Ace, Sabo, and Luffy X Y/N Pov: meeting for the first time.

Ace

Ace POV:

🔥 ''Pops look at this bounty!'' Ace said excitedly and showed Whitebeard a wanted poster of a beautiful woman. Whitebeard took the poster, to get a better view. ''That is quite the bounty, and such a beauty could need some protection'' Whaitbeard knew Ace too well, so he knew that pops would help him.

🔥'' Marco I want you to keep an eye out for this girl'' pops held up the poster. ''Got it pops'' Of Marco went using his Tori Tori no Mi, devil fruit, to get a good view from the sky. Ace went onto the deck, getting more and more excited.

🔥 He wondered how long it would take to find her, it could take days, weeks, or even months. Whitebeard had a lot of connections so it could go fast for all he knew. No matter how long it took he wouldn't stop searching for her even if the Whitebeard pirates stops.

🔥 ''I can see land, is that the right one pops?'' Ace asked, and pointed toward the island. Whitebeard nodded, ''That is what my contact said.'' Ace got more and more excited, but if he finds her how would he react and do? All these questions in his head, wouldn't stop spinning.

🔥 '' She wasn't there'' Marco put his hand on Ace's shoulder, he just shook his head. Just where could she be? All the contacts hadn't seen here, except this one. ''Set sail!'' Roared Whitebeard. And of we go, ''Looking for me cowboy?'' the voice came from behind him, he looked to see her sitting relaxed with her back against the wall.

Y/N POV:

🔥 A new wanted poster had just come out. Your bounty got bigger and bigger. You felt proud of the amount, it was above The worst generation of pirates. And you liked it!

🔥 " Which Island is next? I could go for this one, looks like a good place to hide while getting stronger." The map showed a little island that had a little shape on the map, compared to the other islands this one was little for sure.

🔥 As you set sail, it fell good to be on the sea again. The sound of the waves, the wind, and the sun. There were not you loved more than the sea. "All this excitement," you said with a big smile.

🔥 Finally you arrived at the island, it had taken days. But it was worth it! It was little, quiet, and not many people around. As you walked down the street you overheard a voice "the woman you're searching for just arrived at the island 'Smal town'"

🔥 To get safer you decided to get to move around by using the trees, you had always liked to climb. When you saw the sea you saw Moby Dick, "So the Whitebeard pirates are here". Out of curiosity, you got on board, when they left the ship. " She wasn't there" It was fire fist Ace. Oh my! " Set Sail" roared Whitebeard. You sat down leaning against the wall ''Looking for me cowboy?'' You asked with a smirk.

Sabo

Y/N POV:

🌡The government knows well who you are, they have quite the interests in you. Neither were you a Pirate, marine, or a revolutionary, but you were smart and clever. When you wanted to disappear, you did. If you wanted to be found they did find you.

🌡" Common Y/N we finally found you, all we want is to ask you a question," The Admiral of this Navy ship said. You looked around the room there was only one window and that's it.

🌡 "What do you want to know," you asked and started to walk around, you were restless. "We would like you to become an undercover marine'" This is the dumbest question ever. Why would you become a marine when you had a relaxing life.

🌡 "And just what do I get out of it?" Your answer came as a surprise, they didn't answer right away. " we know that you are relaxed by nature, but you also have knowledge that could be necessary for us" so that's what it is!

🌡" So if I say no you're going to keep me here?" The government wasn't trustworthy, that's for sure. " Sound about right, we have orders"

Sabo POV:

🌡" Sabo we have a new mission for you," Drago said as he entered the office. A new day a new mission, Sabo was getting used to this. It all was so exciting, " Ok I'm ready" he couldn't wait to start.

🌡" Have you ever heard of Y/N?" of course he had, she is known for being smart and clever. No one knows more about her. "Yes I do, but I don't know what she looks like" Dragon placed a picture on the desk, and Sabo went closer to get a better view.

🌡She looked pure and nothing like the rumors. From what he had heard she was seen as a mysterious human being. No one had seen her face, so there was a lot of imagination and stories. " Find her and get her here to safety, the government wants her. You will find her on a navy ship"

🌡 Sabo sets of with Koala the two of them should be enough. They needed to be quiet not to be seen. So to many from the revolutionary army would be too much. It didn't take long to find the ship.

