later seedlings were propagated from the first specimen in his personal plant collection and since he left no notes about this specimen, it has not been used. clear where it comes from. It is also hypothesized that 𝘔. ‘𝘉𝘶𝘳𝘭𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘹 𝘍𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘦’ is a variation of 𝘔. 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘢 var. 𝘴𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘢, their appearance has many similarities, except for the deeper cuts, the leaf lobes are thinner, sharper and more curved towards the end, the overall shape is also more elongated and has almost no holes.
𝟰. Schott 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮
This species was first scientifically described by H.W. Schott in 1857, and its natural distribution range stretches from Costa Rica to Ecuador and Venezuela. Its name is given to the characteristic of mature leaves divided into lobes according to a pinnate structure. The leaf shape is long oval or elliptical and can have 2 colors when young, gradually disappearing when mature; The leaf lobes are deeply cut into the midrib and have almost no holes. The adult leaf size can reach 70 cm in length.
𝟱. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗮 Liebm.
Native from Mexico to Panama and first scientifically described by Liebmann in 1849, it quickly became popular and was grown as an ornamental plant and for its fruit. The name of the Genus 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 is derived from the Latin word ‘monstrum’ meaning ‘bizarre, extraordinary’ and the species name ‘deliciosa’ meaning ‘delicious’. It is a highly diverse species, many of its designs and variations are found and recorded in nature as well as selective breeding. The most common type has a round gourd leaf shape, mature leaves are divided into many closely spaced lobes, on the leaf blades there are one to two rows of large holes and small random holes, the number of holes and slits depends on factors. environment; Leaf size can reach more than 90 cm in optimal conditions.
𝟲. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗮 (Schott) Schott ex Engl.
Has a distribution range from Mexico to Panama, first scientifically described in 1879. 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘱𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘢 has many similar characteristics to the more common species 𝘔𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘥𝘶𝘣𝘪𝘢, however its leaf blade is wider, the two leaf bases are shaped Full heart-shaped, mature leaves can reach 120 cm in length.
𝟳. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗮 (Kunth) Engl. & K. Krause
Native plant of Central and South America, first scientifically described in 1908. Sometimes 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘥𝘶𝘣𝘪𝘢 is also sold as 'shingle plant', referring to the characteristic of scaly leaves when young, the leaves also has a layer of sparkling silver that gradually disappears as it matures, at which point the leaves begin to have holes and splits. Mature leaf blades have an elongated oval shape, each side has 1-3 rows of holes, both sides of the leaf base are narrow and deep, mature leaves can reach 100 cm in length.
𝟴. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 ‘𝗘𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗼’
Previously, it was often mistakenly sold as 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘯𝘰𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴, however. 𝘔. 𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘯𝘰𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴 is a species in nature and is very rare in the market, while 𝘔. 'Esqueleto' is a variety of unknown origin and is being sold quite commonly.
This mistake was corrected at the end of 2019, and the members of 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 temporarily named 'Esqueleto' instead, the word in Spanish Nha means 'skeleton' or ' 'skeleton' by the dense perforated structure on the leaves, mature leaf size can reach more than 60 cm with impressively wide holes.
𝟵. Schott 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮
Naturally distributed from Mexico to Venezuela and Bolivia, first collected by Wilibald Lechler in Peru and scientifically described by H.W. Schott in 1860. The leaf blade is oval, the leaf surface is glossy, with few veins and quite a few holes. Small sized holes distributed in a row mainly on each side of the leaf. This is also one of the 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 species that has an extremely large size when mature, the leaf length can reach 120 cm, so it also has another synonym name 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘹𝘪 𝘮𝘢.
𝟭𝟬. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗮𝗳𝗳. 𝗹𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮
A type of 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 is very popular and widely sold, in the past most gardens used the same name 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘪 𝘪 refers to the common leaf type when young, for mature plants it is sold as Monstera adansonii giant, Monstera lechleriana or Monstera acuminata, however recently this name has been corrected, this is a species and has no official scientific description, so it can only be temporarily called 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 sp./ 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 NoID or 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 aff. 𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢, its origin is also unclear. Just like other 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 species, 𝘔. aff. 𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 has many stages of morphological development, the more mature the holes on the leaf become smaller, arranged in a row of main holes and a row of smaller and fewer holes near the main vein, the leaf has a pointed elliptical shape at the tip and two sides. Leaf base lobes are asymmetrical, mature leaves can reach more than 80cm.