🌡"It's only one Ship, we should split up, Sabo you should try the windows, I will have a look on the deck," Koala said and started to climb. Sabo used a rope so he wouldn't fall into the water. In one he saw her, she was a beauty. He gave Koala the signal to get the marines to go onto the deck. As soon as they left the room he knocked on the window, and she opened it. "Would you like to get away from here?"

Luffy

Luffy POV:

🍖 " Sanji! I'm hungry!" He screamed at the top of his lungs. The cook just nodded and went for the kitchen, all he could think about was meat. "Luffy you need to contain yourself." Robin said in a calm voice.

🍖 "Usopp, Chopper! I wanna Fish!" It didn't take long until the three of them were fishing. It was the perfect weather for it, the sun was bright and a little bit of wind. " this is boring" Luffy just couldn't sit still today, no matter what.

🍖 " Eat this and shut up" Sanji sat his plate on the swing. "Looks delicious" He got even happier! It was all meat! The food was gone in a blink of an eye, ha starter to choke on the food like always.

🍖 "Hey if you are finished, come back I have a great feeling," Usopp smiled like he always does when he has a little lie on his mind. "Once I was able to get a 10 000 ft long f...." "I CAN SEE ANOTHER SHIP AHEAD!" Zoro yelled, from the crows nest

🍖 "Get ready everyone!" Nami yelled, Luffy Stood up holding his hat. Usopp and Chopper got ready for a battle with the others. " It's The Straw Hat pirates! Brace Yourself men!" A girl yelled

Y/N POV:

🍖 " Do we have everything we need before the next island?" Y/N asked her right hand. He opened the storage book and saw through it twice. "Looks like we only miss some cannon balls," he said and showed you the book.

🍖 The two of you went on deck to see that some of your crew were fishing, some relaxing and some were hardworking. " Can you see anything you asked as you took a glance at the at sea.

🍖 "it's a nice day to day wouldn't you say" the ship's doctor approach you. "Yeah it is, still I find it a bit too quiet," for the last couple of days you had been hunted down by marines and bounty hunters. After The worst generation, they have seemed to be more active.

🍖 "Captain I can see another pirate ship!" You're left-hand man came over by your side with a telescope. You too it up to your eye, you had seen that flag a lot of times in the paper. " It's The Straw Hat pirates! Brace Yourself men!"

🍖 The battle cries raised from your crew the closer you got to The Straw Hats. You got ready to board the ship when, Straw Hat Luffy asked "Hey! Are you pirates!"

Dolorose delusioni robotiche

Ci sono - lo confesso - alcuni robottoni giapponesi che mi hanno dolorosamente deluso. Vado a esporne sinteticamente le ragioni.

Gordian L’idea del robot matrioska è bellissima. Peccato che la maggioranza degli episodi sia disegnata in maniera mediocre. Senza contare la risoluzione banale dei misteri che avrebbero dovuto circondare la vicenda. Il finale è tragicamente fiacco. Tanto più che a un certo punto il robottone smette di combattere. Come sprecare un’idea - ripeto - bellissima.

Zambot 3 Il robot è bellissimo ed è uno di quelli che maggiormente somigliano agli antichi samurai (soprattutto nell’elmo con mezzaluna). Però ha pochissime armi (la maggior parte delle quali ottenute combinando le due spade). E la maggior parte degli episodi sono davvero disegnati con il culo. Lasciamo perdere poi il tragicissimo finale durante il quale muoiono quasi tutti.

Danguard Ecco, qui la mia delusione riguarda la vicenda. Perché il robottone a me piaceva molto (a parte l’arma finale, il cannone Balkan). Peccato impieghi ben dodici episodi prima di sostenere il primo combattimento. Altro finale fiacco e banale. Simpatica, però, la presenza di Marco Columbro fra i doppiatori.

God Sigma Niente da dire sul robottone. Per lo meno, a me piaceva molto. Anche qui, purtroppo, la maggioranza degli episodi mostrava disegni e animazione approssimativi. Per quanto riguarda la vicenda, trovo inverosimile l’improvvisa pazzia da cui è colto il dottor Kazami. Gli ultimi due episodi, mai doppiati (almeno credo) sanno di poco.