𝟭𝟭. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗶 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗽. 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗮 (Schott) Mayo & I.M.Andrade
The species 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘪 is very rare and difficult to find on the market, however its subspecies is 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘪 subsp. 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘢 is very common, this subspecies is naturally distributed in the tropical regions of Central and South America, and was first scientifically described in 1879. Characteristic identification features of 𝘔. 𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘪 subsp. 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘢 is the wing part of the leaf petiole that dries and falls off, the two lobes at the base of the leaf are asymmetrical, one side has a rounded square corner, the other side is half a heart shape. The hole is narrow and long, consisting of a row of large holes and a few small holes near the midrib. Mature leaves can be up to 60 cm long.
𝟭𝟮. Matuda.
A native plant of Belize, Guatemala, and Mexico, first scientifically described by Matuda in 1949, the first specimen was found in Acacoyagua, Chiapas state of Mexico. 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘤𝘰𝘺𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴 has oval leaf blades, glossy leaf surface, wavy leaf edges, random large and small holes, mature leaves can reach a length of 10 0 cm.
𝟭𝟯. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘂
𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘢 is a native species of Central and South America, highly diverse with many variations and leaf shapes depending on the natural distribution location, the most common type is 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵 𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘢 Peruvian also known as Peruvian form originates from Peru. 𝘔. The Peruvian plant impresses with its slender beauty thanks to its large and wide hole system, occupying most of the leaf area; This is also one of the few types of 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢 that keeps its compact size even when mature, the leaf length only reaches about 25-30cm.

I’m just here for resident evil but genuinely how the hell does Katy Perry embody the spirit of communism
Not Katy Perry herself, but her song, “Teenage Dream.”
Now, I’m unpacking it using the contents of the Communist Manifesto in mind. My assignment was in relation to Marx and Engles, so I'll be making comments more about the Manifesto than actual communism. My analysis is beneath the cut, but a reminder that not all lyrics are gonna be applicable, so I'll be leaving some out.
So in the first verse we hear about the narrator (I am separating Katy from the voice whose story we're hearing purely as an analytical thing) and their partner's dynamic.
You think I'm pretty without any makeup on
You think I'm funny when I tell the punch line wrong
From the start, there's a sense of understanding between them, but sayings like "you look pretty without makeup" and finding someone funny when they mess up can easily be taken as belittling or degrading. The narrator does acknowledge that their partner gets them, so they "let [their] walls come down, down" around them, but do we ever hear of the partner reciprocating? No. This leads me to the foundation of this analysis. The narrator represents the proletariat while their partner is the bourgeoisie.
Before you met me
I was alright, but things were kinda heavy
Marx claims the bourgeoisie rose from the nobles of the overthrown aristocracy, while the proletariat emerged from the labourers needed to produce the goods the bourgeoisie would profit off of. The narrator was alright before they met their partner, although "things were kinda heavy" as there was much economical and political turmoil after the overthrow of the aristocracy. The narrator, who (again) represents the proletariat, was brought to life by the new rising class distinctions.
Let's go all the way tonight
No regrets, just love
We can dance, until we die
You and I, will be young forever
This, my dear readers, is a call to action. This is the proletariat rising up in violent revolution as Marx believed it would. The narrator wants to go "all the way tonight" in overthrowing the oppressive bourgeoisie. They'll have "no regrets," and describes the revolution as a dance. They'll remain young forever because the revolution will have been immortalised as the beginning of the communist utopia Marx envisioned.
You make me
Feel like I'm livin' a teenage dream
The way you turn me on, I can't sleep
Why a teenage dream? This is a fresh, naive outlook on the future, as we know that we have yet to witness the communist utopia Marx believed in. The narrator being aroused to the point they can't sleep is their excitement to abolish the bourgeoisie. The thought of overthrowing their partner is invigorating. It brings back the energy and optimism of youth.
My heart stops
When you look at me, just one touch
Now, baby, I believe this is real
So take a chance and don't ever look back, don't ever look back
The presence of the bourgeoisie in the narrator's life (whether it's a look or a touch) makes the narrator's heart stop. Romantically or in fear? Why not both? The bourgeoisie and the proletariat are so intertwined, it would be remiss to view their relationship as strictly black and white. Even so, the proletariat class will prevail! The narrator believes their cause is real, and so they take that chance to eradicate the bourgeoisie from the face of the Earth.