Baldios Il robottone è bellissimo e come Zambot ricorda molto un samurai. Le armi non erano male (a parte i Baldi missili). Però aveva ai miei occhi un difetto imperdonabile. In svariati episodi Baldios non combatteva. Quanto al finale, oltre a essere forse l’unico in cui i buoni perdono, è pure monco perché la serie viene interrotta a causa dei bassi ascolti. L’hanno conclusa con un film il cui dooppiaggio è completamente diverso da quello del resto degli episodi.

Daitarn 3 Ecco, lui mi ha fatto incazzare tantissimo. Splendido il robot e bellissime le armi. E la qualità generale di animazione e disegni non è male. Solo che a un certo punto la serie assume connotazoni buffonesche. Gli scontri robotici diventano ridicoli, per non parlare dell’aspetto dei megaborg. Solo nel finale si torna a esser seri. Permettetemi qualche rimostranza circa la vicenda. Perché lascia irrisolti alcuni interrogativi. Che fine hanno fatto i genitori e il fratello di Benjo? E chi sono davvero Koros e Don Zauker?

Getta Robot Parlo della prima versione, eh. Bella l’idea del robottone componibile (il primo di questa categoria). Solo che le tre combinazioni sono esteticamente oscene. E hanno pochissime armi (due a testa, se ricordo bene). Credo che la sua sia la prima serie in cui uno dei piloti ci lascia le natiche, sebbene volontariamente.

Gaiking La storia ci può anche stare. E l’idea del robottone che “nasce” dalla testa di un drago robotico ci sta. Ma lui è uno dei giganti più brutti che mai siano stato prodotti dall’animazione nipponica (molto meglio la versione posteriore). Quanto al pilota, è il più imbranato dell’universo tutto. Se non ci fosse la squadra a supportarlo, gli farebbero un culo grande come un mastello. Nel finale è deludente la facilità con cui sconfiggono i quattro sgherri del Cattivone.

Astroganga Una delle serie che mi hanno fatto incazzare di più. I motivi? Il robottone non ha armi. Il piccolo pilota è praticamente inutile, visto che Ganga è del tutto autonomo, essendo senziente. I mostri sembrano disegnati (male) da bambini dell’asilo nido. Alla fine, il robottone muore per salvare la Terra. Vi basta?

“I’m sure you’re right, sweetheart.” Julia drains her glass, putting it to one side. “But don’t you worry about it.”

With Marco’s proven interest, the old lady begins to tell her father’s story.

“The treasure was a typical assortment of wealth, but the most important item was a sapphire-set ring known as the Kraken’s Eye. Created with the power to summon the squid-beast, it was fiercely protective of its collection for this reason. Only the worthy would earn mastery over it.” Julia nods slowly. “I do not know if they called the treasure ‘cursed’ because of the high adventurer death count, or if it refers to the Kraken itself being cursed by the ring’s spell. Both, perhaps.”

She catches one of Queenie’s staff, asking them to bring her a drink more thirst quenching than wine. “Before I get into the quest, I must provide some context. My papa, Captain Ruiz – we’ll call him Captain Ghoul for the tale, as his crew did – was madly in love with a beaaautiful dragoness, Perdita Von Drachen. Despite her stunning beauty, she always covered the right half of her face, but that’s a story for another time.”

Receiving a glass of coconut water to sip, she continues.

“Ghoul brought her many valuables by his own merit, but it takes more than that to melt a dragon’s heart, and Perdita’s was forged from ice. It was she that challenged him to retrieve the Kraken’s Eye. The ring had once belonged to her family, or so she claimed, but became lost at sea.” Despite not having any rings, Julia looks at her own gloved hand for emphasis.

“Determined to win her affections, the captain set off at once. He was going to need more than courage if he wanted to survive, so he and his crew stopped at a port-town near the kraken’s lair. Many warned him to abandon his venture, but some gave him worthwhile advice. He learned that the kraken had mastery over wind and would stop boats dead on the water before they reached the cave. He also learned that cannons wouldn’t be enough to defeat it, but they’d push it away if it tried to capsize the ship.” She nods again. “Now, these tales gave Captain Ghoul some sleepless nights. He thought this might very well be the journey that ended his career; that Perdita had sent him on a fool’s errand so he might never see her again. One night at the tavern, Ghoul met an old potions master that sold him something for it. One drop of the liquid in a glass of water, and he’d be out like a light. He tried it the night before setting out to sea, and it worked a treat. He woke feeling refreshed, ready for the challenge ahead, and took the rest of the potion with him.”

Julia pauses to take a longer drink, renewing her vocal chords. “They sailed for some time without issue, with seagulls to guide them. But as soon as they spotted the jagged, black cliff face of the kraken’s lair, the wind died.” She swirls her glass. “The captain was prepared. There was a reason the crew called him Ghoul, and it was because he could communicate with the dead. With a kraken nearby, he knew they were drifting over a mass grave. Calling out into the ocean for those slain, hundreds arose from the deep and began to heave the boat forward.”

“Even with the spirits to move the ship, there was about to be another problem. Ghoul told his men to load the canons. They had to make it to the cave in the cliffside quickly, because there was no way the kraken would let them sail on by. He was right. From the depths emerged the humongous, slimy squid-beast, tentacles thrashing as it let out a deafening screech. The canons fired, and that was enough to stop it grasping the ship—but not enough to stop it sweeping the deck, plucking out the captain and plunging him into the water.”

Deliberately choosing to delay, Julia finishes her juice before telling the rest. “Ghoul could swim, of course, but the kraken had his legs firmly in its grip. It was bringing him toward its beak—he was about to become seafood. But he was a quick thinker. Remembering the sleep aid in his pocket, he hurled it into the kraken’s maw with all his strength. For a moment, he didn’t know if this worked, and did his best to grab for his cutlass—but the beast’s limbs went limp, and he was able to swim to the surface. With the kraken asleep, they could safely enter the cave and take the treasure.”

She smiles, her white fangs flashing as she retells the next part, “And what a gorgeous cave it was, filled with rare gems and finest gold. The captain was only after one thing, however, and that was the ring. Glinting in the light of their lamps, it winked at them atop a chest full of silver pieces in the centre of the cave. At the request of his crew, they heaved the whole thing home.”

The tale is almost done, and Julia folds her arms. “Perdita was pleased to have the ring. But to Ghoul’s shock and awe, the first thing she did was break the spell on it! She said its history had more worth, and with the kraken’s freedom, far less lives would be taken. But in bringing it to her, Ghoul had also proved his devotion, and she agreed to be his bride. And that, my dears, is how my parents came to be married.” She clasps her hands together. “If you want proof, you should ask Queenie veeeery nicely if she’ll let you see the Kraken’s Eye, because it’s been passed down through generations. You might have once seen it on her fingers, but a devoted dragon only wears one ring.”

Julia doesn’t move for much of the evening, but she’s still surprised when Samuel returns.

“Thanks, sweetie. This makes me feel a lot better.” Despite this claim, the gift seems to make her eyes water, but she smiles while wiping her face. She ruffles his fringe. “You boys get home safe.”

Gonfaloni di Compagnia: Quartiere di San Giovanni

PARTE SECONDA PARTE PRIMA: Quartiere Santo Spirito PARTE SECONDA: Quartiere di Santa Croce PARTE TERZA: Quartiere di Santa Maria Novella Suddivisione degli antichi Quartieri fiorentini

Nel Medio Evo, le città erano divise sia per effetti amministrativi sia per quelli militari: in Sestieri, Quartieri, Terzieri e in suddivisioni minori. Queste in Toscana, avevano nomi diversi. A Siena, Montepulciano e in altri luoghi si chiamavano Contrade, nella città di Pisa avevano il nome di Cappelle, a Prato si riconoscevano dal nome delle porte cittadine ad esempio: Porta al Serraglio. In Firenze si chiamavano Gonfaloni. Al tempo della Contessa Matilde di Canossa, nel 1078, essendo la città cresciuta enormemente di popolazione, fu deciso la nuova costruzione di mura al posto delle preesistenti costruite dai Bizantini, per inglobare i nuovi insediamenti. Vennero chiamate “Matildine” o “Antica Cerchia di Cacciaguida”. Si procedette alla divisione in Sestieri assumendo il nome di: Oltrarno, San Piero Scheraggio, Borgo, San Pancrazio, Duomo, San Piero, divisi in seguito in venti Gonfaloni. Quando tra gli anni 1282 e il 1333, venne una nuova cerchia muraria con il nome di “Arnolfiana” dal nome del costruttore Arnolfo di Cambio, la città venne divisa in Quartieri, prendendo il nome delle quattro porte principali: Porta al Vescovo o del Duomo, Porta Santa Maria, Porta San Piero e Porta San Pancrazio o Brancazio. Dopo la cacciata del Duca di Atene, nell’anno 1343 fu deciso di tornare alla vecchia divisione della città; in quattro Quartieri: Santo Spirito, Santa Croce, Santa Maria Novella, San Giovanni dal nome delle quattro chiese principali. Ognuno venne a sua volta diviso in quattro Gonfaloni, ciascuno possedeva un suo territorio, in determinate parti della città, separato dagli altri da un muro, dal fiume Arno e da strade principali. Ogni divisione, aveva carattere amministrativo e militare. Erano tenute ad eleggere un Gonfaloniere o Capitano assumente il titolo di “Compagnia”. Quartiere di San Giovanni