We drove to Cali and got drunk on the beach
Got a motel and built a fort out of sheets
I finally found you, my missing puzzle piece
I'm complete
Why Cali? What's in California? What does California represent? Supposedly, the state of California is a paradisiacal land of sunshine and fame, its beaches the stuff of legend. For ages, California has been seen through rose coloured lenses, but it's not everything it's chalked up to be. The narrator getting drunk on the beach with their partner would make it very hard to remember much of their trip, although it is framed as a positive event. This couldn't possibly be paradise. Not the paradise that the proletariat knows is waiting for them. They rent a motel instead of a high class hotel or any fancy inn, reflecting the class of the narrator. They "built a fort out of sheets," a flimsy, childish construct that would easily fall apart with one wrong move. The fort, therefore, foreshadows the fall of the bourgeoisie, for they've been continuously badgering the working class from the false comfort and safety of their wealth. The narrator finally finds their missing puzzle piece on this trip, thus completing them. Their partner, the bourgeoisie, the representation of all that is corrupt and wrong with society, the root of all their problems- their missing puzzle piece. The narrator finally sees the whole picture, and the time for revolution is upon them.
Anyway that's why Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" embodies communist revolution. I misspoke when I said it represented communism. I didn't think anyone would ask.

Look I think we all know the weirdest. So what was your favourite? And your first?
I'm not that sure about the weirdest! I think Unai/football pairing makes a lot of sense, and there could be more written about it, and I think I wrote weirder (in the sense of cringeworthy, pointless) fics haha.
My favorite... hmmm. The Stands of Villa Park for its novelty as I mentioned in the previous ask. Never felt so much alike because it gives me a chance to explore the fucked up relationship (with a bit of piss kink), which I like. From the old ones, I remember being very proud of His although I haven't read it in ages since I'm afraid it will ruin the perception I have of it as the perfect Rakidrić fic. Oh, and definitely Strangers in the night, because it's very random, but I just felt like writing something angsty about Souness and Keane being so deep in the closet.
My first fic ever was probably a crack fic about Karl Marx/Friedrich Engles lol. But it wasn't serious stuff. Maybe Hamilton/Laurens thing - which I wrote BACK IN 2011 BEFORE ANY HAMILTON MUSICAL EXISTED. It was basically a story of how Hamilton sees Laurens' ghost before his duel, and Laurens "leads him to the afterlife" lol. It was very sappy and bad. I also wrote a Lewis/Clark thing. I just loved American history at the time. I sort of revisited this once I got back into American history through Hamilton, in Let's fade together, let's fade forever. I wrote a couple of historical RPF back in the day (I studied history and enjoyed all the possible ships from it). And actually, my first football slash wasn't even the Rakidrić Madness one! I wrote one in Czech which I posted on my old blog (which doesn't exist anymore), and it was a Ferenc Puskás/Sándor Kocsis one (the two of them cuddling up close when they learn about the occupation of Hungary in 1956, when they're abroad with the team). Yep, 1950s footballers going wild, lol. It still might be somewhere.... I'm not sure I want to find it though. But the first one on AO3 is Madness, the start of the Rakidrić madness.

steddie but modern au& eddie is a communist and loves talking about it(not in the bad way just in the: people should care about people why the fuck do we have taxes help other people: way)
and steve knows basically nothing, he knew karl marx's name?
and steve sees this meme and shows eddie, going "hey! this is for you; you're red... and comrade.."
and eddie, with all the love he has in his heart just sits there staring until steve goes, "a communist!"
and eddie's like, "wow yes, that is in fact me."
so steve goes, "yeah! and he's one of the communist guys, right?"
and eddie just goes back to staring because what the fuck steve,,,,
"he wrote the communist manifesto,, with engles, and to be fair mostly engles did it, but yeah."
"oh shit no way??? well,,,, he loves boy pussy?" is steve's only response.
eddie mentally slaps his own face but just reaches over to kiss his beautiful, wonderful, absolutely amazing and goofy boyfriend.
steve grins at him and kisses him back, his face tinged pink because eddie doesn't condescend him as bad as everyone else does

what do you think of fluttershy my little pony comrade. whats your opinion about Her.
Fluttershy is one of only two proletarian ponies of the group (Pinkiepie is also proletariat) they, and the honorable peasant-farmer Applejack, shall lead the Maoist Revolution which shall destroy both the landlord class headed by the repressive and superstitious monarchy as well as the bourgeois class which is crushing the workers of Equestria and keeping them backwards.
Once she has encounter the works of Marx, Engles, Lenin, and Moa she shall lose her shyness just as the workers shall lose their chains. No longer will she be self-conscious but class conscious! No longer just the pony of kindness but also the pony of Solidarity! No longer a cutie mark of just butterflies but a cutie mark of the ranks of labor marching together to the creation of a world communist society! No longer yellow, but red!
She will be the founding mother of the Democratic Pony’s Republic of Equestia when she leads an animal army into battle against the monarchists! Long live the science of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism-Fluttershism!