Gonfalone Chiavi – Dalle mura cittadine presso la Porta alla Croce, il confine era delimitato dalle Vie dell’Agnolo e Via dei Pandolfini. Per Via del Proconsolo entrava in Borgo Albizzi, passava fra le case dietro Santa Maria in Campo, traversava Via dell’Oriuolo, e giungeva allo Spedale di Santa Maria Nuova e per Via della Pergola e Via di Pinti tornava alle mura. Le parrocchie alle quali appartenevano le case di questo territorio erano: Sant’Ambrogio, San Pier Maggiore, San Procolo, e Santa Maria in Campo;

Gonfalone Drago San Giovanni – Dalla Croce al Trebbio per Via del Giglio fino a Piazza Madonna degli Aldobrandini, Via della Forca, Via Cerretani, Piazza del Duomo, Via dei Martelli e Via Larga (Via Cavour), fino alle mura. Da lì per Via San Sebastiano, Via della Sapienza, Via del Cocomero (Via Ricasoli), di nuovo a Piazza del Duomo, da San Cristofano degli Adimari, il Ghetto Piazza degli Agli, e da lì attraverso le case e per Via del Trebbio fino alla Croce al Trebbio. Comprendeva le parrocchie di: Santa Maria Maggiore, San Lorenzo, San Marco, San Cristofano degli Adimari, San Tommaso, San Leo, San Michele Berteldi;

Gonfalone Lion d’Oro - Da Piazza del Duomo per via de’ Martelli e Via Larga fino alle mura per arrivare al confine del Gonfalone Lion Bianco. Poi per via de’ Cenni, Via del Giglio, Via della Forca di Campo Corbolini e via de’ Cerretani tornava in Piazza del Duomo. Il territorio apparteneva alle parrocchie del Duomo, San Lorenzo, Santa Maria Novella, Santa Maria Maggiore;

Gonfalone Vaio – Da Orsanmichele, Piazza di Mercato Vecchio, Piazza di San Cristofano Adimari, Piazza del Duomo, fino a Via de’ Servi, le mura, Via della Pergola, Via Folco Portinari, dietro Santa Maria in Campo, Via del Proconsolo, Via Dante Alighieri fino a Orsanmichele. Parrocchie del territorio: San Michele in Orto, San Tommaso, San Cristofano Adimari, Duomo, San Pier Celorum, Santa Margherita, San Martino, San Michele Visdomini, SS Annunziata, Santa Maria in Campo, San Benedetto e Santa Maria Alberighi: Nel Corteo della Repubblica Fiorentina, sfilano con il Quartiere di San Giovanni dopo il nobile Commissario il Bandieraio con la bandiera con l’insegna del Quartiere: D’azzurro al Battistero d’oro affiancato da due chiavi (una per parte) in palo legate con un cordone dello stesso colore. Sono presenti i quattro Gonfalonieri di Compagnia, con i quattro bandierai che portano l’insegna del Gonfalone.

Giornata Internazionale delle persone con disabilità: donata una carrozzina all'Istituto Enzo Drago. Messina. In occasione della Giornata internazionale delle persone con disabilità si è svolta lo scorso 1° dicembre, all'Istituto Comprensivo n.7 Enzo Drago, la cerimonia di donazione di una carrozzina per disabili da parte dell'Associazione A.C.C.I.R. di Messina. All'evento, cui hanno preso parte in rappresentanza dell'Amministrazione comunale l'assessore alla Pubblica istruzione Pietro Currò e l'esperto del Sindaco alle politiche sportive e delegato Comitato Italiano Paralimpico (CIP) di Messina Francesco Giorgio, erano presenti la dirigente scolastica Virginia Ruggeri; la direttrice dei Servizi generali e amministrativi Francesca Colafati; il responsabile della Funzione Strumentale dell'Inclusione Giuseppe Coppolino; il presidente dell'A.C.C.I.R. Rosario Tuvè unitamente a volontari dell'associazione; padre Marco D'Arrigo della Parrocchia di San Pietro e Paolo; oltre alla partecipazione attiva degli alunni della quinta classe primaria del plesso "Principe di Piemonte" per testimoniare l'impegno della scuola nei confronti dei valori umani e sociali. A fuoco il Drago di Vaia, distrutta l'opera sull'Alpe Cimbra

Il Drago di Vaia, l’opera d’arte realizzata da Marco Martalar sull’Alpe Cimbra utilizzando il legno di risulta della tempesta Vaia, è stato distrutto dalle fiamme nella tarda serata di ieri. L’incendio è scoppiato poco prima delle 22. Fringe Festival di Edimburgo 2023

Come ogni anno agosto è il mese del Fringe Festival di Edimburgo, noto per essere la più grande celebrazione di arte, cinema e teatro in tutto il mondo. Il festival nacque  nel 1947, quando otto gruppi teatrali vennero invitati ad esibirsi all’ Edinburgh International Festival e, a seguito della rapida partecipazione di molti artisti indipendenti negli anni successivi, nel 1958 venne creato il Festival Fringe Society. In seguito venne scritta una costituzione che ad oggi rappresenta uno dei capisaldi del Fringe Festival, infatti è vietato controllare il programma del festival e ogni artista che ha una storia da condividere è ben accolto  sul palco. Il festival ha una durata complessiva di 3 settimane e per l’edizione 2023 è iniziato il 4 agosto e terminerà il 28 agosto. Durante il festival  saranno presenti molti artisti provenienti da tutto il mondo e tra questi anche italiani, come la Compagnia Torre del drago aps di Bitritto,  che da lunedì 14 a sabato 26 agosto sarà impegnata con lo spettacolo Orfarm – Animal Farm di George Orwell, nell’adattamento di Luigi Facchino. Per il secondo anno consecutivo la compagnia teatrale proporrà un suo lavoro a Edimburgo, apportando alcuni cambiamenti rispetto alla messa in scena del 2022:ì, come l’utilizzo della lingua inglese, anziché quella italiana, sottotitolata. Per prepararsi ad affrontare lo spettacolo il gruppo di Bitritto ha scelto di farsi preparare nella recitazione, intonazioni e la lingua dal regista inglese Peter Vickers. In scena ci saranno 5 attori, 2 in più rispetto allo scorso anno, che sono Luigi Facchino, regista, che nella precedente esperienza è rimasto dietro le quinte, Francesco De Pinto, Marco De Letteriis, per la prima volta al Fringe, Francesco Latorre e Alessandro Valerio, che torneranno a Edimburgo per il festival. La compagnia Torre del Drago andrà in scena ogni giorno dalle 18.35, nel Thistle Theatre, sul finire della Royal Mile, la strada centrale della città vecchia di Edimburgo, che è il cuore del Fringe Festival. Seguendo il racconto di Orwell, Facchino ha apportato delle modifiche, infatti i maiali della fattoria diventeranno dittatori replicanti dell’uomo e, a seguito di vari scambi di ruolo, ci si renderà conto che la ragione è l’unica variante dell’uomo . Lo spettacolo, in forma di corto teatrale, è arrivato tra i finalisti del Concorso Internazionale Premio di Regia Fantasio e nel dicembre 2022 è stato presentato presso il Teatro di Villazzano  inoltre è arrivato tra i 13 corti finalisti, su 135, del Festival Internazionale Teatri Riflessi di Zafferana Etnea e il 14 luglio è andato in scena presso l’Anfiteatro Falcone-Borsellino di Zafferana. Al Fringe di Edimburgo il lavoro  debutterà in forma completa, ma in inglese, infatti  la versione italiana andrà in scena a settembre in Puglia.   Read the full article
